Players who have battled through the Legendary Campaign in Destiny 2 are waiting for some really good rewards. They will be rewarded after the campaign with a power level of 1,520 and can choose one of the new armor exotics. But this is a nasty trap! MeinMMO reveals to you why you should definitely refrain from choosing the armor exotic.
The Legendary Campaign in Destiny 2 has been well received by players. Many have not even played traditionally but immediately started the hard mode. After all, Bungie has promised really good rewards for that, making it worthwhile to put in a bit more effort.
Once you have completed the Legendary Campaign of “The Witch Queen”, players receive a complete set of weapons and armor that instantly elevates them to power level 1,520. Additionally, Ikora offers the player two of the brand new armor exotics to choose from.
Titans can choose between “Loreley Splendor” and “Raureif-Z”
Hunters can choose between “Decay Ranger” and “Renewal Grips”
And Warlocks can choose between “Secant Filaments” and “Osmiomancy Gloves”
As it turns out, there is a huge problem with the values of the armor exotics. They are indeed appallingly bad, as if you had drawn them straight from the collection. They almost always have a total armor value of only 46, making them not really usable.
Refrain from choosing an exotic. The values are poor and reduce your chances!
At first, it was thought to be coincidence. But now that many players have completed the Legendary Campaign, it was clear that unfortunately, there were no exceptions. All selectable exotics from Ikora had these really lousy values, which is bitter because it has far-reaching implications for the affected players.
Where exactly is the problem? The armor exotics are considered Lost Sector items. They normally only drop when players play Lost Sectors solo on higher difficulties. The drop rates of new exotics are usually somewhat higher.
However, those who have already selected the armor exotic through the campaign will have their chances of a subsequent drop in a Lost Sector or in the Open World drastically reduced.
If you have, for example, chosen the Loreley Splendor helmet for your Titan, it is considered already acquired. Thus, it will no longer be the most likely exotic to drop for you in a Lost Sector when the headpiece is available.
Even the Loreley Helm of the Titan had poor values.
So you don’t face disadvantages
When playing the Legendary Campaign, it is best to select none of the armor exotics at first.
You can easily cancel the selection by leaving the menu. This step is also not necessary to complete the campaign.
MeinMMO has tested this, and you can later, once the problem is resolved or Bungie has commented on it, return to Ikora and retroactively request the armor exotics from the Legendary Campaign. Even if she may no longer be in the Enclave location on Mars, she will still offer you the exotics. Just visit her at the Tower in her old location.
What if you have already chosen? All other legendary heroes who have already chosen must now hope for their luck or farm Lost Sectors to eventually have their exotic drop well. However, this may take some time, depending on loot luck.
Currently, similar problems are occurring with Xur: Apparently, not only Ikora with her armor exotics is affected. Xur has also been noted to have significantly worse offerings in terms of armor values. He only had armor exotics with total values between 48 and 50.
What does Bungie say about the problem? Unfortunately, Bungie has not yet commented on this. However, we are keeping an eye on it and will inform you as soon as further information becomes available.
Have you already chosen your armor exotic? Does it annoy you that you have drastically reduced your chances of getting a better roll? Or have you not played the Legendary Campaign at all and thereby escaped the dilemma? Let us know in the comments.

A tragic story is currently touching the community of Elden Ring. Two Souls fans are looking forward to the new game from FromSoftware, but one dies before the release. His best friend therefore pays him a very special honor in the game.
In the subreddit of Elden Ring, memes, jokes, and a lot of unrestrained joy about the game currently dominate. But one user’s story has deeply moved the community.
With much attention, support, and composure, the fans of Elden Ring are reacting to the story of user TheUncannyJones and his best friend, Jason.
TheUncannyJones is a big fan of the Soulsborne games, thanks to his friend Jason. Both players were correspondingly excited about the release of Elden Ring, but Jason died shortly before the release.
To honor Jason one last time, TheUncannyJones remembers his deceased best friend in a very special and touching way.

In the MeinMMO podcast, we talk about what a “Dark Souls” newbie can expect from Elden Ring
“I created my character in his image so he can explore the Between Lands”
Because his best friend can unfortunately no longer explore the game world of Elden Ring himself, TheUncannyJones found another way.
He created his game character in the image of the deceased Soulsborne fan, naming him Jason of Lordran. Thus, the character is a lord from the world of Dark Souls, with which both players apparently share a lot.
Jason of Lordran stands proudly in full knight armor in Limgrave. The imposing Stormveil Castle waits in the background for the warrior to accomplish the difficult challenges.
Memories of the deceased friend motivated the player at the Tree Sentinel
Because the community understands well how Souls fans think, another reddit user wrote in the comments: “The guy is probably looking down from above and laughing at you for getting destroyed by the bosses so often.”
TheUncannyJones agrees. He said that during the difficult boss Tree Sentinel, which streamers have struggled with, he could almost hear the mocking motivating words of his deceased friend.
It was definitely a deciding factor in why I needed 27 attempts to kill the Tree Sentinel. After I saw how little damage I dealt, I thought: “This boss is probably meant for later…” and then I heard him call me a wimp.
From this, the player apparently drew the necessary strength to defeat this tough opponent. Because on the 27th attempt, the Tree Sentinel fell to the blade of Jason of Lordran.
Neither the player nor Jason of Lordran should have major issues with this special dynamic in this game that is actually quite hard.

Combat
General
Weapon swapping
Weapons can now be swapped during reactions to hits, dodging, moving, and using consumables (excluding weapon coatings).
This does not interrupt these actions. In these cases, there is a cooldown of 1 second for the weapon swap.
Weapon swap buffers will no longer be interrupted when you stagger before the weapon is swapped.
Weapon swaps and attacks can now be queued simultaneously. So if, for instance, you press weapon swap during recovery after an attack and immediately after press a skill key, the weapon will swap on the first swap cancel frame and then the desired skill will be executed immediately after. Note that the actions still have buffers and cancel windows. This change just makes them easier to use and more reliable.
Dodging & Blocking
We have reduced the recovery time for all dodging actions. Switching from dodging to movement should now feel smoother for all players.
The start of basic melee and ranged attacks can now be canceled up to 2 frames before the first active frame by dodging or blocking. For melee attacks, the first active frame is the first frame in which the weapon can deal damage. For ranged attacks, it is the first frame in which the projectile spawns.
For light attacks with melee weapons, blocking and dodging inputs now take priority over the next light attack in the chain. This aims to prevent accidental chaining of attacks, which would leave players vulnerable when they actually wanted to defend.
Jumping
Jumping off lower objects no longer triggers a full landing animation, allowing you to move more fluidly through Aeternum.
Attribute
Attribute bonus at 300 focus: The mana regeneration from this attribute bonus is now triggered when the spellcaster has 15 mana or less.

Life Staff
Beacon
Light Speed:
A bug was fixed where the haste from “Light Speed” was not applied to the spellcaster when their weapon was sheathed.
Haste from “Light Speed” now affects all targets in the area, not just allies who are being healed. The tooltip has been revamped to indicate this new functionality.
Musketeer
Sticky Bomb:
A bug was fixed where the critical damage of the sticky bomb was not increased when critical damage numbers were displayed. Critical hits now deal approximately 273% weapon damage.
The base damage of the sticky bomb was reduced from 235% weapon damage to 210% weapon damage.
A bug was fixed where the transitions of the sticky bomb at the end of the throw would be erroneous and inconsistent depending on the actions performed after the throw. This could cause players to not be able to use other skills until they moved or swapped weapons.

Throwing Spear: A bug was fixed where swapping weapons during the use of the throwing spear could lead to a faulty animation state.
Sword and Shield
Shield Rush: The hitbox of this skill has been brought closer to the player to avoid situations where the skill could hit targets that seemed out of reach. As compensation for the reduced range, the distance traveled by the skill has been increased.
Backstab:

Jump Strike:
The jump and attack of this skill now have their own properties for target finding and movement to improve overall accuracy depending on distance.

