With Dragonflight, World of Warcraft is making significant adjustments to the professions. MeinMMO editor Benedict Grothaus was able to check out some changes in the alpha and found that crafting can now be really dangerous.
During the Dragonflight alpha, I self-exploded. Without warning, without intention, and right in Stormwind. Why? Because I just wasn’t careful enough while experimenting with the professions.
Part of the ongoing alpha includes the revamped professions in Dragonflight. In my test, two were available to try out: Blacksmithing and Alchemy. And it’s with the latter that there is a new and pretty cool gimmick.
As in previous iterations of the profession, new recipes are discovered through research. To do this, I need to experiment as an alchemist – it starts with a relatively easy recipe. Unlike before, however, it doesn’t just have a cooldown of 20 hours now.
Instead, I can experiment as long as I want until I mess up. This means: I explode into the air, my health points drop immediately to 1, and I get a debuff suggesting that maybe I should first stay away from the Erlenmeyer flasks and test tubes. Here’s my experience with it:

WoW: Dragonflight – Alchemy can be dangerous
I don’t know if it’s random how long I can research or limited by a specific number of discoveries per day. But I know that the idea is pretty cool, even though the explosion triggers the cooldown.
In general, Dragonflight changes a lot about the professions. After my 7 hours with the new Evoker class, I spent over 3 hours with the professions looking at what’s available. I’m just not fully convinced yet.
3 Minuten Gameplay zu Rufer, der neuen Klasse in WoW Dragonflight
New professions are pretty cool, but I am skeptical
Dragonflight is revamping all professions and wants to make them important again. It should be worthwhile to become the best blacksmith, tailor, or alchemist on the server. There are also new “ranks” for many recipes, through which crafted items can simply become stronger.
Depending on how much “experience” you have when crafting items, the probability of a better effect or more stats increases. The items themselves remain the same, only their rank increases through a new system that indicates their quality:
The new ranks and their symbols.
There are even new secondary stats and additional materials that are solely intended for crafting. For example, a probability can be added to achieve a higher quality, to craft multiple items simultaneously, or to increase the experience gained.
Professions are even intended to serve as a substitute for players who do not want to raid. In an interview with GameStar, Game Director Ion Hazzikostas spoke in detail about professions and the new secondary stats.
According to current information, 5 items at mythic raid level should be wearable. Whether this is a real alternative remains to be seen. It was at least discussed that certain materials could only come from the raid.
What is certain is that professions will be more fun again, as the explosion shows, and continue to provide important items such as potions or the new vials that will replace flasks after 18 years. Whether they can develop into a true alternative remains to be seen.
So far, however, there hasn’t been enough to test to draw a real conclusion here. Only 2 professions were available to me, and not even in full. Let’s see how it goes from here.
By the way, a little explosion doesn’t stop me from continuing to research. If anything, it’s because I have to. After all, I learn new recipes this way, and there are some pretty crazy new ideas that I would love to craft as an alchemist:
In July 2022, numerous events are waiting for you in Pokémon GO again. We at MeinMMO show you all the dates and bonuses in this overview and tell you which of the events are particularly worthwhile.
What does our overview show? Every month, various events await you in Pokémon GO. And in July, there will be several for you again. We have compiled which ones they are and when they take place in the following overview.
We show you all thematic events, live events, such as the GO Fest in Berlin, as well as short events, like the weekly raid and spotlight hours and their bonuses. Of course, you will also find all the cups that will take place in July in the GO Battle League in this list.
All events in July 2022 at a glance
The coming weeks will bring you several events in Pokémon GO again. You can see all the ones that will await you in July in the following table. We have also summarized which of these events are particularly worthwhile at the end of the article.
As not all details about the events are known at this time, we will regularly update the article for you and add new information.
Pokémon marked with a (*) can also be caught as Shiny, if you are lucky.
Which events are particularly worthwhile in July?
Live and thematic events: In July, there will be two live events for GO Fest 2022, and there will also be various thematic events that you can participate in from anywhere. The following are particularly worthwhile:
The Pokémon GO Fest in Berlin (July 1 – July 3): The live event for GO Fest represents one of the largest events in Pokémon GO in 2022. There will be numerous spawns and bonuses on site as well as the new Ultra Beast Schabelle announced. You may also meet one or two content creators for autograph sessions.
Anniversary Event (July 6 – July 12): The exact contents of the event are still unknown, but the namesake event last year brought you some cool bonuses and quests. This year, you can further enhance the event with the help of the Hyper Bonuses for the GO Fest in Berlin, making it even better.
Surprise Event (July 27 – August 2): Niantic has already provided initial hints about new Pokémon for this. For many players, this event will be interesting for that reason alone. However, which monsters will exactly be available remains to be seen. This event may possibly have something to do with the Pokémon that were recently found in the game code.
Raids: In July, you can encounter the legendary birds of the first game generation again in Level 5 Raids. Especially Lavados and Zapdos are strong Pokémon that are among the best attackers in Pokémon GO. Dialga will also return to Level 5 Raids. This is one of the best dragon attackers in the game.
Spotlight hours: In the spotlight hours, you should definitely secure Machop in July. This fighting Pokémon has a strong evolution into Machamp, which is among the best fighting attackers in the game.
If you are looking for a strong candidate for the Super League, you should mark the spotlight hour with Meditite in bold on your calendar. Its evolution Medicham is right there at the front.
The spotlight hour with Staryu is also the perfect opportunity to farm Stardust. This monster is one of the 22 Pokémon that gives you extra Stardust when caught.
What do you think of the events in July? Which monster do you absolutely not want to miss this month? Feel free to share your thoughts with us here on MeinMMO in the comments.
The monthly updates in Lost Ark are the ones that bring about the major changes. This July, another update is on its way. We at MeinMMO will reveal all the details about the patch.
When is the update coming? As Amazon has confirmed via Twitter and in the forum, the big July update will release on July 20. They are sticking to the new Wednesday as patch day.
We can also now provide an exact time. The servers will go offline at 9 AM sharp. They should be offline for four hours and return around 1 PM with the new update so you can continue playing.
The exact patch notes are now known, and they are extensive. You can find the detailed patch notes at playlostark.com. In this article, we want to highlight and explain the core features for you.
What’s included in the update? In July, you can expect the following new content in Lost Ark:
The Arcanist as a new class of mage
Valtan on the hellish difficulty setting, which comes with some challenges
Abyssal Dungeons in challenge mode
The summer event “Water Bomb Arena”
New skins
New power passes and extensive changes to the existing ones
New progression up to gear score 1,370
Bug fixes
Just in June, a new challenge entered the game with Vykas:

New class adds more DPS to the mage
What can the Arcanist do? The new Arcanist belongs to the class of female mages, which also includes the sorceress and the bard. Unlike the bard, the Arcanist is purely a damage class, offering less support than the bard. However, she deals enough damage to potentially steal the sorceress’s throne. With a bit of luck.
Because luck is crucial for the Arcanist. The card magician draws her powers from a magical deck of tarot cards. She fights with these and activates her skills, but as with any card game, chance plays a role. You never know which card you will draw next.
This makes the Arcanist one of the most challenging classes in Lost Ark.
What makes her special? The Arcanist is unique not only due to her luck-based class mechanic. Unlike the sorceress, the Arcanist operates at medium range and can also engage in close combat.
To do this, she relies on a reservoir of movement abilities that allow her to move quickly and gracefully across the battlefield and thus adapt to the situation at any moment. Which is simultaneously what you must do. Thanks to the element of chance, you must always be prepared to react to anything.
You can see gameplay from the Arcanist in this video:

When is the Arcanist coming? The new class will be unlocked simultaneously with the patch on July 20. A new event will also launch at the same time, which will help you get your Arcanist directly into the endgame. We have explained how this works in a separate article for you.
What changes with the boss? The Legion Raid Valtan has been available since May in Lost Ark. He is currently accessible in both his normal and hard variants. However, with the July update comes the first hellish variant of a boss into our version of the game.
There are some peculiarities to watch out for, although little changes with the boss himself. The fight will largely remain the same, but the surrounding conditions will be made a bit tougher. For example, the Book of Coordination, which you already know from PvP, will be used.
You can no longer simply overlevel Valtan on hellish. Your equipment will be normalized, and you will always have the same gear score as Valtan has. For the hellish level, this means you will need a gear score of 1,445 and cannot exceed it.
This also means you need to pay particular attention to mechanics that you may have previously avoided.
Additionally, the checkpoints will be disabled. You will need to complete the hellish Valtan raid in one go and will not be able to save partway through and return later, as is typically the case with Legion Raids.
Valtan will be even harder in the July update
What rewards are there? The hellish Valtan is intended to be a special challenge and will be rewarded as such. This means you will not receive the usual rewards that you know from Legion Raids. Instead, Lost Ark will reward you with titles, achievements, stronghold buildings, and more.
We currently do not know what the further rewards will be. However, you increase your rewards by defeating the boss more frequently. So for some especially nice items, you will need to defeat Valtan several times on hellish.
Good news is that the hellish mode does not count towards your weekly limit for Legion Raids. You can play Valtan on normal, hard, and hellish within a week.
Abyssal Dungeon Challenges and New Event
Abyssal Dungeons in new mode: The new Abyssal Dungeon challenges add to the opportunities to help you level up your gear score faster. They are based on the already known Guardian Raids and create a new activity that you can complete weekly to gather rewards.
These rewards again come in the form of special currency that you can exchange for the materials you need. Additionally, Amazon is particularly emphasizing the chance of rare card drops, although we do not yet know exactly what these will be.
It is known that you can complete each Abyss Dungeon in challenge mode once per week per account. The same normalization applies here as it does for hellish Valtan, meaning you cannot enter the dungeons with too high a gear score.
New events: Additionally, July will bring a genuine summer event. You will need to dive into a swimming pool and try to push the opposing team out of the pool with your water gun.
As the game progresses, the pool will get smaller. So you always need to be careful not to fall out yourself while collecting enough points to win in the end.
In addition to this event, a new express event will also start in Lost Ark. Here, you can again select a character, making it much easier to achieve a higher gear score. This time, the endgame gear score of 1,370 will be available to reach faster.
The event is quite self-explanatory and will be shown to you via a pop-up in-game as soon as you log in after the update. You will then need to select a character and will probably not be able to switch it later. The event runs until September 28.
The third event is the Mokoko challenge. It will replace the previous welcome challenge in the game and will present you with new tasks while also introducing new rewards. It aims to enable you to advance faster through Tier 1 and Tier 2.
Extensive changes to the shop in Lost Ark
What was adjusted? The biggest change to the Lost Ark shop will be that starting July 20, you can purchase new power passes. The power passes allow you to jump straight to a level defined in the pass. Unlike before, you no longer need to have a character at the desired level, but can practically jump directly into the endgame.
There will be 5 different power passes, starting at a price of 1,100 royal crystals, increasing by the same amount the higher you want to ascend. The first pass, named Vern Pass, brings you to level 302 for 1,100 crystals, while the 5th pass, Punika Pass, gets you to 1,302 for 5,500 crystals, roughly €60.
Additionally, the price of the passes adjusts depending on how far you have already progressed. If you want to give a character in Rohendel the Punika pass, he only needs to jump through 3 regions, which will cost 3,300 crystals.
There is no restriction on how many passes you can buy, nor information on how this might impact future, potentially free, event passes.
New skins for summer: As with every update, you will also receive a lot of new skins this month. Included are the long-awaited bikini skins in various designs. You can purchase them at the usual prices in the Lost Ark shop.
However, there is also a new exclusive skin for the Arcanist, as well as new companions available for purchase in the shop.
“Midsummer Night’s Dream” skinsThe new companionsThe exclusive Arcana skinThe “Lover” skins are bikinis with a bit more clothing
Easier progression to the endgame
Easier in Tier 3: The update on July 20 also brought extensive changes regarding how you reach the endgame. It’s not only made easier but also cheaper. The changes are divided into three different tiers.
To reach a new tier, you need to upgrade your equipment completely to +15. So once you have everything at +15 in T1, you can get T2 equipment. Previously, this was a laborious task involving a lot of grind and luck due to the upgrade mechanics.
Now it’s different, because in Tier 1 and 2, you now have a 100% chance that your upgrade will succeed, at least up to +15. Not only that, the attempts are also cheaper in terms of materials and gold. Thus, you will reach the coveted Tier 3 much faster and cheaper, starting at gear score 1,302.
There are also adjustments in Tier 3: Here you still need some luck, but there are also alleviations. Generally, you will now succeed in upgrades up to +15 20% more often than before. The required item experience has also been reduced by 30% in the same margin.
The required materials in Tier 3 up to +15 have been reduced by 50%, and enhancement costs are also down 30%. The success rate for enhancement has improved by 10%. You can now progress much easier up to 1,370, where the first Abyss raid awaits you.
What do you think of the July update? Are you excited about the new challenges and the Arcanist? Or is there not much for you personally this time? Feel free to let us know in the comments here on MeinMMO; we’re looking forward to a good discussion!

