A 13-year-old girl in China has spent €60,000 on mobile games within four months. Her parents only became aware when a teacher called and pointed out that their daughter might be addicted to mobile games. She is constantly on her phone.
How could the girl spend so much money? As reported by a local Chinese television station, the girl had found her mother’s debit card and linked it to her smartphone.
She said she knew her mother’s password – the mother had told the teenager in case she needed money when her parents were not around.
How did this come out? A teacher from the school in Henan that the girl attends called the mother and told her she suspected that the 13-year-old might be addicted to mobile games, as she spends a lot of time on her phone at school.
The mother then checked her own account: There were only 0.5 Yuan left, about 6 Euro cents.

What did she spend so much money on? The father confronted the girl about the missing money. The girl admitted she had:
Spent $15,900 buying mobile games
Spent $27,500 on in-game purchases in mobile games
Additionally, she had given several thousand dollars to 10 classmates so they could buy games
When they asked me to pay for their games, I did, even though I hesitated at first. But if I hadn’t given them the money, then they would have annoyed me all day. I was afraid that if I told my teacher, she would tell my parents and they would be angry with me.
The girl says she doesn’t know much about money or where it comes from, but she apparently knew how to cover her tracks. She was able to delete the bills and other evidence of her purchases, thus keeping it a secret from her parents.
The story went viral on social media in China. The mother is distraught (via douyin.com)
What games did she play? In the video report about the case, father, mother, and child are interviewed. The bills are visible and briefly a game is also shown.
What happens next? As reported by South China Morning Post, the mother has since tried to reclaim the money from various payment companies, but it is said she has been unsuccessful in getting the money back in full.
According to South China Morning Post, many people on social media have little understanding of the girl. They point out that she must have known she was doing something wrong when she deleted the evidence of her actions. Others blame the parents.
In China, there are actually clear rules intended to prevent teenagers from spending so much time on mobile games:
Destiny 2 will bring more free endgame content in the form of a legacy raid in the upcoming Season 22. Five old raids are currently not in the game, and the Guardians have already made their clear favorites. However, a leak further narrows down the candidates.
Which legacy raid will it be? Destiny 2 is supplied with endgame content by Bungie every three months. However, this does not always mean new content.
For each DLC year, a new raid and two new paid dungeons enter the game.
But also a legacy raid returns from the content that Bungie has banished from Destiny 2 into the content vault or that even originates from Destiny 1.
The old content was no longer playable for a long time, and a legendary raid, in which we died countless times, is now just around the corner for its return in August 2023.
Excitement among the Guardians is therefore palpable. Moreover, it awakens in them memories of past epic battles and long gaming nights.
However, a leaker has now dampened this excitement by excluding two of the five raids. We will tell you which ones they are.
The current raid in Destiny 2 “Lightfall” is “Root of Nightmares”
5 Candidates and 2 Big Hopes
Which raids are in the running? As Bungie retrieves more content from the vault, the number of raids that are still in contention decreases. Currently, there are only five candidates that are possible for a return.
We will tell you which ones they are.
Wrath of the Machine
Start video
Destiny – Raid “Wrath of the Machine” – Trailer
Wrath of the Machine (engl. Wrath of the Machine) is an old raid from Destiny that made its debut with the expansion “The Rise of Iron” on September 23, 2016. At that time, the Guardians had a meager light level of 370 to enter the raid.
There were SIVA infections, and in the end stood “Aksis”, an Archon Primus as the raid boss. Many Guardians still have good memories of the hard mode and the mechanics of this raid.
Probability of Return: This raid is a top favorite for many players to make a comeback. It would expand the Cosmodrome and is also linked to the splicer technology of Mitrax. Bungie has also announced that they will develop a new exotic weapon for the legacy raids, which is already included in Destiny 2. This could be the pulse rifle “Perfected Outbreak”. Therefore, this raid is considered a favorite for a comeback in 2023.
Crota’s End
Start video
Destiny : “Crota’s End” – The raid from the expansion “Darkness Awaits”
Crota’s End (engl. Crota’s End) is a raid from Destiny that was introduced with the expansion “Darkness Rising” on December 9, 2014. As a team, you had to penetrate into the deepest pit of the Hellmouth and infiltrate Crota’s realm. Although he initially seemed invincible, Crota’s own power – the soul-draining strength of the Ascendant Swords – could be used against him in the end.
Some Guardians especially associate the then craftable exo-weapon “Necrochasm” with this raid. It was only obtainable with great effort at that time.
Probability of Return: The raid is quite small. It would have been more suited as a dungeon, but Bungie has already ruled that out. However, the chances are quite good that this raid will make a return. On the other hand, recently an old Hive raid returned to Destiny 2 with “King’s Fall”. However, we don’t see this option as too far off, because after all, Crota is Oryx’s son and thus very close to his aunts Xivu Arath and Savathun. Therefore, a return of this raid would be plausible for Bungie.
Leviathan
Calus did not hold back: The Leviathan raid was opulent and golden
The Leviathan raid was available in Destiny 2 and was released on September 13, 2017. The Guardians had to make their way through the then still intact, golden flagship of the banished Emperor Calus and navigate through his not-so-small engine room. Moreover, the mechanics were challenging, as Calus had the Guardians hopping like performers in a circus for his amusement and strolling in his garden with the court dogs.
Through the quest “Destroyer of Worlds”, players could also earn the exo-shotgun “Legend of Acrius”. It was polished up a bit by Bungie in Season 21.
Probability of Return: If this raid were to return, it would be a huge deal. Bungie has also already revised some sections of the Leviathan for the “Season of the Haunted”. The path to bringing back all content might be a bit shorter now. Furthermore, the Leviathan weapons and armor can now only be found among veterans in their collections. Therefore, the chances are quite good that Calus will become a raid legacy and that the Guardians will see the Leviathan again. The raid was also pleasantly long, with a grand setting, and thus not unpopular.
Crown of Sorrow
In the raid “Crown of Sorrow”, Guardians meet the bearer of sorrow
The second raid on the Leviathan was “Crown of Sorrow”. It was opened on June 4, 2019, and disappeared back into the content vault on November 10, 2020. Calus then called for the Guardians’ help, as his experiments with the crown and a lingering Hive invasion were a threat he could not handle on his own.
Thus, the Guardians discovered “Gahlran”, the bearer of sorrow. He was driven insane by the Crown of Sorrow and thus went out of control. This raid also features the exotic “Tarrabah”, which players can now purchase at the “Memorial of Lost Lights”.
Probability of Return: Quite decent. The content would connect to content familiar to new players and it wouldn’t be the very well-known Leviathan raid. Additionally, this raid was not in the game for long. Almost all of its weapons and armor – except for the exo-weapon – have been almost forgotten. Therefore plausible but not as close as other options.
Scourge of the Past
Start video
Destiny 2: Raid “Grief of the Past” trailer
Anyone who has ever wanted to flee on their Sparrow in front of a burning giant Servitor was right in this raid. “Scourge of the Past” was brought to the game with the “Season of the Forge” on December 7, 2018. In the raid, one discovered the lost vault from the Black Armory and had to face a gigantic fallen robot with matching mechanics at the end.
The exotic from the raid was the “Anarchy”, an exotic grenade launcher whose best days are now behind it.
Probability of Return: For many Guardians, this is, alongside the raid “Wrath of the Machine”, the most logical return for the legacy raid. The best and biggest pro-argument for this raid are, of course, the tanks! But beyond that, Bungie has held off on reintroducing weapons from the Black Armory for too long. This could indicate that they are perhaps planning for “The Final Shape”. After all, that would be very fitting. The only question is whether this will happen in the upcoming Season 22.
These are the top favorites of the Guardians: From these five candidates, two favorites have emerged among the Guardians. One is “Wrath of the Machine” and the raid “Scourge of the Past”.
When the “Season of Depth” was released, it also turned out that Bungie had made some updates for the raid “Scourge of the Past” in the API, among other things. This fueled speculation that the Black Armory might actually be next.
The raids have already been excluded by a leak
According to a now-known leak, however, two of the five raids have already been excluded from returning. However, we only embed the leak as a spoiler so that you can decide for yourself if you want to know which two raids they are. And take it, as always, with a grain of salt.
Click here to see which raids the leak has excluded
According to the reliable Destiny leaker “Liz”, neither the raid “Wrath of the Machine” from the first Destiny era nor the raid “Scourge of the Past” will return in Season 22.
The news hit parts of the community hard and slightly dampened the excitement. However, despite the disappointment, there is still hope for the Guardians. After all, the leak also suggests that it could thus be one of the other raids from the content vault.
When will the legacy raid come to the game? The returning raid will be free for all players and will come with Season 22. So in September 2023. Until then, the Guardians will have to be patient.
No matter which one it will be: Each of the five candidates awakens old memories in seasoned Guardians and will also provide new players with fresh experiences as well as more free endgame content.
We will keep you updated as soon as more information about the next legacy raid in Destiny 2 is made available.
Were you surprised by the exclusion of the two top favorites by the raid leak? And what do you think, which raid will return in the upcoming Season 22 of Destiny 2? Feel free to share your personal tip in the comments.
And of course, we are also interested in the opinion of Destiny players on Bungie’s new 3rd-person game:
Do you want to build a gaming PC under 1000 Euros? MeinMMO presents a gaming PC up to 1000 Euros and explains which components you should pay attention to when buying.
What kind of configuration? You want to get a new gaming system but want to stay under 1000 Euros for your gaming PC? MeinMMO presents an optimal configuration that allows you to achieve either triple-digit FPS values in Full HD or high double-digit FPS values in WQHD.
Depending on your choice of graphics card (AMD or Nvidia), you also have financial leeway for a few additional upgrades, which we will introduce at the end of the article.
How did we select? In our editorial team, we rely on years of experience in PC building and have selected the most sensible configuration for you.
However, please note that there are numerous manufacturers and variations for many products that we cannot consider. Whether you buy a graphics card from Sapphire or MSI: there are often differences in detail, such as a different cooling system or design. Performance is more or less identical.
Gaming PC up to 1000 Euros: CPU, Graphics Card, RAM, and more
Which CPU? For the processor, we have chosen the Ryzen 5 5600. This is currently the best mid-range CPU from AMD, which reaches the same values as the X version with overclocking. It is slightly cheaper than Intel’s i5-12400F, which offers about the same performance.
If you prefer to buy Intel, the i5-12400F is also a very good choice, but it will require a different mainboard. A recommended choice would be the MSI PRO B660M-P.
The Ryzen 7 5800 X3D would currently be the best CPU for AM4, but it costs around 300 Euros and would exceed the budget limit. The same applies to the i5-13400F, which currently costs around 250 Euros.
Which graphics card? Currently, the best choice is the RX 6700 XT. It offers excellent performance for Full HD and WQHD with a bit of leeway for 4K. An alternative would be the RTX 3070, but it costs around 100 Euros more for similar performance. With the 12 GB video memory of the RX 6700 XT, you are better off than with the 8 GB of an RTX 4060 Ti.
For an RTX 4070, you quickly pay 600 Euros or more and it cannot compete with the price-performance ratio of the models mentioned here (6700 XT, RTX 3070).
A used RTX 3080 would also be an option if you can get it under 500 Euros. This would also give you long-term reserves for 4K gaming.
An English video that compares the RTX 3070 and RX 6700 XT is embedded here for you:

Which mainboard? For a mainboard for an AMD processor, we would recommend the B450/B550 chipset. This offers more options than the entry-level range (A320, A420). Most B450 boards also provide enough space for future upgrades. For Intel, you’d be looking at B660 or H610 chipsets.
Which SSD? Currently, we would recommend 1 TB of system storage, as many games are requiring more and more storage. In principle, you can also add another inexpensive hard drive (HDD) with plenty of space.
The RX 6700 XT (here a model from PowerColor) is currently the best card for the mid-range along with the RTX 3070.
What memory should I choose? In 2023, 16 GB of DDR4 memory should be the absolute minimum. In some cases, 32 GB can also make sense, but 16 GB is still sufficient. With a mainboard that has 4 memory slots, you also have enough room for a later upgrade.
What power supply? 550 watts are completely sufficient for a combination of AMD Ryzen 5 5600RX and 6700 XT or RTX 3070. However, you could also buy a power supply with 600 watts. This would give you additional leeway for a future upgrade.
What case? With the Pure Base 500 from “be quiet!” you get a case with plenty of space, good build quality, and soundproofing. Additionally, it offers enough room if you later want to install a larger graphics card or liquid cooling. The Pure Base 500 is available in both glass and metal versions.
Gaming PC for 1000 Euros – More Tips
Where can I save more? In principle, you can look for a cheaper and simpler case. There are certainly some insider tips to be found, and you can save another 30 – 40 Euros. Good cases from Sharkoon or AeroCool are already available for around 50 Euros. You can also install a smaller SSD and save another 20 Euros this way.
Where could I spend more? If you choose the RX 6700 XT, you still have about 150 Euros left:
You could directly install 32 GB of RAM, which would cost an additional 40-60 Euros.
Another option would be a dedicated cooler for your CPU. The stock cooler of the Ryzen 5 5600 is already quite good, but for around 50 Euros, you can get significantly better coolers from “Noctua” or “be quiet!”.
Additionally, you could purchase another HDD for more storage to install your games. For a 1 TB HDD, you currently pay around 50 Euros.