The faction trader now offers a gypsum orb that can be purchased once daily for 7000 faction tokens.
Talents Levels
R3 talent boxes now provide crafting equipment at the forge.
Talent boxes now drop with viscous azoth.
General Bug Fixes
Armor Plates of the Ancients, Ancient Metal Wire, and Cold Forged Buckles cannot be earned in the game and are no longer incorrectly listed in the trading post.
The new chat channel for trade has a new icon and text color.
Shadow Shards can no longer be used to upgrade an item that has been removed from the player inventory and placed in a bag on the ground.
A bug was fixed where players were not notified about expired orders in the trading post, indicating that they should return to the town storage.
Several grammar errors in tips in the loading screen have been corrected.
A bug was fixed where the shield action menu did not function correctly after canceling dyeing.
Open World
Due to the lessons learned from lowering the base taxes in December, we want to lower the base tax costs further for players who own houses, to make life easier. In this update, we significantly lowered the tax rates themselves and increased the income earned directly from base taxes for companies (to offset the lower tax rates so that cities can continue to be operated as before). After these changes, we will continue to closely monitor the economy in the game and adjust the territory tax system as needed. Here are the specific changes for February:
The minimum base tax rate has been reduced from 5% to 0.1%.
The maximum base tax rate has been reduced from 10% to 1%.
The ruling company receives 5 times more coins from regional base taxes.
The experience curve for level-up for fishing skill has been flattened by about 38%.
The experience curve for cooking has been increased by about 30% as progress in this skill was significantly faster than in other skills. This should make the frequency of rewards for cooking talent more in line with those in other professions.
Completing the Mutated Dynasty expedition now gives Sapphire Gypsum.
The bosses in the Dynasty expedition now reward the same amount of coins as bosses in other endgame expeditions.
Castings now yield 100-400 Shadow Shards instead of the previous 3-200.
Crafting now yields 25-100 Shadow Shards instead of the previous 1-85.
A bug was fixed where some players were locked out of chat at the start of their session for a few minutes.
Graphic issues were fixed where tooltips in clothing made of treated silk displayed the wrong armor rating.
We have ensured that the first item dropped by expedition bosses always provides an expertise boost.
No debug text is now displayed on the Starstone Memory Ring.
The server now teleports twice as many players in and out of wars, reducing wait times.
A bug was fixed where the wrong attribute effect was rolled for fire staffs and life staffs in mutated expeditions.
Mutator orbs now have 5 Mighty Gem Dust instead of 10.
Mutator orbs can now be purchased in the faction shop every 3 days instead of every 7 days.
World
The faulty collision in the northern spawn in Outpost Rush, which allowed enemy players access to the spawn, has been fixed.
A bug was fixed that caused players to receive large amounts of Advent Stars. The amount has been adjusted to 4.
Quests
Level-60 quests in Brackwater and Breakwater now yield gypsum orbs as a reward.
The experience reward for side quests (level 10-60) has been increased by 50%.
Travel
The Azoth costs of fast travel have long been a problem for players completing quests, depositing items, or just exploring the wilderness of Aeternum. Given high base costs and additional costs for distance and encumbrance, traveling to the next step in a quest could feel more cumbersome than it should be. To remedy this, we are lowering fast travel costs and shortening the cooldown for retreating to your last inn:
Fast traveling from towns and shrines now has a base cost of 20 Azoth.
The costs no longer change due to distance or weight.
The standard cooldown for retreating to the inn has been reduced from 1 hour to 30 minutes.
The costs for resetting the fast travel cooldown from houses have been reduced from 50 to 20 Azoth.
We are aware that these changes will result in significantly more Azoth remaining in the game world and many players will have more than they can use in the near future. We are also aware that this will neutralize the bonuses for faction control points in certain regions. We want to address these pitfalls in a future update. However, we did not want the improvement of your travel experience to be delayed for this reason.
Mutations
The flammability tooltip now correctly describes the effect on players.
AI
A bug was fixed where Corrupted Priests would repeatedly run back and forth in forts during invasions instead of attacking.
Combat
The tooltip for “Eager Slitter” now gives the correct duration. Previously, a cooldown of 10 seconds was displayed as the duration of damage over time instead of the correct 6 seconds.
After a melee attack, there is no longer a delay before you can run again.
The sliding after dodging or rapid direction changes has been reduced.
Unholy Stulpen
The Unholy Stulpen are currently a bit too effective at holding and killing targets before they can escape from the root caused by “Petrifying Cry”. We are extending the cooldown of “Petrifying Cry” to make this deadly combo rarer and reducing the damage of the Decay Sphere to make it less likely to kill these harder opponents. Since the Decay Sphere also has many other functions like healing and weakening, we believe we can reduce its damage without making the skill overall less attractive.
Petrifying Cry
Cooldown extended from 15 to 25 seconds
Decay Sphere
Skill base damage reduced from 100% to 90%
Exploding sphere: Explosion damage reduced from 100% to 70%
Rapier
We see that many players use the rapier mainly for its defensive capabilities as a secondary weapon. While we expected this behavior in a two-weapon system, we think this setup is a bit too effective when running away. Therefore, we are increasing the cooldowns of the abilities in the Elegance tree. As compensation for the longer cooldown when dodging, we are swapping the upgrades “Crescendo” and “Inhale” to allow players who use dodging offensively to reduce the cooldowns better.
Riposte
Cooldown increased from 12 to 18 seconds.
Dodge
Cooldown increased from 6 to 12 seconds.
The positions of the upgrades “Crescendo” and “Inhale” have been swapped. Due to this change, the points spent in this tree will be refunded and need to be redistributed.
Fléche
Cooldown increased from 17 to 20 seconds.
Great Axe
We have received feedback that the changes to “Source of Gravity” in PTR have reduced its effectiveness too much. Therefore, we are trying a different approach. The new version of “Source of Gravity” roots your targets after the first pull and then causes a stronger slow, making it harder for opponents to escape the damage impulse without using a movement ability.
Gravity (passive): A bug was fixed that prevented this skill from functioning.
Source of Gravity: This skill has been revised compared to the previous PTR version.
The pulling now pulls opponents more reliably into the center.
Enemies pulled into the center of the vortex are rooted for 1 second.
Slow has been increased from 55% to 60%.
The duration of the slow field has been reset back to 3 seconds so that it lasts until the explosion.
Server
Players must now be nearby each other to trade and send gold. Players who are in an invalid location receive an appropriate error message.
Several bugs related to transferring characters to other worlds have been fixed.
What do you think of the big February patch? Are you satisfied with the changes or do you miss an important adjustment?

Sony more often presents patents or new features for the PS5. A new patent is said to offer you better graphics and performance in the future. MeinMMO explains what it is about.
Sony regularly presents patents that aim to provide new features for the PS5, PS4, or other devices. Some of them sound crazy, while others are supposed to deliver tangible benefits for you as gamers. One of them, the feature that aims to improve colors and brightness on the PS5, has already made its way to the PS5 as Auto HDR Tone Mapping.
What kind of update is this? Sony has likely recently filed a new patent that could bring new graphic functions to the PS5. This could provide you with significantly better performance in the future.
The latest patent from Sony was presented by the Twitter user “Gaming Updates and Countdowns I”. The patent itself was registered by Mark Cerny. Cerny is the chief architect of the PS5.

