On Wednesday, October 25, Patch 13.21 was released and brought some changes to League of Legends, including for the tank hybrid K’Sante. He has become significantly stronger, as a professional apparently had to find out unprepared.
After a rework, K’Sante was played more often, but remained more in the mid-range. That has now changed.
K’Sante is now this strong: In the latest Patch 13.21, K’Sante received buffs to all his abilities. He now deals more damage and can use his skills more reliably. You can find the patch notes in detail on the official LoL website.
The buff has a significant impact on his win rate. From around 50%, K’Sante now rises to almost 60% win rate in the upper echelon and is according to OP.GG the absolute strongest champ on the top lane in Platinum and above.
The higher the rank, the stronger K’Sante becomes. While he stands at 51.23% in Platinum+, he reaches 55.83% in the Grandmaster tier and even 57.41% among the Challengers. Not even Jax is that strong at the moment.

Vermintide 2 is most enjoyable when you can play it together with friends. It’s ideal if everyone has a similar level of knowledge so that no one gets overwhelmed or under-challenged, and you learn together. It’s almost impossible to make yourself “worse” in Vermintide 2.
However, the game is primarily aimed at players with a high tolerance for frustration. A single mistake can cause your entire group to be wiped out, even on low difficulty levels.

In Starfield, there are many planets to explore, but not all of them are inhabited and hence appear rather empty. A former developer from Bethesda believes that the game would be better if there were fewer planets.

This was the discussion: There had been many discussions in the developer studio about the scope of Starfield. In the interview with Ben Hanson, former Bethesda developer Bruce Nesmith remembers:
At one point I said: “I bet this game would be much better if we limited ourselves to about two dozen solar systems and focused on those.” Well, you have to know how to build a planet so that people can walk around on it.
Todd [Howard] practically pulled the number 100 for the number of star systems out of thin air. But the further we progressed, the more it became clear that all core activities would take place in these two dozen inhabited systems, and the rest is open space. But people love our big games; they love these open areas to explore.
And then it came down to how we could make exploration meaningful. And once again, you have to succeed on a planet. Once you have this formula, you have the formula for all planets.
When it came to how the studio could make exploration in Starfield meaningful, tough decisions had to be made. Nesmith says in the interview:
I think some of the exploration elements did not turn out as well as they could have because they chose to pursue other options.
In every game studio on this planet, people know what decisions they make. They know what won’t be included, and they know what players will complain about. But you have to make hard decisions.
The fact that players feel drawn to the “option of building their own ship” makes Nesmith very happy personally because he has “worked very hard on it.”

A current example of the creativity and determination of players to simplify activities is the revival of the legendary double shotgun DPS glitch, which Bungie had actually already nerfed.
Which glitch is back now? The double shotgun DPS glitch was the dominant method in Destiny 2 two years ago to defeat raid bosses at extraordinary speed.

Players equip two shotguns.

Some players wonder if Bungie will attempt to stop the glitch again or if they will tolerate players’ creative approach this time? It will certainly be crucial to see how much this glitch influences the game’s balancing.

How does the Shot-Cancel work? In the video, the FIFA pro first explains which button combination you need to press to execute the Shot-Cancel.
For the trick, shortly after you load a shot on target, you need to press the L2 and R2 buttons on PlayStation or the LT and RT buttons on Xbox simultaneously. Your actual input command will then be interrupted before execution.
The AI of the keepers cannot handle this cancelled shot, as seen in the video, and slips past the ball. The Shot-Cancel offers a significant advantage over the normal fake shot, which you can execute by pressing the shoot and pass button simultaneously.
The cancelled shot allows for quicker change of movement with tighter ball control. And the best part is: Every player can perform this Shot-Cancel to the same extent.
When is it best to execute the Shot-Cancel? Another helpful tip for execution is provided by the former FIFA world champion of 2022 in the above linked explanation video.
The Shot-Cancel is most effective when you perform it just before the goalkeeper. The likelihood that the goalkeeper slips past the ball after the shot is cancelled is significantly higher then.
Just be aware that there is no opponent directly behind you, as this increases the risk that they will steal the ball at the last moment.
That brings us to the end of our brief Shot-Cancel guide.
ARK: Survival Ascended is a revised version of the base game ARK: Survival Evolved, which is supposed to run on Unreal Engine 5 with nicer graphics and a cleaned-up code. There should also be cross-platform modding so that console players can finally enjoy mods.
Remake or Remaster? Recently, it was unclear whether ARK: Survival Ascended was a remake or a remaster. In the first announcement of the game, it was referred to as a remaster (via survivetheark.com), but just recently Wildcard referred to the title as a remake (via Steam). Since the term “remake” has also been used after the release of the early access version, we will stick with that now.
Controversy over the shutdown of the official servers
After Wildcard received harsh criticism for the shutdown plans, the studio explained the reasons behind the decision. In a statement on April 7, it was stated that the official servers of ARK: Survival Evolved were based on “outdated technology” and consumed “considerable development resources and time for operation and maintenance” (via survivetheark).
To counter the loss of progress, the developers made a snapshot of the save data on the day of the shutdown, which was subsequently provided to the players. With these save files, they were able to continue playing on private servers or in solo lobbies.
Nevertheless, many players of the original game are not fans of ARK: Survival Ascended, as they have to repurchase all the content they already owned in ARK: Survival Evolved – especially if they want to play on official and not private multiplayer servers.

