Affixes in World of Warcraft are making dungeons a worse place. At least that’s what Bellular says – and it resonates with the community.
In the endgame of World of Warcraft, there are a handful of activities that players can engage in. Those who enjoy dungeons dive into “Mythic+” and must master an instance on ever-increasing difficulty levels within a time limit. The higher the difficulty, the more negative effects, called “affixes”, are added.
However, they not only make everything harder but also cause massive frustration. At least that’s what YouTuber and analyst Bellular thinks, who breaks down the current situation around “Mythic+”.
The Problems with Affixes in Mythic+
Bellular points out right at the beginning that it’s not about removing the difficulty from “Mythic+”. But it can be achieved better than with an overloaded affix system. He states:
This is not a debate about making the game easier. Difficulty is not the problem. It’s why it’s difficult. And that is frustration. Most affixes are easily manageable on their own. Just move a bit. Just stop casting. Just click the explosive orb. The question we want to ask is: Does the fact that you have to do these things make the game better? It makes the game harder, sure, and that’s obviously the goal. But is it also more fun?

Afterward, Bellular names several reasons, summarized here:
The dungeon is hard enough by itself. When one dies or fails because of an affix, it feels artificial. It’s not the dungeon that caused the wipe, but the “bullshit” combination of affixes.
The entry barrier is huge. Mythic+ with changing affixes is “normal” for players who have been playing it for years. But weekly changing affixes without a way to learn it in a “safe” environment are massively discouraging. Every time someone fails, they might be the reason a group disbands, wasting a half hour of all other players’ time. Therefore, many are simply afraid to start with Mythic+ at all.
Affixes don’t always work and feel “cheap”. Affixes are simply placed across all content of the dungeons and are therefore of lower quality than other mechanics in the dungeon. This even leads to Blizzard having to manually disable certain affixes in specific situations. There are multiple instances where “Quaking” is disabled if another boss mechanic requires the group to stack.
Affixes are mostly related to specific roles. Many affixes affect some roles more than others. Quaking and Volcanic mainly disrupt spellcasters, while Storming and Bloodlust cause problems for melee players. This results in certain classes and specializations feeling significantly worse in some weeks and effectively providing less performance – not a good incentive to play M+ that week.
Seasonal affixes have always been better: Bellular rates the affixes with positive and negative effects much higher. These are mostly the seasonal affixes, which although bring additional difficulty, also always provide a reward. With “Thunderous”, for example, it’s the damage buff with the risk of stunning if not resolved in time. On its own, “Thunderous” feels good. A problem only arises when it overlaps with other affixes – like Quaking or Volcanic. Then frustration sets in.
More about World of Warcraft can be found here on MeinMMO:
Bellular also has some ideas, inspired by the community, which has been discussing the topic for months.
The most direct approach would be to make all affixes only positive. If played correctly, affixes should reward the character rather than create a punishment upon failure. Some ideas would be:
Explosive does nothing when the orb detonates. However, if you eliminate it, you receive a healing boost or mana back for the healer.
Bloodlust: Enemies leave a ring of blood. If players stand in the ring, they deal more damage. Alternatively, enemies take more damage if they are in such a ring.
Quaking: If you fail, nothing happens. However, if you don’t cast a spell at the moment of triggering, the next 3 spells become instant spells.
With such positive incentives, there would still be variety and additional tasks, but they would no longer be so frustrating. Moreover, the entry barrier is lower. Because if you don’t play with affixes, there is no immediate disadvantage – and if you play them correctly, you can get a bit more performance out of your character.
Instead of thinking: “Oh, how will the affixes annoy me this week?” you think: “Hmm, what are the cool optimizations I can make to be even better?” That would be fundamentally more exciting for players.
Cortyn says: Although I actually enjoy “Mythic+” as a whole, I can certainly understand Bellular’s problems – and those of the community. I have often had the impression that certain affix combinations are a more than clear hint with a fence post that I shouldn’t play a caster this week because Quaking or Volcanic in combination with Thunderous only means “Stay in motion all the time”. Therefore, I find the fundamental idea of assigning affixes mainly positive properties or “Kiss/Curse” variants quite good.
In general, I would find it good if the trash mobs of the respective instance and the bosses with their mechanics were back in focus in dungeons and not “the whole nonsense that affixes add”. It is clear that dungeons without negative affixes would be even harder. But that would just be an offset of the difficulty.

Wild Hearts receives a lot of criticism for the poor PC performance of the hunting game at release. A patch is supposed to bring improvement.
Why were players waiting for a patch? With Wild Hearts, Koei Tecmo/Omega Force released a new hunting game this month, where players fight against monsters called Kemono.
Wild Hearts – 7 important tips for your successful start
What did the patch do? On yesterday, February 21, 2023, Wild Hearts received a patch that was supposed to fix one of the performance issues, among other things. The patch notes on ea.com state: “A problem has been fixed where certain high-end CPUs were unintentionally limited. High-end PCs should now see some performance improvements.”
Additionally, a problem with the game’s sound has been fixed, which was also supposed to affect performance, so players should generally notice a performance boost after the patch. Previously, players used a trick that was supposed to improve the FPS of the hunting game by adjusting a sound setting.
A problem has been fixed where some sounds were not played or delayed, leading to audio stacking. This audio-stacking problem had also burdened the players’ CPUs. As a result of this fix, players should notice performance improvements in all areas. The workaround with 5.1/7.1 audio is no longer necessary on PC.
What do players say about the patch? The reactions to the patch on reddit are rather negative; we search in vain for positive reports. Some players even claim that the performance has gotten worse for them.
Norvax via reddit: “No difference in the FPS for me. […] Still between 40 and 70 [FPS] with drops below 30.”
SacredGray via reddit: “I play on PC – unfortunately, this patch has put my whole game into a slight state of slow motion. The technical performance is okay, the frame rate is good, but it feels like my character is running, jumping, and attacking at 75% speed.”
Kanadeai via reddit: “Made it worse for me and is now unplayable. […] Was fine before the fix, where I had stable 90 – 120 FPS. Now I’m barely at 45 FPS and the whole game is in slow motion.”
MeiShimada via reddit: “Is there anything new from the developers since the patch? It didn’t improve anything and broke a lot. For me, performance is a bit worse. The input delay is much higher.”
Besides performance, there are other reasons why Wild Hearts is struggling with issues at release, such as the high purchase price of 80 euros.
For many gamers, this is a message that is symptomatic of why they reject mobile games. The company “Rovio Entertainment” has released a mobile game without microtransactions: Rovio Classics: Angry Bird costs only one Euro. The re-release of the hit from 2009 is extremely successful on Google Play – but it is now being taken off the market because it “has implications for the broader portfolio.”
What kind of game is this?
Rovio is the Finnish development studio that created the game “Angry Birds” in 2009. In the game, the objective is to shoot birds with a slingshot at the hiding places of pigs. Each destroyed object awards points.
The game in question is called “Rovio Classics: AB”. It costs 0.99 € in the Google Play Store and is a remake of the original game, which comes entirely without microtransactions.
The game has 36,500 reviews on Google Play with 4.7 out of 5 stars. People say: It feels almost like before. The great thing is, for the price of 1 €, you get a lot out of it, plus no ads and no in-app purchases.
Rovio analyzes “Business Case”, says it will take the game off the market in 2 days
This is now the decision: Rovio announced on February 21 that it had reviewed the “Business Case” of the game and what impact the game has on the broader “games portfolio”. Therefore, it has been decided to remove the game from the store on February 23.
The game will remain playable on devices where it was downloaded, but will be de-listed.
They understand that this decision upsets people and hope they will then play, for example, Angry Birds 2.

