Mobile games are not for everyone. But by now, everyone should have realized that Warcraft Rumble is quite fun. However, many cannot deal with the small display of a phone, and not everyone has a tablet on hand. However, it is possible to play Warcraft Rumble on PC – even if you need to install additional software for that.

What is needed? The setup only takes a few minutes. Before you can play Rumble on PC, you need:
A Google Play Store account (or the corresponding Apple Store)
After installing BlueStacks 5, you just need to start the application. In the settings, you can choose which smartphone model you want to appear as – but this is usually not very important. Log in here with your corresponding Google or Apple account and just search for “Warcraft Rumble” in the store and install it.
It may happen that BlueStacks switches to a different player version at this point, but that is quite normal.

What problems can there be? It may be that BlueStacks says when starting Warcraft Rumble that CPU virtualization must be enabled. In that case, you need to enable this on your PC first. You can access it by holding down a key when starting your PC – depending on the manufacturer, this is often F1, F2, or F4.
After you have enabled CPU virtualization, restart Rumble again via BlueStacks and it should work.
How does BlueStacks finance itself? The program constantly displays ads in its various players to be offered for free. However, you can simply deactivate these in the options if they bother you too much. Generally, the ads are not very disruptive as they are located outside of the “emulated” phone display.

This is what Blizzard says: In the interview, Brent Gibson, Associate Game Director for Diablo 4, explains why beloved classes like the Paladin or Witch Doctor are not returning with the new addon.
I think it’s important to remember what our goal was with the main game. So we did really well in delivering five classic classes – and their very specific power fantasies were really important – we wanted to get them right. I feel like we did that amazingly well.
However, while developing Vessel of Hatred, the team faced an important decision. Should they try something new or continue as before?
“The team talked a lot about it, and we really feel responsible for providing new gameplay opportunities. So we decided to do something new. And that is sort of the core that we are working on.”
The MMORPG Justice Online has been playable in China since 2018. The game has gained significant attention especially due to its beautiful graphics and action-packed battles. There is now a hint that the title may finally be released in Europe.
What is Justice Online?
Justice Online was released in China in 2018 by NetEase (known in Europe for Diablo Immortal). In 2023, a cross-platform version between PC and mobile was launched.
Now, NetEase itself gives a hint that the release in the West is near (via reddit.com). The company has filed a trademark application for Sword of Justice (via trademarks.justia.com). This might be a new name that the developer and publisher is adopting for the release in Europe.
The application was submitted on September 1, 2023. However, there has been no official announcement since then. So we should wait to see if anything happens regarding this matter soon.
It is not known whether NetEase will release the original PC version or the cross-platform version for PC and mobile here.
How is the game funded? Similar to Swords of Legends, there is a free version available at the beginning. However, later you will need to pay money to buy gaming hours. Additionally, there are microtransactions where players can purchase equipment items for real money.
It is not known how the payment model will look in the West.

In World of Warcraft, there is currently a pretty nasty bug that diminishes the gaming experience. After a while, there can be severe stuttering, and the entire system is increasingly slowed down. Pleasant gaming becomes almost impossible, and the cause is hard to find. The culprit is a bug that leads to a “Memory Leak.” The bug was introduced with Patch 10.2 Guardian of the Dreams.

What kind of error is this? In the case of a memory leak, your RAM gets overloaded because World of Warcraft keeps demanding more space. While the game normally should only occupy a few gigabytes of RAM, the memory leak causes this value to continually rise, and there seems to be no end in sight. WoW “consumes” as much memory as it can – and the longer the game runs, the worse it gets. An end is only in sight when your memory is completely exhausted.
The result: the entire PC is slow, World of Warcraft stutters heavily.
This error affects all users of DirectX 11 and Mac computers.
How to fix the error? There is currently no permanent solution, but there is a workaround you can apply. If you notice that World of Warcraft is consuming too much memory, which you can see in the Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+DELETE), then a small console command helps, which you simply need to enter in the chat window of the game:
/console gxrestart
This reduces the RAM usage back to the default value – at least temporarily. After a while, the amount starts to increase again. So save this command and use it regularly to avoid overloading your computer.
When will the error be fixed? Blizzard has already identified the error. Apparently, it is due to a faulty line of code that only occurs on the live servers and therefore was overlooked during internal testing. A fix for the problem is expected to be available within this week – so you probably won’t have to deal with this workaround for long.
A bug fix is expected to go live during the current week, likely with scheduled maintenance on Wednesday.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 had a rough start despite a large PR effort, and the multiplayer does not provide a better picture of the shooter. Players are disappointed and are therefore raining down bad reviews on Metacritic.
What is happening on Metacritic? Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 had its multiplayer and zombie mode release on November 10. Players could finally start grinding for their weapons and ranks and no longer had to settle for the absurd campaign.
Despite this, the mood around the controversial shooter did not improve. Players have a clear opinion about MW3, and it not only is bad, but it shows that the shooter is the worst title in the CoD series. The game is even worse than the disastrous vampire shooter “Redfall”.