A voice actor was invited to the studio for voice recordings to dub some lines for the English version of Diablo 4. However, he cannot find “himself” in the game and asks the fans for help. They are to assist him in rediscovering his role based on his spoken lines.
Who is the voice actor? Tony Rescigno has voiced barbarian spirits in Diablo 4. He has previously worked for Blizzard and was heard as “Norzo” in Diablo: Immortal.
Spoiler warning for Act 3: The following text contains content about a minor quest in the third act of Diablo 4. If you wish to experience the story unspoiled, you can catch up on the text at a later time.
What lines does he say in the game? The English-speaking voice actor is supposed to record the following lines (via reddit.com):
The forces of hell approach
We will never fail to the Prime Evils
Bul’Kathos grant me strength
The voice actor knew he would appear in the game at some point when barbarian spirits show up as foes. The spirits mistakenly think the player is a follower of the Great Evils and therefore attack him. The character must thus kill the spirits.
The trailer for the Barbarian class is available on MeinMMO:

Was the voice actor able to receive help? Indeed, the players were able to locate him. The voice actor appears during the story quest line in Act 3 (via youtube.com). There he voices the opposing barbarian spirits that attack the player in the sequence.
However, the voice actor has received not only help with his question but also many loving messages. Many users praise his great work in the comments and that he has become part of a game with which many players create beautiful memories:
Great work! And congratulations on bringing your signature to such a beautiful game.
Thank you for contributing to so many memories with your voice acting in Diablo that I will share with friends and family.
Man, this is awesome!! You sound fantastic!!
Some users also jokingly say that they killed him just a few hours ago. Of course, that refers not to the actor himself, but to his role as a barbarian spirit.
The voice actor even thanks the fans with a small video message because the kind words have clearly touched him:
The messages mean a lot to him and he is happy about so much love for his work. He is himself an avid gamer and working as a voice actor is very important to him. At the end of the video, the voice actor once again showcases his character’s voice and calls out to the fans that Bul’Kathos may grant them his strength.
Find out here what equipment values you should pay attention to for your armor in Diablo 4, how much armor you need, and which value you should rather avoid.
The deeper you dive into Diablo 4, the more it resembles a math essay. This applies to many values, especially armor.
You can find the basics of armor calculation here on MeinMMO. You will also receive recommendations on which values you should focus on and why elemental resistances do not belong to that.
Diablo 4: Immediately activate these 2 settings, otherwise you will miss important equipment values
Diablo 4: Armor value in detail
How does the armor value work? The Diablo experts from the site Maxroll.gg have broken down which computational backgrounds are important for the armor value (in English via maxroll.gg). Here are some facts you can remember (applies to PvE content):
Armor reduces incoming physical damage by up to 85%
50% of this reduction applies to elemental damage (cold, fire, lightning, poison, shadow)
Each point of “armor” gives you a percentage reduction in damage
These percentages decrease with increasing level – you need more armor
Armor progresses “linearly” with item power (example leg armor: power = armor)
If opponents are higher level than you, the damage reduction from armor decreases
How much armor do you need? The current data situation is still not optimal. However, there are already initial estimates and a picture from a developer stream helps with the calculations:
The graphic shows how much percentage of incoming damage is reduced when you have 1 armor value. It is clearly visible how this value decreases with each increasing level.
To reach the maximum of 85%, you will therefore need a higher armor value with each level. The following examples are approximate values:
Level 20: 0.0525% per point
2425 armor for 85%
Level 25: 0.042% per point
2930 armor for 85%
Level 100: 0.011% per point
7300 armor for 85%
These values, however, apply to opponents who are exactly at your level. In hell tide events or nightmare dungeons, opponents can hit you at level 150 – here the data situation is currently still unclear.
Your resistance to elemental damage is reduced by 50% in PvE. So you can only build up a maximum of 42.5% resistance to this type of damage via the normal armor value.
Which values are important? You should keep an eye on two values:
Armor value
Damage reduction
The damage reduction value reduces incoming damage. Only on this reduced damage are the 85% damage resistance of your armor value calculated.
You can increase your armor value with skull jewels, the legendary “Aspect of Disobedience”, and there are percentage increases on your equipment pieces:
Leg armor
Head armor
Chest armor
Amulet
Damage reduction can be obtained from many sources: skills, aspects, equipment – keep an eye out for this value. There are not only normal reductions but also special values such as “damage reduction from bleeding enemies”.
However, this value does not accumulate, but multiplies. The following example:
Chest armor: 10% damage reduction
Leg armor: 10% damage reduction
Shoes: 10% damage reduction against injured enemies
The damage reduction from uninjured enemies is then 19%. The increase decreases with each additional reduction. Injured enemies cause 27.1% less damage in this example.
However, there are also situations where the percentages are added – when the corresponding damage reduction comes from the same source. This is the case, for example, with the wizard skill “Mana Shield”: Each time you use 100 mana, you gain 5% damage reduction for 5 seconds.
Which value should be discarded? Resistances against elements. Values like “resistance against: shadow” or “resistance against all damage types” are less effective in comparison.
The calculation works very similarly to damage reduction, and the values are accordingly multiplied. However, elemental resistance is drastically reduced in Diablo 4 – always by at least 50%.
If you play at World Tier 3 or 4, it is even harsher. Elemental resistance is further reduced by 20% at Tier 3 and by 40% at Tier 4.
Since your normal armor value and the damage reduction value already reduce incoming elemental damage, focus on these values instead and avoid elemental resistances on your equipment.
The crisp difficulty of the early Zelda games was once too much for Spider-Man Chris Pine. But more than 30 years later, the 43-year-old discovers that gaming can also be fun – and is excited about an ancient feature.
Who is it about? The Californian actor Chris Pine made his film debut in 2004 in the comedy “The Princess Diaries 2”. More recently, he provided the voice for Spider-Man in Into the Spider-Verse.
During a press tour for his latest film, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, the 43-year-old spoke in March about his love-hate relationship with video games (via 3D Juegos).

