The streamer ItsPinkie was banned by Twitch when she wanted to test the “new guidelines.” She held bikini streams and planned to do so for the entire week. Twitch seems to have put a stop to that.
Who is the streamer?
Despite having 48,900 followers and the Twitch partner status, ItsPinkie is considered one of the smaller streamers. On average, around 60 people watch her.
She usually smokes in her streams and shows people how to roll the perfect joints. Her YouTube channel often revolves around joints and drugs as well.
The streamer often presents herself relatively revealing and even dances occasionally on a pole dancing pole.
On May 4th, she announced on Twitter that she was banned after trying out the “new guidelines” on Twitch.
Another quirky story from Twitch can be seen in our video:
Start video
What happened when Twitch appointed a woman to the security council who behaved like a deer
ItsPinkie received her 5th ban
Why was the streamer banned? She wrote on Twitter:
Lol, I planned to do bikini streams for the rest of the week to see if the new Twitch guidelines would get me banned. It turned out to be true! I’ve been banned for 3 days now.
ItsPinkie
What “new guidelines” was the streamer talking about? That’s the question, as Twitch has no new guidelines regarding revealing clothing on streams. The rule still stands: bikinis and swimsuits are okay on beaches and near pools, but not in the home.
The platform even introduced a corresponding category, which some streamers criticize: “Pools, Hot Tubs & Beaches.”
However, it seems the bikini may have been a bit too revealing, as a user commented under her tweet: “(…) I was concerned that your bikini shows too much (…).” Whether the streamer was also in her 1-room apartment and not at a pool or beach, we cannot say at this point.
It is therefore suspected that she was banned for sexual content and nudity.
Why did the streamer receive further bans? ItsPinkie probably caused the most stir by farting from her genital area. In a stream, she proudly showed how she could control this and held the microphone close. Here’s a clip of it, but it may not be to everyone’s liking:
When the clip went viral, Twitch banned the streamer.
Furthermore, it often happened that ItsPinkie appeared too revealing and was banned because of her outfits. Usually, the bans only lasted a few hours or days before she was allowed to stream again. And in this case, she can go live again after 3 days.
In World of Warcraft , allegations have arisen against Method, the arguably most well-known guild in WoW. Although it is now prohibited, Method is said to operate cross-server boosting to earn enough gold to finance their expensive “Race to World First” attempts. In the current raid, Method placed second – hence the matter is so sensitive.
What kind of guild is this?
Method was founded in 2005 by Scott “Sco” McMillian. The guild is based in London: In WoW, e-sport mainly involves raiding for the “World First” kills of bosses. The race is extremely demanding and requires a lot from the participants . In this “Race to World First” (RWF), Method was a leading team for years.
The guild suffered a setback in 2020: it was revealed that there were accusations of rape against one of their players, which the guild leadership did not pursue with the necessary urgency. This led to many distancing themselves from Method, resulting in the guild breaking apart.
Method allegedly continued to boost despite the ban
What is Method accused of? As a user reports on reddit (via reddit), Method is said to still offer so-called “boosting runs” cross-server by collaborating with a boosting community.
The user has pursued his suspicion with detective zeal, gathering evidence and screenshots that support his accusation (via google.doc).
In a “boosting run”, a coordinated team takes a “passenger” into a raid, thus providing them with rewards they normally would not have access to. In return, “the passenger” pays with gold in World of Warcraft – or maybe with real money, it is rumored.
The accusation is that Method continues to collaborate with a well-known boosting community, even though these communities were explicitly banned by Blizzard. Although “boosting” in WoW is still allowed, it must not happen cross-server, meaning it cannot be operated on a large scale, but rather treated as a hobby.
It is said that this “booster community” has advanced Method their enormous gold expenses for the last “Race to World First” and that the guild now has to repay their debts by boosting others.
A new add-on is coming soon for WoW – it is supposed to bring the MMORPG back to its former heights:
Start video
Everything you need to know about the new WoW expansion “Dragonflight” in 3 minutes
Blizzard specifically banned this in January 2022
What is the problem? A heated discussion in WoW in recent months has explicitly revolved around such “cross-server boosting communities.” They were ultimately banned by Blizzard intentionally in January 2022, also because they flooded the trade channels with their spam.
These communities are seriously suspected of being more about commercial interests than about playing.
If the accusations against Method are true, then they have not adhered to Blizzard’s ban by collaborating with such a community:
The frustrating thing is that it appears as if Blizzard is a “toothless tiger” that enacts rules but does not enforce them.
On the other hand, if the accusations are true, the guild has gained a significant advantage in the “World First” race by doing something that is actually forbidden. This would distort the competition. Method would earn their gold more efficiently than competitors who would then have to invest more time because they adhere to the rules.
Method would violate this ban if all of this is true.
Guilds incur debts in the race for World First
Why are they doing this? A “World First” race is extremely expensive for a guild because they have to be optimally prepared for each attempt in the raids; they need potions and perfect items to optimally gear several twinks. Reports suggest that Method has spent around 480 million gold. That corresponds to 37,000 € if one were to buy that gold for real money.
All of this consumes vast sums of gold. The “strong guilds” apparently use such boosting runs to acquire the money. If they do this with the help of cross-server communities, it would ultimately be against Blizzard’s rules that other guilds adhere to.
What is now the question? The question is whether Blizzard really has a problem with these communities per se or whether Blizzard merely wanted to curb the spam in the public channels of WoW. Because the “boosting communities” seem to remain active; they have just moved their ads from the “trade channel in WoW” to Discord servers.
The cost of the race for World First can be seen in the example of Liquid:
Recently, Blizzard introduced its new mobile game “Warcraft: Arclight Rumble“. Reactions have been mixed, but Twitch streamer Asmongold explains why this game will be important for the company.
What is it about? After 19 years, Blizzard is presenting a new strategy game for Warcraft. With the title “Arclight Rumble”, they aim to reach the smartphones of their target audience. The gameplay sounds like a mix between tower defense and Clash Royale. A combination that might not appeal to everyone.
Despite the criticism, the biggest WoW streamer on Twitch, Asmongold, says that Arclight Rumble will generate a lot of money for the company, more than WoW and Diablo 3.
“I believe this could be a huge game”
What Asmongold says: From the presentation of the game, Asmongold showed himself impressed in his livestream. He believes the game could really be big and popular, making it very significant for the company Blizzard (via YouTube around 24 minutes into the VoD).
“The funny thing is, this game will probably make more money than WoW. I’m pretty sure this game will bring in more money than Diablo 3.” As an explanation, he emphasizes that mobile games print money.
“For each of you who says ‘Oh, this is so dumb, I hate it’, there are a few others out there who will invest $150 in the first week after the game’s release.”