What do they mean by that? One of the developers says: “It negatively affects our other games.” This endangers the future of the company.
This is clearly meant:
Because this game is so popular, but comes without microtransactions, people play the “Classic” purchase game and not the games with microtransactions.
As a result, the company earns less money than if the game did not exist, and people would be forced to play one of the versions with in-game purchases.
What outrages the people so much? The topic is currently number one on the general games Reddit, which is unprecedented for a mobile game. Normally, hardcore PC gamers are at home on reddit/Games, for whom it is already a sacrilege when Bethesda turns the holy role-playing game Fallout into a survival MMO.
People say: “The far superior game is being removed from digital stores to favor shitty, microtransaction-infested versions” – games like Peggles or “Plants vs. Zombies” are cited as examples where this has also happened.
For outraged gamers, this example is emblematic of the mobile market, which they reject as “slot” infested:
The topic of artificial intelligence is currently more relevant than ever. While some are raving about the exciting possibilities, people in creative professions are worried about their jobs. Clarkesworld, an important magazine for many authors, is now taking consequences from a flood of story submissions that were created using AI.
Note: The cover image is a symbolic image.
What kind of magazine is this? Clarkesworld is a magazine for science fiction and fantasy short stories and novellas that has been published monthly since October 2006. Both the magazine itself and individual authors who have been published in it have been nominated for numerous awards.
The editor-in-chief, Neil Clarke, received the prestigious Hugo Award for Best Editor in 2022.
Hopeful authors can submit their works to Clarkesworld. The lucky ones whose stories are published receive a payout of about 11 cents per word, which is a pretty good rate in the field.
However, the magazine has now imposed a submission stop – the reason for this is submissions created using artificial intelligence.
If used correctly, artificial intelligence also offers numerous exciting possibilities. It could help us dive deeper into games than ever before.

The “Deep Dive” is supposed to immerse us into MMORPGs deeper than ever before – What is it actually?
Magazine reports increase in spam submissions
What submissions are we talking about? On February 15, Neil Clarke published a post about a disturbing trend he had noticed. The problem will not simply disappear, he wrote.
Clarke has observed an increase in spam submissions to Clarkesworld since the beginning of the pandemic. Until recently, these mainly involved plagiarisms where the name of an author was replaced with one’s own, and the text was ultimately altered using a program.
However, these cases have been relatively easy to recognize and occurred so infrequently that they were more of a minor annoyance, according to the editor.
Sometimes the number of plagiarisms increased for a month or two, but overall the growth was very slow, and the number of cases remained small. Anyone caught plagiarizing was banned from future submissions. Some even had the audacity to complain: ‘But I really need the money.’
What has changed? Towards the end of 2022, there was another surge in plagiarisms, shortly thereafter, public interest in AI-driven chatbots arose. This suddenly gave many people the opportunity to try their hand as supposed authors.
The situation quickly spiraled out of control: by February 15, he had banned more than twice as many submitters as in all of January. The rate of submissions leading to a ban at that time was already 38% for the current month.
In addition, Clarke shared graphics on Twitter that illustrate the drastic increase in dishonest submissions. The editor did not want to reveal how exactly he recognizes these submissions to avoid contributing to improving the programs. However, there are ‘obvious patterns’ (via neil-clarke.com).
Where does the sudden increase come from? As Clarke explained in a later post, the AI submissions do not come from people in the SFF community. Instead, they are driven by so-called financial gurus who promote AI texts as a way to earn money quickly and easily.
These people deserve the criticism directed at the developers of AI software, the editor-in-chief said (via Twitter).
No more ‘business as usual’
What is the current development? On February 20, the editorial team finally took consequences from the flood of spam. It was announced via Twitter that submissions are currently closed, and the reason is probably not hard to guess.
In a thread, Clarke elaborates on the problem: While they have some ideas to minimize the issue, there is currently no solution. Programs for detecting AI texts are too unreliable, and those for confirming identities are too expensive.
Clarkesworld does not want to go the route of a fee for submitting stories: that would sacrifice too many honest authors. They also do not want to limit themselves to authors who have already been published in the magazine, as this would constitute a ban for all new authors (via Twitter).
This aligns with the development that Clarke had already foreseen in his post from February 15. There, he had written that he feared the problem would lead to additional barriers for new and international authors.
However, it is clear that there can be no “business as usual” anymore, this is simply no longer sustainable.
Closure not forever
What happens next? On Twitter, some authors react dismayed to the news. Clarkesworld would respond to submissions the fastest and most efficiently, and is also the best-paying publication – the current situation is a crisis (via Twitter).
Also, aspiring authors who had hoped for a publication in the magazine are disappointed. However, Clarke assures that the magazine will not be discontinued; submitting stories will be enabled again. However, they do not want to commit to a specific date yet (via Twitter).
The situation surrounding Clarkesworld shows how sustainably artificial intelligence has already changed work in creative fields. Alongside texts, impressive images can also be created with the right tools:
The German streamer quiteLola is primarily known for her IRL content on Twitch. She is currently sharing her journey in Thailand with her viewers. However, a serious incident occurred: The streamer was sexually assaulted. But that’s not all, she is facing backlash on Twitter for her account of the incident.
Content Warning: This article deals with sexualized violence. These topics may trigger negative reactions in some people. If that is the case for you, please take care of yourselves while reading.
What did the streamer experience? In a stream that is no longer available, quiteLola visited a club on the Thai island of Koh Samui. There, a man approached her. The unknown man reportedly first tried to kiss the streamer without her consent, and when she resisted, he allegedly grabbed her butt and between her legs.
Individual recordings show how upset quiteLola is after the incident. When she tells her viewers what happened immediately after, she is angry and on the verge of tears.
Further recordings, which apparently were made shortly after the assault, show men shouting inappropriate comments at the streamer. Among other things, there is talk of “doing it in public.” QuiteLola then breaks down in tears and says she just wants to go home.
The next day, the streamer calmly summarized the events of the previous day. We have embedded the clip for you here:

What were the reactions like? The streamer received a lot of support from her own viewers. They were upset about the behavior of the other club-goers and gave her tips for places to go for help.
But on Twitter, a completely different side was shown: On February 20, a video of quiteLola’s original emotional account was shared there. The post claims that the streamer turned on her stream quickly after the assault to garner sympathy.
The tweet has already received a million views, and the attached video was viewed by about a quarter of that (as of 22.02.2023, 11:30). Numerous Twitter users criticize the poster for the misleading portrayal, as the stream was already running when the assault occurred.
However, beneath the tweet, there are also shocking and often disgusting comments: The streamer is insulted, being called annoying and a nuisance. Additionally, she is accused of only being interested in attention and money.
Some people write about how funny they find the situation. Some even discuss whether they would engage in sexual acts with the streamer.
No matter how you do it, it’s wrong
Why is this so problematic? The derogatory and sometimes dehumanizing reactions beneath the tweet highlight a problem that many victims of sexual violence face. This is also being discussed on Twitter.
Victims can never seem to do it “right” in the eyes of some people:
If they report their experiences later, they are often accused of being too late and should have said something right away. However, if someone, as in this case, reaches out to the public immediately after an assault, they are also not taken seriously – some people seem to believe that if something really happened, they would have better things to do.
The company behind Steam, Valve, operates one of the world’s most successful MOBAs, DOTA 2. On February 21, Valve announces: They have struck a blow against cheaters. With a trap, a “Honeypot,” they were able to clearly identify and ban fraudsters. More than 40,000 accounts have been affected.
What kind of cheat was it?
Valve doesn’t say exactly, they speak of players cheating in DOTA using third-party software (via dota2.com).
The program read internal data from the client that is not visible to players.
Through the cheat, cheaters had an unfair advantage. Fans speculate on reddit about what kind of cheat it was – a type of “map hack” or whether players were able to read data about opponents, learn their favorite champs, something like that it probably was.

Valve introduces a section in DOTA 2 that only cheaters can see
This is what Valve has done: Valve says they analyzed the exact cheat method and then inserted a honeypot in a patch:
A data area in the game client that is never accessed during normal gameplay, but which this exploit would access.
All accounts today that were banned have accessed this secret area of the client and fell into our trap. Therefore, we consider their ban appropriate.
According to Valve, over 40,000 accounts have been permanently banned.
Valve emphasizes: DOTA is most fun when it is fair and a victory is achieved through skill and perseverance. They will continue to identify and eliminate exploits – cheaters will be banned. This also applies to professional players, who will be excluded from all competitions at Valve.
What is the fans’ reaction? It is overwhelmingly positive:
One says he has a “justice boner”.
Others say they are looking forward to the first ones who complain that they have been banned, to laugh at them mockingly.
Especially which professional player got caught, is awaited with excitement.
Especially the trick of setting a trap for cheaters is appreciated by DOTA players. Every MOBA player enjoys a good trap and the subsequent gank from the bushes.
DOTA 2 is firmly rooted in the DNA of Steam and Valve:
At the same time, Weber also sets clear boundaries regarding her online presence: Children can participate in her custom matches on weekends, where parents or grandparents often watch, and they can follow her on Fortnite. However, she does not follow anyone back, and her lobby remains closed to her own students.
What does Lori Weber plan for the future? In five years, the teacher can retire. Then she has a plan: Streaming Fortnite as a full-time job.
Until then, however, she wants to continue to create a safe place for children through her streams, where hate has no place and continue to use the game to teach students good behavior and fair play.

Lori Weber is a teacher – but in her spare time, she is also a Twitch streamer “Slytrue48”. She streams the battle royale Fortnite and uses the game to teach children good behavior. At the same time, she also wants to create a positive place without hate.
Who is Lori Weber? Lori Weber is a full-time teacher. In addition, she is active as a Fortnite streamer under the name “Slytrue48”.
She regularly streams videos of the battle royale Fortnite on Twitch and has already gained 19,868 followers on the platform (as of February 22, 2023). Additionally, she uploads clips to TikTok and runs a YouTube channel.
In an interview with PCGames, the teacher explained the background of her streaming activity and talks about how Fortnite helps her interact with children.
Fortnite has helped some streamers like Ninja succeed on Twitch. Here you can see what he is doing today:
“Everything they talked about was Fortnite”
How did it all begin? “I started teaching fifth grade five years ago, and everything they talked about was Fortnite,” the teacher told PCGames.
“Fortnite was relatively new at that time. Since I had already played WoW and Assassin’s Creed, I thought I would give it a try and started watching Ninja. My son is the one who bought me my first gaming setup to play Fortnite. This way, I had something to talk about with my students.”
At first, the teacher needed some time to get used to the game. But then she continually developed the concept and began streaming on Twitch. Her students came as viewers, and Weber recognized Fortnite as a helpful tool for her work as a teacher.

How do the students react to it? Lori Weber continues to say that her students think her hobby is cool, and she is often asked whether she could do a Fortnite dance.
But not only her students celebrate Weber for her hobby. By now, she is known as the “Fortnite teacher” at her school, and the principal also seems to support her activities. She always tells new students that Lori Weber will be their teacher in advance about her hobby.
Weber sees a big advantage in that: It especially creates a certain connection with some boys that would not exist without the shared hobby.
How are the streams designed? Lori Weber tailored the streaming content to her fifth-grade class. However, she sometimes also caters to a younger audience. What is very important to her: positivity.
Thus, the teacher ensures that everyone is nice to each other while playing. Instead of insulting others, Weber praises good gameplay. Bullying and curse words have no place in her stream.
According to her own statements, the Fortnite teacher has already received a lot of feedback, with children telling her that they feel safe in her community. Additionally, Weber gives them the feeling that they could come to her if they experience bullying.