New patent promises significantly better performance?
What kind of patent is this? The patent describes that Sony wants to use “accelerated ray tracing”. This could not only make the games significantly more beautiful, but could also provide a decent performance boost.
Why should this lead to better performance? Ray tracing is a graphic feature that makes your games more visually appealing. The lighting looks better, and the shadows appear more realistic. However, the problem with ray tracing is that the process requires a lot of power. In the worst case, you even have to lower the resolution to play smoothly.
The 10 most beautiful ray tracing games you should check out in 2021 [Advertisement]
What is the patent supposed to improve? Sony explains in its patent a way to improve ray tracing so that the feature requires significantly less power. In the future, you could use ray tracing without losing performance.
Other patents are more likely to cause unrest in the community than excitement. Sony presented a patent that would allow viewers to decide which users would be banned from games in the future. However, many users do not like this idea, as such a feature could turn multiplayer into a paradise for trolls:
Valve’s (Steam) boss, gaming legend Gabe Newell, is launching a broadside against new trends like NFT or the Metaverse. Most people talking about the Metaverse right now have no clue, says the head of Steam. They probably never played an MMO.
This is the situation:
Gabe Newell is somewhat like the “father of modern PC gaming”. He is an iconic game developer and entrepreneur who developed “Steam”, the dominant PC platform of our time.
In recent years, there have been some tech trends like “the Metaverse”, about which most gamers are not quite sure what it actually is and why it is so great. The Metaverse seems to be envisioned as “a virtual universe where people and companies are visually represented and interact and conduct business together.”
Ideas that promote the “Metaverse” have existed for decades in MMOs
This is what Newell says about the Metaverse: In an interview with PCGamer, he views the current discussion about the Metaverse critically. According to him, there are some “get-rich-quick” schemes regarding the Metaverse. For him as an MMO player, this is nothing new:
“Most people talking about the Metaverse have absolutely no idea what they are actually talking about. And they apparently have never played an MMO. They say things like: “Oh, you have these customizable avatars!” And I think to myself: Go to La Noscea in Final Fantasy XIV and tell me that this isn’t a problem that was solved a decade ago. This is not some great new thing that you are inventing fresh.”
Gabe Newell
Moreover, science fiction authors have already dealt with the idea of a Metaverse decades ago. Newell says he is a friend of the author Neal Stephenson (Snow Crash). He is someone who today is considered one of the fathers of cyberspace along with William Gibson (Necromancer).
Whenever Newell meets Stephenson today, he gets upset about the latest silly “Metaverse” story. Today’s tech companies do not understand that the idea of a “Metaverse” was depicted as dangerous in the novels back then.

Sci-fi authors created the Metaverse as a warning. Tech companies interpret this story as great future visions because it can make a lot of money.
New Metaverse fans arrive “too late to the party” but bring investors with them
Is a Metaverse coming? Newell is rather optimistic about it: He believes they will manage to do it. However, many Metaverse fans are probably just late:
“Obviously, the gaming industry has been researching these techniques for a long time. It is interesting to see how people are now behaving who are so late to the party and to see what they will bring besides people who want to give them a lot of money for some magical reason. But in the end, a useful technology will prevail, so I’m not too worried about that.”
MMO fans find it hard to see more in the “Metaverse” than “Second Life”
What’s behind it: Gabe Newell explains here why gamers find it so hard to understand the “special” aspects of the idea of a Metaverse. After all, the vision ultimately sounds quite a bit like an MMO that refers to the real business world, similar to Second Life.
If someone explains to you the fantastic idea that you could play an avatar in the “Metaverse” and customize it personally, you as an MMO player just shrug your shoulders. We have been doing that for decades and call it “character creation”.
The current trend in gaming is mainly about the opportunity to make money:
In Destiny 2 many Hunters complained since the release of Witch Queen that their class is now unusable. However, now an Exo makes the Hunter the strongest option regarding the overall DPS of all classes. We will show you how the Hunter does it.
What happened to the Hunters? Many Guardians could hardly wait to finally wreak havoc in Savathûn’s Throne World. But despite their anticipation, the Hunters were skeptical. Thanks to the new ultimate customization of Void 3.0, all classes received the opportunity to shape this Super according to their standards. However, Bungie stated in a preliminary adjustment that some perks of the Nightstalker would also be nerfed.
Hunters sensed something was off and with Witch Queen, many players started to boycott Destiny 2. They were forced to switch to other classes, even though they had remained loyal to their class for years and threatened to strike. A lot of frustration was in the air, but not anymore. A dusty Exo named “Orpheus Rig” suddenly makes the Hunters the best DPS monsters in the entire Destiny universe.
Orpheus Rig – Old Exo, but devastating effect
By using the old Exo boots “Orpheus Rig”, Hunters have new hope that they are not as useless as they initially thought.
These thick boots are of great use – Orpheus Rig
What does the Exo do? These boots have the intrinsic perk “Uncanny Arrows”. With this, you receive:
A little ability energy for each target tethered by the Deathtrap
You receive one additional arrow charge for your Mobius Quiver.
The additional charge is especially important, as the Mobius Quiver is key to the exorbitant damage. With this Super focus, you fire three arrows at your targeted enemy, additionally, you can shoot these twice. However, with the Exo boots, you can generate one additional shot of three arrows, thus delivering the final blow to your opponent.
Compared to the Thundercrash Super plus Exo with 126,000 damage, the Mobius Quiver can score with 200,000 damage, almost single-handedly taking down any boss straight through. Provided you use the boots and hit all nine shots. Unless Bungie adjusts or disables something for the new raid, the Hunter will be a must-have on Day One.
What do the players say? Players are switching back to their old main class and using the dusty boots anew. YouTube user The Pale Greek has the following to say:
Yes, I have hardly ever used Orpheus or even Void, but I put on the Orpheus Rig without realizing that it gives me a third quiver shot. This will definitely be all I wear until they nerf it, as the Hunter has no endgame DPS.
Even community manager dmg04 from Bungie has commented on Twitter and apparently likes that there are players who try it out first and then criticize.
I have to say, it was quite interesting to see how the feedback switches between “Void Hunters are not great” and “Void Hunters currently have some of the OP builds with the most OPs in D2!” Both sides have great feedback points that need to be consumed and passed on to the team. Thank you to everyone who experiments and gives feedback.
Other players are also glad that the community discovered this combo and are looking forward to finally trying it out. This will especially impact the endgame. Maybe the first raid run will be a walk in the park.
What do you think? Have you tried this combo already or did you know it earlier? Let us know in the comments how you feel about it!

To enhance your gear in the endgame of Lost Ark, you need Harmony Leapstones and Harmony Fragments. We will show you how to successfully farm them.
What do I need Harmony Leapstones for? Once you reach level 50 and enter the endgame, you want to enhance your gear. For that, Harmony Leapstones and Harmony Fragments are required in Tier 1 content.
You need the Harmony Fragments to bring the XP of the selected gear item to the maximum level. After that, the real upgrading begins.
For weapon upgrades, you need Destruction Stone Fragments.
For armor upgrades, Guardian Stone Fragments.
Harmony Leapstones are additionally required for both types of gear.
You can improve your gear from +1 to +20. However, since upgrading can also fail, many stones are needed until you have improved your equipment to +20. That’s why we’ll tell you how to quickly obtain Harmony Leapstones.
Farming Harmony Leapstones and Harmony Fragments – Here’s How to Do It Fastest
There are numerous ways to obtain the items. Quests, dungeons, islands, and even through your guild.
Daily Quests: First, you can complete the daily quest “Sail Like the Wind” to receive Harmony Leapstones. You can find them in Una’s Tasks by pressing Alt+J.
Before that, you need to talk to Rutaru in North Vern, who will explain the system of Una’s Tasks to you.
PvP: There are two weekly PvP quests that will grant you the aforementioned stones. You need to complete five PvP matches, where the outcome doesn’t matter. It’s worth it, as you’ll receive a total of 38 Harmony Leapstones for this.
Dungeons: Another option is Chaos Dungeons. These will grant you Harmony Leapstones in the first two runs per character. After that, you’ll only receive Perception Fragments, which we’ve introduced in more detail here.
Additionally, the dungeons in Rohendel may yield the stones and fragments if you complete them on hard mode.

