Cryptocurrencies and NFTs have made headlines in recent years. In a house in Los Angeles, this topic seems to have particularly stuck.
What is the “Crypto House”? Described as a “handmade, curated house for all NFT and crypto lovers”, the so-called “Crypto House” is highlighted (via booking.com).
It is a place to stay in Los Angeles that can be booked for overnight stays.

Other walls are plastered with countless tweets
Otherwise, the furnishings are primarily characterized by designer furniture. You can find a small insight here on the YouTube channel “Rules for Rebels (around 1:12):

Crypto House looking for tenants – or buyers: The house is apparently looking for guests who have always wanted to fall asleep surrounded by cryptocurrencies and NFTs.
It is currently offered on booking.com for an average of 820 euros per night; Airbnb shows a similar price plus fees – where you have to book at least two nights.
Notably, however: As of now, the vast majority of dates are bookable in 2023, only very few dates are not available. The house does not seem to have too many guests in sight currently.
Additionally, the site Kotaku reports that the house is also up for sale. It should currently be available on the “Zillow” portal for only 949,000 dollars – after originally seeking buyers for 1.2 million dollars back in October 2022 (via Kotaku).
Here, interest also seems to be limited. However, the enthusiasm for the topic of crypto and NFTs in general has definitely faded after the big hype.
An investor known as “NFT God” made a fortune with NFTs and other digital currencies. But due to a mistake, everything is now gone. However, it seems that the loss of his fortune is the least of his worries.
Our cover image is a symbolic image.
A well-known investor named “NFT God” is known for having supposedly made a fortune with NFTs and other digital currencies. He became famous for a strange NFT ape that everyone calls “Henry.”
On Twitter, the investor explained that he has lost his “entire digital livelihood.” And that was due to a small, silly mistake:
Last night, my entire digital livelihood was destroyed.
Every account that is linked to me personally and professionally was hacked and used to harm others.
Less important is that I lost a significant part of my fortune
A “sponsored link” destroys a livelihood in seconds
What exactly happened? The well-known investor “NFT God” wanted to install streaming software on his computer. But instead of downloading the official software, he clicked on a contaminated link. He explains himself on Twitter:
Yesterday afternoon, I downloaded OBS onto my personal desktop computer.
OBS is an industry-standard video streaming software. I was looking forward to streaming some video games live for the first time in my life.
What I didn’t know was that I had clicked on the sponsored link on Google.
And this is where the disaster began. Suddenly, his Twitter account was hacked, and access to his digital possessions was gone. His hacked accounts also sent fake and malicious messages to friends and acquaintances.
What are these “sponsored links”? When you search for specific software or a website, Google shows you so-called “Sponsored Ads” or “ads” in the top search results.
The problem is: In some cases, these ads look very similar to the correct websites. And exactly the mistake of confusing an ad with the official website happened to the investor.
Instead of downloading OBS from the official website, he landed on a fake website and installed malware from there.
This is what such “ads” look like in the search results.
Be cautious with fake websites and “free” offers
Can you protect yourself against that? Make sure to check three times before downloading a file from the internet. If you are not sure, double-check the URL and whether it is really the manufacturer’s website. Google clearly marks such links.
However, some fraudsters also take advantage of the opportunity and create websites that look very similar to the original. The website looks similar, and the URL often differs only slightly from the original.
Make sure to check our example picture: If you search for the VLC media player, you will also find a website that we have marked for you. This is a fake page that has nothing to do with the official provider. In some tests, the fake page was the first search result for us.
The site vlc.de offers fake and dangerous software. Always use official sources.
Such fake pages exist for popular software such as VLC Media Player, Discord, Steam, or graphics card software endlessly. These pages are often completely translated into German and look real, but don’t be fooled by them.
Furthermore, you should stay away from websites that offer you paid tools and software for free. In many cases, you will download malware here that has nothing to do with the official tool.
Make sure to pay attention here or use well-known German websites like Heise and others that also host the software in some cases.
In Pokémon GO the Lunar New Year event runs from today, bringing you numerous monsters and bonuses once again. We from MeinMMO have looked at which Pokémon are particularly worthwhile and show you where to find them.
Which event is it? In Pokémon GO, the annual Lunar New Year is currently being celebrated, bringing you plenty of new spawns. As you may know from the past, this year it will mainly revolve around red monsters and fire-type Pokémon. This year’s mascot of the Lunar New Year is Flampion.
But which of the numerous monsters are actually worth it? We have taken a look for you and will show you 11 monsters that you should secure for yourself.
How long does the event run?The event “Lunar New Year” runs from January 19, 2023, at 10:00 AM local time to January 23, 2023, at 8:00 PM local time.
That’s why you should secure these 11 monsters
What does the ranking show? In the following ranking, we present 11 monsters that you can get during the Lunar New Year event in the wild, in raids, or from 7 km eggs. We explain why catching them is worthwhile and how you can find each monster in the game. The ranking is based on their locations in the game.
1. Karpador
Karpador
Why is this Pokémon worth it? Karpador is a water-type Pokémon from the 1st generation, which can evolve into Garados. Its evolution can impress with a strong attack value and good attack combinations, making it one of the best water attackers in Pokémon GO. Additionally, Garados has a temporary Mega Evolution that makes it even stronger.
In the Master League of PvP battles, Garados is also a suitable candidate that should not be missing from your team. Furthermore, the event gives you the opportunity to progress in your “Angler” medal. For that, you need to catch 1,000 large specimens to earn it in platinum.
Where can you find it during the Lunar New Year? Karpador can be found in the wild throughout the entire event. With a little luck, you might even encounter a shiny version.
2. Scoppel
Scoppel
Why is this Pokémon worth it? The normal-type Pokémon Scoppel might also be interesting for some PvP players. The little rabbit can evolve into Grebbit, which can impress in the Super League with a moveset of Mud Shot, Fire Punch, and Earthquake. However, for raids, this little monster is less interesting.
Where can you find it during the Lunar New Year? Scoppel spawns in the wild during the Lunar New Year. You can also get it through the event quest “Send 3 gifts with a sticker.” With a bit of luck, you can also catch Scoppel as shiny. Alternatively, you can find Grebbit in level 3 raids, but without a shiny chance.
3. Flampion
Flampion
Why is this Pokémon worth it? You should not miss out on the event mascot. It comes from the 5th generation, is a fire-type, and can evolve into Flampivian.
Flampivian can score primarily with a strong attack value and deals significant damage to opponents with its attack combination. Thus, it is one of the best fire attackers in the game. However, it doesn’t play much of a role in the GO Battle League.
Where can you find it during the Lunar New Year? Flampion will be found virtually everywhere in the game in the coming days. So keep an eye out for it in the wild, in level 1 raids, and in 7 km eggs.
