As one of the largest streamers on Twitch, Hamburg’s Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler (28) usually spends several hours a day at the computer. This is not always comfortable for the eyes, especially when, like him, you use the White Mode. However, the streamer does not want to be addressed about it.

Why is this such a topic for Trymacs? The streamer justifies his reaction by stating that he has explained several times over the years that and why he uses the Light Mode. It’s not just a simple preference.
Trymacs has “exaggerated White Mode”: on all 4 screens and additional lights that would blind him quite a bit when looking directly – “everything is brutally bright here!”
What’s it all for? Trymacs explains that he only does it for the sake of his viewers. Have they ever seen him tired in his almost daily streams, regardless of the time? No! That wouldn’t happen, because:

To substantiate his point, Trymacs shows a clip of his friend Chefstrobel, who is also active on Twitch and YouTube. However, in the recording, he looks quite sleepy – that’s what Dark Mode looks like.
The streamer warns extensively about the dangers of night mode: They would all be sleeping, yawning, sluggish, and saying nothing for 10 minutes.

The streamer group OTK from Twitch is teaming up with a development studio. Under the title “Project Honor”, they announce their own action RPG.
OTK is currently creating their own online RPG with Project Honor. Their ideas are being implemented by Notorious Studios, a small studio that includes former WoW developers Chris Kaleki and Douglas Frazer. They named the studio after their guild in WoW.
Who are OTK? The abbreviation stands for One True King. It is a group of Twitch streamers, most of whom have a connection to MMORPGs like WoW, Final Fantasy XIV, or Lost Ark. They include Asmongold, Mizkif, and tipsoutbaby, for example. They occasionally work together, develop joint formats, and support each other.
The group had already announced their partnership with Notorious Studios 7 months prior. In a video from summer 2022, tipsoutbaby announced that they will be working side by side with the developers to create Project Honor. The RPG was first introduced at that time.
On Tuesday, January 31, 2023, Notorious Studios spoke out in a new video. They present screenshots of the RPG and announce a playtest.

What kind of game is it? According to the developers, Project Honor will be a classic online action RPG where you can play solo or together with friends. Using Unreal Engine 5, the studio according to the website will create “beautiful worlds filled with mysteries and dangers”.

YouTuber TheLazyPeon asked his community for their opinions on current MMORPGs and compared them with his own:
Streamer Brandon “Atrioic” Ewing has been active on Twitch and on YouTube since 2011, building his channels over the years. But Twitter users have now caught him clicking on a page during a stream that featured paid “deepfakes” of Twitch streamers. This ruined his reputation and career.
What was the streamer caught doing?
On January 30, a clip circulated showing that Twitch streamer Atrioc had a tab open in his browser that displayed a deepfake website (via twitter). It featured montages based on famous female Twitch streamers. The images and videos were pornographic. The clip has since been deleted – there has been a widespread attempt to curb the distribution of the clip and the site.
The website is structured similarly to OnlyFans, as Kotaku reports: It requires a subscription to view the images. Therefore, it was clear that Atrioc must have paid for the service.
It is also sensitive that Atrioc is friends with some of the female Twitch streamers who were pornographically depicted in the deepfakes, and they only found out about the existence of the website through this mistake. Affected streamers like QTCinderella expressed deep shock and concern that such images exist.

The streamer emphasizes that he is the “most vanilla guy”, the “most normal guy”, and would never do such a thing again. He is very sorry for it.

Twitch streamer shuts down site – Atrioc will pay for it
What about the website? As Vice writes, the operator of this website has since taken the content offline and published an apology. It is said to have been “eye-opening” how Atrioc was treated after he was caught. Only then did the site operator apparently realize what exactly he was putting online…
Atrioc himself explains (via twitter), that the closure was probably not as voluntary as the operator portrays it. The website was shut down through the efforts of streamer QTCinderella and a law firm.
Atrioc says he will cover the closing costs and will also financially support women who need legal assistance.
To show that he wants to focus on this, he will stop producing content. At least for a while.

What characterizes the gameplay? Uncharted Water Origins relies on a massive open world where you cross the oceans with your pirate ship and explore up to 60 different cities as well as attractions. Naoki Yoshida, the head of Final Fantasy XIV, has commented on the use of unauthorized tools in the MMORPG. He wonders why the community always wants tougher challenges only to dilute the experience with third-party software.
While third-party tools and mods are prohibited in Final Fantasy XIV, as there is no anti-cheat system, the developers have no way to monitor the use of these programs. The content is designed so that players can actually manage it without these aids. Nevertheless, it repeatedly happens that players use unauthorized programs to gain an advantage.
The group employed a zoom hack that improved visibility of the combat situation. They also used a hitbox pixel cheat, a cooldown tracker, and other unauthorized aids.
The strong reaction from the community has now also prompted the developers to take action. Naoki Yoshida himself reprimanded the use of these “aids”. He reminded the community that these programs violate the rules.

What did Yoshi-P say? In a lengthy post on the official FFIX website, Naoki Yoshida, who is known in the community by his nickname Yoshi-P, spoke about the controversy surrounding the ultimate raid “The Omega Protocol”.
He confirmed the community’s suspicion that some raid groups were using forbidden mods during the ultimate raid. Square Enix, the studio behind FFXIV, would thoroughly investigate the incidents and follow up on relevant reports from the community. They are also using internal data, and some players have already admitted to violating the terms of service.
Yoshida cannot understand why players demand tougher content on one hand but then rely on forbidden programs to make the content easier on the other. By the way, this is not the first time that Yoshida has addressed this issue: FFXIV head is disappointed because the best players do not play by his rules
The illegal distribution of in-game cut scenes, which reveal details of the story, is also something the developers want to put a stop to. Yoshida mentions that there has likely been an internal leak. However, the investigations are still ongoing.
What penalties do players face? Yoshida makes it clear in his statement that the use of mods and third-party software is prohibited. In the event of a violation, account penalties are possible. These range from a temporary account suspension to a permanent account closure.
He further elaborates that the individual penalties will not be made public. It is not the company policy to make these decisions public. However, screenshots are circulating on Discord servers and community sites showing the extent of the penalties. One of the images features a conversation between a member of the raid group “Unnamed_” and a game master.
Although the player is not banned because he apparently did not use any of the tools himself, all titles and achievements are revoked. Additionally, the game master advises the player to delete the weapons he obtained from the raid “as soon as possible”.