Islands: You can also farmislands. The Seagull Island and Glacier Island are particularly rewarding, as they yield many Harmony Fragments.
Blood Stones: Your guild can provide you with Harmony Fragments. Those who are in a guild and donate will receive so-called Blood Stones. In North Vern, there is an NPC where you can exchange these stones for Harmony Fragments.
Guardian Raids: In the Guardian Raids, you will fight against a single boss with 1-4 players. The battle lasts about 20 minutes. Here, you have the opportunity to farm additional items with an alternate character and transfer them to your main character.
What requirements must I meet for all of this? To receive Harmony Stones and Fragments, your character must have reached level 50. To complete daily quests, you also need to talk to the NPC Rutaru in North Vern beforehand to unlock Una’s Tasks.
Your Gear Score also plays a role. For example, to enter the tower, you need a score of at least 302. This increases over time; at level 5 you then need a minimum of 340, and on floor 50 at least 540.
Have you successfully farmed Harmony Leapstones and Harmony Fragments? To what level have you improved your gear? Which method seems the most effective so far? Feel free to let us know in the comments here on meinMMO!
On February 28, the new expansion End of Dragons for the MMORPG Guild Wars 2 will be released. We at MeinMMO take a look at the expansion and tell you who it is interesting for and whether it’s still worth getting into Guild Wars 2.
What’s included in End of Dragons? The new expansion takes you to the continent of Cantha. This continent has an Asian influence and impresses with some beautiful areas. Especially fans of the first game will benefit, as they already know the continent and will encounter many Easter eggs.
Otherwise, the expansion offers:
New story content around the fight against the Elder Dragons
When will End of Dragons be released? The release of the new expansion will take place on February 28. A specific time has been announced. It starts at 18:00.
What is the price of End of Dragons? The standard version of End of Dragons costs €29.99. This includes all new content. There is also a Deluxe and an Ultimate Edition, each offering bonus items and gems, the real-money currency.
Anyone who does not yet own any other expansions can purchase the Collection. For €49.99 you get all three expansions of Guild Wars 2 in one package.
For a quick overview, we have included a short checklist for you. We have prepared 10 statements for you, and if you answer at least 7 of them with “yes”, you can confidently play End of Dragons. You can find more detailed information further down the text.
I am looking for a new MMORPG that I can play cheaply, or I am considering returning to Guild Wars 2.
I love Asian worlds, which also have a few Steampunk elements.
My current classes in Guild Wars 2 absolutely need new skills.
Huge world events with dozens of players are exactly my thing.
I love action-packed combat systems with dodging roles.
I like to fish for leisure in MMORPGs.
I’ve always wanted to sit on a giant turtle and shoot enemies with big cannons.
New equipment is not important to me; rather, I prefer to learn new secondary skills like faster riding or cute robot companions.
I want to be the great hero in the story.
I have already played Guild Wars Factions and want to experience that feeling again.
Guild Wars 2: Everything you need to know about the new expansion End of Dragons in under 3 minutes
End of Dragons delivers a lot, even without a big hype
Why should I play End of Dragons? End of Dragons is the third major expansion for Guild Wars 2 and promises a lot of new content once again. For fans of the MMORPG, it is a must to play End of Dragons as well.
Especially fishing, the new mount, and the Jade-Bots offer many side activities and opportunities to make progress without needing a new max-level or new equipment to enter the game. Furthermore, it is true that the ascended armor at level 80 is the best you can get.
In addition, you can expect numerous hours of story and dozens of achievements, as well as new world events, which are one of the hallmarks of Guild Wars 2.
The Jade technology plays an important role in the story of End of Dragons.
Is it worth starting Guild Wars 2 as a newcomer? Yes. Newcomers should not be discouraged by the sheer amount of content in the game. You reach level 80 within 20 to 30 play hours. After that, you can theoretically start directly into End of Dragons.
However, we recommend playing through the entire story first. Because each chapter builds on each other and tells a common story, where a jumping-in point is difficult, though not impossible.
In GW2, however, it is generally true: The journey is the goal. Because the endgame of Guild Wars 2 differs from classic MMORPGs. Although there are dungeons, raids, and strike missions (10-player instances, where often only one boss awaits), you can also reach the best equipment through achievements, crafting, or by purchasing at the trading post.
Moreover, equipment does not play such a big role because, in PvE, you can experience everything outside of raids without the perfect equipment, and in arena PvP, the equipment doesn’t matter at all. And even if you want to have the best equipment, you can achieve this easily in 20 to 50 play hours.
If you are considering starting Guild Wars 2, you can find a detailed beginner guide here:
Focus on the story and “casualization” is not for everyone
Who should better not play End of Dragons? Guild Wars 2 has some quirks that not everyone will like. One aspect is the combat system, which relies on you quickly dodging enemy attacks, keeping yourself alive, and occasionally executing a combo with special AoE fields.
Another aspect is the lack of item spiral. Because once you are level 80 and own an ascended gear, you are basically done with the game. In the endgame, a lot revolves around side skills, fashion, and skins, farming achievements, and the story.
And even this story is not viewed positively by everyone since you are the hero of Tyria and basically take on every danger. However, there are so many heroes of Tyria that the immersion can sometimes be lost.
In general, Guild Wars 2 is quite easy, and in case of hurdles, other players can always help. This makes it a good casual MMORPG, but not a game for hardcore gamers. In End of Dragons, despite new strike missions, this likely won’t change.
Whether Guild Wars 2 is worth it for you, you can find out in detail in this article:
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet were announced in the Presents on February 27 for the Nintendo Switch. The 3 new starters, the available Pokémon, some clips from the explorable world, and even a rough release date were shown. MeinMMO reports on everything we know so far about the 9th generation of Pokémon.
What can you expect in Scarlet and Violet? In the new main editions of the series, you can explore freely for the first time. The different sections of the world and the cities flow seamlessly into each other, with no loading sequences between the areas.
The Pokémon roam freely as well, and you can discover them anytime in the sky, in the forests, and along the paths.
Only in Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee as well as Sword and Shield was the feature of freely roaming and catchable Pokémon included before. However, Scarlet and Violet resemble Pokémon Legends: Arceus in both the feature and the graphics.
Wild Flabébé by the roadside, whether you can catch them or just interact with them remains to be seen.
When does it start? At the end of 2022, you can already embark on your journey. The exact date has not yet been revealed. However, based on other releases, one can assume that it might be sometime between October and November.
What can the starters do? Like always, the abilities of the 3 starter Pokémon are the same. The plant Pokémon Felori has the ability Grassy Surge, while the fire starter Krokel has the ability Blaze and the water Pokémon Kwaks has the ability Torrent.
All three abilities are activated when the Pokémon has only 1/3 of its hit points (HP) remaining. Thus, Grassy Surge boosts plant-type attacks, Blaze boosts fire-type attacks, or Torrent boosts water-type attacks by 50%.
However, how the evolutions of the 3 starters look has not been revealed yet.
You in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
It seems that the protagonists of the new games are younger again than in the predecessors. Depending on which edition you choose, the outfits of the protagonists differ.
If you choose Pokémon Scarlet, the two wear red-orange themed clothes, while in Violet, the color violet is themed more.
The protagonists in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Can you customize your character again? In recent generations, you could dress the characters as you liked. This should probably also be possible in Scarlet and Violet. The trailer already showed a shop that hints at this.
A glasses, accessory, or clothing store was seen in the trailer of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
It seems to go to Spain in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
It is very likely that Scarlet and Violet are based on Spain (via Twitter), as a map of the Spanish region was at least seen in the trailer.
And even in-game, there was a map on the wall that hints at the Iberian Peninsula, which includes Spain and Portugal (via Twitter).
User Tarnished Coco compared a building from the new generation with the famous Sagrada Família from Barcelona; the similarity is definitely visible:
Which Pokémon can you get? So far, several Pokémon have been heard and seen in the trailer of the 9th generation. We have listed all the Pokémon that are already known:

How does Pokémon Home work? With Pokémon Home, you can transfer Pokémon from other generations to the current one and usually vice versa. It has already been announced that only Pokémon that appear in Scarlet and Violet can be transferred there (via Twitter).
This means that not all 905 previous Pokémon may be available in the new editions. However, it has not been officially confirmed which and how many Pokémon will make it into the game.

Next Wednesday, the new TOTW 24 (Team of the Week) is expected in FIFA 22. Here on MeinMMO, you can already find out which players could be in the new Team of the Week.
What is the Team of the Week? Every Wednesday in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, the Team of the Week is released. The team consists of 23 players who have delivered strong performances on real football fields during the previous football weekend.
These players receive a spot in the Team of the Week as well as upgraded Inform cards, which can be found in packs for one week.
These are TOTW Predictions: The TOTW Predictions are forecasts from the FUT community. They try to guess which players might land in the Team of the Week.
They provide a good overview of who could be in the TOTW. Potential Inform players can then be used to earn coins on the transfer market. How to do that can be found in the trading tips.
However, it’s important to note that these are theoretical predictions and not guarantees. The TOTW 24 next Wednesday could look entirely different from what the predictions suggest.