New World has finally revealed how it intends to proceed with the MMORPG in the long term. The focus is on updates that will be released every 3 months. They will include new storylines, as well as new features such as a dungeon. These updates will be combined with season passes. Additionally, a large expansion with mounts has been announced for Fall 2023.
What exactly does New World’s plan look like? New World will receive a major update every 3 months from now on. The first patch in this rhythm will be released on March 28 and will bring:
New story quests involving a group of mercenaries named “Silberkrähen”.
The new expedition Empyreum Forge for players at level 60.
The new mechanic “Equipment Set Storage”, which allows you to switch between equipment sets with just one click.
A new heart jewel ability. The “Firestorm” creates a tornado that damages multiple targets in its path.
Also included in the update is a season pass, which will be available in both a free and a paid version. This pass offers new skins and rewards and aims to encourage players to log in regularly.
Is that all the content coming? No, there will continue to be small patches and events between the major updates. During the first season pass, events like Rabbit Revenge and a Spriggan event will take place, where you need to defeat bosses in the open world. There will also be the new Spring Bloom event, where you must collect blossoms and fight new opponents. Balance updates are also planned regularly.
However, the major highlight will be the new expansion in Fall 2023. This will bring new story content, a new dungeon, a new weapon, a new equipment level, and mounts!
It is still unclear whether you will have to purchase the expansion separately or if it will be free.
Nevertheless, the content plan for 2023 sounds significantly better than in the previous year. The biggest problems have been resolved and now the focus is strongly on new story and new content. This should make New World especially interesting for veterans and frequent players this year.
Season Pass promises unique rewards and boosters, but no Pay2Win
How is the season pass structured exactly? The new pass comes with a total of 100 reward levels. You increase these levels by collecting season XP. You earn this for completing special tasks during a season, but also for faction missions, city quests, dungeons, and PvP.
Additionally, a so-called stamp card will be introduced. On this card, you will find various daily tasks that you can “stamp”. Each stamp gives season XP. However, you will earn more experience points if you achieve “BINGO” – that is, complete a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

5 Tips if you want to start with New World in 2023
You level both passes – free and premium – simultaneously, although you must have reached level 25 for the premium pass. However, if you purchase the premium pass afterward, you will retroactively receive all rewards.
The season pass is intended to keep players engaged for a while, but the average player should not need 3 months to receive all rewards. It also applies region-wide. You can progress the pass with multiple characters together in Europe. However, if you switch to American servers, you will have to start over with the pass.
How much does the premium pass cost? It costs 20,000 luck tokens – equivalent to 19.50 euros. The tokens are available for purchase in that exact number.
In the free pass, you will receive a variety of helpful rewards, including new skins, luck tokens, emotes, seasonal weapons and armor, shadow shards, gypsum orbs, and material supplies.
In the premium pass, there will also be shadow shards, gypsum orbs, and materials as well as additional, unique skins.
Especially interesting are the new boost tokens, which will be introduced in both passes, but also newly in the shop.
These are temporary buffs that are supposed to allow players to catch up faster. For instance, there will be increased area experience or more experience points when leveling a weapon for 90 minutes. However, there will be no advantage in combat.
What do you think about New World’s plans for this year? What are your general thoughts on season passes and the updates every 3 months? And what do you think about the new expansion? Feel free to write it in the comments.
You do not have to wait until the end of March for new content in New World. Just on Tuesday, a new event boss named Crassus was released, who will remain in the game for two weeks:
In 2023, Destiny 2 attracts many new players with the Lightfall DLC featuring the modern city of Neomuna. However, many are intimidated by the vast amount of content available. If you’re feeling the same, don’t be discouraged. Here comes the MeinMMO guide for a smooth entry into the Destiny universe.
This is the problem newcomers face in Destiny 2: Destiny 2 has been on the market for 5 years and has since delivered a continuous stream of new content, stories, and an evolving meta. However, it is primarily the live service aspect of Destiny 2 that has allowed the creation of an incredibly rich and immersive world that continuously improves and changes.
For new players, this can often be pure horror. They quickly lose track and often feel overwhelmed by the multitude of quests, materials, and the freedom to choose where to start.
But don’t worry if you feel the same in the Destiny multiplayer FPS, with its seemingly endless loot.
With the Lightfall expansion, which releases on February 28, Bungie has made further steps to address this problem. Primarily, they want to help new players feel more secure and better manage their progress in the game.

Everything you need to know about Destiny 2 – in 2 minutes
Beginners should start with New Light
New Guardians enter the Tower every day in Destiny 2 to protect the Traveler and the Light. However, your journey as a Guardian should definitely begin with New Light.
New Light is free: The optimal starting point is still “New Light”. This is Bungie’s term for the free base game of Destiny 2. While you won’t experience some of the biggest moments, it gives you a good impression of what Destiny is and what the loot shooter is about.
You can choose your first class: Hunter, Titan, or Warlock.
Titans are disciplined with aggressive attacks and an unwavering defense.
Hunters are incredibly quick on their feet and even faster on the trigger.
Warlocks turn the mysteries of the universe into weapons to empower themselves and destroy their enemies, but they also have the highest (and hardest to learn) jump.
You can play an introductory mission with your new character that explains functions and quest processes and familiarizes you with the controls.
Three freely exchangeable subclasses, Solar, Void, and Arc, are immediately available to you with New Light.
Afterward, you’ll receive a small bundle of quests that you can freely explore.
Additional subclasses like Stasis or Strand can be unlocked by playing the campaigns of specific expansions.
When you reach the point where you want to experience all the abilities and stories of Destiny, it’s time to engage with the lore and editions of the game. Especially since Destiny 2 has several DLCs that give you access to different content.
First, recap the story: Every Guardian should fundamentally know what it’s about. This is important so that you understand everything Destiny 2 has to offer in its expansions.
The following introductory cinematic provides you with a brief overview of the world of Destiny and is perfectly suited for that.

