A player finds a problem in ARC Raiders that deeply troubles him: All the hard work on a special collection seems to be for nothing, as he can only display a fraction of this achievement. Even the community sides with him.
What is the Raider complaining about? The frustrated player shares a problem on Reddit that the developers of ARC Raiders need to fix as soon as possible: He collected over 600 rubber ducks, but he cannot display all of them in his base. In an attached screenshot, he shows that he can only place 9 on his shelf, a pitiful fraction of his impressive collection.
Instead of mocking the Raider’s misfortune, players can understand his frustration. His situation is not only unfortunate but also quite impressive: “I have so much respect for this madness” (Majinmagics from Reddit).

Players Demand Justice for the Duck Collector
What are the rubber ducks in ARC Raiders good for? The small rubber duck can be found during exploration in ARC Raiders and sold for 1,000 credits – but many players would feel it’s too wasteful to sell it quickly.
The duck can be thrown to create a distraction, as it makes a small noise upon impact that could distract other players. Of course, you can also throw it directly at other players, which can be interpreted in different ways, as Biff3070 explains on Reddit: “Could be seen as a form of aggression. Use at your own risk.”
Since the rubber duck in the inventory is marked with a diamond icon, it can also simply be displayed in one’s own space – like the player from the Reddit post.
How does the community react to the player’s situation? Besides the various criticisms some Raiders have about the extraction shooter, it is precisely this player’s request that truly moves the community:
“When people said play how you want, you really took it to heart,” praises MongooseOne on Reddit, and Atown-Stadown also believes that the collector’s concern is finally a valid issue in the game that Embark should find a solution for: “Out of all the whiny, selfish, ridiculous requests in this subreddit, FINALLY there is a legitimate one.”
Other players are finally pleased to have seemingly found the reason why they themselves never come across rubber ducks: “So that’s why I haven’t seen a rubber duck in ages” (Crimsonmaddog44 on Reddit).
These supportive words from other ARC Raiders are no longer a rarity in the game. The community reports many positive, wild, and also funny moments with other players who come across each other on the map.