What’s behind it? There is a huge market for mobile games. Especially free games, which then generate revenue through various types of microtransactions, are found in the top revenue positions.
An analysis by Sensor Tower shows the highest-grossing mobile games worldwide in March 2022:

Sensor Tower estimates that Tencent earned $272.4 million alone in March from Honor of Kings through player spending. PUBG Mobile, on the other hand, is said to have generated about $199.8 million in the same period, with a large share of users from China. Overall, mobile games are reported to have generated approximately $7 billion worldwide through the App Store and Google Store in March 2022, according to the analysis (via Sensortower.com).
So it’s not a big surprise that Asmongold predicts such a rosy future for the game.
Activision Blizzard announced in a quarterly report how much money they are making from in-game shops. In the earnings call on November 2, the company stated that, in the third quarter of 2021, they made a whopping $1.198 billion from microtransactions. The management of in-game shops is already established in the company and works in games such as World of Warcraft and CoD Warzone.
What do you all think? Will the game really be such a big hit for Blizzard that it will bring a lot of money to the company in the future, or has Arclight Rumble already flopped for you just by its presentation?
The MMORPG Rift strongly resembled World of Warcraft at release, and that was intentional. The goal was to take existing content and improve upon it. However, the game has been declining for several years. In early 2022, the first content patch in years was supposed to arrive – but players only received an old Battle Pass rehashed.
What is wrong with Rift?
Rift was released in 2011 as an MMORPG with a subscription model but could only lure a few players away from WoW. In 2012, it switched to free-to-play with an optional subscription, which was considered a very fair model for years.
There were regular updates and expansions, and the class system and events in the open world were often praised. The game had some fans and was considered “solid”, but it never reached blockbuster numbers.
However, “new content” for Rift was announced for the first quarter of 2022. But nothing happened until April.
Rift revives old Battle Pass – Where is the new content?
What is new now? On May 4, Rift received an update that brings back the Battle Pass from Season 1. This includes 30 levels through which you can earn consumables and artifacts. Those who purchase the paid version also gain access to cosmetic content such as the “Great Balls of Fire” mount.
However, these cosmetic contents were already available in 2019, in the first season of the Battle Pass. Those who have already purchased this do not benefit from the return.
It is also curious that the client shows that the Battle Pass runs from March 11 to August 15, but it was only activated now, on May 4. However, the official blog post also mentions August 15 as the end date.

How is the Battle Pass received? Players are waiting for a promised content update and are being presented with an old Battle Pass. Consequently, the reactions are quite negative.
Generally, there are only a few reactions to the announcement, such as in the Discord of Rift and on reddit. Interest in the MMORPG is generally low.
Is this the big new content? No. The developers already revealed on April 1 that the big content update for Rift has been postponed and will no longer arrive in Q1 2022 (via Rift).
When exactly the patch will come is still undecided. However, players of Rift have already been waiting for a new, major update since 2019. A few months hardly matters.
The return of the Battle Pass was even celebrated in its own video. It’s only the second video released on the YouTube channel since 2019:

Is it worth fighting for Rift? The MMORPG from Trion Worlds has some fans who appreciated Rift’s innovations:
You choose a base class and then have access to 8 different talent trees. You can combine three of these and play the class completely differently than your friends might.
In the open world, there are recurring events called Rifts, where players gather and fight together.
Although the MMORPG no longer achieves great revenue numbers, there is still a community that actively plays Rift. In the last 24 hours, there were still 240 players online at peak times on Steam (via SteamDB). Rift also offers its own client, where probably even more players are active.
Whether the major update can turn things around remains to be seen. So far, neither the content nor a release date is known. The return of the Battle Pass from Season 1 is certainly not met with much enthusiasm.
Would you wish for a rescue of Rift? Or is the game no longer interesting for you? Feel free to share in the comments.
One thing is for sure, we have to say goodbye to a once-popular MMORPG in 2022:
Doug “Censor” Martin is one of the most well-known active professionals in Call of Duty. Or at least he was. Because with just one text message, he lost his spot on the Boston Breach team to James “Clayster” Eubanks.
What is “Censor” known for?
Doug “Censor” Martin has been in the professional scene of Call of Duty for over 10 years. He played for the controversial FaZe Clan for a long time and competed in Call of Duty: Vanguard for Boston Breach.
He started early to build a YouTube channel on the side and is one of the biggest content creators, alongside “Scump”, who actively plays in the Call of Duty: League.
In his videos, he doesn’t just focus on professional gameplay, but also on personality from the start. He shows off his muscles, talks about his current girlfriends, and interacts with his viewers.
Outside of CoD, he gained notoriety for breaking up with his model girlfriend due to Call of Duty. Now he has received a rejection from Boston Breach and was replaced by another player.
“Clay” had reached out and wanted to join Censor’s team. Clayster recently parted ways with his team “NY Subliners” after being benched (via dexerto.com).
“I know you’re going to hate me for this. But it’s Clay. If it were anyone else, we wouldn’t be having this conversation. I’m sorry, Doug”.
Censor asks again: “Wait … did I just lose my entire team?” To which there was only a “They really want to play with Clay”.
Why is Censor considered a poser? He likes to show off his pumped-up muscles in his videos and has created a lot of content with his attractive girlfriends.
But especially the story surrounding his ex-girlfriend Yanet García gave him a certain reputation. She worked as a model at the time and was later often referred to in the USA as the “hottest weather girl in the world” (via thesun.uk). Through Playboy and Instagram, García became even more well-known.
Censor notably stated at the time that they broke up so he could focus more on Call of Duty.
In League of Legends, Andy “Reginald ” Dinh is actually a crazy success story. The 30-year-old is considered the mastermind behind the success of the biggest US team in LoL, ‘Team SoloMid’ – but this image is now completely destroyed. An insider report from the Washington Post paints a terrible picture of the workplace at ‘Team SoloMid’ and its CEO. He is said to fire people who ask him uncomfortable questions.
Who is it about?
Andy Dinh is the founder and boss of ‘Team SoloMid’, which is the most successful, and somehow also the coolest team in the USA in League of Legends. They also have the most money. Over the years, superstars of esports like Bjergsen, Dyrus, or Doublelift played for TSM. Just in June 2021, Reginald secured a mega deal with a crypto exchange worth $210 million for the team.
TSM has always been a crazy success story: The ‘gaming culture’ was internalized there, deeply rooted in gaming, shaping the entire culture with memes and a decidedly cool appearance. TSM was ‘the team that understood gaming’ and the success proved it right.
But for the past few months, the spirit at Team SoloMid has been warped: Many familiar faces have left the team, things are not going well in LoL, Riot opened an investigation against the boss, Andy Dinh, in January 2022, and now a really terrible report is emerging.
Insider report speaks of a “culture of terror” and toxic workplace
Where did the report get its sources? The Washington Post says they spoke with employees from TSM and Blitz, another company of Reginald. However, most employees want to remain anonymous because they fear retaliation from Dinh (via washingtonpost).
What are the accusations against Dinh? Dinh is said to have been moody and unpredictable. Those who opposed him were often fired within a few days. People were literally afraid to bring him bad news because he would get angry and berate people in front of others or even fire them, the Post’s report states.
An employee is fired for asking 2 questions that Reginald did not like
The Washington Post tells a story from March 2021. At that time, after the allegations against Dinh, a new employee for the HR department was hired, who seemed to truly want to make a difference and care about the employees’ concerns.
But just a few weeks after his hiring, he was already fired by Dinh. An employee says that during a meeting, Dinh explained why the person was fired:
Andy told the whole company that the person was fired because they asked a question he didn’t like. I think he then realized how stupid that sounded, so he added: Well, he asked two questions that I didn’t like. After that, no one had any more questions.
It is said that Dinh has created a culture of “fear” and “terror”.
It was almost absurd how many vice-presidents he had fired, often without any apparent reason. This led to projects constantly being derailed.
The showcase team in German LoL apparently has a completely different work culture:
Start video