The Guardian Rank System is your next guideline. Follow this, and Destiny 2 will show you everything you need to know and be familiar with. Especially when you’re unsure what to do next. Additionally, you can progress from simple tasks to the endgame at your own pace.
You can find the Guardian Rank System in the game via the Navigator.
In what order should DLCs be played? After exploring a bit, you can consider which Destiny expansions you want to play. You can play basically any DLC, but the order in which they come is significant.
For this, there is a practical overview in the game in the form of a timeline.
Here, new players can see the order in which the expansions were released and thus also in which order they should be played. Through the timeline, you can also revisit old story missions and better understand what happened.
The timeline provides an overview of the story and which DLCs you own.
Do I have to repurchase all DLCs? Not necessarily in terms of the story. Destiny 2 now offers an interactive video after each expansion. Important details are summarized again. However, it’s still better to experience everything in the game itself.
Even if you want all weapons and abilities, you should purchase the appropriate DLCs.
Stasis, for example, is only unlockable if you own the “Beyond Light” DLC.
Strand is only unlockable if you own the Lightfall DLC.
Exotic weapons from missions are also only available if you own the DLCs.
It’s important to know that Destiny 2 is not the kind of game where the age of the content automatically determines its value. Newer expansions are not inherently better than older ones.
This saves real money in Destiny 2: Particularly convenient for new players is the so-called Legacy Edition of Destiny 2. This three-part package contains three DLCs at a low price. With it, you can secure 3 of the currently 5 available expansions cheaply.
The Legacy Edition includes all related weapons and access to additional activities such as raids, exotic missions, as well as previous gear. And through “Beyond Light,” you also gain access to Stasis, the ice ability in Destiny 2. It’s basically a all-in-one package.
What happened to the Forsaken DLC and its campaign? The Forsaken DLC has turned into a ‘Forsaken Pack’ and now only grants access to a large number of Exotics. However, since 2023, you can replay the last mission from Forsaken in the game to know what it’s about. Additionally, players can play in the Dreaming City and the raid “Last Wish” as well as the dungeon “The Shattered Throne.”
Here is the current order of the DLCs:
Destiny 2: Legacy Collection (2023): This edition includes The Witch Queen, Beyond Light, and Shadowkeep. Play through three epic campaigns, unlock 37 exotic weapons, 15 exotic armor pieces, and the power of Stasis that allows you to freeze and control the battlefield.
“Forsaken” grants access to the raid “Last Wish” and the dungeon “The Shattered Throne.”
“Shadowkeep” grants access to the “Garden of Salvation” raid and the dungeon “Pit of Heresy.”
The “Witch Queen” expansion of Destiny 2 leads you into the location “Savathun’s Throne World” and grants access to a tailored campaign, a raid, exclusive activities, and loads of powerful gear, such as the exotic submachine gun “Osteo Striga” or the heavy grenade launcher “Parasite.”
Currently, these two DLCs are not available in a pack. However, Bungie updates its packs after every new expansion, so Lightfall will surely find its way into the Legacy Collection soon.
With the “Lightfall” expansion, you get a new campaign, the brand new Strand ability, and a new location in the form of Neptune’s untouched high-tech capital “Neomuna.” Additionally, a tailored story, a raid, exclusive activities, and plenty of exotics, such as the auto rifle “Tempest” along with powerful gear.
“The Final Shape” is the last DLC of the Light and Darkness saga and will be released in June 2024.
You can find all editions for the latest DLC in our HUB:
To avoid losing track, the aforementioned timeline in the game also shows you what you have already purchased. You are therefore not forced to buy everything at once.
We also recommend purchasing the deluxe editions directly. This involves the least effort since it includes everything important, including the dungeons. Buying all of this separately is significantly more expensive. Moreover, it’s always worth comparing prices with the offers from your respective platform provider.
The Final Shape is currently available for pre-order – Official launch is then in June 2024.
Brief explanation of the Destiny 2 season pass: There is also the season pass in Destiny 2 associated with the DLCs. They typically last 3 months and bring additional content and gear for hunting. However, season passes are a good choice only for those who really plan to play a lot of Destiny 2. Starting in 2024, Destiny 2 will switch to an episodic system and thus say goodbye to seasons.
The deluxe edition of a DLC already includes all 4 season passes along with the 2 paid dungeons.
At the end of each season, accrued reputation ranks, such as Glory and Infamy, will reset to 0.
When the next DLC is released, the deluxe edition of the previous expansion ceases to exist.
Here you will find an overview of all dungeons from Destiny 2 and you can also see which DLC you need to play them.
How understandable is the rest of the Destiny universe in 2023? Since Witch Queen, Destiny 2 has made significant progress in making it easier for new players.
Old DLCs are no longer being removed, so all can be played. This change starts with the DLC “Shadowkeep.”
In 2022, the many different target materials were discontinued. There are now only three materials and a few very special items: Glimmer, Legendary Shards, and Enhancement Prisms, as well as exclusive currencies such as Ascendant Shards. In 2024, the Legendary Shards will also disappear from the currencies.
FOMO (“Fear of missing out”) has been significantly reduced, so you don’t feel as frustrated if you miss certain loot, exotics, or opportunities. You can focus on old armors and weapons with vendors to get them later.
Many weapons are now craftable. You collect blueprints for this purpose and can then create a weapon that has recently become meta with the desired perks at any time. This saves space in your vault and makes you flexible.
If you’re wondering now: “And what do I do besides the campaign that guides me through the game in Destiny 2?” Then you can certainly use these short tips from the Destiny editorial team at MeinMMO. They help you discover everything else.
Complete all seasonal introductory quests.
These need to be played through for each character and can contain a surprising amount of stories. They will be displayed on your map in the top left as a small icon.
Find and complete every Lost Sector at least once and also talk to every NPC in the game that you can discover.
If you do not own the current season pass, still try to reach at least rank 35 to secure the exotic weapon. If you don’t earn it within the season, it will be behind a paywall.
Learn which material drops from activities and objectives. This helps you know where to get something specific and where not.
Always complete the quest bounties you receive from Ada-1 in the Tower. This will allow you to create armor ornaments via transmog later.
Find at least one weapon of each type and element and try to finish as many blueprint weapons as possible to unlock them in your collection. (Triumphs > Blueprints & Catalysts)
What advice would you give to new players? Feel free to leave your tips in the comments. And what do the Destiny veterans say? Do you think Bungie has made the re-entry easier than before? And if you as a newcomer have questions, you can of course also use our comment function.
Speaking of veterans, they currently still have other problems in Destiny 2 because cheaters are making their lives difficult in PvP. But there is hope:
During the Corona pandemic, Pokémon GO introduced various bonuses to make playing easier. However, the remote raids may soon face challenges according to a new finding. We at MeinMMO show you what it’s all about and what restrictions you can expect.
What bonuses are involved? Due to the Corona pandemic, many trainers were unable to go outside and play the game in its original form. Therefore, Niantic introduced various bonuses to facilitate this. One of them was remote raids.
With the help of special remote raid passes, trainers have been able to participate in unlimited raids in other regions in recent years. They no longer had to leave their homes, unlike normal raids, and could play comfortably from home.
However, this may change soon. After a first finding regarding restrictions on raids shocked trainers, there are now further indications of drastic changes from Niantic. We have summarized for you what these changes are and when they might take effect.
Higher prices and restrictions on remote raids soon
What was found? As discovered by the PokeMiners, a group of data miners, several days ago in the source code of Pokémon GO, the developers are planning adjustments regarding remote raids. There will be a limitation on the possible daily remote raids.
Now the PokeMiners have found further clues that clarify this further. The reddit user drakepig shares the following tweet from the data miners in his post on reddit:
They write (via reddit.com): “Last week it was said that with the start of the new season, this nerf would be introduced, along with a price increase for remote raid passes. Based on further findings today, the number of remote raids is 6 per day, at 150 coins each. We will have to wait and see if this becomes true.”
What does the finding mean? It indicates that Niantic may make remote raids more difficult in the coming weeks. Remote raids would then only be possible in limited quantities, and the purchase of new passes would cost 50 coins more than before. As a result, the premium battle passes, which allow you to play on-site, would be cheaper for the first time since the introduction of remote raid passes.
Trainers who find this daily amount insufficient or who simply find the passes too expensive would be forced to complete raids on-site again. It is useful if you have networked with other players locally. How this is possible via Campfire is shown in the following article:
When might the change happen? A change of this kind would be conceivable for the start of the new season. This begins on March 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM local time.
Whether and when the changes will actually be implemented is currently unknown. As the PokeMiners themselves say, there is still hope that Niantic will reconsider and not implement the changes.
However, such a change would not be the first of its kind. Niantic has gradually removed the home bonuses from the Corona period over the past two years. In particular, the controversial PokéStop change caused a lot of backlash from the community in 2021 and was ultimately reversed by the developers.
What is your opinion on the planned changes? Are you currently spending coins on remote raid passes? And is a limitation to 6 remote raids per day sufficient for you? Let us know in the comments here on MeinMMO and discuss with other trainers.
A new runeword is causing bad vibes in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Blizzard made a small error in the latest patch notes, but it has far-reaching consequences – many players have wasted their valuable runes.
What are runewords?Runewords are among the most powerful items in Diablo 2. To create a runeword, players must insert runes into an item in the correct order. Only the right combination results in a runeword. If you make a mistake, you only receive the bonuses of the individual runes. Strong additional effects are lost.
This is particularly annoying because strong runes are very rare. In general, the more powerful the individual rune, the rarer it is found in the game world. If you make a mistake in creating a runeword, you miss out on powerful bonuses and may need to grind for a long time before you find the corresponding runes again.