A player puts their hard drive in the freezer to save data. But what is behind this method and how safe is it really?
A gamer explains on reddit that his HDD gave up shortly after the warranty expired. There is a kind of electronic alarm that comes from the drive. For this reason, the user explained that he put the hard drive in the freezer. Because this trick is supposed to help make the hard drive briefly usable again.
Freezing trick helps with certain damages, but only temporarily
What kind of trick is this? The method of “freezing” is primarily used when certain components of the hard drive, the bearings, are damaged. Both the spindle and the write and read heads of the hard drive are connected to a bearing.
The “freezing trick” consists of putting the drive in a waterproof plastic bag and then placing it in the freezer. If you leave it alone for a few hours, the cold cools the metal so much that it contracts and, in some cases, frees the hard drive to spin.

Moreover, her actions are being followed by a beautiful eunuch, whose beauty drives many ladies crazy. However, Maomao seems uninterested in the eunuch’s advances, leading to many humorous situations.

What makes The Pharmacist’s Diaries so special? The protagonist, Maomao, makes the anime so exciting. She is an inconspicuous lone wolf who enjoys conducting toxic experiments on herself, yet suddenly has to take on one of the most important tasks at the imperial court.
I liked Maomao’s ability to combine things. She is a sharp-witted girl, despite having to grow up in poor conditions. Due to her connections to the brothel and her knowledge of medicine and herbs, she is well-equipped for every situation at the imperial court.
It’s also exciting to guess what ailments her clients suffer from. To what extent do the mysterious deaths fall? And why do many of the characters suddenly fall seriously ill? Maomao has been able to solve every riddle so far, and I enjoy watching her do it.
Where can I watch The Pharmacist’s Diaries? The anime is currently airing on Crunchyroll. You can even watch the first three episodes without a subscription. The first season is not yet complete, with a new episode being released every week.
There is the option to switch between the Japanese and English dubbing. However, this only applies to the first three episodes; all subsequent episodes are only available in the Japanese original with German subtitles.
On November 30, 2023, the co-op shooter Warhammer 40,000: Darktide celebrates its 1st anniversary. After a somewhat rocky start, the developers at Fatshark changed their strategy. This seems to be paying off, as the current reviews on Steam indicate.
What is the situation with Darktide? The successor to the successful Vermintide series gained over 100,000 players at release in 2022. However, the enthusiasm did not last long. Players were disappointed by the lack of depth, performance, and balancing issues led to declining player numbers and reviews.
Overall, Darktide holds “mixed” reviews: About 61% of players recommend the dark co-op shooter on Steam. In response, the developers announced they would postpone paid content and focus on fixing the game first.
The strategy seems to be working, as player numbers and reviews are currently recovering. For the anniversary, there will be two free updates.

What is the current situation? At the beginning of October 2023, the announced “Class Overhaul” was released, which gave the co-op shooter real RPG skill trees. As data from the analytics site SteamDB shows, Darktide achieved player numbers last seen in December 2022.
For the last 24 hours, the peak is nearly 20,000 concurrent players – almost five times the numbers before the update.
The developers’ efforts are reflected in the reviews as well: For the last 30 days, the rating is 86% “very positive”. However, a look into the reviews shows that players are still quite divided:
The Box Ghost™ (not recommended): “I am VERY close to recommending the game, but not quite. The game is noticeably better with the class rework, so I would almost-but-not-quite recommend it, but there are two big things it needs to improve: [Revamp the crafting system and add new maps, as well as more cover to existing maps.]”

It seems that Darktide is on the right track, but the dissatisfaction and mistrust of the players run deep and are not so easily resolved.
What’s next? With “The Traitor Curse,” a two-part anniversary update is set to follow. The first part is expected to launch in November, with the second part to follow in December. The developers promise the following contents for Part 1:
A new cinematic is supposed to showcase the motives of the Moebian 6th.