At first it was great to work in esports – then came the burnout
What else is he accused of? At Team SoloMid, there is also said to be a horrible culture of only employing people as contractors, thus placing them at a disadvantage compared to permanent employees, although this is against California laws, which make this practice extremely difficult.
However, one of the sources says: Well, permanent employees could also be fired at the snap of a finger. So permanent employees did not have much security either.
An employee says he initially found it really exciting to work in esports. But that quickly faded:
At first, it was exciting when I was young and happy to work in esports. But the longer it went on, the more I felt the burnout and that I was getting more and more exhausted.
At some point, he then asked his boss if he wouldn’t get a permanent position, but he told him to go ahead and look for his luck on the open market. Sure, someone would find who could do his job for the money.
Reginald says: He is just passionate, driven, intense
What does Dinh say? Reginald himself says in a statement to the Washington Post:
I have extremely high expectations of myself and I share these high expectations with everyone I work with. I have zero tolerance for poor performance. I am intense, passionate, driven, and relentless in my passion to win – that is my nature. I set extremely high standards and when I feel someone is not meeting them, I am direct and clear with my feedback.
I admit: Looking back, my choice of words was too harsh and ineffective. I know I need to work on my communication, and I am working on how I talk to my team and my surroundings. I fully support the independent investigations that are already underway, and I will gladly follow any recommendations from the investigators.
What is behind this: This discussion has been going on for a while. It came up in November 2021 when Twitch streamer Doublelift made strong criticisms of Reginald and portrayed him as a ‘bully’ that no one wants to confront.
Probably the biggest critic of Reginald: This is Doublelift, a LoL legend.
It is interesting that the system apparently functioned reasonably well for over 13 years before it is now falling apart in 2022. Because it has long been known how difficult Dinh probably is to deal with. There are videos of him tearing apart professional players from his own team on camera (via youtube).
When things were ‘going well’, it was said: Dinh is just like that. He doesn’t mean it badly; he is just extremely ambitious and a gamer, bringing out the best in everyone. The videos cast a poor light, actually, everyone is good friends.
But in recent months, that seems to have completely flipped: practically all important people and key players have left TSM. Apparently, the ‘Reginald’ system has collapsed.
After the accusations from Doublelift and the current report, it is hard to see how this can continue.
Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler suffered a wrist injury during a past boxing event, which is turning out to be more severe than initially thought. He will most likely be unable to play properly for more than 8 weeks, as his hand and arm will likely be placed in a cast.
The details of his wrist injury:
During the past boxing event “The Great Fight Night”, Trymacs sustained a wrist injury. After 10 days, he went to the doctor and reported that everything was damaged: cartilage, joint, tendon, muscle, contusion. He couldn’t move his hand and had excruciating pain (via YouTube). However, it was initially said that Trymacs might be lucky and could be fit again in 2-3 weeks, but with bad luck, only after 6 weeks – that was on April 12.
On April 30, he posted a new update on YouTube where he mentioned that the wrist would need surgery. The disc was torn, and he would now not be able to do any sports for at least 6 months.
Now, on May 4, there was another update: Trymacs visited a specialist in hand surgery, who examined the wrist again. It seems they couldn’t see exactly what was damaged and would definitely have to operate on him. Since the radius might be loose and the disc damaged, it could even mean that holes would need to be drilled in the bones.
8 weeks in a cast would follow, and even then, he wouldn’t be able to start immediately and would first need to undergo physiotherapy.
What else did the streamer say? He seemed to be oscillating between anger and sadness. Trymacs wanted to get back to strength training instead of attending boxing practice 5 times a week; he was very much looking forward to it.
He was also aiming for a rematch against his rival MckyTV soon, but that might be postponed until winter. However, Trymacs is still unsure about this since his hand may never be as stable as before. He fears that he might sustain the same injury again.
You can watch the latest update from Trymacs here:

“Originally it was said: 10 days in a cast. However, if this is done, it will be 8 weeks in a cast. 8 weeks in a cast, the hand is stiff, only the fingertips are visible – 8 weeks not gaming. I know this has never happened in all the years I’ve been streaming and doing YouTube.”
Afterward, Trymacs asked his viewers what he could do if he couldn’t play for 8 weeks. Only mobile gaming would work, or he could let people play in his stream via remote control.
The injury is really bothering the streamer as he had already broken his collarbone during a football tournament before the boxing event, making him not fully functional.
Trymacs is making the most of the next few days and wants to progress in Valorant and Clash of Clans before being incapacitated for 8 weeks.
The Katana Bloody Streams has a controversial reputation in the community of Elden Ring. On one hand, it is one of the most popular weapons in the game, while on the other hand, many consider it far too powerful, especially in PvP. The Souls expert PeevePeeverson has now built a build to seriously challenge players using the Katana.
Why is Bloody Streams so powerful? The Katana primarily relies on bleed damage. This status effect is very powerful against most opponents in both PvE and PvP.
Additionally, Bloody Streams has a powerful ash of war that allows you to execute strong combos and defeat opponents in PvP with just a few hits. As a bonus, it inflicts extra fire damage alongside the physical base damage and the bleed effect.
The builds centered around the Katana have been dominating especially in PvP for some time. This makes it popular and hated in the community, as many use it while others criticize that most players only use this Katana.
The Souls expert and YouTuber PeevePeeverson has now shared a clip and a build on Twitter, which he created to show users of Bloody Streams that the meta weapon doesn’t provide much benefit.
“The Orphan” is a build against groups and Bloody Streams users, focusing on heavy weapons
What kind of build is this? Peeve refers to the build as a “group-hunting horror build” that is particularly suitable against users of Bloody Streams. This build is called “The Orphan” – the orphaned child. Accordingly, this build looks quite peculiar:

The main strengths are the high robustness of 628, which protects against status effects like bleed and frost, and 100 poise, allowing you to not be interrupted by the Katana’s skill.
Other popular weapons like the Naginata with Seppuku ash of war cannot compete with the build, according to Peeve.
Here are his equipment and attributes: In the clip, Peeve is at Rune level 167. Thus, he can invade all players from level 150, as the level range for invasions includes -10% and +10% of your level.
If you have never tried co-op or PvP and want to know more, you can watch our video on it:

Everything you need to know about the multiplayer in Elden Ring
Here is his build if you want to create this build at least somewhat:
Strength: 60
Mind: 18
Endurance: 43
Vigor: 73
Dexterity: 14
Intelligence: 9
Faith: 24 (+2 due to the helmet)
Arcane: 7
In fact, the build is unable to perform a quick dodge roll. You will therefore be relatively slow, which, given the high robustness and poise, is not a significant drawback.
Thanks to the Winged Crystal Tear, which he can use through the potion mix, he can significantly increase his equip load for 3 minutes. This time is usually more than enough for an invasion. You can find the Crystal Tear north of the capital Leyndell, right on a rock wall.
Here are his equipment pieces:
He wears the set of the dung eater, the armor of the curse. This is a very heavy armor with high poise and high robustness. You get this when you complete the NPC’s quest. By the way, you also unlock another ending with it.
For weapons, he uses Godfrey’s Axe in the left hand and the Infernal Prelate staff, which also received very good ratings in our tier list.
As talismans, he has equipped the Goat Talisman, the Claw Talisman, the Alexander Shard, and the Horn Charm Talisman.
For summons, he uses “Flame, grant me strength!” and Golden Barrier, his seal is the one of the Raging Flame.
For fallback, he also has the Spiral Shield in case he needs to parry.
Peeve claims to have taken out numerous surprised Bloody Streams players in one hit and that the build works fantastically against such weapons.
How is the build received? In the numerous tweets under the build, players express their happiness that there is an effective way to break the annoying Katana meta. At least partially.
Free_Man writes: “Thanks for showing that this game can be fun in PvP without following this bullshit meta.”
Peeve emphasizes here, however, that he has no problem with players primarily using meta weapons. In response to a player who no longer dares to play Bloody Streams because so many complain, he writes:
“Don’t worry too much. People complain anyway, no matter what you play, so just do your thing anyway.”
A YouTuber has called the Elden Ring community to submit a speedrun challenge to him. One of these attempts shows a player losing repeatedly to the easiest boss in the game for 1 hour. Now he is even a heroin the community.
YouTuber Amazing Chest, known for his videos on FromSoftware’s Souls games, launched a speedrun challenge in early April. His viewers were to send him videos where they should kill as many bosses as possible in one hour.
A would-be speedrunner attempted this challenge and submitted a video that caused some head-scratching. He failed 60 times at the boss right at the end of the supposedly easy tutorial.
However, this performance still impressed YouTuber Amazing Chest. The would-be speedrunner received a prize of €200 for an hour full of game-over screens, and is now even a hero in the community.
How bosses in Elden Ring turn players into community legends can be seen here:

A possible troll attempt was “still very inspiring”
What was the challenge about? “How many bosses can you defeat from a brand new save in one hour?” That was the question behind Amazing Chest’s speedrun challenge.
Over 150 players took on this challenge and submitted their videos. Motivation for this was also the prize money: a total of nearly €5,000 was awarded, including about €2,500 for the winner, as well as consolation prizes totaling €1,000.
There were few restrictive rules. Bugs and glitches were allowed, but the powerful sword of night and flame was not. The video that explains and summarizes this challenge can be seen here:

The tight race for first place takes up most of the video but is not the highlight. Instead, almost all comments revolve around the attempt by YungBreezyGawd.
While the winner managed to defeat a total of 39 bosses in one hour, YungBreezyGawd could only manage one: The Soldier Godrick.
This boss is completely forgotten by most players, as he is the final challenge of the easy tutorial. In fact, Soldier Godrick is just a completely normal NPC soldier, just like the ones you will defeat hundreds of times in Elden Ring’s open world.
But YungBreezyGawd struggles with this boss for an hour. He tries almost everything: blocking, dodging, running away, glitch attempts, but nothing works. With the hardest class in the game, the naked beggar, he repeatedly gets brutally beaten.
Why is the player rewarded? And although Amazing Chest doesn’t know if this video is a troll attempt or not, he found the effort “still very inspiring.” Because after an hour full of frustration and deaths, Soldier Godrick falls. And that even without YungBreezyGawd being hit himself.
That’s why Amazing Chest says: “If you [during this challenge] realized that you could do more than you thought possible, then that is – even if it sounds cheesy – very impressive in its own way.”
That’s why Amazing Chest rewards the would-be speedrunner with a consolation prize of nearly €200. And indirectly grants him a hero status in the community.