New runeword incorrectly stated in the patch notes – this causes trouble in the game
Which runeword is it about? With Season 3, a new runeword for assassins was supposed to be added to Diablo 2. As usual, the new item was added to the PTR. Players were to thoroughly test the new item on the test server. The item was well received, but players criticized a specific damage component that comes from a rune.
To create the “Mosaic runeword” on the PTR, the runes needed to be combined as Mal+Gul+Thul. The Thul rune adds an effect to items that causes frost damage.
However, the testers were not satisfied with this and demanded a change. The developers acknowledged this and changed the combination. The runeword now consists of the combination Mal+Gul+Amn. Instead of frost damage, there is now life steal, just as the testers wanted.
How did the error occur? The changes to the “Mosaic runeword” were initially correctly reflected in the patch notes. Apparently, the text of the patch notes was later revised, and the composition of the new runeword was incorrectly presented.
Instead of the correct rune combination Mal+Gul+Amn, the old combination of Mal+Gul+Thul was stated in the patch notes. Players who attempted to create the “Mosaic runeword” according to the incorrect patch notes have unfortunately wasted their rare runes. Because once runes are socketed, there is no way to get them back.
Although this case is a mistake by Blizzard, it is unclear whether players will receive their incorrectly socketed runes back. Although the error has been fixed, many players may still feel deceived.

Some mistakes are forgiven, others are not. Especially in World of Warcraft, there are a few mechanics that always cause stress.
Even in the realm of PvE boss fights, World of Warcraft still ranks among the best the genre has to offer, even after years. There are varied fights, interesting mechanics, and one or two abilities that you need to internalize and remember their effects very well. Because often, a mistake can not only mean your own digital death but can drag the entire (raid) group down with it.
We will show you some of the most well-known mechanics, where failing often leads to chaos in the voice chat.
1. Baron Geddon – Living Bomb
Raid: The Molten Core (Vanilla)
The remnants of Ner’zhul have take down many, many raids.
Shadowlands is still fresh in the bones of many World of Warcraft players – for several reasons. Although the expansion received a lot of criticism, the boss fights were interesting and often deadly.
One of these fights is the battle against the “Remnant of Ner’zhul”. The former orc lich king has a mechanic for which he is infamous, called “Malice”. Depending on the difficulty level, several players are afflicted with a negative effect that ticks down slowly. Once the effect expires or the character dies, a strong “knockback” effect triggers. The affected character is thrown backward, and all other players are also pushed away from the affected character.
The catch is that the affected characters must position themselves at the edge of the boss platform, looking toward the abyss. Only then is the raid and the affected player pushed back onto the platform.
However, it happened far too often that players with malice “messed it up”. Either they did not move out of ignorance or did not fully run to the edge of the platform or looked at the boss instead of the abyss. Depending on the nature of the mistake, only the affected individual, a few, or the entire raid would end up in the abyss.
4. Lady Vashj – Soiled Core
Raid: The Snake Shrine (The Burning Crusade)
Lady Vashj needed inventory management. Otherwise, she simply won.
In the fight against Lady Vashj, Blizzard tried something completely new. Instead of just killing enemies, one had to loot an item during the fight and throw it at the boss to break a shield.
The catch was that players with the soiled core could no longer move. The only action left was to throw the core to another player within reach. Like a hot potato, the core had to be passed on so that eventually someone could throw it at the shield from within reach of the boss.
Theoretically a simple task, it failed due to a rather unusual problem: the players’ inventory management. Because anyone who has an inventory of about 100 slots and does not keep it orderly panics at the bag slots and desperately searches for the soiled core. It certainly doesn’t help that with each passing second, the rest of the raid group becomes more restless, and the shouts in voice chat become louder.
“I don’t have it in my inventory!” was claimed panic-stricken on numerous occasions.
The benefit: After the fight, everyone surely had a tidy inventory to avoid this embarrassment in the future.