How did it go? Trymacs seems to have set himself one goal in a 17-minute segment released on YouTube on October 24: to get out of debt! Building a city in Cities: Skylines II is not easy at all since such a city initially consumes a lot of money.
It’s even harder when you have no idea what you’re doing. Trymacs explains right at the start that he hasn’t played the first part. He has at least watched videos about it, so the streamer dives right in.
Since videos can only substitute practical experience to a limited extent, the coal power plant is placed in close proximity and in the wind direction to the residential area – and immediately after that, he reads the warning that this is exactly what should be avoided.
Quickly, though, the streamer is more excited that there’s now electricity. How his residents feel about having a substation in their backyard is another matter.

Which spell trick are we talking about? The spell trick True Strike, is frustrating players in Baldur’s Gate 3. The spell allows you to select a target within nine meters. You gain insight into its defense and thus have advantage on attack rolls against the target on your next turn.

What are spell tricks?
Spell tricks, in the original English Cantrips, are minor spells that do not require a spell slot. They can be cast as often as you like, as they have become second nature to your character. These skills are as simple as breathing.
In combat, they can be used to conserve your wizard or sorcerer’s spell slots. Outside of combat, they can have useful effects, like Divine Guidance: This allows you to add an extra d4 to all your skill checks.
Having advantage on an attack roll is absolutely desirable. It increases your chance to hit and thus the speed at which you can take down your opponents. However, the community has valid points as to why you should not use True Strike.
5 Tips to Level Up Your Characters Properly in Baldur’s Gate 3
True Strike is really the worst spell trick in Baldur’s Gate 3 – but also in D&D
Why does the community have a problem with True Strike? In combat, it is desirable to make as many attacks per round as possible and thus maximize damage to the opponent. However, using an action that can result in multiple attacks from certain classes for an advantage in the very next round does not make sense – writes Reddit user ScooterBrigade.
In the following discussion, over 600 commentators explain that this is precisely the function of the spell trick – and that in the original source Dungeons & Dragons fifth edition:
thepersona5fucker:No, you are exactly right. As far as I know, True Strike is one of the most infamous and terrible spells in all of D&D. I wouldn’t be surprised if it appeared in this game as a joke.
Louismash99:I once had a player who only used a spell after wasting a round with True Strike. And then missed most of the time anyway.

How can True Strike still be helpful? Most Reddit users agree that the spell trick is a complete waste of time and action. However, some also write that you could cast the cantrip right before the first round of a fight and thus deal more damage at the beginning.
Others point to the spear Watcher’s Guide, which in English is Watcher’s Guide. An attack that would miss the target automatically receives True Strike and thus a second attempt to hit. The dagger Bloodthirst has a similar function.

How can you gain an advantage on attacks without the spell trick? In fact, there are many different ways to gain advantage on attacks. True Strike is just the most wasteful.