What relationship does the actor have with Zelda? As Chris Pine admits to People magazine, he was ruthlessly defeated by the early Zelda games: “I basically gave up video games in 1988 when I repeatedly failed at Zelda.”
He really wanted to be good at Zelda back then, the actor said. The failure traumatized him. After that, he didn’t touch any games for over 30 years. People magazine posted the clip on TikTok, and we have embedded it here:

What game brought the twist now? Chris Pine reports that a few days before the interview, he played Mario Kart with some kids: That was incredibly fun.
A feature particularly excited the actor: The controllers vibrate nowadays! This capability was already given to the Nintendo 64 controller in 1997 with the Rumble Pak and has long been part of the gaming experience for many gamers, but Chris Pine had missed this milestone until now.
In fact, the 43-year-old had so much fun that he would have liked to continue playing. However, the kids eventually got bored.
Maybe Chris Pine can sit down with his Hollywood colleague Henry Cavill (Superman, The Witcher) and snag some game recommendations. After all, he is known to be a huge nerd – which not all his guests can relate to:
So far, several players have reached level 100 in Diablo 4. Wudijo has also succeeded and has faced the hardest boss in the game. This failed, and he had to abandon the fight before losing his character.
Who is the expert? Wudijo is a German streamer and expert in Diablo, whose opinion many fans have appreciated for years. As for the tier list for the best classes and builds in Diablo, he is one of the experts on whose assessment it is based.
How you can also quickly reach level 100, you can see here:

Diablo 4: How to quickly reach level 100
The list is filling up
Who are the first to reach level 100 in Diablo? In hardcore mode, “cArn_” reached level 100 with his character and thus earned an inscription on the Lilith statue. According to cArn_, the grind was very exhausting.
“Rob2628” secured level 100 just 54 hours and 30 minutes after the release – but “only” in normal mode. He ended his run with the words “That was fun!”
Now Wudijo is joining in as well. He has reached level 100 solo, meaning without playing with friends, in hardcore mode.
With his level 100 huntress, Wudijo set out in his livestream, which has already lasted over 14 hours, as one of the first players to take on the hardest boss in Diablo 4 – Echo of Lilith.
However, there was a problem after the first phase.
Here you can watch the failed attempt:

What problem did he have? In the stream video you can see how Wudijo prepares for the fight. Previously, he consumed a potion that temporarily makes him immune and grants him a shield in a threatening situation.
As you can see in the clip by the symbols over his ability bar, the effect of the potion is wearing off. Before he loses his protection, he teleports back to the city after the first phase of the fight, which lasted about 24 minutes.
Once there, Wudijo says that the fight takes too long. His potion would not be enough for that. He needs at least two of them, but he cannot currently craft them.
Nevertheless, he laughs and says: “The fight is epic!”
Why did he abandon the fight? In hardcore mode, you lose your character upon death. This is, of course, frustrating, especially considering the many hours of gameplay invested. If you don’t want to grind non-stop, you can spend several weeks on it and have to start over upon death.
After 18 hours, Wudijo ends his livestream and says: “We haven’t defeated Lilith yet. But we will.”
Wudijo put together his hunter build in just 5 minutes, but in the next attempt, he wants to think more about it, says the player. If you want to save yourself the contemplation, we have a build for you here:
The zombie game “The Day Before” was once the most anticipated game on Steam, until a series of problems damaged the game’s reputation. After a delay in the release date, the game is set to launch on November 10. In June 2023, the team gives a new interview and shows a fighting spirit. But a new trailer primarily evokes one thing from observers: mockery.
This is the situation:
The Day Before suddenly appeared on Steam in 2021 as a game in development and seemed like a mix of “The Last of Us” and “The Division.” It appears that many players wished for something like “The Division, but with zombies.”
As the first trailers looked good and the game concept interested many, “The Day Before” became the most wished-for game on Steam, raising doubts about whether a relatively unknown team could truly deliver such a game.
Everything you need to know about the new MMO The Day Before – In 2 Minutes
This is what the team says now: In an interview with Well Played, the team from Fntastic appears combative:
They are confident about winning the dispute over the name, as they were the first with “The Day Before” in the video game sector. That must count for something:
We want to assure our community that our Steam page will be back soon. We will return to the top of Steam’s wish list.
What kind of game is “The Day Before” supposed to be? The team says they are indeed orienting themselves towards “The Last of Us” and “The Division,” but they also draw a lot of inspiration from observing the environment and studying “human behavior.”
The game will be a “post-apocalyptic sandbox” with an open world. Players will explore a city with skyscrapers, “New Fortune City,” where they can buy houses and vehicles:
Even though our game primarily focuses on “player versus player” combat, it will also include quests centered around the restoration of society. In The Day Before, the fate of humanity truly lies in your hands.
They have created various types of “infected” within the limits of reality. However, the focus is not solely on zombies, but on the players’ experience of navigating the world after its downfall.
The team’s goal is to provide the most thrilling survival experience of the year.
This is the new trailer for The Day Before from June 2023:

The Day Before June 2023 Teaser Trailer
“They remove PvE and add sports cars – This will be legendary”
What are the reactions to the trailer? The new trailer showcases a sports car. The reactions on YouTube are mocking, as so much luxury doesn’t fit in the world:
“That looks just like the scene from “I Am Legend” when Will Smith drove the GT500.”
“I’m pretty sure the logistical decision during the apocalypse is to drive a Lambo.”
Furthermore, the fact that Fntastic downplays PvE in the interview is not well received on YouTube:
“Removed PvE and added sports cars – that seems set to become legendary.”
Overall, the steep decline of “The Day Before” is addressed. It is mentioned that the last exclusive trailer aired at IGN (so in the top league), now it is at Well Played (some leagues below). That is already more than strange.
But on the other hand, a user says: “I can’t even laugh about it right now. Diablo just came out.”
Indeed, many in the target audience of The Day Before seem to be enjoying other games right now, even after the rather weak recent videos about the game:
The soda company Coca-Cola apparently wants to approach the target group “gamers”, but seems not to understand them. After an advertising campaign aimed at gamers in 2021, they are now trying with a special cola for League of Legends. However, even the limited cola for LoL seems clumsy.
This is Coca-Cola’s new idea:
Coca-Cola has teamed up with Riot Games and developed a limited cola based on League of Legends.
The cola is supposed to taste like “experience points”. The “Coca-Cola Ultimate Zero Sugar” will be launched in the USA, Canada, China, South Korea, Latin America and Africa. In the USA, Canada and Mexico there will also be a version with sugar.
Additionally, the drinks feature a QR code that leads to an Instagram filter, making you look like a LoL champion.