These times are important today:
At 3:00 PM German time, maintenance will start in the background on all platforms.

You may also have to deal with queues when logging in. Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official Companion app may not be accessible correctly.
Guardians will soon be able to pursue new armor
What Changes with Update 4.1.5 in Season 17
This is what the hotfixbrings today: After hotfix 4.1.5, Guardians can expect a new week. However, Bungie will likely fix some bugs and issues first and initiate the Solstice event.
MeinMMO lists some of the issues that Bungie will be addressing in this update:
Tooltips disappear when you dismantle items at the Post.
Defeating targets with the aspect “Mow them down” while they are “Radiant” grants no melee energy when using “Caliban’s Hand.”
Console platforms have no setting for voice chat volume.
If you notice issues in the game, it is recommended to report them directly through the official Bungie Help Forum to bring them to the developers’ attention.

Blizzard has spontaneously released patch notes for a new update for Diablo Immortal. Spontaneous because the patch will be rolled out on July 20. And the update brings a number of important changes.
The long-awaited class switch is coming, and the cooldown is known: Every 7 days, you will be able to switch classes with characters of level 35 completely free of charge.
The weekly limit of fading sparks will be increased from 200 to 280. Additionally, you can exchange 22 Fa-runes for an eternal legendary emblem, instead of simply crafting a stone with it. Gems from “eternal” emblems can be sold on the marketplace.
For completing a troop raid each week, you can obtain another eternal legendary emblem from Jondo Mouren for 1,600 platinum.
Especially the last 2 points have been significant criticism of the game since the release of Diablo Immortal. They hinder free-to-play players from obtaining the coveted legendary gems for free.
Due to the changes, acquisition is still limited but significantly less than before. Starting Wednesday, you will have better chances of acquiring strong legendary gems and upgrading them, even if you don’t pay real money.
We will explain how legendary gems work and where to get them in the video:
Start video
Diablo Immortal: What are legendary gems? Facts and locations in 3 minutes
There are some specifics to the class switch. You have a one-time opportunity to switch back to your old class if you don’t like the new one – regardless of the cooldown. Switching outside this time should not be possible, not even for money.
When is the update coming? On July 20, the update will be rolled out after maintenance, which starts at 10:00 AM. Thus, the update comes only 2 weeks after the disappointing first content update of Diablo Immortal.
The download size is approximately 530 MB, and Diablo Immortal is now playable again; the servers are online (as of 2:00 PM).
Patch Notes: Class Switch, Legendary Emblems, and 63 New Legendary Items
This is also included in the update: In addition to the changes, the update brings many new features:
Until August 3 at 3:00 AM server time, the event “Path of the Adventurer” will also run with several tasks:
after 8 tasks, you will receive 10 candidate keys
after 16 tasks, there is the portrait frame “Laurels of the Adventurer”
for 20 tasks, you can even win a legendary emblem
In the Relic of Hell, you will find a new raid boss starting August 2: Gorgothra the Reaper, who relies on poison attacks.
A new cosmetic set is available for purchase in the shop: the Amber Blades.
2 new monster affixes are added
Shell: Protects the monster’s health points until a shield is destroyed
Siphon: Slows down a target for 5 seconds and drains life, healing the monster
The legendary gems Blood-Soaked Jade and Zwenson’s Wraith will be adjusted.
36 new legendary items will be added to the game – 6 for each class. You will find the list of legendary items in the official patch notes from Blizzard.
Diablo Immortal: All 6 Classes in Brief Overview with Gameplay
Additionally, the “Path of the Hero” will be introduced, new content for high-level players. The Path of the Hero will be unlocked during the main quest in the Frozen Tundra and is designed to provide you with tasks that become harder with increasing Paragon.
Details are not known yet, but the corresponding screenshot shows tasks like: “Equip 4 parts of the same set”. Rewards include things like keys, platinum, cosmetics, and legendary emblems. Whether the path is free remains unknown.
No information has been disclosed yet about the new class, which fans have already discovered in the game data:
The unusual game “Inscryption” has a really good rating on Steam and is now set to captivate players on PS4 and PS5 as well. However, players warn: It’s best to go in as blind as possible.
What kind of game is this? Inscryption describes itself on Steam as a “pitch-black, card-based odyssey that blends deckbuilding roguelike, escape room-style puzzles, and psychological horror into a bloody smoothie.”
The unusual card game was released on October 19, 2021, on Steam and has such a good average rating that it is among the absolute best titles published on the platform in 2021.
97% of the total 68,143 reviews are positive, with recent reviews (from the last 30 days) standing at 96% from 2,571 reviews.
What’s new? After a port for PS4 and PS5 was already announced, there is now a date for the indie favorite: On August 30, 2022, Inscryption will officially be released in the PS Store for €19.99.
This will soon allow PlayStation players to determine whether Inscryption is deserving of its great ratings. However, those who want to research beforehand whether the game is a good fit for their collection should think twice about how deep they want to dive: Many players recommend going in as “blind” as possible.
Many keep a big secret about Inscryption
A special game: When the port was officially announced on the PlayStation Blog, developer Daniel Mullins emphasized again the aforementioned mix of various genres. A bit of cards, brain power, and horror elements, indeed. But also prepare for one surprise or another: Mullins already has experience with “quirky games on Steam” – he was also responsible for the similarly popular “Pony Island.”
Regarding Inscryption, he says: “This combination of video game genres has huge potential. What begins as a devilish deckbuilding game soon takes a surprising turn, but I leave it to you to discover the darkest secrets for yourself.”
This credo also seems to be followed by many reviewers on Steam. For while there is ample praise for the game, many choose to share as little as possible about it:
“I haven’t played anything like this before. Even if you invest just a few hours, not only the game’s mechanics but also the game itself will surprise you. I have never experienced such mechanics and ideas before. I’m glad I got to play it,” writes a user (via Steam).
“Inscryption is something that no one will replicate anytime soon. Unbelievably fun gameplay, varied design, good pacing, really beautiful and sophisticated art styles, and now and then a plot twist that makes you rethink. The less you know about the game, the more fun it is. An uncompromising recommendation for anyone looking for challenging entertainment (best in one sitting) that is extremely enjoyable,” agrees another (via Steam).
“The less you know, the better the game is,” writes another (via Steam).
There is overall a lot of praise for the atmosphere, the gameplay mechanics, and the creative ideas that define the game. However, looking at the comparatively few critical comments, there are also some players who are not satisfied with some of the abrupt changes in the game. One should approach the game openly and expect surprises.
If you want to get an impression, you can find the trailer here. While it doesn’t provide much insight into the contents, some players also recommend skipping the video:

How was the game received otherwise? Also outside of Steam reviews, Inscryption has made quite an impact. For example, it was nominated for the “Game Awards” 2021 as the best indie game but lost to Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
However, it did win the “Game of the Year” title at the Game Developers Choice Awards and also triumphed at the Independent Games Festival Awards. Additionally, it received further nominations as best game at other award shows.
You can also find numerous videos on YouTube praising the game, calling it particularly creative, or naming it the best game of 2021.
Is the PS version different? As developer Daniel Mullins explains, you can expect basically the same unusual experience on the console as on the PC. However, there are some extras: For example, a lighting of the PS controllers tailored to the game, or sounds coming directly from your pad. Additionally, haptic feedback on the PS5 is incorporated into the game – all in the spirit of the atmosphere.
What do you think of the mysterious game? Do you know it already? Do you also think one should go in blind? Do you enjoy such unusual games? Or is it not your thing? Tell us in the comments!

Barrikadax Pose
If you are unable to complete the tasks by Community Day, the cosmetics will also be available for purchase in the shop afterward.
You can earn these cosmetics.
Are you looking forward to the Community Day in August, or is the current weather just too hot for excursions? Already in July, the heat is troubling many trainers – so much so that they are now demanding developers to adjust the game to protect players:
YouTuber Charlie “Cr1TiKaL” White Jr. is currently offering $20,000 (about €19,500) if you complete Halo 2: Anniversary. But on the highest difficulty and with plenty of options that make the game even harder. So far, no one has succeeded.
This is the challenge:
Cr1TiKaL runs a large channel on YouTube with over 10 million subscribers. He shows everything there, including games like Pokémon Unite.
The YouTuber offered $5,000 a few weeks ago for anyone who could complete Halo 2: Anniversary in perfect “LASO”. This stands for “Legendary, All Skulls On”.
After no one responded, the YouTuber is now offering $20,000 and demands: “Come and get my money!”

This is what you need to achieve: LASO is considered the toughest challenge in Halo 2 overall. Not only do you play on the highest difficulty “Legendary”, but you also make the game even harder.
In the game, you can find skulls that add various modifiers when activated. These include disabling the HUD, invisible weapons, or a mode in which shields only recharge after a melee hit against enemies.
Just that alone is considered extremely challenging among fans of the game. Additionally, Cr1TiKaL demands that you play perfectly, meaning you cannot die a single time. This is now nearly impossible.
Furthermore, Cr1TiKaL’s challenge states that a specific skull cannot be active, which actually provides an advantage: invisibility. This makes the challenge not only nearly impossible but simply diabolical, as the YouTuber himself says.
The prize money is only valid for the first person to complete the challenge.
According to Cr1TiKaL, the task is possibly the hardest challenge currently in gaming. Halo 2 was released in 2004, and since then, not a single person in the world has been able to master the challenge.
In 2020, the remaster of Halo 2 in the Anniversary Edition was released, bringing the game back to the attention of many gamers. Nevertheless, no one has attempted the challenge.
Cr1TiKaL thought that there simply hadn’t been enough motivation – which is why he offered a “bounty” for it. But that didn’t work:
All we have seen emerge from this so far are mental breakdowns. It has broken the spirit of some people, and souls have been shattered. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the runners are now addicted to hard drugs just to forget that they even attempted this challenge.
In the 3 weeks of the challenge, many tried it, but no one has succeeded so far. 99% of people haven’t even mastered the first level, and 80% – including Cr1TiKaL himself – haven’t even made it past the first room.
Cr1TiKaL wants to watch as “history is being made”. But as it seems, he will have to wait a while for that. Maybe one of you will succeed and secure the YouTuber’s money.
If you’re wondering how much people like Cr1TiKaL actually earn to be able to call for such challenges:
In Lost Ark, the daily login rewards are extended again, but the major update is not delayed because of this. We at MeinMMO will tell you here why the extension is taking place at all.
What kind of rewards are these? In Lost Ark, you receive a reward every day during a login event when you log into the MMORPG. These rewards change after an event period, which usually lasts 28–30 days. The biggest reward is always given on the 20th and last day of the event.
Normally, you would have a buffer of 8 to 10 days, during which you don’t have to log in and can still collect all the gifts. However, this time that was not the case.
Tight schedule forces you to play: Since the major June update was postponed twice, the new login event only started, along with the patch, on June 30. The new rewards, however, will come into play again, together with the monthly patch, on July 20.
This means that this time you couldn’t afford a single mistake. You had to be logged in every single day of the event period to grab the coveted cat ears on the 20th login day. This forced fans to the extent that they even played on airplanes to avoid missing anything.
As shown in this reddit thread:

What has Amazon changed? To avoid the daily login stress, AGS has now extended the login rewards from June by one week, so you can collect the cat ears until July 27. At the same time, the new rewards will not be postponed.
From July 20 to July 27, there will be two simultaneous login events, where you can cash in different bonuses. This is a response to the criticism that has become increasingly loud from the community in the forum and on reddit. However, if you are among the hardcore players who really logged in every day for 20 days, you won’t receive any extra bonus for that, which seems to annoy some users again.
What problems might arise? In a blog post, AGS also announced that these double bonuses could lead to a problem, which can be easily fixed. If you jump back to day 1 of the new rewards on July 27, you shouldn’t panic.
Lost Ark assures at this point that a restart of the MMORPG will remedy the situation and return the promised progress as soon as you log back in.
The new boss Vykas has been in the game since June and challenges you:

“This is exactly what we need”
The community celebrates: The change in rewards is creating really good vibes in the community. It’s not even really about the gifts themselves but rather about how the publisher is handling the situation. Even before the release, Amazon was criticized for communicating too rarely and too little with users.
Now fans are glad that feedback is collected and implemented quickly and that the people behind Lost Ark are talking more openly about what is currently going on in the game and how to eliminate obstacles.
But players are also happy about the cat ears that many users can now still collect. They go perfectly with the sexy bikinis that will finally make it into the game with the July update, after fans had complained.
What are players saying? As always, we would like to share some quotes from the community with you so that you can get an impression of the mood. They come from a reddit thread discussing the change.
RegionBlockLULW writes: “This is exactly the type of content we need. Feedback that is not beyond the possible is noticed and implemented. They really made a 180-degree turn in terms of the quality of service over the past months.”
Honest_Milk says: “Remember that this is the same company that previously didn’t even announce when they wanted to release new skins. […] The level of communication we get now, with roadmaps, pitches, player feedback, etc., is so much better. Communication is key. A ‘no’ is worth a thousand times more than just saying nothing.”
dolpherx is more pessimistic: “We should wait and see what the next roadmap brings. Getting a few things right while repeatably getting many things wrong doesn’t suddenly mean everything is okay. It takes a few months to see if it is really good communication.”
What do you think of the changes? Do you also believe that Amazon is now communicating better? Or are you also still skeptical about it? Feel free to let us know in the comments here at MeinMMO.
In many games, you often see futuristic or bizarre weapons. A YouTuber has now built a rocket launcher from Halo. And the result is impressively good. At least that’s what his community thinks.
The well-known YouTuber “Jairus of All” (450,000 subscribers) has now presented a self-built weapon in a video. This is a rocket launcher from the game Halo. And the weapon is quite large and can actually shoot rockets – at least the YouTuber tries to.
Self-built rocket launcher is larger than the YouTuber
What has he built? The weapon he built is the M41 SSR MAV/AW from Halo. This is a heavy rocket launcher designed to fend off vehicles. The part is officially carried on the shoulder due to its size.
How exactly does the device work? Jairus fully developed and built the weapon and also manufactured the ammunition, small rockets, himself. The YouTuber cannot shoot real ammunition with the weapon. He also had to invest a lot of time into the rockets. Because the rockets must fly in one direction and should not spin wildly around their own axis. Jairus therefore tried to get the weapon and its equipment as perfect as possible.

In the video, you can see how impressive the finished device is. However, the final result is not perfect yet. Because the rockets do not fly exactly in the direction in which the YouTuber intended. He explains, however, that he wants to refine his project further.
Community is impressed, shows appreciation for the performance
How does the community react? The users under the YouTube video are fascinated by the result. One explains that the device is already pretty precise considering that weapon manufacturers have a completely different arsenal of personnel:
And what have we learned? It is difficult to develop and build functioning, precise rockets and launch systems. I would say it went really well, considering the resources and workforce that weapon system manufacturers have.
Other YouTubers also showcase cool actions or valuable tips that can help you save a lot of money. For example, a YouTuber demonstrated how you can destroy your computer with just one cable:
Kingdom: The Blood is a new MMORPG currently in development. It is based on the Netflix series “Kingdom” and offers action-packed, bloody zombie gameplay. The developers show a first video.
In 2021, the first trailer was released announcing the MMORPG Kingdom: The Blood. Now, the developers Action Square show for the first time what the gameplay looks like. However, they label the video as “work in progress”.
The video initially shows a PvP fight where a samurai and an axe fighter are beating each other. Realistic-looking blood splatters with every hit. After that, the samurai encounters numerous zombies on a burning street, decapitating them with swift strikes.
Next, there are even more zombies and even more PvP. At the end of the trailer, you see snippets from the world where Kingdom: The Blood takes place.

Kingdom: The Blood – Gameplay Trailer
Manual Combat, No Auto-Play
The combat is action-packed and there is no auto-play, neither in the PC nor in the mobile version. Manual combat is an important part of Kingdom: The Blood. You can find 7 more MMORPGs with action combat here.
The developers reveal themselves as fans of Souls-like games, such as Dark Souls and Elden Ring. They plan to integrate elements from these games into their MMORPG in the future.
What other content does the game offer?
The zombies only come out at night when the temperatures are low.
In combat, there are only three attacks: basic attack, special attack, and counter. However, you can combine the attacks with each other.
The user interface is designed to be as simple as possible so that it is playable on mobile screens.
The story currently consists of 10 chapters, each divided into 4 sections. This covers seasons 1 and 2 of the series.
There are various characters, but they all carry a fixed weapon.
Zombies react to the smell of blood. If a player stands too close to a dead enemy for too long after a fight, zombies might come running.
For whom is the game suitable? This MMORPG is certainly appealing to fans of the series Kingdom. But even without having seen the series, the game could become exciting. It generally targets zombie fans who enjoy action-packed battles and have no problem seeing blood on their screens.
Fans of MMORPGs who need some variety in the setting will also feel at home in Kingdom: The Blood. The MMO offers something completely different from the recurring fantasy settings.
When will Kingdom: The Blood be released? There is currently no time frame for the release of the game. Very likely not anymore in 2022.
What we know is that the developers plan to release the MMORPG globally at the same time.
What do you think of the idea of making Kingdom an MMORPG? Have you seen the series or at least heard about it? Will you try the MMORPG when it is released? Or are unusual settings not for you and will you stick with your fantasy favorites? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments here on MeinMMO!
Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok (26) is regarded as the best player in the MOBA League of Legends of all time. However, since 2020, criticism against the midlaner has increased. His LoL team T1 and he have received hateful messages. Now they want to put a stop to this and are taking action: They are suing the authors of malicious online comments against a coach, against Faker, and against other members of T1.
Who is Faker and why is he considered the best player?
Faker was a dominant force in the midlane right from the start of League of Legends. In the midlane, flexible and deadly champions are played in LoL, who can quickly kill opponents with fast skill combinations – Faker has always excelled at this.
A cult formed around Faker early on: In video clips, one could see how Faker effortlessly emerged victorious from even the most hopeless situations. He barely moved a muscle and remained ice-cold at all times.
Moreover, Faker had enormous success: He became world champion in 2013, 2015, and 2016 – he won the championship in Korea 10 times: The LCK is regarded as the strongest league in the world. During that time, he earned the nickname “unkillable demon king.”
Faker is considered a kind of “national treasure“ in South Korea, an ambassador and figurehead of the entire country:
This is how Faker is doing today: Since 2017, something has been off. Faker has not been able to win a World Championship anymore, has had to endure some bitter defeats, even missing the World Championship.
Nevertheless, he is still considered an outstanding player today. His team T1 is one of the best teams in the world: Even though Faker is no longer the key player, the focus has now shifted to the 19-year-old Keria.
Coach received death threats when he substituted Faker
What is going on in South Korea now? In recent years, the climate between fans and esports athletes has apparently deteriorated significantly.
Members of the KT Rolster team received images of deadly weapons in a box in their training room, as reported by the magazine Inven.
His coach at the time, Kim “Moment” Ji-hwan, received death threats for his decision to substitute Faker.