Here are the opportunities given in Baldur’s Gate 3 for advantage on attacks:

How exactly does the pants-dagger combination work? Wudijo’s hunter increases the damage of his attacks through combo points. In his video on YouTube, for example, the damage of the attack “Rapid Fire” increases from 29,550 – 36,116 through one combo point to 32,505 to 39,728. Additionally, he fires an extra arrow (6 instead of 5). Furthermore, each additional combo point increases the damage and the number of arrows fired – the effect is stackable.
By default, Wudijo can stack three combo points and thus deal up to 50,653 damage and shoot 8 arrows. However, now the new pants come into play: thanks to ‘Tibault’s Will’, he can stack far more than 3 combo points. According to PC Gamer, up to 23 stacks are possible. Wudijo claims this is a bug.
With the dagger ‘Doom’, Wudijo is able to fill the combo points completely in a short time and can subsequently deal extreme damage.
Is a nerf/fix possible? Wudijo explains in his video that he considers the high number of combo point stacks to be a bug and refers to it as “gamebreaking”. He himself would not rule out that it gets fixed.

You take on the role of the titular diver, Dave
During the day, you dive into the depths of the mysterious Blue Hole, which is home to all kinds of fish – and, so they say, mermaids
At night, you sell your catches at the sushi restaurant you run with your buddy Cobra and the chef Bancho
Dave The Diver is essentially a Roguelite, even if it doesn’t market itself as such. A dive corresponds to a run, where you encounter various smaller and larger opponents and must eventually face a gigantic boss.
Between runs, you can upgrade your equipment to dive deeper, have more oxygen (a.k.a. health), carry more weight, or deal more damage.
The concept is very well received: On Steam, Dave The Diver has a status of “Extremely Positive” with 97% positive reviews. The standard version costs €19.99, and in the Deluxe Edition, in addition to the game, an artbook, the soundtrack, and an additional skin for your boat are included.

Love at First Click?
I snagged Dave The Diver during the summer sale on Steam because the enthusiastic praise intrigued me, and I can’t say “no” to a good deal. However, it ended up in my “Pile of Shame” for a while.
Since fishing games had hardly played a role in my gaming life until now, I thought after Dredge, there was no way a second fish game this year could fascinate me, right? Well, I was wrong.
From the opening sequence on, Dave The Diver captivated me with its charming characters. Once I could start exploring the diverse underwater world, I didn’t want to put the game down.
I would most likely compare it to Moonlighter, where you descend into dungeons at night to sell your loot in your shop during the day. By the way, it’s available on Steam for a bargain until November 2.
However, Dave The Diver doesn’t stop at the simple premise, but gradually introduces new mechanics: You quickly manage your own fish and vegetable farms, collect fish like Pokémon cards, and raise a Tamagotchi-like pet.
Moreover, there are sections where you need to infiltrate an enemy base, escape in a boat, or switch between two characters to solve simple puzzles. Oh, and there was also a rhythm game. Some of these levels were so well designed that I would have loved to play them multiple times.
And then there are the massive bosses that await you at the end of each chapter and after some side quests. These special opponents are diverse and usually require mechanics introduced in the previous sections.
Especially towards the end, I needed several attempts with some bosses until I learned their attack patterns after being caught off guard by a second phase. And yes, in the end, the bosses also drop ingredients that you can use to create unique dishes.
However, this should be well thought out, as far as I know, these items only drop once.
Like a Warm Sea Breeze for the Soul
Overall, Dave The Diver is not a difficult game and is generous with checkpoints in sections that use different mechanics than the tried-and-true gameplay loop. However, in typical Roguelite fashion, your first runs may end quite abruptly until you can improve your gear.
However, there is really no stress involved. Except maybe that one time I completed three long missions including boss fights in a row without returning to save in between – only to be killed by a simple shark when I surfaced because I was greedy and wanted to catch him too. But we won’t talk about that.
Instead, the game is perfect for letting your soul chill a bit. Especially now, as the days are getting shorter, grayer, and rainier, I enjoy diving a little deeper into the tropical-feeling game world and soaking in the summer vibes.
“Oh come on, I’ll just do this … when did it become night?”
Theoretically, Dave The Diver is perfect for dipping in for a round or two, since you can determine when to return to the surface. However, there was always something that triggered this “Just a little longer…” for me:
“I’m so far now, I can do the boss fight too.”
“I’ve gathered all the ingredients, I want to serve the VIP customer his special menu.”