LoL: Arcane music video for Enemy
What do they say about the drink? Coca-Cola says in a press release that the cola “offers fans and players the taste of experience points (+Xp) and celebrates the player’s journey”.
The statement from Riot is (somewhat helpless): “We are excited for the players to be able to taste the new flavor of +XP, a unique and tailored collaboration with Coca-Cola, a globally recognized brand loved by millions. They share many of the gaming-oriented values that we have at Riot, and we are proud to be the first gaming collaboration with Coca-Cola.”
Coca-Cola Ultimate is the 17th “Coca-Cola Creation”.
85 % cola – 15 % something unexpected
And what does it taste like now? When asked directly by CNN how the cola tastes, a spokeswoman responds:
We will never really answer this question. It’s a “mystery flavor”. The taste profile is always, as we say, 85–90 % cola. And then it’s 10 to 15 % of something unexpected.
The taste is said to be “more interesting” than, for example, a vanilla coke. They want to test the “boundaries”.
We will probably have to wait until June 12th. Only then will the cola go on sale in the USA and Canada. The brave ones will surely provide the first reports.
What is the problem? As Forbes notes, it is already bold to advertise with “tastes like experience points in LoL”. That is not only something that does not exist in the real world, even in the game, experience points have no form, but are an abstract concept.
In our editorial office, colleague Maik Schneider asked, in response to the hint that it tastes like LoL: “So it tastes salty?”
Perhaps the tears of the players are the secret ingredient.
The idea that gamers specifically long for “the taste of experience points in LoL” seems to completely miss the mark with gamers. This is a category that probably no one thinks of.
Even Riot Games’ reasoning that with “Coca-Cola” they share the same player-focused values seems to be completely meaningless marketing talk.
What experiences has Coca-Cola already had with gamers? Two years ago, Coca-Cola launched an advertising campaign aimed at gamers, which, however, seemed clumsy:
The new game by Blizzard, Diablo 4, has just been released and the first players are finding special items. A Barbarian has discovered the “Fists of Fate,” a unique item that challenges fate in Diablo 4? The player compares it to a slot machine.
While normal items provide various bonuses depending on “prefix” or “affix,” unique items are fixed in their values. Special builds are often created around them that enhance the uniqueness of the items.
Diablo 4 now also offers these “special items”: According to initial lists on the internet (via windowscentral), there are supposed to be 14 general items that can equip multiple classes, and an additional 8 to 9 items specifically made for one class. We have explained how you can get the unique items here on MeinMMO.

Gloves turn every hit into a gamble
A Barbarian has now found these gloves: A Barbarian found the “Fists of Fate” and proudly displays them on reddit.
He says:
Has anyone else found these bad boys? It’s like playing on my own slot machine when Frenzy is active with every hit. With each hit, I wonder: Am I hitting for 1 or for 30,000? Hit and find out.
Because the hits of the player wearing the gloves deal between 1 to 280% of their normal damage. So the Barbarian can either hit extremely hard or like a fly, it all depends on fate.
The inscription on the gloves, the flavor text, confirms this: “Will you let fear deceive you, or will you risk everything to find insight? Ultimately, fate is just a coin with which we pay for life – Zurke.”

This is what the gloves can do: The gloves have another mechanic that activates on the “Lucky Hit” (lucky hit). The Barbarian has a 50% chance for such a lucky hit. When a lucky hit occurs, it triggers a specific effect from the gloves, which again occurs with a certain probability.
It’s kind of like a double coin toss:
The first toss decides if a lucky hit occurs at all
If the first toss is successful, the second toss decides what specific effect occurs – enemies can be stunned or paralyzed. The Barbarian can heal himself or restore his primary resource.
How is this being discussed? In the comments, Diablo fans mainly talk about luck and the law of series. Players say that despite a 50% chance to make enemies more vulnerable, they made 9 hits in a row without the effect occurring.
Experienced Diablo players are already seeing ways to combine the gloves with other items to increase hit speed or improve chances.
Diablo was invented over 20 years ago as “Ultima meets slot machine”
This is the background: In any case, the item seems to fit well with Diablo. The developers of Diablo 1 viewed Diablo as a kind of “gambling machine,” where you pull the lever and either get loot or not.
back then, RPGs like Ultima or Might and Magic focused heavily on story and characters
in Diablo, it was supposed to be about loot. Brevik said: “Let’s skip all the crap and get straight to killing and looting”
When you killed a monster in Diablo, it should feel like pulling the lever of a slot machine and either getting nothing or a win. Every time a powerful item dropped, it felt like hitting the jackpot.
In earlier Diablo games, players set themselves the task of finding “all uniques” in the game. This is called “the Holy Grail”:
Streamer Tyler “TrainwrecksTV” Niknam was known for gambling on Twitch. After his chosen casino was banned there, he made Kick his new streaming home. Now he has revealed how much he lost in one night of gambling – and he even seems proud of it.
On June 7, TrainwrecksTV addressed his biggest gambling night in a stream of his colleague Adin Ross. According to Trainwrecks, Adin Ross was wrongfully banned on Twitch.
Here you can see Twitch bans that caused a stir:

The 5 biggest Twitch bans that caused a lot of commotion
When asked what the largest amount was that he lost in a gambling night, TrainwrecksTV said:
On one day it was, I believe, 24.9 million US dollars. I understand that many haters or many, you know, insecure, spiteful, jealous streamers will think this is fake, but if they knew my deal.
There is not a single streamer, no one, not even MrBeast himself, who would have made the deal as transparently and authentically as I did. No one would do that.
There were no safety measures, it was gambling, it was authentic. […] That was “crazy shit.”
By “the deal” he apparently refers to a highly lucrative agreement with Stake, which Trainwreck disclosed in October 2022: the online casino was said to have paid him $750,000 a day, apparently he received the money to gamble in the casino in front of thousands of viewers on Twitch.
What does he mean by the MrBeast comparison? MrBeast is known for his extravagant projects and his actions for charitable causes. However, TrainwrecksTV openly talking about his gambling has little to do with this topic.
Trainwreck just wants to emphasize how transparent he is with his winnings and losses.
The video in which TrainwrecksTV comments on the enormous amount of money he has lost triggered numerous reactions on the popular LivestreamFail subreddit.
How does the community react? EbolaMan123 writes: “That’s more money than I will see in my entire life.”
Locke10815 comments: “More money than probably over 98% of people will see in their entire lives,” and jokes: “I’m really sorry for him. Is there a GoFundMe page (a page for fundraising) for him?”
Schmarsten1306 writes: “He’s just promoting Stake by depositing money into his own gambling account to advertise for Stake. What a fool.”
Stake is an online casino where various casino games are offered. The casino itself, the streamers who aggressively promote it, and the platform Kick associated with Stake are all viewed very critically from the outside.
At the same time, Stake was one of the platforms that Twitch explicitly named in September 2022 as examples of banned sites.

A few days ago, the Twitch streamer cArn_ reached Level 100 in Hardcore mode of Diablo 4. Now he has lost his character and numerous hours of gameplay due to a disconnect and has to start over.
Anyone who has ever played a hardcore mode in games knows how much time, sweat, and effort you invest in your characters. With one death, you lose everything, because there is no respawn in that mode.
This is something cArn_ has now also experienced. He was the first hardcore player, who secured a place in the coveted ranking. And due to a bug, he lost his Level 100 Barbarian.
Here you can see how you can get your characters to Level 100 as well:

A disconnect and everything is gone
How did he die? Actually, he didn’t “really” die, as you would suspect in a hardcore game. He didn’t die due to a tough boss fight or from being overwhelmed by many individual enemies or by the feared Butcher.
In a clip from his livestream on June 6, you can see how cArn_ is carving through hordes of enemies with his Barbarian. Suddenly, his character behaves strangely, it jerks, lags, and does not respond to key commands. The screen freezes and then turns black. cArn_ reacts with: “Hello? Are you joking?”

In the stream video, you can see that he couldn’t log in for minutes. In the following video, character creation appears. It quickly becomes clear: cArn_ has no available characters left and must create a new one to continue playing.
On realizing that he has to start over, he reacts with exclamations of “What the hell?” He then creates a new character, initially a Barbarian, but later a Hunter.
The official Diablo account congratulates him. But the death of his character is also mentioned:

Spoiler Warning: If you want to read more about the boss, you will likely learn the end of the story campaign. We discuss the boss here in detail in the article. If you want to back out now, here is an exciting alternative:
What makes the boss so hard? You fight against the echo of Lilith in the challenge, who returns as the “Incarnation of Hatred” after her defeat in Act 6 – with significantly more life and new abilities.
Over several phases, you will have to fight her and some minions, using mechanics similar to a boss from an MMORPG. She keeps disappearing and covering the entire platform with abilities that you must evade.
The fight requires you to find an optimal balance between offense and defense in your build while also being mobile enough to evade. One of the best players in the world, Wudijo, has already tried against the boss at level 80, but was defeated multiple times after over an hour (via YouTube).

Blizzard locks “Pinnacle Boss” due to loot issues
In the official forum, community manager Adam Fletcher writes that the team is currently working on fixing a few items related to this boss fight. This was on June 6, the official release of Diablo 4.
How long it will take or which items are specifically involved, Fletcher does not say. However, a helmet should be obtainable from the Lilith echo, which will be the best item for almost all classes. Whether there are other loot sources for this is not confirmed so far.
The team will provide an update as soon as they know more. However, the majority of players probably won’t even be close to the challenge yet. Leveling to level 100 will take several days for the average player, even though some elite players are already complaining that there is too little to do:
A new secret in Season 21 of Destiny 2 offers the option for better loot in the seasonal activity “Dives”. However, this is only for players who know how to dive deep and activate the mini-event. MeinMMO has the necessary insider knowledge for you.
What secret has been discovered? Every season in Destiny 2 brings not only new loot but also small secrets that you might not discover immediately and are not explained directly. This is also the case in the seasonal activity of Season 21 called “Dives”.
In the “Dives” of the weekly mission, the Guardians dive deeper into the ocean of Titan to collect energy. This energy is needed by Sloane to communicate with the mysterious underwater being Ahsa.
Here, you dive to depths of 1000 m and 2750 m. But only Guardians who know how to dive properly to 5000 m gain access to better loot and a higher chance of Depths weapons.
To find this secret, you simply need to pay attention to your surroundings. MeinMMO will tell you exactly what to look out for, what difficulties there are, and how you can improve the loot from Tier-1 to Tier-7. So, look for loot with significantly improved stats.

Destiny 2: New dungeon “Ghosts of the Deep” from Season 21 brings the Ghoul into play
Whoever calls the darkness gets better loot
Here’s how to get the extra loot box in Dives: The new secret requires all three players to interact with a sphere that looks like Toland and thereby “call the darkness”. This triggers a unique and challenging mini-event in the activity.
The sphere can always be found in fixed locations. So, if you know where to run, you can activate the event quickly. It is usually easy to recognize once you know what you’re looking for.
Toland is easy to recognize once you know what to look for
Every time you reach the next depth, you need to activate the sphere again. If successful, the strength of the challenge increases steadily.
What you need to do exactly is random.
Sometimes it’s about standing in glowing pools to cleanse them
Or several Degraded-Fester spheres or domes appear that you need to eliminate quickly.
After that, the new challenge just needs to be mastered. It usually consists of killing a bunch of enemies and surviving all waves before the timer runs out. The deeper you dive, the harder and tougher the enemies become.
Such secret events happen repeatedly in Destiny 2 – for example on Neomuna:
What loot do you get for this? Without the interaction with the darkness by every Guardian, there is only a normal Tier-1 chest at the end of the activity.
However, for completing the special mini-event, all Guardians are rewarded with more and better loot. Then a second chest drops at the end of the dive.
It is possible to maximize loot chests to Tier-7 – if you master everything.
You also get an increased chance for weapons with Depths vision.
Additionally, there is a large amount of reputation rank, over 500, for the sonar station, and fishing lures are also in abundant quantities.
Materials drop as well, such as enhancement prisms or ascendant shards
What does the term Tier-1 or Tier-7 loot mean in Destiny?
Loot that drops for you in the game is classified in Destiny 2 by its rarity level. Tier-1 loot is the most common and easiest loot you can receive. Tier-7 loot drops generally have higher stats that can improve your abilities in the game. They usually drop only in special endgame activities, such as raids or Trials of Osiris.
Players have also confirmed on the Destiny Reddit that the extra chest dropped exotic armor for them.
Additionally, speculation occurs on Reddit that if the maximum dive depth in Season 21 is reached, this additional chest could drop the last remaining exotic weapon in the “Season of Depths”.
The mini-event has 2 major problems
Whoever succeeds and calls the darkness can dive up to 5000 m deep
With player search, it rarely works: The biggest difficulty of the mini-event is getting every player to interact with the sphere – otherwise, the chest won’t be activated.
Especially for Guardians who complete their dives using player search, this is a huge problem. Their teammates are often clueless and know nothing about the extra loot. And since the sphere doesn’t shout: “Interact with me for free extra loot,” many Guardians miss the opportunity.
As astorj writes on the Destiny Reddit: “Honestly, I’ve given up trying to get my teammates to understand that there’s a damn sphere. […]”
How absurd it is for the “informed” has been humorously captured by Destiny 2 player SpaceMagicgo in a humorous video on Reddit:

Players wish for a ping system: So it’s not that easy to get a random team to activate the option for more loot.
There is a chat system in Destiny 2 to communicate, but whether or not to activate it is up to each player. Additionally, it is usually disabled by default on consoles.
Basically, it’s a pure gamble if you don’t play the activity in a fixed fireteam without player search and try to activate the mini-event.
The solution would be a ping system for Destiny 2. Most competitive FPS games like Apex Legends, Overwatch 2, and Warzone 2 all have context-based ping options.
Here the integrated LFG system is missing: Of course, a ping system would be nice, but it seems much more likely that the diving activity is heavily linked to the presence of the announced but not yet integrated internal LFG system. This was supposed to be active already, but Bungie postponed it to the last seasons of the Lightfall DLC.
Additionally, the second problem is that it’s not always possible to master all challenges, as it is crucial to work with a coordinated team as the difficulty increases.
Just casually hopping through isn’t possible anymore and thus time runs out while players revive each other. As so often, communication is the key to success.
So don’t be discouraged by the challenge and dive deeper to reach the Tier-7 chest. Feel free to share this knowledge, as the more players know about the sphere, the higher the chances for everyone that the event is activated in each dive.
Have you already been among the initiated and knew about the sphere and the extra loot option? Or are you facing the same problem that you can’t get your random teammates to activate the mini-event? And what is the highest reward tier in the dive that you have reached so far? Feel free to let us know in the comments.

That some series productions require an enormous budget has been shown by titles like Stranger Things and WandaVision. With nearly 500 million dollars, the Lord of the Rings prequel “The Rings of Power” overshadows everything else and is more expensive than all “The Witcher“–seasons combined.
The first season of “The Rings of Power”, the highly anticipated Lord of the Rings prequel on Amazon, has left viewers with mixed reactions.
However, regardless of opinions about the content of the series, it is clear that it sets new standards in terms of production costs. In fact, the budget for the first season of “The Rings of Power” exceeds the total costs of one of the most popular series in recent years on Netflix.

Lord of the Rings – The Rings of Power: The official trailer for the series
Why is the Lord of the Rings prequel so expensive? For the rights alone, around 250 million dollars, or approximately 235 million euros at the current exchange rate, had to be paid. According to Amazon Studios head Jennifer Sake, Amazon is building an infrastructure that will support the entire “The Rings of Power” series.
In total, the costs amount to around 465 million dollars, making it higher than the total costs for all three Lord of the Rings adaptations – which were around 281 million dollars.
Other series productions have also been quite expensive; this one cost about half as much as The Rings of Power, but was canceled after just one season. And many have never even heard of it.
Compared to “The Rings of Power”, “The Witcher” is almost a bargain
How expensive has The Witcher been in comparison? Compared to the Lord of the Rings prequel, it is clear that The Witcher does not come close to the enormous production costs. The first season of The Witcher cost around 92 million dollars, while the second season cost about 176 million dollars.

Witcher: Trailer for the TV series on Netflix
The miniseries The Witcher: Blood Origin has a cost of around 50 million dollars (via 3DJuegos). This means that Netflix has so far invested about 318 million dollars into the The Witcher franchise.
Netflix had hoped for more. As our colleagues from 3DJuegos report, the subscription service’s plan was to make The Witcher its biggest franchise.
Initially, this worked well – within the first four weeks, 76 million households watched the first season of the series about the monster hunter Geralt.
However, Netflix then distanced itself from the community, as evidenced by the YouTube comments on the new trailer.
Fans blame Netflix for the recasting of the lead role
How are fans reacting to the trailer? That the role of the monster hunter is being recast and that we will see Henry Cavill as Geralt one last time in the third season has caused displeasure among many fans.
User Agniva Chakraborty writes under the YouTube video: “No one could have played Geralt better. Thank you for that, Henry Cavill. We will miss you.” and receives over 1000 likes.
“Respect your actors, respect the source, respect your audience. Thank you, Henry, you spoke for all of us.” writes Allstar Snave. This presumably refers to Henry Cavill wanting to stay true to the original story as a fan of The Witcher games.
And over 16,000 YouTube users agree with the comment by liking it.