How does the community react? In response to Amazing Chest’s challenge and YungBreezyGawd’s submission, the Elden Ring community has started to venerate the would-be speedrunner in their own way.
As Kotaku reports, there are several examples on reddit and Twitter of players who are now pretending that Soldier Godrick is a real big deal. Self-deprecating comparisons to Malenia are being drawn, who is considered the hardest boss in Souls history even among experts.
So players are now boasting about beating the tutorial boss without buffs or OP builds. And that after well over 100 attempts. For this, they are being inundated with admiration and praise:

Whoever defeats Soldier Godrick, a basic enemy, is currently treated as a kind of gaming deity. And that just because a player shared a “bad” gameplay video.
“I think it’s great that people have rallied around YungBreezyGawd’s performance in the form of this meme,” Amazing Chest told Kotaku. “I love how the difficulty of this game brings us all together. That’s something I really appreciate about this community.”
This story shows how the difficulty of Elden Ring can bring the community together, regardless of skill level. Thus, even months after release, Elden Ring experts continually discover new things.
Since the world of this acclaimed action RPG is full of secrets and puzzles, we’ll tell you 7 things about the gameplay and story that you probably overlooked:
With the legendary Mega Raids, there is now for the first time in Pokémon GO the raid difficulty of level 6. Some players are happy about this, while others find it too tough. However, one thing bothers both factions.
What’s new? Since the launch of the Air Event, there are legendary Mega Raids for the first time. Previously, you could participate in Mega Raids, but without legendary Pokémon. The debut of Mega Latios and Mega Latias was a big deal in the community. With the new bosses, the difficulty has also increased.
Some trainers complain that the raids are way too hard. However, another part says: The difficulty of the new raids is good, but the rewards are not.
Are the new raids too difficult?
This is what trainers say about the difficulty: In the first hours after the launch of the new level 6 raids, it was clear: they are challenging. Trainers warned that the new raids are really tough. One should be careful not to play with random players in small groups, as this would simply waste your raid passes.
Many players in rural areas, who rely on remote raid invitations, are having trouble with small team sizes that arise in some helper apps for raids. However, there are also opposing voices. On reddit, hotterpocketzz writes: It’s okay for level 6 raids to be this hard. He explains it this way:
“I love how challenging these raids are. This game has never been a challenge outside of PvP, and for the first time in the history of the game, I actually have to think about my team’s composition, coordinate with my friends, and stagger Megas to take down the boss,” explains hotterpocketzz. This feature reminds him of raids from other MMOs where you need to communicate to solve problems. This would be “a breath of fresh air” and he hopes that this content will serve as a benchmark for future challenging content. “The rewards are not really great, but I hope that [Niantic addresses it].”
For his opinion, the player receives a lot of positive feedback from the community.
“I don’t think it’s the difficulty [that bothers], it’s more the frustration of working with people who don’t know – or worse, don’t even try – to put together a good team. With a good group of people, these raids are no problem. If you play in a rural community or an inactive Pogo community and only have raid app randoms to help you, it can become very frustrating very quickly,” writes _DRE_ on reddit.
“The difficulty is good, but the coordination and communication within Pokémon GO is so poor that it’s not worth the difficulty,” explains Lucricious1 on reddit.
“The difficulty is not my problem, but the amount of Premier Balls is,” writes R4KD05 on reddit. “I defeated it in a good time, a very good time, considering the amount of hit points. We had over 10 players. I used strong counters and dealt a lot of damage and got 10 balls for that. That’s nonsense. If I perform the same [feat] in a normal raid, I get about 18 [balls].”
What about the rewards? The rewards and balls you receive after a victory are not good enough for the community. A major sticking point that the players agree on.
Because you need more players for the new raids and the bosses hit your Pokémon very hard. Thus, you use more revives and potions to bring back your attackers. “The current raid reward packages with revives and potions are completely untenable,” finds reddit user rockylizard.
There are now not enough items to heal, which are needed due to the strong bosses, the community says.
What do you think? Do you find that the difficulty of the new raids is good, but the rewards are too low? Or are you dissatisfied with both points and wish for a completely different improvement? Let us know your opinion on the new raids here on MeinMMO in the comments.

Representatives of the city employees of “New York City” have filed a lawsuit against Activision Blizzard (Call of Duty, WoW, Diablo 3). They see the pensions of their teachers, police officers, and firefighters threatened. It is believed that CEO Bobby Kotick is acting out of self-interest, selling his gaming company Activision Blizzard hastily and below value to save his own neck.
Who is suing?
The representatives of a pension fund for teachers, police officers, and firefighters in New York City are suing.
In the USA, it is common for specific professions to secure their retirement by purchasing bonds from companies. The group in New York has invested significantly in the publicly traded company “Activision Blizzard”.
Activision Blizzard is reportedly looking to sell its company to Microsoft. The pension fund of New York believes that too little money per share is resulting. They would like to have achieved a higher price. It is believed that the current deal is only happening because Bobby Kotick wants to escape responsibility and therefore wanted to sell as quickly as possible.
Activision Blizzard is to be sold “hastily” and “below value”
What is Activision Blizzard being accused of? Essentially, it is believed that Activision Blizzard is now being sold “hastily”, primarily due to Bobby Kotick, who is trying to save his own neck.
In the months leading up to the sale, accusations against the CEO of the company surfaced, stating that he was aware of the issues at Blizzard but did nothing to address them. He did not share his information, as he was supposed to, with the board of directors.
Reportedly, Microsoft made its acquisition offer just 3 days after a damning insider report appeared in the Wall Street Journal that raised serious allegations against Kotick.