Also, it hides in the limited research “Happy Wishes” for the Lunar New Year and in the event quest “Catch 25 Pokémon.” With a bit of luck, you can also hope for a shiny encounter.
4. Galar-Flampion
Galar-Flampion
Why is this Pokémon worth it? Flampion has another form: Galar-Flampion. You can also find it in the game in the coming days. It is an ice-type and can evolve into Galar-Flampivian.
This evolution can also impress with its attack values and is currently the best ice attacker in the game with its moveset of Ice Fang and Avalanche. So, you should definitely have it in your team for raids.
Where can you find it during the Lunar New Year? Unlike the “normal” Flampion, you cannot find Galar-Flampion in the wild. However, it defends the level 1 raids, hides in 7 km eggs, and can be found in the event quest “Catch 25 Pokémon,” potentially even as shiny.
5. Riolu
Riolu
Why is this Pokémon worth it? Another strong Pokémon that you should secure during the Lunar New Year is Riolu. This fighting-type Pokémon can usually only be found in 10 km eggs, which makes it somewhat rarer than other monsters in this ranking.
It can evolve into Lucario, which, due to its high attack value, is one of the best fighting attackers in Pokémon GO and can also hold its own as a strong steel attacker. In the Super and Hyper League, Lucario secures the 54th place with a moveset of Counter, Power-up Punch, and Shadow Ball in the PvPoke ranking.
Where can you find it during the Lunar New Year? During the Lunar New Year, Riolu hatches from 7 km eggs. With a bit of luck, you might encounter a shiny version.
6. Sheinux
Sheinux
Why is this Pokémon worth it? In the coming days, you should also look out for the electric-type Pokémon Sheinux. The Pokémon from the 4th generation can evolve into Luxtra, which is one of the best electric attackers in Pokémon GO. However, it is less interesting in the GO Battle League.
Outside of specific events, it is otherwise very rarely found in the game and is mostly hatched from the 5 km eggs from adventure sync. So if you still need a strong specimen, you should take advantage of the coming days.
Where can you find it during the Lunar New Year? Sheinux will appear in level 1 raids during the event. There you can also find it in its shiny form.
By the way: What shinies I like best in Pokémon GO, I explain in the following article:
Why is this Pokémon worth it? Another strong fire-type Pokémon that you might encounter in the coming days is Lohgock. This monster from the 3rd generation has a high attack value and can score as one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO with its fire and fighting attacks. Additionally, it has a temporary Mega Evolution that can be advantageous in raids.
Where can you find it during the Lunar New Year? Lohgock defends the level 3 raids during the event and can even be found in its shiny form with a bit of luck afterwards. Alternatively, you can find Flemmli, the pre-evolution of Lohgock, in the field research “Open 3 gifts.”
A selection of the best attackers in Pokémon GO is shown in the following video.
Start video
Pokémon GO: The strongest attackers of all types in the video
8. Regice
Regice
Why is this Pokémon worth it? The legendary ice-type Pokémon Regice can assert itself in the GO Battle League. Especially in the Hyper League, it is at the forefront with the attack combination of Target Shot, Thunder, and Blizzard. In raids, however, you should prefer other candidates.
Where can you find it during the Lunar New Year? Regice will be found in the level 5 raids in the coming days. If you’re lucky, you can even encounter a shiny specimen.
Why is this Pokémon worth it? If you want to secure a good Mega Pokémon during the Lunar New Year, you should look out for Mega-Schlapor. It can score especially with its fighting moveset in raids. By completing appropriate Mega Raids, you can secure Mega Energy to develop your own specimen.
Where can you find it during the Lunar New Year? Mega-Schlapor will defend Mega Raids in the next few days and can be caught afterwards as a normal Schlapor. With a bit of luck, even as shiny.
By the way: If you still lack a strong specimen in your collection, you can alternatively look out for Haspiror, the pre-evolution of Schlapor, which can be found during the event in the wild and in the event quest “Send 3 gifts with a sticker.”
10. Paras & Wadribie
Paras and Wadribie
Why are these Pokémon worth it? Unlike the other Pokémon in this ranking, you should not secure Paras and Wadribie for their strong evolution, but for their special bonus.
Depending on whether you use a star piece or even benefit from a weather boost, this bonus can increase further. You can expect the following yield when you catch the monsters:
Stardust
Paras
Wadribie
without star piece
500
750
with star piece
750
1,125
with weather boost
625
938
with weather boost and star piece
938
1,406
Where can you find them during the Lunar New Year? Both Pokémon appear during the event in the research task “Trade a Pokémon.” You can also find Wadribie in the wild. With a bit of luck, you can also catch both monsters in their shiny forms.
Which monsters do you definitely want to secure in Pokémon GO during the Lunar New Year? And which Pokémon were you hoping for at this event? Let us know here at MeinMMO in the comments and exchange with other trainers.
Blizzard and NetEase will probably never be friends again. The Chinese company destroys an orc statue and criticizes Blizzard harshly.
For Chinese Blizzard fans, the last few days must have been extremely frustrating. A few months ago, Blizzard announced that it would end its long-standing partnership with NetEase. Games like World of Warcraft and Hearthstone will no longer be offered in China.
What did NetEase do? After Blizzard published a post yesterday and told the Chinese players that unfortunately it had not been able to reach a compromise with NetEase, it seems NetEase could not let that go unchallenged. Apparently, the Chinese company believes they are being blamed here.
Blizzard made it clear that it only wants to extend the current contract by 6 months to look for new partners during that time, to whom it will then grant a longer contract (over 3 years). According to NetEase, it stated (translated):
For unknown reasons, Blizzard reached out to NetEase again last week with an offer to achieve a so-called 6-month extension of the game services and other conditions, clarifying that they would not stop searching for other potential partners during that time. As far as we know, all other negotiations by Blizzard with other partners are based on a 3-year contract. Considering the non-reciprocity, unfairness, and other conditions related to the company, the parties ultimately could not reach an agreement.
From our perspective, Blizzard’s proposal – and today’s surprising announcement – is garbage, inappropriate, and commercially illogical. [Blizzard’s] self-overestimation fails to take into account how players and NetEase stand in this matter, with their “we want it all, riding a donkey while looking for a horse and ‘we break up but stay together’ behavior.
A future cooperation between Blizzard and NetEase now seems almost completely excluded due to the recent reactions. After the failed negotiations, NetEase has not only begun to destroy its previous offices but also to demolish the gigantic orc axe. You can see a clip of this radical destruction action on wowhead.
NetEase employees were able to participate in this “action” and were later rewarded with a “Blizzard Green Tea.” This may seem odd at first, but in the Chinese context, “Green Tea” is a modern, quite strong (and often sexist) insult. Women referred to as “Green Tea Bitches” are those who outwardly seem elevated, conservative, and noble while presenting themselves as “pure and innocent” – but in reality are “self-absorbed whores” who are only concerned with their outward appearance (especially on social media).
So it can be concluded that NetEase is “a little” furious about the failed deal. The idea that Blizzard and NetEase will ever cooperate again seems unlikely at this point.
What do you think about this approach? Can you understand NetEase’s reaction? Or is it simply unprofessional?