Nielas Aran and his son use the “Flame Wreath” – to the delight of all WoW fans.
For years, the heroes of Azeroth have been drilled to move quickly out of threatening areas. Whether “Voidzones” or deadly flames – one should hastily disappear from everything.
At least most of the time.
In the fight against Aran’s Shade in the original Karazhan, this thought was suddenly discarded. Because Aran cast a “Flame Wreath”. This was a ring of fire that formed around a player and burned threateningly.
The trained reaction here is: Get out fast!
But that is exactly what one must not do with this particular ability. Because when a player leaves their Flame Wreath or another player steps into the Flame Wreath, it explodes and most likely kills the entire group.
And hand on heart: The first time we all messed that up.
Due to its popularity, the spell was also reused in Legion. Medivh’s Shade in the remastered Karazhan uses this ability as well and has probably wiped out several tens of thousands of dungeon groups.
Because the dungeon occasionally remains relevant, this video has also gained relevance again. A choral that was shared among raid groups many, many years ago and still resonates in many ears when the boss uses “Flame Wreath” again:

“Dance to the left!” – The Council confused many players – and killed them multiple times.
Strictly speaking, this mechanic does not fall into the category, but it is a reason that probably tested many (WoW) friendships. We are talking about the dance sequence in the fight against the Council of Blood.
This “Death Dance” is essentially a fairly simple mechanic. Each player is assigned a position on the dance floor that they must take. Then the boss loudly announces in which direction to “dance”. He might shout, “Dance to the left”, prompting each character to move one square to the left on the tiled floor. To illustrate this further, there are a number of NPCs that perform this step simultaneously.
Nevertheless, every raid group had that one character who was hopelessly overwhelmed by the mechanic. While all players moved in harmony, building a helpful speed buff, there was always a dancerly unfit character who simply ran around randomly and did not understand at all what the boss or the fight was asking of them. Even after several detailed explanations, you could still see this person stacking the negative debuff and ultimately dying from the damage.
At least this mechanic only kills the individual player. Therefore, as a raid group, they usually had a good laugh.
Do you know any other boss mechanics that have led to disputes and problems or that made you laugh particularly hard? Let us know in the comments!

CSGOEXO.COM is a trading website where players can sell their items from the shooter Counter-Strike: Global OffensiveHowever, there was a theft in which skins worth around €659,000 were stolen.
What is CSGOEXO.COM? It is a large trading website where you can exchange your items from CS:GO such as keys or knives for other items. The website uses automated bots for this.
However, the trading website is currently offline. The reason for this is a hacker attack in which skins worth $700,000, equivalent to €658,553, were stolen.
Here you can see a trailer for the shooter CSGO:

Counter Strike: Global Offensive Trailer
This is how the website reacts to the theft
The website CSGOEXO.COM was temporarily taken offline. With the explanation that on the morning of February 15, 2023 skins worth $700,000 were stolen from the website.
However, according to the website, they have already been able to identify the perpetrators and three Steam profiles were linked. They are now working to restore the website to full functionality.
They have already contacted Steam about this. For questions or assistance, you can contact support via email or through the website (as of February 22, 2023, via csgoexo.com)
So far, there have been no further details on which skins are affected, how they will proceed in the future, or when the website will be back online.
That such high sums can be lost with the theft of skins is not surprising. If you are lucky, special items from CS:GO can be sold online for real fortunes.
The Polish streamer Sidneuke gained tragic fame with a clip on Twitter on February 17. During an IRL stream on Twitch, she looked at her smartphone and ended up running over a dog. As she continued driving, she complained about the free-running dogs and their owners. Millions of viewers are appalled.
Warning: The clip is uncomfortable not only for animal lovers and can trigger a queasy feeling. Therefore, we do not embed it directly, but only link to it. Nevertheless, this is a distressing topic.
Here is the clip:
The Polish streamer Sidneuke is sitting in her car, filming herself and looking at a phone in her hand (via twitter). She says: ‘Jesus, how many dogs are out here? Some of them must be in heat.’
Then the streamer looks at her phone when she suddenly gets startled as the car jolts. She exclaims: ‘I ran over a dog! Shit, I ran over a dog. That’s a dog.’
One can see her getting out of the car and looking around.
Just before the accident, the streamer only had eyes for her phone, not for the road.
Streamer blames dog owners
What did she do after the accident? According to reports, she continued driving after running over the dog. There is no clip of that. The Twitch stream is no longer accessible.
However, there is another clip that shows her during the drive after the accident (via twitter). There, she speaks into the camera and blames the dog owners for the accident: The dogs should never be allowed to run free, but they are constantly on the street. Dogs should not be free, that is wrong and against the law. You cannot leave dogs unattended.
Twitch bans streamer – authorities investigate
What consequences does the clip have?
Twitch has banned the streamer Sidneuke. The duration of the ban is unknown; some outraged viewers hope ‘forever’.
There is worldwide reporting about the incident – British, Polish, French, and American sites are reporting on the incident.
Clips of the incident on Twitter have already reached millions of views; many users are extremely upset about the woman’s behavior. One user asks: ‘Did she even bother to look for the dog?’
As the site Unilad reports, a Polish animal protection agency has also begun an investigation and intends to hand the case over to the public prosecutor’s office to file charges.
It is stated: Although it is unequivocally correct that dogs should not run freely. But if you notice that, you must stop the car and react. That is a social duty.
In IRL streams, a streamer films themselves in the real world, which leads to numerous problems:
What is behind this: The outrageous thing is that the young woman stares at her phone just before the accident and is already live streaming the drive, with no apparent misconduct.
This inattentiveness while driving is extremely dangerous, as can be seen.
While the game ‘Pokémon GO’ caused so much hype in 2016, many people complained about the ‘mobile phone zombies’ who, while hunting for virtual pixel monsters, stared transfixed at their smartphones and no longer noticed their surroundings.
Sons of the Forest is about to be released on Steam, and MeinMMO editor Maik Schneider has particularly focused on the base building. He explains what makes it so special and why beginners may not necessarily benefit from it here.
Finally, another new survival title with great potential. My first focus always goes to the building system with such announcements. Unfortunately, in the last new survival hit, V Rising, base building was rather simplistic – that was due to the iso perspective.
However, Sons of the Forest draws from a wealth of resources, attempts an innovative system, and could consequently have a significant influence on how such games approach base building in the future.
Because I don’t just pull 2 tons of wood out of my small belly bag and throw them onto a blueprint. I have to craft and set up every wall, every floor, every barricade myself.
A dream for dedicated base builders like me – but perhaps also a nightmare for newcomers to the genre, who can only manage to create a square enclosure.
What is so great about the building system? I haven’t had a chance to get hands-on yet, but I already know the foundation from The Forest 1. Back then, there were blueprints, but you already had to carry the logs individually to the storage.
It was already a solid system, especially because the logs didn’t just disappear upon a breach. Building parts or smaller elements like log storage spots flew around chaotically when a motivated mutant destroyed a wall.
When a base gives way, it’s always a spectacle in The Forest – Source: YouTube
Sons of the Forest takes it a step further. Blueprints seem to almost completely belong to the past. If I want to build a floor, I chop down trees, cut them vertically, and place them next to each other. They connect “magnetically,” as you know from other building systems.
This allows for an unprecedented freedom in base building because I can size the logs as I need them. In my mind, an impressive log cabin with a conservatory and water access is already taking shape.
It’s likely that the system won’t be quite as “open”. Logs cannot be chopped into any size.
However, once it comes to the next material – stones – it could get really exciting. If I can place each individual brick as I want, the others can happily take on the cave tours.
I will then be busy creating a medieval village complete with a castle and a bustling marketplace.
You can find a brief overview of the game in our video on Sons of the Forest:
Start video
Sons of the Forest is the most awaited survival game on Steam – All information in 2 minutes
What are the disadvantages? I have been playing survival games for over 10 years and have built unnecessarily large bases in various games – ARK, Conan, Rust, Grounded, Raft, 7 Days to Die. The list is quite long by now.
However, Minecraft has already shown me before that it takes a certain degree of experience not to just hammer cubic shapes into the landscape.
Google and a touch of creativity certainly help as well. But what’s more rewarding than taking a proud look at your own creation after hours of work?
Even though the building system makes a really good impression, it could present a certain hurdle for newcomers to the genre.
My recommendation: If you play cooperatively, designate a builder, support him with resources, and let him hammer away for a few hours. Whether it worked out will be shown by the first serious mutant attack.
Otherwise, just start a new base and benefit from the experiences gathered. As soon as the game is released, we also plan to create smaller guides on the topic of “building”.
I’m also interested in your first impression of the building system. What would your dream system look like if you could design something like that? Is there perhaps already a game that fulfills all your building wishes? Leave a comment on the topic.