These players from the Bundesliga could be included:
Joshua Kimmich from FC Bayern was the Man of the Match in the 1:0 against Eintracht Frankfurt. The national player delivered an outstanding performance and impressed with an impressive passing rate of 93% as well as the decisive assist. A spot in the TOTW, and thus an upgrade of his Headliners card, could be on the line.
Moussa Diaby from Bayer Leverkusen played strongly and scored 2 goals in the 3:0 victory against Arminia Bielefeld. A performance for which the Frenchman could receive his third Inform card.
Hoffenheim’s Christoph Baumgartner scored both goals in the 2:1 against VfB Stuttgart. Whether he receives his first Inform card in FUT 22 will be revealed on Wednesday.

In Pokémon GO the Alola Season will start in a few hours, which is supposed to focus on the Pokémon of the 7th generation. Now there are the first insights into which monsters will await you. We at MeinMMO will show them to you.
What is the Alola Season about? In Pokémon GO there are different Seasons referred to as seasons. These always last for a period of 3 months and reflect a specific theme.
This is especially evident in the spawns and events that take place during this time. Starting tomorrow, on March 1, 2022, the previous Season of Origins will be replaced by the new season “Alola Season” (via pokemongolive.com).
Which events and spawns you can expect during this time is not officially known yet, however, Niantic has now given a first insight into the new Pokémon. We will show you which monsters have been announced.
In total, four different images of this kind were shared, each showing a Pokémon represented as a shadow. Of course, dedicated Pokémon fans can immediately recognize which monsters are hidden behind them.
Peppeck
One of the images we have also embedded for you shows the Normal and Flying-type Pokémon Peppeck. You can recognize it by its black and white plumage, the red stripe on its head, and its long beak. The small bird evolves into Tukanon via Trompeck.
Another image preview on the Twitter account of Pokémon GO shows Wuffels. Wuffels is a Rock-type Pokémon that strongly resembles a dog. It evolves into Wolwerock. Its evolution has two additional forms, “Day Form” and “Night Form” besides its normal form.
However, how multiple forms of Wolwerock will be implemented in the game is not known yet.
With the introduction of Generation 7, a new Dragon-type Pokémon is expected to debut in the game. Miniras evolves into Gradiras via Mediras. You can recognize the small dragon by its large yellow shield on its head and its gray-black body.
With Kapu-Riki, the first legendary monster of the Alola region is revealed. It is of the Electric and Fairy type and has no pre-evolution or further evolution. Kapu-Riki has two bowls decorated with war paint on both arms, which it can open and close. It also has an orange-yellow, elongated body.
In addition to the four contributions that Pokémon GO has published on their Twitter account regarding the new generation, there is also a first video about the Alola Season on YouTube, which shows more Pokémon.

The video initially shows a postcard with the inscription “From Alola… To you!”. Then follows an insight into the Alola region, showcasing various monsters. Thus, the following Pokémon might be present in the new season besides those mentioned above:
How do you find the insights into the upcoming monsters of the Alola region? Which is your favorite? And which Pokémon from the 7th generation would you like to see in the new season? Feel free to share your opinion here on MeinMMO in the comments and exchange ideas with other trainers.
Watch out, Harry Potter! In his gamer youth, MeinMMO author Michael posed as the most powerful and darkest wizard and turned the MMO Habbo Hotel upside down.
Some players might describe Habbo Hotel as a strange MMO where ICQ chatting meets Pokémon graphics. I, on the other hand, perceive it as an incredibly funny original version of today’s roleplays. A good example of this is my time as Voldemort, which was somewhere between my career with the Mafia and my job as a company CEO.
You must understand one thing about Habbo Hotel: it is free, and nobody has to spend money to have fun. However, anyone who wants to climb the ranks in the game’s society, have power and influence, and hang out at every important party needs in-game objects and fluff. For that, one has to reach into their pockets.
So, convinced free players like me had nothing else to do but hang out somewhere or work their way up with small jobs in one of the many genre worlds. And in the many Hogwarts, you are just a student and need to go to class, which I wasn’t interested in. Instead, I created a Lord Voldemort character to troll people a bit.
Thanks to the many furnishings and creativity, everything can be created in Habbo Hotel, including Hogwarts. Source: Twitter/@Jeri_mu
What was supposed to be a joke escalated immediately
My dark career ended quite quickly: I walked through the entrance hall of a random Hogwarts and was discovered by two supervisors who immediately threw me out. It was just meant to be fun, so that was enough for me. However, a few players from the entrance hall sent me friend requests and wanted to know what the dark Lord would plan next.
Apparently, they had only been waiting for a leader like me. “Not much,” I replied, since I owned neither money nor buildings. One of my followers couldn’t let that stand and promptly offered me his room, complete with stylish wizard furniture. And I went for it, so I organized a meeting with my ten followers and showcased the dark Lord.
“I am disappointed in you. Hogwarts is completely intact and no one fears the Death Eaters,” I typed in all capital letters in the chat to yell at them. “Sorry, Master,” they replied meekly in chorus. I won’t lie; it was pretty cool. I established a dress code for us, sent people to spy, and explained to them that we needed to attack the Hogwarts from which I had originally been thrown out.
This is roughly what my first meeting with my Death Eaters looked like. Source: Twitter/@BewitchedGDR
The revenge is mine!
Funny enough, this Hogwarts had also long been waiting for a serious threat. I didn’t even have an idea of how we should break in, but already the headmistress wanted to talk to me in her luxurious office. What would she have to do to prevent the attack? I had no idea and suggested that dark magic should be treated more broadly in the curriculum. She agreed to that.
However, that didn’t happen: No sooner had I left the office than a few Slytherins approached me and pledged their loyalty. Moreover, they offered to sneak my crew in through a back door in their common room. A good idea that I wouldn’t have come up with myself. In Habbo Hotel, it is impossible to break into rooms if you are not the owner of the rooms or do not have permissions transferred for those rooms.
With about fifteen Death Eaters, I entered the common room and sent my people to the other wings to cause chaos. Just like in the movie! However, since Habbo Hotel is a peaceful game, you have to roleplay and improvise a bit when it comes to violence. Spells, for example, are typed in through the chat and hopefully not quickly countered by a counterspell. Destruction can only be caused by people with permission – my loyal Slytherins, for example – throwing furniture around, which they did. Oh, cleaning it up would take so long! I let some epic battle soundtrack play in the background.
Ah, this peaceful and boring Hogwarts life: I just had to turn it upside down for one night. Source: RaGEZONE.
The strange endof my reign
Even though we had imagined the attack quite well, it did not proceed well coordinated. My people were a bunch that was hardly controllable, playing pranks, suddenly having private conversations with friends, or even switching sides in the middle and thus being severely punished by us. Despite heavy losses, we were able to destroy a few rooms and take out a few teachers – and we also caught a few Harrys.
In the last duel, I faced the headmistress and a huge crowd of students, against whom, of course, I quickly drew the short straw and capitulated. Many players were expelled from the school, and I was captured. But there was a silver lining: I got to see the entire interior that many students didn’t get to see during their entire school time. Really not bad and really not cheap.
So, what did they want to do with me? I had caused a huge chaos, but on the other hand, it was also extremely funny. From the founding of my clan to the attack to this tribunal held in front of all the teachers specifically for me – I had the most fun in Habbo ever. When reading the truly harsh sentence (sixfold execution!), the headmistress suddenly decided to spin the game in a completely different direction. “We cannot destroy him. Because he is my father.”
If you’re interested in more player stories, you might also find this interesting:
Um … okay, I wasn’t prepared for that, and I found the peace offering to work as a teacher for the dark arts at Hogwarts somehow too peaceful. The execution would have been cooler. So I decided to end my reign of terror and hand over all power to my successor, who, as I later heard, also didn’t last long.
A new co-op game called Project F4E has been announced on Steam. It will mix MMORPGs, MOBAs, and Roguelites to create a game that promises thousands of build possibilities and thousands of hours of gameplay. We at MeinMMO will introduce it to you in more detail.
What kind of game is it? In Project F4E, you complete dungeons and bosses together with other players in co-op. For each mission, you choose a hero from many, all of whom have different abilities that you need to level up.
You play in isometric perspective like in LoL. It also visually resembles the MOBA.
You use abilities with Q, W, E, and R.
With the different heroes, various abilities, and equipment that you can earn, there are supposed to be “thousands of builds”.
The enhancements are supposed to be permanent for the respective hero.
The dungeons will be randomly generated, which should lead to a high replay value.
The missions are supposed to be “alive”, and allies and enemies will have their own agendas that can change over the course of the game.
Will there be PvP? Yes. Although the developers talk about the “future of friendly co-op games”, there is at least one mode where you play simultaneously with another group. In this mode, bosses will give you points, and whoever reaches 100 points first wins the match.
You can get a first glimpse of the idea and gameplay of Project F4E in this trailer:

Game hosts first playtests, reminiscent of Project V by former Riot developers
In what state is the game? Currently, Project F4E is in a pre-alpha stage. However, there were the first playtests in February. You can apply for future tests on Steam (via Steam).
Who is developing the game? Project F4E is being developed by BetaDwarf, an indie developer who has already released the co-op games FORCED: Slightly Better Edition (74% positive reviews on Steam) and Minion Masters (91% positive reviews on Steam).
When will Project F4E be released? No release date has been stated yet. There is also no statement regarding the future payment model.
The new raid for patch 9.2 in World of Warcraft is coming. In the Mausoleum of the First, you will face 11 bosses, which are the last for now in Shadowlands. Two experts have already thought about which classes will deal particularly high DPS.
Who are the experts? Tettles and Dratnos are authors of the large WoW fan page WoWhead. There, just before the release of the new raid, they gave their first assessment.
The two experts work outside of WoWhead as content creators for WoW, partly for e-sports teams. Their opinion is appreciated by many community members, both in the English-speaking world and internationally.
How do the experts arrive at the ranking? According to their own statements, the two have extensively played the new patch 9.2 on the public test realm. During this, they also prepared for the raid and observed which classes are particularly strong.
Thus, they can assess who has the edge and which class performs worse. The specializations are divided into tiers S to F.

What should I pay attention to? Basically, you should not just focus on the “best possible” class. If a specialization is extremely strong but does not suit you at all, your performance will suffer as well. If you are not absolutely dependent on progress, it is best to play what you are good at and what you enjoy.
This list is also only a preliminary assessment by the experts. How well the classes will actually perform later remains to be seen. There will likely be balance patches and adjustments that will shuffle the rankings.
On MeinMMO you find the current DPS list for WoW with the real numbers of active players, which we will then update as soon as possible. Those who want to see concrete numbers now can check out the first simulations.
These are the strongest classes according to calculations: The website simulationcraft regularly calculates how much damage is mathematically possible with classes in World of Warcraft. Due to the new equipment such as tier sets and more, the currently strongest classes (as of February 28) are:
Enhancement Shaman – 18,425 DPS
Elemental Shaman – 17,503 DPS
Balance Druid – 17,436 DPS
Fury Warrior – 17,319 DPS
Frost Mage – 17,255 DPS
In the simulation, various covenants for the classes as well as tank specializations are also listed. However, keep in mind that these are calculations without errors, so the numbers are nothing more than a mathematical guideline.
The numbers differ quite significantly from the experts’ assessments and do not take mechanics into account but calculate pure “dummy fights”. You can find the full list on simulationcraft.org.
What else is in the new patch? For preparing for the raid, you can farm reputation in the new patch and prepare to wear a second legendary. On MeinMMO you can find 3 things you should do in the new patch.
If you are less interested in the new raid, you can also enjoy the story of patch 9.2. The new area Zereth Mortis offers a campaign, world quests, and much to explore. For MeinMMO demon Cortyn is a welcome “Wildstar update”.
Usually, WoW expansions receive three major content updates. However, there will not be a patch 9.3. As with Warlords of Draenor, the addon comes with only two updates.
Fans speculate that this is a “pull cord” to quickly bring the controversial story to an end. However, the chief says that this has always been planned:
In early 2022, the MMORPG Guild Wars 2 will receive its new expansion “End of Dragons.” In this article, we at MeinMMO reveal what is known so far about the release, the setting, and generally the new content.
What’s in End of Dragons? The new expansion for Guild Wars 2 is set to be released in early 2022 and will bring several new features:
It takes place in the region of Cantha, already known from Guild Wars 1. 4 new areas have already been confirmed.
In the story, we will encounter the dragon Kuunavang, also known from Guild Wars Factions. Additionally, the Aetherblades from Guild Wars 2 will play a role, and the voice actor for Mai Trin has already been introduced.
There will be new elite specializations for each class, giving each class a new trait line.
New features include: a 2-player mount, fishing, and sailing.
There will be new strike missions, which will also include new rewards and a challenge mode each.
Although the name suggests otherwise, the expansion will not represent the end of the story in Guild Wars 2.
Throughout the article, we will take a closer look at all the announced new features and also tell you more about the pre-order bonuses and the upcoming beta events.
A little sneak peek at the content of End of Dragons can be found in the trailer for the expansion:

The pre-order packages at a glance.
The Story of End of Dragons
What happens in the story? The story of Guild Wars 2 revolves around dealing with the 6 Elder Dragons. These dragons consume the magic of the world in a regular cycle, destroying the world of Tyria, leading to the extinction of races and cultures.
As indicated by the trailer, during the expansion, we will encounter the dragon lady Kuunavang. She has already helped players in Guild Wars 1 Factions to deal with the threat there. Although she is not directly related to the Elder Dragons, she may play a crucial role in the fight against them.
Currently, it is speculated that the Deep Sea Dragon resides in Cantha – the new continent of the expansion – or on the way there. This dragon is the only unknown Elder Dragon at the moment. It’s quite possible that we will somehow fight against him in the expansion.
Interestingly, in connection with the trailer, the second mysterious voice belongs to neither the player character nor the dragon Aurene. Who is behind it remains unknown for now. Additionally, the developers promised that some story questions from GW2 will be resolved. It is already known that we will meet the Aetherblades.
In Cantha, technology also plays an important role. The trailer repeatedly mentions “progress” and that other cultures “live in the past.” Somehow, this technology seems to be related to the dragons.
Maps and Gameplay Innovations in End of Dragons
What do we know about the new maps? We now know that there will be a total of 4 new areas:
The maps are expected to feel completely new and like a vacation island. They should be peaceful but also dangerous, depending on which part of the map you are in. A large lake and the gigantic trees are expected to play an important role. Verticality is present, as well as “general freedom” in movement, whatever that may mean in the end.
Kappas, Nagas, and other familiar creatures from Guild Wars 1 are expected to be found again in Cantha. In general, the maps are said to have evolved, but there will be significant points that veterans should recognize immediately.
An insight into the game world was provided by the first gameplay scenes shown during the presentation livestream:
2-Player Mount: Siege Turtle
What will the new mount be? With End of Dragons, the new Siege Turtle will come into play. This is a mount on which two players can ride. The mount will be unlocked through a new mastery and is meant to assist beginners in exploring the game world. Because even players with low levels can directly hop onto the mount.
The developers also revealed that both players can do something with the mount. While the owner controls it, the second player can fight from the mount.
What other new masteries are there? Besides the Siege Turtle, there will be 4 more masteries introduced with End of Dragons. We already know two of them; two more are still unknown.
The first highlight is fishing. There will be over 200 different species of fish that you can catch in the world of Tyria. Included are goldfish, carp, and catfish among other creatures. Fishing is not limited to Cantha, but can be performed in all waters.
In Guild Wars 2, you will soon be able to fish.
The second novelty is sailing. You will get your first boat by completing a special heart on the new maps. This skiff can then be used anywhere in the world. Both you and your group (maximum 5 players) can board the ship.
While sailing, the owner can steer the boat, while the other players can perform various emotes or switch places. Additionally, the ships are excellent for fishing when stationary.
The skiffs, like mounts or gliding, will have a specific mastery that you can level up to unlock new functions, such as a speed boost, more hit points for your boat, or a boost for fishing.
Further insights into fishing and ships will be provided in the official Guild Chat on the subject:

For fans of instanced content, new strike missions have been announced. In these, 10 players will fight in a small instance, generally featuring a stronger boss. These bosses are said to be strongly interwoven with the story of End of Dragons in the new strike missions.
With the new strike missions, new rewards and challenge modes will also come. Each new strike mission will have such a challenge mode, where the bosses will not only have more health and damage but will also gain new abilities. These challenges are designed for experienced player groups.
Along with End of Dragons comes a new guild hall located in the old Shing Jea Arena from Guild Wars 1. The conquest will occur as usual, but the scaling has been adjusted. You will mainly encounter larger enemies and fewer small mobs.
The focus of the new hall will be the many water surfaces and the very open style, allowing guilds to unleash their decorations.