The European Parliament has today, on January 18, passed a resolution on video games and gaming. Consumers are to be better protected, especially young people. A focus of the new video game policy is on in-game purchases and loot boxes. Representatives of the gaming industry express their “concern”: The focus on stricter measures for in-game purchases is not welcomed.
What exactly has the Parliament done? The European Parliament today expressed support for a report focused on video games and the users of these games. The report was presented by Member of the European Parliament Adriana Malonado López, a Spanish social democrat, and received 577 votes in favor, 56 against, and 16 abstentions.
The report includes over a dozen proposals on how the EU should handle video games in the future.
These are the key issues that the EU should now address: Among other things, it is about making video games more transparent. The age recommendation PEGI is mentioned as a “good system”; it could become even more transparent and provide more information to consumers about content, target audience, and potential in-game purchases.
The EU Commission is also to investigate what influence loot boxes and other ways to purchase in-game items have on consumers – and if deemed necessary, also take action.
EU wants to promote gaming – announcing annual award
Are there only problems in gaming? No, the EU explicitly praises gaming and states that it wants to develop a “European video game strategy” to realize the full potential of the industry.
Therefore, it now wants to announce an annual video game award.
It is said that the report would highlight the positive aspects of the industry but also raise awareness of the social risks, such as the impact of gaming on mental health. This could affect especially young players. Therefore, it wants to establish uniform rules for the EU and strengthen consumer protection, with a special focus on minors.
With gamescom, Europe at least has a major gaming fair:

MeinMMO at gamescom 2022 – Here are our highlights
Representatives of the gaming industry express “concern”
How does the industry react? Representatives from two associations representing the gaming industry have already expressed themselves in a joint statement. They are “concerned” that the focus is on stricter rules for in-game purchases.
Consumer protection in Europe is already sufficient to sanction unfair measures. The problem is not the rules but rather a lack of enforcement of these rules.
In a statement, it says: European players have more choices among excellent games than ever before, thanks to the increased diversity of business models that the gaming industry has developed. Legislators should protect the right to access cultural products while maintaining the high standard of European consumer protection.
Here in Germany, we had a discussion about loot boxes just a few months ago. However, those targeted by the criticism did not feel addressed at all. They demanded strict rules from legislators; perhaps they will indeed come soon:
In Lost Ark a new class was released yesterday, on January 18th. For now, only in Korea. There, the Slayer brings intense action with the greatsword without driving their supporters insane, unlike their male counterpart.
What kind of class is this? The new class in Korea is called Slayer. It is female, belongs to a new base class, and is the counterpart to the male Berserker. This means she wields a greatsword and deals substantial damage.
Also, the skills are largely identical or at least similar. It’s pretty much like the previous classes, which should loosen the gender lock. That includes both Wardancer and Striker, as well as Deadeye and Gunslinger.
The classes therefore only differ in nuances, tripods, and class engravings, which, however, constitute a large part of the gaming experience.
What differentiates the Slayer from the Berserker? Aside from minor changes in some skills, the major difference is mainly the class engravings. Here, the Slayer does without the probably best-known mechanic of the Berserker, which regularly sent your group members and supporters into panic.
Because the “Mayhem” engraving, which significantly increases your damage but reduces your maximum health by 75%, does not exist for the Slayer. Instead, her engravings are named “Executioner” and “Predator”.
While the Executioner engraving works very similarly to the Berserker’s second class engraving, “Berserker’s Technique”, the Predator engraving introduces a new concept for the class with the hefty greatsword.
With it, you collect what’s called Fatique points with each hit that strikes an opponent. For each of these points, you receive 10% of your rage and 3% of your mana back. Additionally, the critical damage of rage skills is increased by 40%.
At the same time, each Fatique point also consumes 10% more of your rage. However, the cooldown for Berserker mode has been completely removed. You can imagine the playstyle to be somewhat similar to the Surge engraving of the Deathblade.
You can see the trailer for the new class here:

Europe has to be patient – But for how long?
When will the Slayer come to us? Currently, we can only estimate that, as there has been no official statement from Amazon on the matter.
Nevertheless, we can comparatively safely assume that the Slayer will make it to the western version of Lost Ark in 2023. There are several reasons for this.
The next class confirmed for the west is the Painter, which is set to arrive in April. Shortly thereafter, in the summer of 2023, the Aeromancer will follow. This means that by the middle of the year, only one class from what Korea currently has is missing in the west, and that is the Slayer.
A rapid implementation is also supported by the fact that Amazon announced at the release that they want to quickly ease the gender lock in the west. The other classes doing this, namely Striker and Gunslinger, were therefore already available at our launch.
So much speaks in favor of the Slayer appearing for us in the west sooner rather than later. When exactly that will happen is still unclear.
How is the Slayer being received? So far, the new class is being received very positively. Large streamers, such as ZealsAmbition on Twitch, have already played a Slayer in the endgame and offered their viewers exciting gaming hours with the new class on the evening of January 18th.
Both the reactions of the chat and that of the streamer were relatively positive. How the class integrates into the meta and performs in the long run will be seen in the upcoming weeks and months.
What do you think of the Slayer and the loosening of the gender lock? Do you play Berserker and are you thinking of switching classes? Feel free to let us know in the comments here on MeinMMO.
Another killer is likely to be removed from Dead by Daylight. Which license will the developers lose this time?
Update 19.01.2023: Behaviour Interactive has now commented on the rumors and denied them. Leatherface will remain in Dead by Daylight for the foreseeable future, and the developers stated:
“Thank you for taking the time to address the rumors regarding Leatherface’s departure from Dead by Daylight. We can inform you that Leatherface will continue to be a part of Dead by Daylight. He is here to stay!”
The DbD account has also clarified on Twitter that Leatherface will stay. So you can still be camped in the basement.
Original report: Dead by Daylight is a game that has almost continually grown over the last 7 years. However, at least in terms of content, the horror game has already experienced a setback, as the developers lost the “Stranger Things” license after a few years. Now a second killer could face the same fate and could disappear from the game. We are talking about Leatherface, also known as “Bubba” from “Texas Chainsaw Massacre”.
Where does the rumor come from? There are already initial hints in the PTB for the next patch. Data miners had found some new clues in the game files. Leatherface’s known perks have received additional lines of code that suggest the perks will soon receive “alternative names”.

A second hint at Leatherface’s disappearance comes from the Twitter account “DbDLeaks”. While this is not an official Twitter account of Dead by Daylight, this account has reliably leaked data from upcoming events and happenings in the past few years. DbDLeaks wrote on January 6:
Farewell, Bubba. Enjoy your last months in the fog. I will forever miss being camped by you in the basement.