Much hate against successful LoL players in South Korea
This is the reaction now: On July 19, the T1 legal team, together with Faker, went public and held a press conference in front of the police station in Jongno, which is a district of Seoul.
It is said that Faker has repeatedly urged people to refrain from malicious comments, but more and more such comments have come and they have become increasingly hostile.
Representatives of the APEX LAW LLC firm are now saying:
Players, the families of players, and all those around them continue to suffer on a mental level and we have no choice but to initiate prosecution against those who leave such hateful online comments.
It is said that they will take a rigorous approach and not enter into any deals. In the future, the team will monitor comments and take action against comments directed at T1 and Faker.
Personal attacks are not something one has to accept
In a press release from T1, Faker is quoted as saying:
Faker believes that every professional player has to live with their performance and career being evaluated by fans. But: Unwarranted criticism and personal attacks are not something one has to accept
T1 is determined to protect its members from such attacks. They have previously filed charges against those who verbally attacked their coach “Moment.” Today, they will file additional charges against those who attack Faker.
They also intend to pursue charges against “John Doe,” meaning against unknown persons.
T1 adds: These are not one-time measures, but they will long-term protect the players.
For many first-generation pros, LoL is now over, but Faker is determined to continue playing and defy age:
With patch 12.14, an item in League of Legends is being adjusted that was last changed in 2015. The healing potion will now regenerate fewer health points. This aligns with the current strategy from Riot Games, which aims to weaken healing and shields.
What changes are being made to the healing potion? The healing potion currently costs 50 Gold and restores a total of 150 health over 15 seconds when used. The upcoming patch 12.14 has already been deployed on the test server. There, the healing potion is significantly weaker:
The normal healing potion now restores only 120 instead of 150 health.
The Corrupting and Refillable healing potions now restore only 100 instead of 120 health.
The last update was in November 2015. The Gold cost was increased from 35 to 50.
Previously, it was adjusted in November 2011. At that time, the healing was reduced from 200 to 150. However, the duration of the potion was also adjusted from 20 to 15 seconds.
Otherwise, in November 2020, the icon was adjusted, which did not represent a game-relevant change.
What changes are being made to the summoner spells? There are also two adjustments here:
Teleport will now have a cooldown of 420 seconds in the normal version instead of 360 seconds. However, the upgraded form will remain unchanged.
Exhaust, on the other hand, now reduces incoming damage at levels 1-9 by only 30%. Only at level 9 does it remain 40% as before.
What do you think about the planned changes in patch 12.14? Will you continue to rely on the healing potion? Do you think it’s good or bad that the dragons lose damage, but the fights will last longer? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
Just last week, patch 12.13 was released with the new champion Nilah. However, it is causing some issues:
The new class in World of Warcraft Dragonflight has the best ability to troll – at least that’s what WoW demon Cortyn thinks and reveals what makes the Dracthyr so “great”.
In World of Warcraft, cooperation and teamwork are particularly important if you want to achieve success in dungeons, raids, or PvP. The skillful combination of abilities, coordination, and communication is a crucial factor if you want to withstand the adversities of Azeroth. But do you know what else that is?
Boring.
At least sometimes. Occasionally, it’s just much more fun to lead your teammates to their direct or indirect demise. As a huge fan of the deadly Switchblaster and “Faith Jump-on-Cooldown” priest, I always take a sardonic pleasure in trolling my friends and guild mates a little.
Precisely for this reason, World of Warcraft practically forces me to play the Evoker, the new class in Dragonflight,.
The Dracthyr Evokers will be the best class to troll – at least so far.
Because both the Switchblaster and the Faith Jump have a rather significant drawback, you need to position your character to use them. Guild mates who have had to endure my “friendly teasing” for several years certainly ring all alarm bells when my priest once again joyfully runs towards an abyss or a deadly fire area.
But luckily, the developers of World of Warcraft understand my plight and are bringing the Evoker (with an incredible number of adjustments). They can choose the wonderful ability “Fly With Me” in their talent tree. This ability is beautifully centered in the talent tree, so I can hardly miss it (and would never forget to use it).
New ability lets you carry friends straight into the fire
“Fly With Me” allows the character to select a target location within 30 meters. The Evoker lifts off, flies to the currently selected ally, and then carries both players to the target location. How that looks, the colleagues at wowhead have shown in a small video that’s circulating in the WoW subreddit:

In other words: The Evokers have the best possible talent in hand to properly troll their teammates. There’s almost no “early warning” anymore, as the Evoker doesn’t need to stand near a source of danger first.
The trolling potential has been and is actively discussed in various forums and has already led to some amusing memes, like this one:

It’s clear that “Fly With Me” can also be pretty strong when used correctly. Saving another person and yourself is a pretty cool thing. Presumably, in raids, Evokers will even be assigned to other characters who aren’t as quick on their feet. The potential for really cool, great saves is simply enormous … but so is the potential to annoy your own group.
The Twitch streamer and YouTuber Daniel “Danny” is accused of having raped his ex-girlfriend “Vi”. Vi posted photos of the court documents on Twitter, which sparked a major outcry. Before she came forward, she was accused of being a “psycho ex” who made up the rape. MeinMMO reports on what happened.
Warning: This article deals with sexual abuse. If this topic causes you discomfort, you should not read this news.
Those who are active on Twitter have surely noticed: “Danny” has been trending in Germany since yesterday afternoon, since July 18.
This is because his ex-girlfriend published a court ruling. According to this ruling, Danny was found guilty of rape in two cases.
In the meantime, she deleted the post, reportedly because it was reported constantly, it stressed her out, and her lawyer advised her to delete it (via Twitter).
However, another Twitter user shared the photos again.
According to the documents, the following penalties were imposed:
Danny was found guilty of raping the 20-year-old twice.
He received a youth sentence of 1 year and 6 months probation.
The YouTuber must bear the costs of the entire proceedings.
The post quickly spread on Twitter. In connection with the posting, Twitch streamer Niekbeats and musician t-low came under fire.
20-Year-Old Feels Defamed as Lying “Psycho Ex”
What was going on on Twitter? The streamer Niekbeats is currently under criticism for defending Danny at a time when he was already regarded as a potential perpetrator.
A Twitter user summarized how Vi was attacked by the Twitch streamer Niekbeats. Vi writes: She had to hear for years that she was the “psycho ex” who wanted to ruin Danny’s life. This took a heavy toll on her.
Now it has finally arrived: The verdict is here.