The New Elite Specializations
Are there new elite specializations? Yes, with End of Dragons, every class will receive a new elite specialization. So far, the Mesmer, the Necromancer, and the Guardian have been introduced.
The Mesmer will get a dagger and lose its clones, becoming the

The current leaks from Genshin Impact seem to go back to Patch 3.1. They involve the new character Yelan and other upcoming characters. Additionally, there is supposed to be a specific release patch introducing the Dendro element and the area of Sumeru into the game. MeinMMO reveals what the leakers report.
First a note: Leaks can always turn out to be false. Furthermore, they may differ significantly from the official release. Please read this information with caution. If anyone does not want spoilers, they should not scroll further.
Update from February 28: Several sources report that the character Heizou wields the Anemo element (via reddit).
How long is the current patch series expected to last? Data extraction revealed that Patch 2.8 is supposed to be the last of the 2.X series. After that, it will probably proceed with 3.0 and higher (via reddit).
Since the Great Divide is supposed to be introduced in Patch 2.6 in Genshin Impact, it is likely that with 3.0, Sumeru will be introduced as a new large area in the game. The Great Divide is supposed to be the link between the current areas and Sumeru.
In addition, Sumeru brings not only a huge new explorable area but also the new Dendro element.
According to the leaker Project Celestia, code names for new elemental reactions have already appeared in the 2.4 beta: “Overgrown” and “Intensified” (via Twitter). Since Dendro is based on a plant element, it is likely that the reactions belong to the Dendro element.
Dendro Slimes can execute attacks that deal damage over time to the character. Future Dendro characters may possess similar skills.
Additionally, there is a reddit post that has already been deemed questionable by its creator, yet such posts have often turned out to be true in the past, which is why we want to share the information with you:
Dendro cannot be swirled.
Dendro and Electro are supposed to reduce enemies’ defense together.
The element is meant to help boost elemental mastery.
Dendro enemies are always affected by the Dendro element and react with Hydro as the highest priority.
Dendro and Hydro interact such that the Hydro application is removed afterward. So, freezing is not supposed to be possible.
What does Yelan look like? Yelan (via reddit) and her signature weapon “Kirin” bow (via reddit) have already been leaked. According to reports, she is supposed to be a 5-star character and wield the Hydro element.
Here is her render:

This information confirms a leak that was previously also deemed very questionable (via reddit). According to this reddit post and the leaker UBatcha, Yelan and the new 4-star character named Shinobu are supposed to receive a banner in Patch 2.7 (via Twitter). So far, however, there is no further information about Shinobu’s appearance.
All that is known is that she is the sidekick of Arataki Itto and the delegate of the Arataki Gang. Shinobu ensures that Itto and his gang do not end up in prison.
Which characters are still mentioned? Many fans are still waiting for the reliable detective from Inazuma: Heizou. He works for Sara Kujou and seems to be someone who is hard to get along with. Furthermore, he is supposed to look quite young and is said to be shorter than Xiao (via reddit), however, no image of him has been leaked yet.
According to Ubatcha, he may come in Patch 2.8 and is supposed to be a 4-star character (via Twitter). This was also confirmed by Uncle DD, who announced a male character for 2.8 or 3.0 (via reddit).
Additionally, a small Dendro girl is supposed to come to Genshin Impact as soon as Patch 3.1 is released. Many speculate that it could be Yaoyao, who has been part of the leaks since Patch 1.4. The Dendro element can even be seen on the basket on her back in the tweet.

According to Uncle DD’s leak, the archipelago is supposed to return in Patch 2.8. Last, the secret islands could be visited in Patch 1.6, which featured a variety of events and exploration opportunities.
Furthermore, Diluc and Fischl are each expected to receive a skin (via reddit). However, when that will happen has not yet been announced.
Finally, we would like to remind you of the leak from UBatcha, who stated that a feature is to be implemented in mid-2022 that allows players to obtain weapons and possibly even characters from the standard banner without having to spend money: Genshin Impact supposedly brings a change to earn old characters without gacha.
What do you think about all the leaks concerning Genshin Impact? Do you know of any more leaks, or did you know as much as we do? Feel free to let us know in the comments.

The first boss of Elden Ring is quite a tough challenge. MyMMO explains in this guide how you can defeat him more easily.
As with most FromSoftware games, Elden Ring is a challenging game and this is particularly evident in boss fights. Therefore, newcomers may face issues at the start. That’s why we provide you with a guide for the first boss fight.
Essentially, it’s hard to say what the actual first boss in Elden Ring is. Because you can approach the game in different sequences. However, if you proceed chronologically, Margit, the Cruel Fate, is considered the first boss of Elden Ring.
What kind of boss is he? You will encounter him in the first major legacy dungeon of Elden Ring, the Stormveil Castle.
After you have overcome the main gate and fought your way to the back of the castle, you will come across a bridge leading over an abyss. Margit is waiting for you there.
This is a difficult opponent. Margit is fast, large, and uses powerful attacks that can present serious challenges for you.
The boss is designed to test all the basic mechanics of the game. So it is a true test, especially for newcomers.
However, there are some useful tricks you can apply against him to significantly ease the fight. These can easily be overlooked. If you are sensitive to spoilers and the revelation of hidden things, you should jump straight to the combat tips.
[toc]
This is Margit, the Cruel Fate.
Helpful item and Ash spirits help you in battle
What you can do to make the fight easier: There are various means to prepare for the fight. Make sure you have enough potions for your health points and FP.
If you are not playing a class that has spells, make sure to distribute your healing flasks at a rest point and only take those that regenerate health points. Which classes have spells and are suitable for you can be found in our guide: The best classes for beginners, intermediates, and experts
Also, make sure to upgrade your weapon at the blacksmith in the church to +3 to increase your damage. But aside from general tips, there are also two particularly useful tricks:
Margit’s Chain helps you in battle
What does this item do? With Margit’s Chain, you can bind the boss. Using the item, you can hold him for a few seconds. These are valuable windows of time to deal damage to him.
If any of you have played Bloodborne, you probably remember the boss fight against Gascoigne. There was also such an item to make the fight significantly easier.
How to find the item:
Get the item “Margit’s Chain.” To do this, you need to find the Murky Cave.
This cave is located almost directly to the east of the boss in the gorge. Enter it and turn immediately to the right. Be careful not to trigger any traps.
Continue until you find a chest and open it. You will now be attacked by an NPC. Fight him and spare him when he reaches about 75% health points. Leave the dungeon and return; the NPC will now sell you the chain for 5000 runes.
Summon spirits and the NPC
Before the boss fight, you have the opportunity to summon the wizard Rogier as support for the fight. To do this, you need to use a Curved Medicine in front of the boss area. Now the summoning symbol should light up on the ground.
Additionally, you can summon Ash spirits while you are in the fight. These are spirits of enemies that you can now summon for support. However, you will need a Summoning Bell for this.
You can find it in the church, right in the starting area where you also might have encountered the first merchant.
You should have already received your horse by this time and should now find an NPC there:
Renna, the witch. She gives you the necessary item for the summons.
From her, you will receive the item to use the ashes of enemies for summoning. You can find an ash of the wolf pack directly in the ruins in front of the gate, near where you also received your horse.
On page 2, we will now get to the actual boss fight.