When considering Kotick’s personal responsibility and his liability for the broken work culture at Activision, it should be clear for the board that he was not suitable to conduct negotiations for the sale of the company. But it was apparently not clear.
From New York’s perspective, the sale of Activision Blizzard to Microsoft would now allow the responsible parties to escape their liability. In doing so, they would have violated their “fiscal responsibility”.
The $95 that Microsoft is paying per share is too little. Activision Blizzard would have already had this value before the scandals.
Activision Blizzard is to disclose secret documents
What is being demanded now? The city of New York City demands that Activision Blizzard publish a number of internal and secret documents. They want to see a list of other potential buyers that allegedly existed.
They also want to know more precisely what Bobby Kotick’s understanding of the scandals was. The representatives of New York City want to gather more information to prepare a lawsuit against the board of directors, as they believe the responsible parties have “wasted the value of the company”.
We also engaged with Kotick’s reasoning for why they had to sell Activision Blizzard to Microsoft:
On the evening of May 4th, a new update went live in Call of Duty: Warzone, which brought another wave of weapon balance adjustments to the game. The two top weapons AK-47 (CW) and XM4 were nerfed – but a lot was also buffed. The patch notes are available on MeinMMO.
Season 3 recently made significant changes to weapon balance in Call of Duty: Warzone. Less than a week later, the next big balance update arrived, which again changes over 20 weapons.
This includes nerfs for the top weapons AK-47 (CW) and XM4, but otherwise, many assault rifles and submachine guns were buffed. You can find all the information about the update here.
CoD Warzone: Update 04.05.22 – Patch Notes
When is the update coming? The patch is already live.
How big is the update? It is just a small update without a large download.
What does the update include? In addition to the mentioned weapon adjustments, the armored truck that you could organize in the match since the start of Season 3 has been nerfed. It now has less health and the turret on top deals 40% less damage.
Additionally, Xbox players should no longer have any issues accessing the game with Xbox Live Silver.
With over 20 adjusted weapons, the latest update is one of the largest balance patches in Warzone. The following weapons received a buff or nerf:
How is the meta changing? According to initial assessments, the assault rifle STG44 has particularly benefited from the update. The changes to the Owen Gun are also interesting – the weapon was already very strong and received more damage – however, you should avoid the nerfed rapid-fire barrel.
The AK-47 (CW) had to take the biggest hit and is falling a bit behind. In contrast, the XM4, which was slightly nerfed as sniper support, is still performing very well – whether at range or in close combat.
KeepUp Survival has been in Early Access on Steam for a few months and is developed by the German developer Witte’s Studio. MeinMMO introduces you to the game.
What is KeepUp Survival? As the name suggests, it is a classic survival game.
You are on a lonely island covered by a dense forest. As usual, you search for resources, build shelters, and fight for survival.
There are numerous animals, creatures, and also buildings that you can explore.
The game is supposed to offer various features such as building, crafting, taming, and cooking in its final form, and growing different types of food should also be possible.
The game primarily focuses on exploration and does not feel like a hardcore survival game that relies on realism; rather, it seems to cater to fans of cozy survival simulations.
Who developed the game? KeepUp Survival has been in Early Access since February 26, 2021. It is developed by Witte’s Studio, a German developer. Through the YouTube and Twitch channel, it can be discovered that it appears to be a single developer. However, several people may also be involved in the project.
Fitzpiepe o.O, aka Norman, has been dealing with computers for 25 years according to his channel and has taught himself programming. He is now working as an indie developer and is responsible for development. Here you can watch a gameplay excerpt:

KeepUp Survival Gameplay-Video
KeepUp Survival is mostly positively rated on Steam – Players agree on its great potential
This is how the game is received on Steam: While the game has a total of 213 reviews, not many in number, they are predominantly positive.
Currently, the game has 71% positive reviews, and 32 from the last 30 days rate the game even at 84%. Although the game still suffers from some technical issues and many features are still missing.
Most players see great potential in the survival game. It is praised for being beginner-friendly and having a lot of love for detail. The companions are also positively highlighted. Here are some excerpts from the reviews:
“I have played the game for about 48 hours now, and it doesn’t get boring; there’s a lot of love in the details, the companions are just cute, and the support is top-notch. I will still be busy with it for many hours.” – renesmee
“Good, simple survival game for beginners” – supermarine7431
“Pretty good, but still needs a lot of work… I look forward to a bright future for this game!” – B13rmo
“This game has the potential to be great. I love it so far and am curious about how much this game will change for the better.” – AmpReVamped
“So far, I’ve had a lot of fun with this game. It’s nice to switch from first to third person perspective as needed. […] Recommended.” – tedfin
What is not well received? Negative voices primarily criticize that players often run around aimlessly. In their view, the game does not provide clear tasks to accomplish. Bugs and glitches are also a topic. Grind is said to be a problem as well.
However, even negative reviews like that of AnubisAnkh see potential for KeepUp Survival, who is already looking forward to a return: “I cannot recommend this game – not yet. To be fair, it has a lot of potential, and if development continues, I look forward to coming back and perhaps changing my opinion.”
The base game currently costs €13.99 in Early Access on Steam. By the way: Witte’s Studio is working on two more games – KeepUp Hunter and KeepUp Pirates.
Hunter is a zombie-slicing co-op shooter, while Pirates takes you to a comic-style pirate island where you have to survive similarly to Keep Up Survival.

The streamer Guy “DrDisrespect” Beahm has been streaming on the platform YouTube for two years after his ban from Twitch. However, YouTube Gaming has been on a shopping spree in recent months, showering Twitch streamers with endless amounts of money to poach them: After Ludwig, Valkyrae, and TimTheTatman, they have now acquired Sykkuno. However, it seems that DrDisrespect is not too pleased about this.
What is DrDisrespect upset about? The Doctor seems to be “very dissatisfied with the overall situation” for quite some time now.
Actually, DrDisrespect complains about everything and everyone: About “poor audio in Fortnite”, about childish streamers like xQc, about stupid “MMORPGs” like WoW or the dumb referees in basketball who see nothing. He also thinks that the new Batman is totally overrated – he’s just mediocre.
Currently, DrDisrespect is upset about YouTube Gaming, his current main platform. He recently said on Twitter that he simply has to unfollow YouTube Gaming. They do not support “us” at all. So why should he support them? Hahaha. Such a false industry that he is in (via twitter).