Nvidia and Microsoft have announced a new partnership: Soon you will be able to stream all Microsoft games via GeForce Now. This will also include upcoming games like Starfield.
Microsoft wants to buy Activision: Blizzard and is facing a lot of resistance. For this reason, the company from Redmond is currently doing everything to appease the critics:
Now Microsoft has additionally formed a partnership with Nvidia (via nvidia.com).
And the new contract between Nvidia and Microsoft could be very interesting for many games. Because Microsoft now wants to bring all its own games to GeForce Now as well.
This partnership is of course not formed without ulterior motives. In the background, the acquisition of Activision: Blizzard by Microsoft still looms. They state: “NVIDIA therefore offers its full support for the regulatory approval of the acquisition.”
Call of Duty, Halo, and others are to come to GeForce Now
Which games are to come to GeForce Now? In the future, you will be able to play all games from publisher Microsoft in the cloud. According to Microsoft, this includes already released first-party games for Xbox, as well as new games, such as the highly anticipated sci-fi epic Starfield, which will not be released for PS5.
It should not matter whether you bought the game in the “Microsoft Store”, on Steam, or at Epic. In the future, Activision: Blizzard games should also be playable via GeForce Now (via nvidia.com):
The combination of the incredibly rich catalog of Xbox first-party games with the powerful streaming capabilities of GeForce NOW will make cloud gaming a mainstream offering that appeals to gamers of all interest and experience levels. Through this partnership, more of the world’s most popular titles will be available in the cloud with just one click and can be played by millions of players.
Jeff Fisher, Senior Vice President for GeForce at NVIDIA
What does this mean for gamers? GeForce Now is a cloud gaming service that you can now use on almost any device. This way, you can stream your PC games, for example from Steam, to your mobile phone or tablet. The calculations are done in the Nvidia cloud, you no longer need fast hardware for the games.
This will be particularly exciting for games like Starfield. Many suspect that the hardware requirements can be quite high. There are currently no official system requirements, but a release for the old Xbox One has been ruled out.
What disadvantage does this whole thing have? It should be clear to you that for streaming services like GeForce Now, you need a fast internet connection. Without a fast connection, streaming is absolutely no fun in 2023:
Nvidia recommends a bandwidth of at least 15 Mbit/s if you want to stream.
For Full HD at 60 FPS, Nvidia recommends at least 25 Mbit/s.
More games: Thanks to GeForce Now, you can now play one of the most interesting co-op games without a fast gaming PC. Why so many are looking forward to this, you can find out in the following article here on MeinMMO:
Blizzard has a new statue on offer in its shop, which players can acquire for a small fortune. It is based on Diablo 4 and as expensive as a decent gaming PC.
What kind of statue is this? This is a huge statue of Inarius, the co-founder of Sanctuary. This angel played an important role in the world of Diablo despite his sparse appearance.
In Diablo 4, however, everything revolves around Lilith, Inarius, and the resulting Nephalem. So if you’ve always wanted to own a huge statue of an important Diablo character, you now have the chance.

Inarius, the Father of Sanctuary, comes into your living room
How much does the statue cost? The statue of Inarius can be pre-ordered from Blizzard’s online shop for €1,100.00. Basically, that’s as much as a decent gaming PC that you could spend your time with. Here is the shop.
What does the statue offer? The figure is a total of 66 cm tall, weighs 8.62 kg, and comes with some small parts that you need to assemble so that the good Inarius can stand bound. Additionally, the sculpture has been hand-painted.

Is the statue limited? We cannot foresee that yet. Blizzard itself hasn’t mentioned anywhere that there is a limited number of Inarius. It is only stated that this is a “premium statue”.
If you want the figure, we recommend not to wait. After it sells out, you will only find it hard from third parties and often only at exorbitant prices.
Why is Inarius bound? The co-founder of Sanctuary was on a mission to proclaim the end of the Sin War when the blood-soaked curtain fell. However, Mephisto made a pact and banished this angel to the depths of hell for all eternity. Miraculously, Inarius escaped hell and found his way back to Sanctuary.
In Diablo 4, he now tries to protect his creation and all that he had built, and thus a confrontation with Lilith is unavoidable. It will show how the story evolves in Blizzard’s new hack & slash adventure.
What do you think of the statue? Do you find it cool and would you indulge in something like this? Feel free to let us know in the comments what you think!