Streamer Apologizes for His Role in the Discussion
This is how Niekbeats reacted to his role: Shortly afterward, Niekbeats published a statement in which he wrote that he stands on the side of all victims of sexual violence (via Twitter).
He is ashamed of his behavior and wants to act more thoughtfully in the future (via Twitter).
How are Twitter users reacting to the execution? When you type “Niek” on Twitter, you mainly find accusations and insults directed at the streamer (via Twitter). Twitter users express shock and disappointment as they did not expect such statements (via Twitter). Only a few voices speak out in his favor, saying “we all make mistakes” (via Twitter).
Additionally, many users demand a statement from t-low, who apparently spends a lot of time with Danny at the moment, as he appears in almost every video of the YouTuber. So far, the musician has refrained from doing so.
Danny has also not yet commented on his ex-girlfriend’s statements.
However, we have asked both Danny and t-low and Niekbeats for a statement. Should they comment, we will report on it.
The content creator has been a Twitch streamer since 2015 and primarily focused on gaming in the early days. Minecraft was the order of the day back then. He was live almost daily and usually recorded over 200 to 300 streams per year.
Later, the Steam hit Among Us and Fortnite were added. In 2021, his community continued to grow, partly because he collaborated with the big German streamer Papaplatte from time to time.
Furthermore, his content shifted from primarily Minecraft, Fortnite, and Among Us to Just Chatting. Occasionally, he sprinkled in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario 64.
Since 2022, Danny has been streaming rarely and no longer regularly. Instead, he feeds his YouTube channel with content from t-low and his appearances. There is currently almost no gaming content to be seen.

Lily “LilyPichu” Ki is an American streamer and voice actress. In 2021, she received a role in Genshin Impact and subsequently played it more frequently herself. She has now admitted to spending more on the popular gacha game than she was paid for her role.
Who is LilyPichu?
With 2.5 million followers, she was among the top 100 most successful channels on Twitch
The 30-year-old American with Korean roots is active not only as a streamer but also as a voice actress, musician, and animator
Since 2021, she has been the voice of “Sayu” from Genshin Impact
She has now admitted to investing so much money into the game that she had to uninstall it
In the trailer, you can see some of the characters for whom players spend their money:

What did the streamer say? LilyPichu primarily plays games like League of Legends and Valorant. However, she also enjoyed showcasing the well-known gacha game Genshin Impact. When she received a role as a voice actress in the game in 2021, she started playing it more frequently and also spending money on it.
On July 15, LilyPichu was a guest on the “Trash Taste Podcast,” which regularly garners over 1 million views. When the conversation turned to the ongoing popularity of Genshin Impact, she revealed the extent of her problem with gacha games.

However, the streamer did not want to reveal an exact amount. She admitted to spending more money on Genshin Impact than she was paid for her role as the mini-ninja Sayu.
I basically paid back all the money they paid me. […] It’s terrible. I stopped spending money and I stopped playing. I had to uninstall [Genshin].
Even the podcast hosts admit to having had similar experiences with Genshin Impact and identify themselves as former addicts. However, they are now “clean”.
LilyPichu talks about her problem with gacha games
This is not the first time: Genshin Impact is not her first gacha game. LilyPichu admitted to having spent money on mobile games like Summoner’s War and Cookie Run as well. However, she has since stopped playing gacha games.
Her enthusiasm for Genshin, however, went beyond the game. She confessed to have watched various MMDs of the characters on YouTube. These are short videos where the character models are used to perform cute dances.
She is not proud of that. However, Genshin is simply well made. From the landscapes to the music to the characters, it is simply really beautiful. Everything is designed to attract players and entice them to spend money.
Very quietly, she finally added that she recently reinstalled the game.
No more jokes in Destiny 2. After players repeatedly issued threats against Bungie, the developer is now making a clear statement. Not only against hate but also against fraud. The developer filed a lawsuit against a streamer who allegedly committed “serial fraud,” threatened employees multiple times, and wanted to “burn down” Bungie’s headquarters.
What kind of lawsuit has Bungie filed? The lawsuit, which was filed on July 15 in a district court in Washington, targets the 17-year-old Destiny 2 player and streamer “MiffysWorld”. Also known as “L.L.” from Los Angeles.
At Bungie, it was initially assumed that he was “just” another cheater, from whom legal action was wanted after 13 bans and no insight. However, the investigations revealed much more.
It turns out that “MiffysWorld,” who also operates under the Twitter handle “inkcel,” apparently even publicly threatened to “burn down” Bungie’s headquarters. And that was not even the worst thing that was discovered.
The pure hate of people can be destructive.
Bungie currently accuses him of several offenses. He has practically committed “serial fraud”:
The Destiny 2 player and streamer supposedly created numerous accounts to continually circumvent the multiple bans against him.
He also traded and sold non-transferable items, including some items that Bungie created for charitable purposes, which constitutes a violation of the software license and the terms of use of Destiny 2.
He apparently also traded Destiny 2 emblems via stolen social media accounts.
Besides these allegations, it is especially the noticeable large hatred towards Bungie as a game developer, which is explicitly mentioned in the lawsuit against the streamer. Despite the bans on his accounts, he just keeps going.
Shows pride on Twitter without remorse and insight: Particularly noticeable is his great discontent against the employees of Bungie, which is now explicitly mentioned in the lawsuit against the streamer. After almost 13 bans against his accounts, he became increasingly personal and spread his hatred openly on Twitter.
Bungie will NEVER be able to stop me if I persist in my actions. Let’s just remember that it all began with a clip of me flying with [infinite ammo] and an aimbot. And then let’s stop responding.
Public threats against Bungie employees: Besides the breach of Bungie’s licenses through his excessive cheating, “L.L.” also gets personal. He specifically threatened Bungie community manager Dylan Gaffner, alias dmg04 on Twitter.
On May 18, 2022, he posted a picture of dmg04 on Twitter and wrote: “I just realized that I will be moving to a place [in Seattle] that is 30 minutes away from dmg [Gaffner] – he is not safe.”
The lawsuit also mentions that he not only made these personal threats. His underlying goal also seems to have been to “burn down” Bungie’s headquarters.
This case is not the first time players have unleashed their anger against the developer. Some players in Destiny 2 were so frustrated and angry about the PvP mode “Rift” in early June that they became toxic towards Bungie employees. Most recently, it was an Exotic armor piece for Titans that sparked an uproar and renewed hatred.
This sensitive penalty awaits the streamernow: His actions have far-reaching consequences, as all his actions, according to Bungie, were intentional.
The lawsuit demands “the destruction of all cheat software in the possession of the defendant”
“The deletion of all Destiny 2 and Bungie accounts that the defendant has created.”
Approximately 2500 euros in damages for each case in which “MiffysWorld” used cheat software in Destiny 2.
Or alternatively, a claim for about 147,000 euros “for each infringed copyrighted work.”
What does the Destiny 2 community say about this? Most players welcome Bungie’s actions. Especially since it not only sends a clear statement against cheating but also against hate.
Good, people need to finally learn that threats and harassment cannot just be accepted and that there are consequences!
This opinion is shared by Shiro, who is also tired of seeing many players get away with hatred and threats without consequences. He writes on Twitter that he is “tired of seeing people get away with threatening developers’ lives because they can’t control themselves.”
However, there are also other voices in the community who mainly view the young age of the defendant “L.L,” who streamed online under the name “MiffysWorld,” as critical. For example, player Ungren-3 says:
He shouldn’t have done it, but he also shouldn’t have his life ruined for it.
Bungie takes action against hate and fraud – Not just against “the big shots”.
Why is this lawsuit so important? It has certainly happened before that Bungie has been forced to take legal action. For example, when the developer goes after cheat developers again, who then give in and pay 1,900 euros for each cheater.
But it no longer just targets “the big shots”. The developer is now also taking a strong stance against player actions, that aim to “teach Bungie a lesson”. For example, when they impersonate employees of Bungie’s trademark protection service to provoke YouTube strikes against known Destiny streamers.
This case also shows that the developer is simply no longer willing to tolerate everything. Especially to protect its employees, who stand in the midst of the community and are far too often exposed to the direct hatred of toxic players.