The 5 biggest Twitch bans that caused a lot of commotion
DrDisrespect complains about “lack of support” from YouTube Gaming
Why does that annoy him so much? DrDisrespect does not currently mention a specific reason why he is so disappointed and annoyed with YouTube Gaming, but the reasons are rather obvious:
DrDisrespect had signed a “multi-year exclusivity contract” for “several million US dollars” with Twitch in March 2020, which bound his livestreaming to the platform Twitch.
Although things are going well on YouTube, he only earns a “fifth” of what he made with all deals at Twitch.
Why is that so? Since the Twitch ban, DrDisrespect has been streaming on YouTube – but without an “exclusive contract.”
Although DrDisrespect is one of the largest and most successful streamers on YouTube and he also has a keen business sense. However, he apparently does not get much support from YouTube.
They practically “got him for free” after the ban since DrDisrespect had no alternative after his Twitch ban and the end of Mixer, where else he should go. On YouTube, he had already built up a large audience with his highlights from Twitch streams.
YouTube buys young streamers for a lot of money from Twitch – But DrDisrespect gets none of the cake
That seems to annoy him now: In recent times, there have been increasing reports that YouTube is paying extremely large sums for shooter streamers from Twitch whom DrDisrespect probably sees as “on his level or rather below.”
Reports are that YouTube offers money “that ensures a comfortable life” (DrLupo) or “that is completely insane” (Sykkuno).
These high sums were probably still okay when YouTube spent a fortune to get “TimTheTatman”, a friend of DrDisrespect who also plays shooters.
Recently, however, YouTube Gaming has started to increasingly pay young streamers handsomely who come more from the “Just Chatting” sector, like Ludwig or Sykkuno.
It is known that DrDisrespect is extremely ambitious and suffers from the Twitch ban. The fact that so many young streamers around him are now getting “completely crazy exclusive contracts” from YouTube while he stands there without a contract seems to bother the Doctor quite a bit. Even if he does not explicitly say so, he complains about a “false industry” that does nothing to “support” him.
It is known how much DrDisrespect is burdened by the whole situation regarding his Twitch ban, even if he often plays it down:
If you buy a graphics card, you often install a graphics card driver. Do you also update your graphics card or do you never do that?
If you buy new hardware like a graphics card, you usually also install the corresponding software suite for your GPU. All major graphics card manufacturers, such as AMD, Intel, and Nvidia, provide software packages for their graphics cards that you can install.
You can find graphics card drivers on every computer – But do you also update them?
What kind of software is that? When someone installs a graphics card or another device in their PC, the operating system first installs generic software. This software works with most devices. These standard drivers from Windows ensure that the devices are recognized under Windows.
You can then decide for yourself whether you want to download and install additional software from the appropriate manufacturer. If you have a Nvidia graphics card, you definitely need the Nvidia software. It is the same with AMD and Intel.
You also have the freedom to choose whether to update your graphics card software or simply continue using your old version. After all, no one can force you to use it – unless the manufacturer disables support.
How you can participate: Vote on which one we have included for you here. Check the box for your chosen answer and then click on Vote. You will also see how many people have participated.
More news about graphics cards: Are you currently looking for a graphics card or want to finally buy a GPU now that prices are dropping? Then you should pay attention to a few things that are currently happening. Because AMD and Nvidia are already hard at work on the next generation:
Manuel “GermanLetsPlay” B., short for GLP, is known to most who have dealt with German Let’s Plays. Since 2010, GLP has been regularly uploading videos on YouTube, but he announced that he would be leaving the platform indefinitely.
The YouTuber has had serious health issues for the last 10 years, suffering from pain.
He went to the doctor and to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with diseases related to his intestine and liver. GLP is supposed to have ulcerative colitis and the fatal disease primary sclerosing cholangitis.
With the diagnosis of primary sclerosing cholangitis and the associated medications, he lived for many years until it turned out to be incorrect. He still has ulcerative colitis to this day.
To this day, the doctors say that GLP has a certain illness related to the intestine and liver, but no one knows exactly what he has. The YouTuber is leaving the platform to take care of his body.
Update from May 9: In the original version of the article, it was stated that GermanLetsPlay’s ulcerative colitis was a misdiagnosis. This is not correct. While primary sclerosing cholangitis turned out to be a false diagnosis, GermanLetsPlay actually has ulcerative colitis. This has been corrected in the article.
Will GLP ever return? The YouTuber keeps that open. He is not averse to checking back in on bigger updates to Minecraft or other games, but whether he will ever upload videos as actively as before is uncertain.