Thus, it rarely happened that there was a short gaming session. Currently, I am in the postgame, the story is completed, I just have some loose ends to tie up. At this point, I usually get restless and feel the urge to finish everything quickly and move on to the next game.
Instead, I don’t want my adventure in the Blue Hole to end just yet. I’m still diving to work on my fish collection and earn money to improve my farms, level up my employees, or treat myself to power-ups that would have made the main story easier.
If you don’t feel like dreary autumn weather, I can only recommend giving the friendly diver a chance. And even if you already took a look at the game during the big Dave hype in summer, it might be worth another visit.
Since the update on October 11 has just added some new content, including new side quests and crab traps, which allow you to catch shellfish.

What has Van Damme done instead? By now, we know Van Damme from other film franchises. He appeared as a villain in The Expandables 2, where he had to fight against Hollywood veterans like Sylvester Stallone.
Just this year, a new film in the franchise, The Expandables 4, was released, but Van Damme has not been involved since the third installment. Instead, he has been seen in films like We Die Young, The Last Mercenary, and Black Water.
The “Fast & Furious” franchise has now experienced a slight downward trend in terms of box office earnings.

After the launch of Season 2, there seems to be some information about the first expansion of Diablo 4 in the game files. Dataminers have taken a look at what new features there are and have come across interesting clues.
What we know about the new expansion:
Diablo 4 is expected to get paid expansions in addition to free seasons and updates. Presumably, one of these will be annual. The 1st expansion is expected to be released in 2024.
The story is apparently set to return to areas in Diablo 2, specifically: to Kurast, the capital of Kehjistan. There, one could find Mephisto in Diablo 2.
The new class is likely named “Spiritborn.” Additionally, there are hints about a mercenary system, raids, and runewords that were supposed to be present in the game at launch.
How reliable is the information? Since datamining is never entirely reliable, you should take the new hints with a healthy dose of skepticism. Nevertheless, the topic around Mephisto has been explained as likely by experts before.
Given the connection to Lilith and the end of the Diablo 4 campaign, a reunion with the Prime Evil sounds plausible. The connection to Kehjistan has also been hinted at, as Meshif appears in the story of Diablo 4. The seafarer was born in Kurast. Additionally, zones have already been found that are directly adjacent to Kehjistan.
Furthermore, Blizzard is moving in a direction of “the old” with Diablo 4 and is trying to capture the feeling of Diablo 1 and 2. It would fit if a reunion with content from older parts occurs for nostalgia.
However, it is also possible that this simply concerns cut content. Since Mephisto is already in the game and runes were also planned, it could be that remnants have been found and not upcoming content.

Title Update 4 removes penalty and unstoppable OP bug
The new update brings larger and smaller changes for all solo and multiplayer game modes. EA Sports has published the complete list via trello.com. First, we will take a look at the most important new feature for the most popular mode -Ultimate Team- before we address smaller changes.
Changes for Ultimate Team:
The penalty precision indicator is visible again for everyone. During penalty shootouts, it was possible that the timing display, which determines the precision of the penalty kick, would disappear for some players. We extensively reported on the penalty issue and presented a solution.

How useful is the build in combat? In fact, there are few applications for this boost. In a fight, you could get to more distant enemies faster. However, when a fight starts, your enemies are rarely more than 50 meters away.
You can escape from fights with speed and clever maneuvering. The aggro range for enemies is 27 meters. However, only one of your characters is fast enough. This means the rest of your party of up to four will be left behind.
Additionally, you must be careful when maneuvering not to run too close to your enemies. They will get opportunity attacks otherwise. You should also keep in mind that your wizard has already used their action for this, and your sprinting character can no longer attack.

Players are reporting a nasty bug in Season 2 where some of the most important items in Diablo 4 are not dropping. You are wasting your time and getting fed with far too few rewards.
However, the chests can only be opened if you have accumulated enough embers in your inventory. Players are now reporting situations where they have spent their embers on chests and got almost nothing or very little from the chest. Moreover, the drop rate of the embers you get from enemies is also bugged and drops far too few materials.

How can the bug be fixed? While many have been annoyed by the bug, some players have come across two options to address the loot problem.
One method revolves around leaving the event as is and waiting for the next one, so you don’t waste time and can do worthwhile things in the meantime.
The second method reports leaving the area where the Hellflames are located and returning again. This is especially worth it for the chest bug if you are getting far too few items for your embers.
If you are traveling in groups, it is advisable to leave them, as otherwise, you will not be able to reload the area. If you have separated and reset the Hellflames with your teleportation, you can return to your group again.