Is it likely? Unfortunately, yes. This is primarily due to the fact that the “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” franchise wants to release its own horror game that is set to come out in 2023. It seems likely that the creators want to secure the exclusive rights to the franchise in order to have Leatherface in their game – and not also in another game.
More about Dead by Daylight can be found here on MeinMMO:
What would this mean? If Dead by Daylight really loses the license for “Texas Chainsaw Massacre”, then – as was the case with Stranger Things – the character would likely be removed from sale. New players would then no longer be able to access the killer. However, players who have already purchased the character and its perks in the past are likely to keep and continue using it, just like it was with the Demogorgon, Nancy, and Steve.
An official announcement from Dead by Daylight regarding this matter is still pending, but those who haven’t acquired Leatherface yet should probably prepare internally to do so in the coming weeks – before it might be too late.

It’s official now: Season 2 has been postponed. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will kick off the next content cycle only on February 15. However, the developers promise to fulfill some of the biggest player wishes. What is already known about the new Season 2 can be found here in the overview.
Through the Battle Pass of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, you can always quite accurately say when a new season starts. Therefore, Season 2 was supposed to start at the beginning of February 2023.
Dataminers have already found hints that the new season will take longer to arrive, and now it’s official:
Which contents are officially known and what leaks have already predicted can be found on MeinMMO.

What has been officially announced? Along with the announcement of the postponement, CoD has already made a few content promises.
Accordingly, they want to implement a lot based on player feedback. However, the developers are not being specific about this. Currently, there are many issues that players are criticizing.
At the forefront are the missing statistics in Warzone 2 – to this day, you cannot see how many kills or victories you have accumulated in the Battle Royale. Whether this will come at the start of Season 2 remains unclear.
On the other hand, the developers are discussing 2 other major community wishes that have now been officially announced:
A new, smaller map for Warzone 2
Resurgence mode for Warzone 2
Ranked mode for Modern Warfare 2
New maps, weapons, modes for MW2
What have leaks announced? Several weeks ago, supposed key arts for Season 2 appeared. Accordingly, Season 2 will have a Japanese-themed vibe, with corresponding maps.

As a new operator, a familiar face from CoD is set to return: Ronin. Already had a cameo in CoD MW 2019, and current leaks claim he is coming back as an operator in the game.
Additionally, dataminers found hints for the modes “Cranked” for CoD MW2 and “Plunder” for Warzone 2.
Experienced Call of Duty players might feel a slight déjà vu. Back in 2022, Season 2 was postponed, as Vanguard and Warzone 1 had issues.
The developers took 2 extra weeks and were indeed able to clean things up significantly and resolve many issues. It remains to be seen if this will also work this year and at the same time provide enough new content to keep players engaged.

The well-known YouTuber Linus Tech Tips tested whether a high-end gaming PC is really better than an inexpensive standard model.
Do you really play better on a high-end system compared to standard equipment? The well-known YouTuber Linus Tech Tips wanted to find that out. He is one of the largest and most famous tech YouTubers with over 15 million subscribers.
Linus tests both a system for 10,000 euros and a build for 600 euros. On paper, there are significant differences, but how does it look in practice? Here, Linus quickly has to realize that skill is necessary to truly make progress.
The 10,000 euro PC consists of the currently best PC components
What hardware is installed in the “Pay-to-Win” PC? The system uses only high-end components. Among them are the Intel Core i9-13900F and the RTX 4090 OC from ASUS, which are currently the fastest components available for purchase.
Here are all components in detail:
Intel Core i9-13900F (processor)
RTX 4090 OC Edition (graphics card)
Fractal Torrent (case)
Corsair liquid cooling (CPU)
Noctua fans (case fans)
Thermal Grizzly Contact Frame (replacement for the standard CPU mount)
Seasonic Prime PX-1300 (power supply)
EVGA Z970 Dark Kingpin (motherboard)
G-Skill Trident Z5 RGB 2×16 GB (RAM)
What peripherals are being used? The high-end system uses a 390 Hz monitor from ACER with full HD resolution, which according to Linus is the world’s first monitor with such a high refresh rate.
As for the keyboard, the team chose the Wooting 60HE. This is a 60% keyboard with analog switches, which offer particularly short response times.
How much does the entire setup cost? According to the video, the entire system cost just over 13,000 Canadian dollars. This is almost equivalent to 10,000 euros.

The official video from Linus Tech Tips about the “Pay-to-Win” PC
The 10,000 dollars would be “better invested in coaching”
Is such an expensive upgrade worth it? For most gamers who do not play professionally, such a system is not worth it. Linus explains that the 10,000 dollars that the system costs more than the “normal” build would be “better invested in coaching”. Because skill cannot be bought, and it must be learned through practice. However, in some games the frame rate can even have a direct impact on gameplay.
On paper, the latency of the high-end system is significantly lower than that of the budget system; however, in the video, he explains that he hardly feels the latency difference in everyday life (13:43 min in the video).
Why is latency so important? Latency refers to how long it takes for you to see your action (mouse click or keypress) on your monitor. Various factors play a role here:
It depends on your mouse and keyboard, how fast the response times are. Here, factors such as key types and especially the length of the activation path are important.
Furthermore, your display plays a role. The higher the Hz number, the shorter the image build time.
Additionally, it is important how long the signal takes from the PC to the server on the internet and back.
Your hardware also contributes to latency. This includes the time the graphics card needs to render the images and the subsequent processing by your processor, including software.
The famous streamer shroud once tried with Linus how much of a difference a display makes in gaming. Here too, Linus had to realize that better hardware does not make him a better player:
Since its release, a lot has changed in Fallout 76. Now, in January 2023, the survival MMO is free with PS Plus. MeinMMO spoke with the developers about the recent updates, the current state, and the future of the game.
Fallout 76 is still in the list of the best survival games here on MeinMMO. After a rough launch in November 2018, the game has undergone many changes, attracted new players, and significantly improved its reputation.
Now, at the beginning of 2023, the game is virtually free with PS Plus Essentials. Those who have the subscription can download and play Fallout 76 on PS4 and PS5 at no additional cost.
At the end of 2022, the game just received its latest update “Nuka-World on Tour,” in which players can discover new events and unlock rewards. In the interview, quest designer Carl McKevitt and design director Mark Tucker (cover image) talk about the new features and explain what has improved in recent years.