“He should be a Spider-Person, a quirky, old Spider-Person”
The fans’ wish for actor Pedro Pascal to get a Spider-Verse role was sparked by an interview.
In an interview with GQ Magazine, actor Oscar Isaac, who voices the character Miguel O’Hara in Across the Spider-Verse, was asked whom he would like to have in the next film:
“I don’t know. They [the filmmakers] are so brilliant at finding the right person for the right role, but maybe Pedro Pascal. Let’s find something for him. He should be a Spider-Person, a quirky, old Spider-Person” (via gq-magazine.com).
Following this, the character designer of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Kris Anka, spoke on Twitter and commented: “I’m sure I can create something”.
How does the community react to this? In the Twitter comments, many users express their enthusiasm about the idea of Pedro Pascal getting a Spider role. Some directly suggest characters that the actor could take on under Anka’s post:
ArturArouk: “Pedro Pascal as Superior Spider-Man would be a dream.”
Q_Review: “Listen to me. Uncle Ben as Spider-Man. In the comics, it happened – a universe where Peter died and Uncle Ben became Spider-Man.”
Some players finished with Diablo 4 before most could even play and are now complaining that there is not enough to do. This has led to mockery from the “normies”, who find the doomsday sermons amusing.
Why are people grinding so hard?
Diablo 4 is the first new Diablo in the main series in 11 years. Diablo 3 was released in 2012, Diablo Immortal is a mobile spin-off.
Accordingly, the new installment is very popular. It is even the fastest-selling game in Blizzard’s history (via Twitter).
This is the reaction: On Reddit, in forums, and other social media, players share their opinions and impressions of Diablo 4. However, especially on Reddit, there are always players complaining about the state of the game.
Their criticism: there is too little to do, one can only grind and nothing else, and the game has numerous issues overall. The biggest points of criticism include (via GameStar):
missing quality-of-life content such as a bag for gems, loot filters, and customization
flaws in the UI, such as the lack of ability to disable player names
Although the endgame offers plenty of content, these core gamers focus on content that provides them with the best rewards in the shortest amount of time. Instead of experiencing the entire game, they optimize everything in every spot.
Exactly this is causing resistance from people who just want to play “normally” and are annoyed by the “small minority” of complaining elite players.
In our expert review, Diablo 4 is received extremely well:
Start video
How good will Diablo 4 be? The expert’s conclusion after the test
“Don’t you want the game you haven’t played to get better?”
This is how the “normies” react: In a huge thread on Reddit, a player created a satire post. There, he takes on the position of one of these core gamers who has played dozens of hours since early access and now thinks the game is dumb.
By wearing diapers and putting meth instead of milk in his coffee, he was able to play 24/7 and now has the opportunity to complain extensively. It can’t be that Diablo 4 isn’t exactly like Diablo 1 and at the same time something completely new and different.
Others agree, saying: “Why couldn’t this just be a reskin for Diablo 3?” The game in which they sank 12,500 hours, 12,000 of which they spent merely complaining. There’s even a completely separate thread about this.
The topic, framed this way, brings laughs and shows that a large majority of people just want to play first. What to complain about after 100 hours will be seen then. Until then, Blizzard will likely continue to deliver.
Is all of this nonsense? No, there is indeed legitimate criticism that is well-received in the community. The user WuluChief13, for instance, writes: “The no-lifers have a point. […] ARPGs are repetitive, but too many problems come together in Diablo 4’s endgame that make it boring-repetitive, not fun-repetitive.”
The discussions initiated by such elite players are good for considerations. Because the likelihood is high that casuals will eventually encounter these problems if they haven’t been resolved by then. And blind defenders who immediately block any criticism are just as annoying.
While the two extremes usually attract more attention, there is certainly constructive criticism in between on Reddit and co. And Blizzard has been working almost daily on hotfixes and patches since early access.
Whether the community will ever agree is still open. The discussion has been ongoing for weeks:
Because your chances of Shinys with legendary Pokémon were too poor, there will soon be compensation from Niantic. We will show you what the team from Pokémon GO has to say about it.
What was wrong with the Shiny chances? A few days ago, trainers in Pokémon GO noticed that there were unannounced changes in the game. A Japanese website collected data from some players and found that the Shiny chances in remote raids apparently deteriorated.
This realization quickly spread throughout the community, and trainers were really angry. First, remote raids became more expensive, and now they are also worse? In the meantime, developer Niantic responded with a message to the players.
Apology and compensation from Niantic
This is what Niantic says: On the morning of June 7, Niantic’s support account reached out to players on Twitter. They mentioned technical problems that were responsible for the poor Shiny chances.
Trainers, we have fixed a technical problem that affected the shiny appearance rate of Selfe, Vesprit, and Tobutz in remote raids. We apologize for this and will soon publish details of a special raid event on the Pokémon GO blog.
As an apology for the players who fought these bosses through remote raids, the team has also thought of something. In a follow-up tweet, it says:
“Affected trainers will also receive a remote raid pass for every raid they participated in during that period. Additionally, they will receive an extra [remote raid pass] that will be directly assigned to their Pokémon GO account.”
When exactly the replacement event will take place is still unclear at this time. However, we know from past apology events that they have always occurred quite promptly.
Were you also affected by these raid problems, and did you notice them while raiding, or were you not involved in the new raids at all? Please share your opinion here on MeinMMO in the comments and exchange thoughts with other trainers.
With “Barbie,” a new movie featuring Margot Robbie will hit theaters this summer. If you want to pass the time until then, you can watch the actress on Netflix in one of her most famous roles.
Margot Robbie is an Australian actress who is currently in high demand in Hollywood. Some of her well-known films include “The Wolf of Wall Street” (2013) and “Tonya” (2017).
However, many fans celebrate her mainly as the supervillain Harley Quinn. The character comes from the DC Universe. In the comics, she started as a former psychiatrist who became the companion and love interest of the Joker.
Here you can see a trailer for Birds of Prey: The Emancipation of Harley Quinn:

Birds Of Prey: The Emancipation Of Harley Quinn Trailer
Harley Quinn as a strong protagonist
Margot Robbie made her first appearance as Harley Quinn in the antihero film “Suicide Squad” (2016). However, there were discussions in the community about how the character was portrayed.
Critics argued that the filmmakers had merely overlooked Harley Quinn’s tragic background – instead, they had sexualized her in a crude manner. The colleagues from Moviepilot even stated, the film did not deserve the hype around Harley Quinn.
However, with Birds of Prey: The Emancipation of Harley Quinn, the character received a sort of remake under the direction of Cathy Yan. The antiheroine emerges from her breakup with the Joker as a self-determined main character who now experiences her own adventure and shows more nuanced facets of herself.
You can currently watch Birds of Prey: The Emancipation of Harley Quinn (2020) on Netflix.
What is Birds of Prey: The Emancipation of Harley Quinn about? After breaking up with the Joker, Harley Quinn finds a new group of superheroes to join. Together with Black Canary, Huntress, and The Question, they fight against the villain Black Mask.
When will Margot Robbie’s new movie be released? Barbie will premiere in German theaters on July 20, 2023. Alongside Margot Robbie in the lead role, Ryan Gosling will appear as Ken. In the film, the doll is banished from her homeland and subsequently enters the real world.