What do his viewers and colleagues say? They wish the Let’s Player nothing but the best and much success. Many report their experiences with the YouTuber and that he has been with them since their childhood.
We have summarized some statements that were found under the video:
Ms_Momo thanks him: “I was always one of the silent viewers, but now a thank you is in order. I have been watching your videos since around 2013 and I can’t tell you how many times I came home from school and was able to switch off thanks to your videos. Whether it was everyday stress or family dramas, you could just dive into your videos and forget. (…) Thank you very much for the beautiful, fun times, good luck with everything that is yet to come, and all the best on your further path!”
Philipp Denk writes: “A childhood legend is leaving YouTube for an indefinite time. I haven’t missed a single video, and in school, you and Palette were the main topic, but everything has its end. I wish you all the best for your future, and I also thank you for allowing me to grow up with you.”
Walker 421 says: “You are a German YouTube legend. You have shaped YT-Germany like no other. Thank you for everything.”
The YouTuber and streamer rewinside says: “I wish you much love and strength.”
Some viewers also share similar stories about misdiagnoses and doctors; they can understand why GLP wants to step away from YouTube.
The success story of the man behind the mask – GermanLetsPlay
In 2010, GermanLetsPlay uploaded his first Let’s Play of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. In the videos, he barely spoke and in the first part not at all. He was too shy and reserved.
Over the years, however, he became more confident and even uploaded comedy sketches from real life, but those have since been deleted. He doesn’t reveal much about himself and his private life compared to other YouTubers.
Even his face remains a mystery to this day. Instead, GermanLetsPlay has his iconic mascot with a blue-black striped jacket and white mask, which is meant to represent him.
GLP doesn’t play specific games but rather everything across the board. Whether Sims, simulators, Minecraft, or Super Mario – he manages to entertain viewers with all his videos, his humor, and gameplay.
He also plays a lot with other well-known gaming YouTubers like Zombey, Maudado, or Paluten. Having remained true to his style for over a decade, he has accumulated over 3.65 million subscribers to this day. He was also among the first German YouTubers to create Let’s Plays at all.
Many have been there since the beginning or for many years and grew up with the 30-year-old. GermanLetsPlay shaped their childhood and his videos are preferred over typical children’s or anime series. He himself said in his video about this: “I got to be for many people what Dragonball was for me back then.” Such great success he will never have again in his life.
With Legends of Aria the developer Citadel Studios aimed to create a kind of successor to Ultima Online. There were many parallels. However, the MMORPG flopped on Steam. In the meantime, the company was sold and the new owner is planning an unusual comeback. A new Legends of Aria is set to be released in 2022 – with fresh content and Play2Earn.
What kind of game is this?
Legends of Aria is a sandbox MMORPG that we have been reporting on here at MeinMMO since 2015. It originally raised over $100,000 on Kickstarter as “Shards Online” and attracted mainly old-school players.
The developers promised them a feeling similar to what Ultima Online conveyed. Therefore, there should be no levels, and characters would instead improve through skills. There were also many similar features, including housing and the isometric perspective.
However, the MMORPG did not receive much attention. At launch in August 2019, 1,150 people played Legends of Aria simultaneously – the current record (via SteamCharts).
A switch to Free2Play in 2020 also did not bring about a turnaround. Since September 2021, the number of simultaneous players has consistently been in the double digits. On average, less than 20 players are online. The last major update occurred in the summer of 2020.
You can get a first glimpse of the game in this video from YouTuber Fischturd:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjnJ6oKho6w
New content and cryptocurrency are set to save Legends of Aria
What is happening with Legends of Aria? The revised version of the MMORPG will feature cryptocurrency, as well as some new features. A statement on the website reads:
We will relaunch the game with a focus on implementing the founding version of Legends of Aria, which will be realized with new content, a new playable world, and new sandbox content such as boats, player housing, improved PvP systems, prison systems, and more.
Among the new features is a third-person view. Players will be able to choose whether to play in the old isometric perspective or the new view.
This new version is set to launch its Closed Alpha on May 11. Anyone who has a optional subscription for Legends of Aria can participate. An open beta is scheduled for June/July.
What does the cryptocurrency entail? It will also be a part of Legends of Aria. New players starting with the MMORPG should be able to earn money right away. This will be possible through collecting, hatching pets, general trading, and loot.
You will be able to buy and sell items, but also complete characters, through an NFT shop. Additionally, ARIA tokens should be able to be earned in the game. According to the roadmap, the NFT marketplace is set to go live in August.
When will the new version be released? The official release is set for October. Until then, new content related to NFTs and a creator program will be implemented, as the roadmap reveals. However, the new version will always require a subscription.
For November 2022, an in-game poker game and a pet system are planned, while in Q1 2023, a revamp of the housing system and a new map will be introduced. Other revisions, such as a new PvP mode, will arrive only in the new year.
Additionally, a VR version of the game is planned for Q3 2023.
The old version will be called Legends of Aria Classic
What if I don’t want NFTs? The developers have also thought about that. The existing Legends of Aria will be referred to as “Classic” and will be released in a new client. In this version, players can continue to run their community servers, but they will also not receive any major content updates anymore.
What do you think of the changes to Legends of Aria? Are the new features and Play2Earn enticing for you, or will you ignore the new version of the MMORPG?
I myself predicted the death of Legends of Aria in a column in early 2021. However, I retracted that statement in 2022 due to the acquisition by Blue Money Games. However, there are still 6 other games that I believe will die this year:
In FIFA 22 is now the new TOTW 33 available. Find out here which players made it into the Team of the Week this time.
Update, May 4: The new TOTW is now available in FUT 22. Exciting are the new Inform cards from Romero (87), Bonucci (87), Mertens (86), Morales (86), and Günter (86).
Additionally, it is interesting that Son and Rodri, despite strong performances, did not make it into the team. This could be an indication for a spot in the upcoming Premier League TOTS.
Here you see the complete TOTW 33:
Here continues with the original predictions article. This way, you can see which cards actually made it into the TOTW.
What is the Team of the Week? Every Wednesday, the Team of the Week appears in Ultimate Team. The squad consists of 23 players who delivered strong performances on real soccer fields over the past football weekend.
These players receive a spot in the Team of the Week and improved Inform cards, which can be found in packs for a week.
These are TOTW predictions: The TOTW predictions are forecasts from the FUT community. They try to guess which players could land in the Team of the Week.
They provide a good overview of who could be in the TOTW. Potential Inform players can then be used to earn coins on the transfer market. How this works, you can find out in the trading tips.
However, it is important to note that these are theoretical forecasts and not guarantees. The TOTW 33 on Wednesday may look different than the predictions suggest.
Premier League players in TOTW 33: As the TOTS of the Premier League starts on Friday (Team of the Season), it could be that players like Son and Rodri, despite strong performances over the weekend, do not land in the new TOTW.
Because, if these players are chosen for the Premier League TOTS, they cannot simultaneously receive TOTW cards. So, if these players do not appear in TOTW 33, it could very well be that we see them again in the upcoming TOTS.
The prediction for Team of the Week 33 in Ultimate Team
The predictions for the next Team of the Week come from the FUT site fifaultimateteam.

With Marauders, a new shooter with tactical and sci-fi elements is starting its Closed Alpha on Steam today. MeinMMO reveals what kind of game it is and how you can play it yourself.
What is Marauders? Developer Team17 describes the shooter, which is played from the first-person perspective, as a “tactical multiplayer shooter” set in a dystopian sci-fi universe.
The setting somewhat resembles the alternate universe of Fallout. World War I was never concluded, and the Earth has been industrialized to such an extent that escaping into space became necessary.
Players assume the role of space mercenaries, the Marauders, who search for loot to plunder on spaceships.
The goal is to raid other ships and use the loot to upgrade your own gear and ship. You can either raid stations on asteroids or even capture enemy spaceships.
The design of the game therefore includes numerous steampunk elements and is quite dark.
When does the Alpha start? From today, May 4th, it officially begins. The closed Alpha is scheduled to run until May 9th.
How do you participate? You need to pre-order the game on Steam. Here is the official page.

Marauders starts Closed Alpha – We reveal what to expect
What modes are available? The game features both coop and PvP and is primarily played online. Whether it’s possible to play entirely solo without other players is still unknown.
How is Marauders played? You can either go on a loot hunt alone or in a group of three. The gameplay is described on the Steam page as: Raid, plunder, escape.
On the various battlefields, this is always your primary principle. These raids are the main component of the gameplay.
Apart from that, you equip yourself and your ship and travel through space in search of new targets. The gameplay is said to feel tactical and realistic, and the AI opponents are also expected to behave realistically.
Weapons can be improved with mods, and you unlock new items with XP. You can build your spaceship and upgrade it with new parts, or simply take over an enemy’s vessel.
How all this works in detail, we do not yet know. There are too few gameplay scenes for that. However, the principle is reminiscent of other shooters like Escape from Tarkov and Hunt: Showdown.
Who is behind Marauders? Team17 is a British company that both develops and publishes games. The company frequently acts as a publisher for indie games, such as the 2D roguelike Blasphemous.
However, the developer became well-known for games like Hell Let Loose. This game won many fans as a hardcore shooter with a WW2 setting and was even regarded as the Anti-Battlefield.