MeinMMO: I haven’t visited Appalachia in a while – it’s definitely been over a year. Why should I come back with Nuka-World on Tour? Why would now be a good time to start if I don’t know Fallout 76 at all?
Carl McKevitt: Because Cappy & Bottle, the mascots of Nuka-World, will haunt you in your dreams forever! Okay, maybe not. But seriously, the big thing is the new events and rewards. After the grim, oppressive setting and story of The Pitt, we wanted to give players a breather – filled with crazy and unpredictable fun, even for Fallout standards.
Fans of the Nuka-World DLC from Fallout 4 will find a lot to love here, as will anyone who likes Nuka-Cola. For returning players, we offer tons of new rewards that can be obtained through the events, from new, unique weapon variants to Nuka-Cade arcade machines.
MeinMMO: From what I’ve seen so far, the Ultracite Titan is one of the biggest changes in Nuka-World on Tour. Back when the Wendigo Colossus appeared, the player was turned to mush, sometimes literally. How tough is the Titan, and how do I defeat him?
Carl McKevitt: That can be a challenging fight, and we expect some players will be crushed under its meaty claws. Our “world bosses” are usually balanced around a large segment of the server that fights them together. Unlike our colossal friend Earle, [the Ultracite Titan] is in the open world of Appalachia. There is no limit to the number of players who can fight him at the same time.
Players can expect something on the level of the Queen of the Scorched… with a few mechanics that need extra attention. As a tip to defeat him: The Ultracite Crystals can only be broken with melee attacks. This also includes hitting them with firearms.
MeinMMO: Compared to game changers like Steel Dawn and Wastelanders, what does Nuka-World on Tour bring that makes Fallout 76 better?
Carl McKevitt: Nuka-Cola on Tour introduces a new area in Ash Heap for players to explore. It’s as if a Nuka-Cola meteor hit Appalachia and left all its sprightly and fun elements in its whimsical crater.
The new area has 3 new public events and a new world boss, the Ultracite Titan. We wanted to bring a variety of new events to keep the pool fresh and interesting while also providing unique themed rewards.
By the end of the year, the public events will appear on the hour, giving players plenty of chances for new loot. But even afterwards, despite being called “on Tour,” the carnival and public events will become part of the standard 20-minute event rotation.
MeinMMO: Nuka-World was first shown in Fallout 4, The Pitt comes from Fallout 3. Are you considering bringing back more old memories?
Carl McKevitt: There’s always a balance between nostalgia and creating something new. Even when we revisit classic places or ideas, we want to incorporate Appalachia and make things unique for Fallout 76. Players can expect that we will continue to mix both as the game evolves.
MeinMMO: Nuka-Cola itself is part of Fallout DNA. On a scale from 1 to Nuka Cola Quantum, how many nods to the “good old days” does Nuka-World hold for veterans?
Carl McKevitt: Trick question. The answer is: “Nuka-Cola Twist,” which just happens to be the brand new flavor we are introducing. There are definitely references to the Nuka-World DLC from Fallout 4. Clever lore experts shouldn’t have any trouble finding those as well. We wanted to capture the feel of a full amusement park in a road show, so there are also many visual references to the source material.
Nuka-Cola has been part of Fallout for a long time. Here you can test which flavor you are:
“Anyone who hasn’t played since Steel Dawn will find many surprises”
MeinMMO: What are the biggest gameplay changes since Steel Dawn, which appeared 2 years ago?
Mark Tucker: Oh wow, where to start? Anyone who hasn’t played since Steel Dawn will find many surprises. We’ve added tons of features since then. There’s a lot more for players to dive into.
We’ve introduced many features that make it easier for players to play Fallout 76 the way they want and improve the experience overall. Some things that I consider to be literal game changers in Fallout 76 since Steel Dawn are S.P.E.C.I.A.L. loadouts, C.A.M.P. slots, legendary crafting, and Fallout World.
All of these things have given players more ways to play Fallout 76 their way. Additionally, we’ve brought quality-of-life improvements, from managing inventory to the Pip-Boy to making looting corpses easier. Anyone who comes back now should find that it’s much easier to play and more fun.
I encourage any older players who haven’t played in a while to come back and give Fallout 76 another chance. It’s really a new game now, and we are committed to continuing our efforts.
These are the changes Mark Tucker is talking about:
Fallout 76: The trailer for the update “Steel Dawn”
MeinMMO: You finally banned “illegal weapons” that were much stronger than intended. Why did it take so long?
Mark Tucker: We tested long-term efforts to remove the illegal weapons on the test server last year. We haven’t made the removal yet, but we want to do so soon.
We want to be very sure that when we do this and remove or change items from the inventory of existing characters, we are not accidentally removing other items that were not intended for removal. Such a change takes time to implement and, most importantly, time to test.
We understand that this change is coming later than many would have liked. But again, I want to emphasize that a change like this in games like Fallout 76 is not trivial, and we want to make sure it goes smoothly when we do it.
If you missed it, the “illegal weapons” were one of the largest issues in the game:
MeinMMO: How was the last year for Fallout 76 overall? What were the highlights that attracted the most new or returning players?
Mark Tucker: The last year was great for Fallout 76. We started 2022 with our most ambitious seasonal event yet, Invaders from Beyond. Player feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Our players asked for more “mainstay” public events, so we responded with Test Your Metal – where we brought 3 new public events.
In the second half of 2022, things really picked up. We released Expeditions: The Pitt in September and followed it with Nuka-World on Tour in December.
Both releases brought tons of new content for players and went really well for us. We appreciate all player feedback over the last year, both positive and critical. We take feedback seriously and do our best to respond to as much as possible.
MeinMMO: You gave people a taste of what a new region could be with The Pitt, but Nuka-World on Tour just reshapes an existing area. When can we expect a map expansion?
Mark Tucker: Our Vault-Tec engineers are working on an interesting experiment regarding Appalachia. But I can’t share anything or promise anything yet. Hopefully, the experiments go well, and we can make their results public soon. And if not, I guess we’ll have to lock the vault with them in it.
MeinMMO: Thank you for the answers!
Fallout 76 still has a loyal player base, where the role-playing aspect stands out – but unfortunately, recently has been in the spotlight for negative headlines:
In the past, people spent a lot of time chatting with other players in MMORPGs. According to MeinMMO author Anny Bader, this rarely happens today and she misses it.
MMORPGs are dying. I do not mean that the genre is dying, but that the games themselves feel extinct, even though thousands of players are online. I have been passionately playing MMORPGs for years and still log in daily. But one thing has been increasingly diminishing over time: communication in chat.
Unless bots are propagating their annoying ads, almost no one in modern MMORPGs like Lost Ark and New World talks on global channels. I have noticed this more and more for months, and I am not the only one.
In a reddit thread, players recently discussed why MMORPGs feel less intense than before. “MMORPGs were the OG social networks,” writes one user. Others say that social interactions in the games have now been replaced, which is why they do not feel the same as before. I share this opinion.
Who is speaking here? Anny has been working as an MMORPG author for MeinMMO since early 2022. She has been playing MMORPGs for many years and has gathered experience in Lost Ark, Final Fantasy XIV, Metin2, Atlantica and New World.
I lack the urge to log in
Back then, we are talking about the year 2010, there was always a lot going on in the in-game chat of my current MMORPG Metin2 – both in the server chat and in the town. Players were hanging around and were sometimes online just to chat. I was one of them.
Additionally, I had many blinking messages at the edge of my screen: private messages. These could only be sent and read when both players were online. The history was not saved, so no one could “ghost” someone for days as happens today when sending a message.
Today, it is different. No one in the MMORPG is waiting for me. If they are, they write to me on Discord. The urge to log in and see what is happening has disappeared.
Can the trend be reversed? Hard to say. One would hope so, because 2023 is getting some great new MMOs:

Here is gameplay of the 5 best MMOs coming out in 2023
In the past, something always happened on my server. In between, I was in a guild that was constantly arguing. This happened in the guild chat of the game and could not be read anywhere else – I wanted to be a part of it and not miss the drama.
Furthermore, I had exchanged ICQ numbers or Skype IDs with some players, so I logged in to chat with them. I also talked to people on ICQ and Skype, but there were no gigantic Discord servers with almost infinite capacities back then.
Of course, I also played the MMORPG, but the social aspect was an important one for me back then. The games felt much more alive.
A significant factor: Dungeon finders make it too easy in-game. Group searching happens automatically, so no one has to interact with others. In modern MMORPGs like Lost Ark, I would not even dare to message someone in the game and ask for a dungeon.
If I want to keep up with what the community is doing in my favorite MMORPGs today, I do not have to log in. A glance at Twitter, Reddit, or Discord is usually enough since everyone exchanges information here anyway. Organization is done through these platforms and anyone can read about what is happening.
MMORPGs do not feel as social to me as they used to. The conversations take place on other platforms. The in-game chat can even be turned off, which many do.
Also, players exchange information in Facebook groups. Hardly anyone uses communication channels within the MMORPG itself. If you send a message, it might not even get through because the other person turned off the chat. Everyone knows that one player who never responds…
You have confirmed my impression, by the way. We recently asked you on MeinMMO if you even use global chats. Not many of you have voted yet, but the trend is that hardly anyone chats.
Final Fantasy XIV is the only MMORPG in which I have directly experienced social interaction in the last few years. Otherwise, everything happens through social media, which I find very unfortunate. MMORPGs are losing a piece of their soul.
My colleagues Benedict Grothaus and MeinMMO demon Cortyn experience it quite differently, by the way. In WoW, they constantly have interactions with other players in global channels.
Maybe I am playing the wrong games, maybe the two of them are just lucky. But all of this is greatly diminishing my desire to play. I barely want to log in anymore.

Pokémon GO has introduced the proto forms of Kyogre and Groudon in more detail. Now it is known how they work, what bonuses they bring, and that they will become incredibly strong.
What are proto forms? The proto forms of Kyogre and Groudon are an improved version of the two legendary monsters, which are created through “protomorphosis”. This resembles the function of mega evolutions in Pokémon GO.
When will the form be in the game? Proto-Kyogre and Proto-Groudon will first appear in proto raids for participants of the Hoenn Tour in Las Vegas.
For all other trainers, the global Hoenn Tour at the end of February is the crucial date to encounter Proto-Kyogre and Proto-Groudon and to be able to perform the protomorphosis.
How does protomorphosis work? Similar to mega energies, “proto energy” is needed for Kyogre and Groudon. This can be obtained from the new “proto raids” that will appear during the Hoenn Tour, as well as from certain research tasks.
The proto form lasts for eight hours. The energy costs for protomorphosis decrease the more often the Pokémon performs it.

Pokémon Go Season 9: Mysterious Wishes Trailer
How strong will Proto-Kyogre and Proto-Groudon be in Pokémon GO
How strong will the proto forms be: If you catch Kyogre or Groudon in proto raids, they will each receive a special attack.
Kyogre can learn “Origin Wave” (130 damage in trainer, arena, and raid battles)
Groudon learns “Primal Rend” (130 damage in trainer, arena, and raid battles)
After a preliminary analysis of the upcoming proto forms (via reddit by user Teban54), the two proto forms rank at the top of the attacker list of their respective types with these attacks.
Proto-Kyogre will be the strongest water attacker with the special attack, while Proto-Groudon becomes the best ground attacker. The normal forms of both monsters also benefit from the new attack.
But it’s not just their own strength that makes the two monsters extremely useful.
These bonuses do the proto forms have in Pokémon GO
Both monsters bring special bonuses when they use their proto form.
Proto-Kyogre enhances all water, electric, and bug attacks in raid battles. So when you raid together, several types benefit from an attack bonus. Additionally, Proto-Kyogre gives you extra candies and XP if it is your buddy and you catch Pokémon of these three types.
With Proto-Groudon, it’s similar. It brings attack bonuses for attacks of the types fire, grass, and ground. Moreover, there are also extra candies and XP when catching these three types if Proto-Groudon is your buddy.
Furthermore, the proto level of both monsters increases the more often you perform the protomorphosis. Then the bonuses will improve.
After 3 years, Call of Duty is revising its Battle Pass for the new shooters Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. You now have more control over the unlockable items and can even earn more CoD Points than before. MeinMMO explains the new system in detail.
Barely any live service game can do without it: the Battle Pass. You exchange playtime for in-game items or premium currency and pay for the pass once per live season.
The catch is: The items in the Battle Pass would be significantly more expensive individually. While some cosmetic bundles from CoD cost 20 Euros and provide 8 items, you get over 100 items in the Battle Pass for only about 10 Euros. But you have to play the game to get the items.
With CoD MW2 and Warzone 2, the Battle Pass is being revised; it now works less linearly. We embed the trailer for you and explain the details of the new Battle Pass system below:

CoD MW2 & Warzone 2: Trailer for the revamped Battle Pass
CoD MW2 & Warzone 2: New Battle Pass System
The Battle Pass for Call of Duty costs 1,100 CoD Points, which is roughly 10 Euros. Some tiers are free, like the new weapons. However, most are locked behind this paywall.
In the past, progress was linear – the Battle Pass had 100 tiers, and you completed the so-called “tiers” from 1 to 100.
With Warzone 2 and CoD MW2, things look different now. You unlock “Battle Token Tier Skips,” have a sort of map in front of you, and can unlock sectors one after another.
Each sector on the Battle Pass map contains 5 items to unlock – when a sector is full, you unlock new sectors. Once you have completed all sectors on the map, you unlock the last sector, which reveals extra rewards.
Furthermore, the Battle Pass is worthwhile for frequent-playing penny-pinchers. You receive 1,400 CoD Points from the pass and can earn 300 Points as a “profit”.
Small tip: If you fill the Battle Pass to the brim but haven’t purchased it yet, always buy it. You will then exchange the 1,100 CoD Points directly for 1,400 CoD Points.
If you want to get informed about the contents, check out the English CoD blog on the topic (via callofduty.com). You can expect the following items:
2 new weapons (free)
Operator skins
Legendary rewards upon completion of the pass
Cosmetics like calling cards, emblems, sprays, and charms
Vehicle items like battle songs or skins
XP token for an experience point boost