In Pokémon GO, the release of Gen 7 from the Alola region is imminent. This was officially confirmed by the team at Niantic. We will show you the information.
What’s new? On February 27, Niantic announced the arrival of Alola Pokémon with a short video. Shortly before, data miners had already found clues that the release of the new Pokémon from Generation 7 is approaching.
When is Generation 7 coming? Niantic officially states: “More Pokémon from the Alola region known from Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will appear soon in Pokémon GO! During the Alola season, a wealth of events featuring the various Pokémon making their debut in Pokémon GO will be available for three months!”
This is the reason: The Pokémon GO team is celebrating the arrival of new Pokémon from the Alola region. To celebrate, they are spawning many Alola Exeggutor in the wild.
Screenshot from February 27 at 4:15 PM in Pokémon GO
Keep in mind that you can also catch Alola Exeggutor in its shiny form. So take advantage of this opportunity while they are still spawning so frequently. Maybe you can secure one or more specimens.
What do we know about Generation 7?
This was found: A few days ago, data miners reported that there were changes in the code. Something regarding the monsters of Generation 7 was altered, hinting at their release.
What do the Pokémon look like? On reddit user neko_13 showcased a list of the Pokémon with their English names a few years ago at the release of Generation 7. We show you the gallery here:

Since the major update of Destiny 2 not only new content has been added to the game, but existing things have also been modified. We are talking about Gambit, the notorious PvEvP mode of the Drifter. MeinMMO author Christos Tsogos tried the refreshed mode and has a personal opinion on it.
Gambit was an unprecedented mode in Destiny 2. The fight against adds combined with a touch of PvP appealed to many at the launch of the Season of the Drifter. So it was a shame when many aspects of the new mode were later rotated out of the game.
Bungie removed the ‘Gambit Prime’ mode, rendered the associated weapons and armor mostly useless, and devoted almost as little love to it as to the Crucible.
For a long time, one had to be satisfied with the normal Gambit mode. Even I, as a long-time player who has embraced Gambit, could no longer see the Primeval at some point. It was always the same mode each season without innovations or adjustments. But with Witch Queen, Bungie brought the Drifter on board and made new plans for the future.
The days when the Primeval was melted in one round are over, and that’s a good thing. I missed strategy in the Gambit mode. Every player who could understand a bit about DPS would take the Primeval down mindlessly. That was no longer fun and drove me away from the Drifter.
However, with Witch Queen, I wanted to give the newly revamped mode another chance. The result that Bungie ultimately delivered pleasantly surprised me.
Finally, there are meaningful optimizations
Like the ammo crates that spawn after each encounter. The heavy ammo drop before Witch Queen was a joke. At the end of a round, one would suddenly face the boss, without ammunition, only to then try to deal damage with the auto rifle at a snail’s pace. But now, every player is presented with a crate that restores part of your ammo. This boosts add-clear and keeps the invaders happy.
The Primeval boss fight has also been revised. Now, rampaging Titans have no chance of sending the boss to the beyond with four Thundercrashes. In each damage phase, Guardians are forced to eliminate the Envoys first.
Nice particles to deliver, that’s what the Drifter wants
They grant their master an immortal shield after each damage phase. No matter how many bullets you want to press into the boss, he will enter the immunity phase. As if that weren’t enough, an invader comes along in every damage phase trying to eliminate you. Don’t think you can get him out of his spawn, as his position is now always random.
This mix of tension and strategy was missing in Gambit. It’s no longer about quickly mowing down the boss, but about efficiently and strategically winning the fight.
Defeats are now really bitter
Despite the cool and new mode, defeats are also more devastating. If a clean game is not achieved, the stress level rises tremendously. It is advisable to continue playing with a harmonizing team in the new Gambit, assigning the typical Gambit roles in advance.
The old designations of the Drifter are well-suited for this, such as the Collector, the Reaper, the Invader, and the Lawless, who guards the bank and kills blockers.
You can, however, slip out of your role if needed. For example, if two blockers are sitting on your bank, quick action is required. It definitely saves you time if you have a reliable invader who has equipped the right loadout. A Guardian with enough firepower to quickly eliminate blockers or a duo that quickly clears adds and collects the particles.
It’s exactly these setups that matter in the new Gambit. That’s why defeats feel even more bitter after a long fight than the familiar matches in the old Gambit. If that weren’t enough, the persistent invader with his Gjallarhorn is also a thorn in the side.
In almost every damage round of the Primeval, the portal to invade opens. If you can’t eliminate the invader quickly enough, he can ruin your entire plan.
Nevertheless, the “new” Gambit mode is a cool refreshment. But Bungie is not stopping there. They also plan to bring labs into the PvEvP mode. This means that Guardians may experience even more variety over time.
What do you think of the new Gambit? Have you set foot in the mode or are you fed up with it? Let us know in the comments.

Traveling in Zereth Mortis, the new area in World of Warcraft, is stressful when you want to reach a specific destination quickly. We give you 3 tips to make it much better.
Zereth Mortis is a significantly larger area than many players initially suspected. This not only provides more opportunities to explore and discover things but also leads to frustration. As soon as a specific “Rare Spawn” is marked on the map, players rush in from all directions.
However, it often leads to frustration when the rare enemy dies just before you can reach it. Currently, flying is not possible in Zereth Mortis, and travel routes are consequently exhausting. Therefore, it’s worth knowing a few tricks to travel quickly and efficiently through Zereth Mortis and be able to engage the one or other rare enemy before it meets its end.
The colleagues from wowhead have compiled several methods for fast travel, which we will explain in more detail.
Silver Shardhide Whistle
The “Silver Shardhide Whistle” is a toy that you could originally obtain in Korthia. Even there, it was essential for traversing large distances at lightning speed. The whistle grants you a speed boost for 20 seconds, allowing you to compete even with epic flying mounts. For 20 seconds, you dash through the area, generally moving so fast that enemies can’t even catch up to you.
After the first 20 seconds, the effect diminishes, and you move at normal speed, so you should switch back to a regular mount. Usually, the speed boost is sufficient to cover about 1/3 of Zereth Mortis in just a few seconds, allowing you to partake in the kill of one or more enemies.

How to get the Silver Shardhide Whistle? To obtain this item, you must solve a small puzzle in Korthia. This takes less than 5 minutes and is well worth the time investment, as the whistle will serve you well in Zereth Mortis for several days. This guide explains how exactly you can get the Shardhide Whistle.
Goblin Glider Kit
The last item is the “Goblin Glider Kit”. This is especially a must-have for exploration fans, and every character should have at least one stack of them in their inventory.
The Goblin Glider Kit allows you to jump from heights and then travel at an incredible speed during your glide. The prerequisite is, of course, that you jump from an elevated spot. Given the many elevation changes in Zereth Mortis, this is easily achievable.
At the same time, you can already use the Goblin Glider Kit to reach the eastern part of Zereth Mortis, where the raid entrance is located. While you cannot enter the raid yet, there are more treasures on the island waiting to be looted – which yields many Cipher of the First and even a toy that allows you to transform into an Automa.
How to obtain Goblin Glider Kits? Goblin Glider Kits can be crafted by engineers who were active in Warlords of Draenor. In most realms, the kits only cost a few gold pieces, so you should find them in the auction house – otherwise, you’ll need an engineer you trust.
Traveling is very fast with the glider.
Gunshoes
Similar to the Goblin Glider, the “Gunshoes” have a similar effect. They increase your movement speed by a whopping 200 % for 25 seconds – so you are faster than on an epic mount. In addition, the Gunshoes grant water walking during their duration, though this isn’t relevant in Zereth Mortis.
How to obtain Gunshoes? Gunshoes are also available from your trusted engineer or in the auction house. Depending on the realm, the price can vary, and they are usually significantly more expensive than the Goblin Gliders. Therefore, they are more suitable as a bonus if you are an engineer yourself or want to be the first person to arrive everywhere.

If you’re running from A to B all day in Zereth Mortis, you might forget about the three flight points. These are the fastest travel methods to get from west to east (and vice versa).
Currently, there are only 3 active flight points in Zereth Mortis that you need to activate. Keep in mind that these are machines and not your typical “flight masters”. Simply click on all 3 machines when you are nearby to utilize these shortcuts in the future.
Do you have any further tips and tricks to get quickly to the most important places in Zereth Mortis?