As dmg04, Bungie Community Manager, explained in response to his colleague Drew Tucker, Co-lead Accessibility at Bungie, via Twitter:
It was a difficult situation. Confronting abuse and trying to stop it while potentially causing even more harm to oneself (and to the people one cares about), or silently putting up with endless harassment? I hope the ongoing discussion about harassment in the gaming industry leads to actions, improvements, and healing. For employees, for community members… for everyone.
What do you think about the lawsuit? Did Bungie do the right thing? Or do you think this was just a childish joke by a young player that should simply be tolerated by game developers? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.

In some parts of the world, there is currently tremendous heat, which also affects the gameplay experience in Pokémon GO. Therefore, trainers are now demanding an important change from the developers. We at MeinMMO show you what this is about.
What role does the weather play? Unlike other games, Pokémon GO is designed so that trainers must go outside to play. However, catching the popular pocket monsters is not always safe in every weather condition.
Currently, there is also tremendous heat in some regions, where people are generally advised not to stay outside for long periods. Many players see problems related to the game here and are calling for urgent changes.
This is what Pokémon GO should change in extreme weather
What problems do trainers see? Although according to weather services, there are extreme weather conditions in many parts of the world, and even Pokémon GO displays a warning when starting the game, trainers are still sent outside.
Warning in the game
Popular events like Community Day or the spotlight and raid hours continue to take place and are meant to encourage trainers to move. However, trainers have concerns about their safety and are calling for improvements in spawns so that they do not have to stay outside for long.
By the way: even if you want to play other Pokémon titles outside, caution is advised:
What would be a solution? In recent months, the home bonuses introduced during the pandemic have been systematically removed, making it nearly impossible to play from home. For example, the incense during standstill has been worsened and players now only receive a monster every 5 minutes if they do not move.
Additionally, the remote raid passes have become more expensive and have been removed from the weekly boxes to encourage trainers to raid in groups on-site. However, according to the reddit community, Niantic should address this and create solutions.
This is also supported by the user OneEyedBanshee, who refrained from playing during the Community Day with Staralili due to the currently high temperatures, to avoid endangering his own health. The reason was the event period, which took place from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, right in the midday sun.
Therefore, he demands in his reddit post that the spawns from incense during weather warnings should be increased so that safe gameplay is possible.

What do other trainers say about this idea? This proposal also meets with considerable approval from other trainers. After all, players who are in a region with such extreme weather conditions could still participate in events without being forced to potentially put themselves in danger.
Moreover, the developers have faced considerable criticism in recent months due to numerous changes in the game. The reddit user Negative-Champion260 also finds this idea excellent and believes that Niantic could improve its damaged image. He writes:
It is smart to earn money by developing a game based on AR technology where players can take photos of Pokémon in the wild and track the movements of the sun, moon, and stars. However, it would be wiser for Niantic to restore its tarnished image through measures like promoting responsible behavior as described by OP. If Niantic does not want to constantly increase the spawn rate of incense, it should definitely be increased during weather warnings.
“Niantic has made it clear that they do not care about our safety”
Others also share this sentiment, as they have had similar experiences in recent days. They criticize especially the weather warnings in the game.
These only offer players the option to select “I am safe” and, according to some statements, give trainers little feeling that Niantic is genuinely concerned about their safety, especially when combined with changes and push notifications in the game. There are comments under the post such as (via reddit.com):
Yorkshire_Edge: “Yes, there are weather warnings for extreme heat in the United Kingdom stating that you should not go outside, especially not in the midday sun. Yet Community Day was from 11 AM to 2 PM. You shouldn’t warn people to be safe if you are actively punishing them for it by reducing spawn rates and nerfing remote raid passes.”
myanzai14: “I agree! There were flood warnings, severe weather warnings, and landslide warnings in my area last week. Torrential rain. During these times we cannot go outside. And yes, we regularly experience very hot summers, so we don’t want to go outside then either. It would be nice if the spawn rate could be increased under such circumstances.”
ReStitchSmitch: “Covid is booming. I chuckled when I got the push notification to ‘meet in person’. Niantic has made it clear they do not care about our health or safety. Fry to death? Freeze to death? Who cares! ‘Go ExPlOrE'”
MrAlexLP: “We are here at the other end of Germany and the forecast says 35°C with not a single cloud in the sky, no wind, and about 60% humidity. […] I have only gone out to grind from 6 AM to 10 AM in recent weeks, but many people do not have the luxury to do that (+ events at noon). I’m afraid there just isn’t a good solution without violating Niantic’s ‘core values’.”
penemuel13: “I think this is a great idea, but you can’t completely ignore ‘dumb’ warnings, such as air quality warnings. Some people may be fine, but for those of us with compromised lung function, it can be very dangerous to be outside under such conditions.”
Whether Niantic will actually respond to the trainers’ demands and make playing from home possible during extreme weather conditions in the future remains to be seen. If there are any official updates on this, you will, of course, find out about them on MeinMMO.
What do you think of OneEyedBanshee’s proposal? Should Niantic adjust the spawn rate of incense during such extreme weather conditions? Or do you think it is perfectly fine that there is only a warning in the game? Feel free to share your opinion with us here on MeinMMO in the comments and discuss it with other trainers.