Machine guns have not been the Guardians’ first choice for pure boss damage in PvE of Destiny 2 for a while now. However, that might have changed with “Retrofit Escapade” from Season 19. The MG not only fires mega fast, but it also clears everything easily with the right traits – even dungeon bosses. MeinMMO tells you how to get it.
Update from January 18: Bungie has adjusted the explosions of “Volatile Rounds” with Hotfix 6.0.3.4 mentioned in this article. It was fixed that detonations were triggered more than expected at a higher rate of fire. (via bungie.net) This takes away some of the weapon’s dominance. Still, it is not entirely useless. With the perks shown here, it remains strong and shreds enemies in seconds.
What makes the weapon so good? “Retrofit Escapade” is the new Seraph Void machine gun from the ongoing Season 19. It has a fire rate of 900 and fires extremely quickly. But it also effectively utilizes two other advantages.
The weapon perk “Targeting” gives you a damage bonus of 17% when you hit the same target for a few seconds. The damage increases to 40% at a continuous rate of fire.
“Retrofit Escapade” also deals Void damage and can thus be perfectly combined with “Volatile Rounds” from Season 16. This makes the weapon even better, as additional hits on volatile enemies cause the target to explode further. This effect is overwhelming on the weapon, to say the least.
If you also play a Void Hunter and the exotic “Falcon’s Deception,” the weapon automatically gets “Volatile Rounds” after you’ve gone invisible and causes additional bonus damage. In PvE, this is a damage bonus of 35% that lasts for 5 seconds.
This is the Season 19 machine gun “Retrofit Escapade”
All this currently results in a hellishly good machine gun that you shouldn’t miss out on and even casts Linear Fusion Rifles in the shadow in many places.
So anyone who makes the effort to obtain the blueprint for the weapon not only gets a weapon with high damage but also one that offers practical versatility and great ammunition economy. Fun factor included.
Initial damage tests are overwhelming: The player TeeGlizzy conducted damage tests on the Ogre in the “Siphon of Greed” dungeon and presented them on Reddit:
However, his crafted machine gun “Retrofit Escapade” dealt a whopping 1.5 million damage and even had ammunition left over.
However, some players in the Destiny Reddit don’t believe that this can be intended by Bungie, especially since there should normally be a delay between the volatile explosions.
In the Reddit, the Guardian krokenlochen explains:
Normally, there’s a delay between volatile explosions on a single target. However, with a fast weapon and a decent damage buff, or stacking with [the grenade launcher] Withering Collector, you can keep the volatile explosions up continuously […] and deal more damage.
So if Bungie doesn’t adjust anything here, the Void machine gun “Retrofit Escapade” could become a real high-end DPS option after the damage rebalancing of heavy weapons in the upcoming Lightfall DLC, especially since Linear Fusion Rifles are supposed to be nerfed by 10 – 20%.
Currently, players can relatively easily obtain the machine gun. You can either buy it at the Exo Frame in the H.E.L.M. or play the seasonal activities. In doing so, you either need to hope for a perfect luck drop or better yet get a red frame weapon to tune. Once you have received 5 tuneable Depth weapons, you can craft the machine gun as a God roll.
We recommend building the MG with the following perk combination:
“Tactical Magazine”: Offers several tactical improvements.
“All Good Things Are Four” (improved): Scoring 4 precision hits gives 2 rounds back into the magazine. Resets if no precision hits are scored within 2 seconds. With the improved perk, the timer between precision hits is extended.
“Targeting” (improved): Damage increases the longer this weapon stays on the target.
Masterwork: Stability.
Weapon mod: “Boss Spec” – Increased damage against bosses and vehicles.
This is what our crafted God roll for the MG “Retrofit Escapade” looks like.
If you want to increase the magazine capacity even further, you can use “Extended Magazine” instead of “Tactical Magazine”. This allows you to fire almost 200 more rounds before you need to reload.
Have you already been able to unlock the blueprint of the new machine gun? Then feel free to let us know in the comments what you think of the new DPS secret tip and whether you also believe that this is much too good to be true.
At least the damage values of this machine gun are no fake, as the subscription service leak:

Player Posts Secret Documents About a Fighter Jet
What did the player do? The “War Thunder” player spacenavy90 has allegedly posted four military documents in the official forum of the game. He was participating in a discussion there and shared the information with the sentence: “In my research, I came across something interesting.”
He then goes on to detail the information the documents provide and shares the materials with the rest of the forum. The documents contain information about an American fighter jet, the F-16 Fighting Falcon, which was also the subject of the forum discussion.
However, the information is not intended for public disclosure and has been deleted in the official “War Thunder” forum in the meantime. It was accessible there on Monday around 9 PM.
Who has access to the documents? Some screenshots of the documents show indications of who is allowed to access them.
For example, two of the four documents state “DoD only” (DoD stands for “U.S. Department of Defense”). Thus, only employees of the U.S. Department of Defense are permitted to see the content of the documents.
Another document is labeled as follows: “Distribution authorized to U.S. Gov’t, agencies only”.
Not the First “War Thunder” Leak of Secret Information
These incidents have occurred in the past: Although it may be hard to believe, this is not the first time a “War Thunder” player has publicly shared secret military information.
In October 2021, a player leaked information about the French tank “Leclerc 2”. He claimed that the tank’s turning speed in the game was too fast, and subsequently shared the actual turning speed. He supported his information by stating that he drives this tank in real life. He also reportedly posted parts of the manual.
A match in the MOBA DOTA 2 (Steam) can sometimes take a long time, longer than a professional player’s bladder can hold. The current world champion Oliver “Skiter” Lepko (24) urgently needed to go to the bathroom after 55 minutes in a match – but that’s against the rules.
Who is that?
Oliver “Skiter” Lepko is a highly successful professional player for the team Tundra Esports. He plays the carry there and is known for his play with heroes like Lifestealer or Faceless Void.
The 24-year-old has won a total of $1.9 million in prize money (via esportearnings). Alone, $1.78 million was won in 2022 when he won the World Championship, “The International 2022”, with his team “Tundra E-Sports”. With this victory, he became a millionaire overnight.
But even though he has made so much money with DOTA, he must also adhere to the rules.

Admins prohibit bathroom breaks – advised to use a bottle
That was the situation: A match between Tundra Esports and “Into The Breach” took a bit longer than usual. Normally, balanced professional matches in DOTA 2 last between 40 and 50 minutes. However, there are also short one-sided matches that are over in 20 minutes, and overly long, tedious matches that can last up to 70 minutes.
Skiter had reached the 55-minute mark in the match when he couldn’t hold it anymore. He had to pee. However, the rules of DOTA 2 explicitly prohibit this:
Players are not allowed to go to the bathroom during a match until it is over. The only exception is incidents that directly endanger a player’s health and require medical assistance.
All players must also always be visible with a webcam to ensure everything is above board.
The player later said he asked one of the referees if he could go to the bathroom, but received the friendly reply that it was not possible, and he was advised to pee in a bottle instead.
Caster explains: “You know, that’s why I love DOTA 2”
That was the clip: How it came across in the game is seen in a video. The game is just paused when Skiter solemnly declares: “Okay, guys. I peed in a bottle and was visible in the camera the whole time.”
The teammates respond with a “Let’s go” or a short smiley.
The two casters cannot let the whole thing go uncommented and suddenly interrupt the analysis when they read the chat: While one of the casters breaks into laughter and ends with “You know, I love DOTA,” the other tries to downplay the incident.

YouTuber was worried about his progress
This is how Rockstar Games noticed him: On September 30, the YouTuber publicly asked on Twitter whether Rockstar Games might allow the transfer of RDO accounts one-time. For this, he posted a screenshot of his nearly 5,900 play hours in RDR2 at that time.
Subsequently, Colour’s story about the possible loss of his in-game progress went viral, and some news sites picked up the story. In October, Rockstar Games responded to the request and allowed Stadia players to transfer money, gold bars, XP, role XP, and tokens to an existing PC, Xbox One, or PS4 account.
The shutdown of Stadia caught many players off guard, who had invested many hours and money into the platform. This includes MeinMMO author Jürgen Horn, who documented his experience at the end of September:
In Destiny 2, the second hotfix for Season 19 is coming. The servers will go offline today, January 18, for hotfix 6.3.0.4 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. MyMMOwill accompany the server downtime and tell you when you can’t play.
What you need to know today: The servers will be taken offline for a brief downtime today. Bungie is working on addressing current issues step by step. We will keep you updated and list what changes are expected in Destiny 2.
Important note for Stadia users: Today, January 18, 2023, the servers of Google Stadia will be shut down, and Destiny 2 will no longer be playable on the platform. Stadia users should urgently activate Cross Save to avoid losing access to their characters, items, emblems, their Bungie.net account, and their Eververse purchases, such as their season passes. Information on how to activate it is provided by Bungie on its website.
Today is the last chance to save your characters before Google Stadia is deactivated.

These times are important today: As always, today the effective inaccessibility of the servers should only last 15 minutes (via bungie.net). The time when you can’t play will remain very short.
At 5:00 PM German time, maintenance work will start in the background on all platforms.
From 5:45 PM, the servers will go offline, and you will be automatically kicked from all activities.
Around 6:00 PM, the servers are expected to come back online, and update 6.3.0.4 will be rolled out for all platforms. After the download, you can log back into the game.
The ongoing background maintenance will officially end at 7:00 PM if everything goes smoothly.
Important: Even if you have downloaded the update and are back in the game, there may still be connection issues until the end of maintenance at 7:00 PM. You may also have to expect queues at login.
Note for all Stadia users: On January 18, 2023, Stadia will be shut down, and players will lose access to their Destiny 2 characters. If you want to avoid this, you must set up Cross Save on another platform by this date. Bungie has ensured that players can use their characters on linked platforms even after Stadia is closed.
What Changes with Hotfix 6.3.0.4 in Season 19
This is what the hotfixbrings today: After hotfix 6.3.0.4, some issues with the loot shooter may disappear. MyMMO lists here some of the issues Bungie is already aware of and those our readers have pointed out:
Players may not be able to crouch after receiving the first scanner buff in the exotic mission “Operation: Seraph’s Shield.”
Progress in the exotic mission “Operation: Seraph’s Shield” may not always be triggered. Players may then not be able to turn in the scanner buff and have to start over.
Console players are sometimes invisible or cannot see their weapon.
Player name changes are not adjustable via bungie.net. Players are still waiting for the option to adjust their player names multiple times instead of just once.
The exotic dungeon bow “Hierarchy of Claims” does not correctly penetrate Hydra or Phalanx shields when combined with the artifact armor mod “Piercing Bowstring”.
If you notice any other issues in the game, the recommendation is to report them directly via the official Bungie Help forum to alert the developers. Alternatively, you can leave us a comment if you are aware of any other bugs in the game.

He was part of the legendary team “Optic Gaming,” which won the world championship title in 2017 – Scump, FormaL, Crimsix, Karma. Scump is the last of the group to retire from the top level.
In an emotional speech to friends and fans, Scump bids farewell to the CDL professional league. We will show you his speech, the reasons for his retirement, and reactions to his departure on MeinMMO.

Scump delivers an emotional speech, thanking his guests and the “crazy support” he could rely on throughout his entire career.
Even with tears in his eyes, he brings his guests to laughter – that’s what always defined Scump. He was not only the tough CoD pro but also a charismatic guy.
Although he now feels a bit worried about his future, he looks forward to the upcoming challenges. In the future, he wants to focus more on content, so he will remain in the CoD community.
What successes did Scump achieve? The highlight was winning the CoD World Championship 2017 in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Additionally, he won 31 major tournaments in the CoD professional league during his career and 2 gold medals at the X-Games.
Why the retirement? Scump says it’s difficult for him to produce content while playing Call of Duty at the highest level. Content creation has always been something he enjoyed doing.
However, he also feels a bit left behind. Scump is 27 years old and thus belongs to the “seniors” in the Call of Duty: League. He tells his teammate Shotzzy (21) in the video that he simply isn’t as fast as the new generation anymore.
What are the reactions? It almost seems like the entire CoD community is sending farewell greetings to him. The tweet about his retirement has been viewed over 31 million times, has nearly 11,000 comments and more than 230,000 likes (as of: 18.01.23 / 16:40).
In the comments, there are official greetings from CoD – the official CoD account on Twitter wrote: “Forever the king.” The CoD studios Raven Software and Sledgehammer Games also chime in.
Others thank Scump, like Warzone expert “JGOD,” who leaves a simple “Thank you.” Content creator @JaredFPS writes: “You are the inspiration for a whole generation and more, my brother. Thank you for everything you have done for Call of Duty and for the fans.”
Moreover, there are tons of crown and goat emojis in the comments (eng. GOAT = Greatest of All Time) from fans, rivals, friends, and big content creators. Many are sad but also happy about the next step in the ex-professional’s life.
A fitting farewell for one of the greatest careers in the professional field of Call of Duty. We from MeinMMO also wish Scump all the best for the future. What do you think about the retirement? Leave us a comment.