Which decisions are particularly cruel? KyojiroKagenuma94 argues that betraying Lady Aylin to Lorroakan is perhaps the cruelest decision in the game. He believes that this act is far worse than simply killing her to fulfill the fate of Shadowheart.
The player writes:
You free her, bring her back together with Isobel, only to then rip everything away and put her back in a cage. To make matters worse, Lorroakan murders Isobel when she comes to Aylin’s aid, and she is forced to look at the corpse of her beloved, whom she has now lost again. And for what? For a few coins? Damn, that’s evil.
Another player named GimilionTheHunter writes about a dark decision that also involves betrayal and the killing of loyal companions:
Dark Urge can resist the urge, gain Jaheira’s trust, talk to her about her former Bhaalspawn companion, help her save Minsc, then sacrifice her to Bhaal for Sarevok, and when you later talk to Minsc [Talk to the dead], he just screams for Boo.
The pain of Minsc, who after this betrayal can only scream for his hamster Boo, gives this decision a particularly disturbing touch.
Spengy adds an even more cruel note by sharing another decision regarding Jaheira, Minsc, and Yenna. In a Dark Urge run, the player also gained Jaheira’s trust and had Orin kill Yenna at the Bhaal shrine. When Jaheira and Minsc then turned against the player, the player forced Jaheira to be killed with Minsc’s larva.

I can handle Yenna being stabbed in the eyes, but all the effort to reunite Jaheira and Minsc, just for him to kill Jaheira and then realize what he has done… such bullshit.

Speculation has repeatedly arisen about whether the popular action hero could return for another film after John Wick: Chapter 4 – especially since a 5th installment of the series is now in the works. In an interview, the director discussed what was planned for the iconic character.
With John Wick: Chapter 4, the latest installment featuring the former killer was released in March 2023, in which he fights for his survival while all the assassins of the underworld are after him.

The End of John Wick … for the moment, at least
In an interview with Collider on November 2, 2023, director Chad Stahelski talked about the ending of the film character and confirmed that the 4th installment of the action series represents the provisional end for John Wick:
It was just never the way Keanu and I saw it, so we worked and worked and worked and cut a bunch of sequences and took some things out and in the end made a single film, as you see it now.
But the plan was always for John Wick to conclude his journey the way he does at the end of the film, and that should be the end for the moment.
The death of John Wick at the end of Chapter 4 was also a wish of lead actor Keanu Reeves, who was so exhausted from the intense filming that he did not want to take on the efforts again.
Thus, the story surrounding John Wick finds an end in Chapter 4. However, it is noticeable that Stahelski talks about an “end for the moment” and thus does not completely rule out a return.
Furthermore, the fourth installment is not the conclusion of the film series because: According to a report from comicbook.com on November 9, 2023, Lionsgate confirmed that the script for a 5th John Wick film is in progress – and there should be more spin-offs.
Could one now use the loophole that was left open in the 4th film and allow John Wick to return? Or does the 5th part maybe revolve around another character from the action cosmos? – That remains to be seen.

Chucky may be a horror icon, but he is more of a second-tier character. A few years ago, a series based on the killer doll was released. MyMMO author Niko Hernes started watching the first episode, looking forward to mediocre trash. But he was surprised: the series is truly good.

Jake Wheeler is interested in art and retro stuff. At a flea market, he finds a doll with red hair that he wants to use for an art project. As it usually goes, the doll is Chucky, who now intrudes into Jake Wheeler’s sad life.
At the beginning of the series, Chucky takes on the role of a bad devil on the shoulder. He wants to entice Jake to commit a murder. Quickly, Chucky also directly intervenes in the chaos of high school.
The story in school is quite cliché and generic. But through Chucky, who kills and gives Jake tips, a very comedic atmosphere arises. Especially since most of the students are incredibly unsympathetic.
The series deals with classic high school clichés by having a murderous doll show how ridiculous it all actually is.
Chucky’s loose mouth is the star that gives the generic context the right flavor and kept me entertained in almost every episode. But the big, unexpected highlight for me are the action scenes and the kills.
A Well-Crafted Series
Everything so far sounds like a possibly fun trash guarantee, but what surprised me completely is how high-quality the series looks. Watching Chucky on the surface, the series looks quite good. While CGI is used, the star of the series is moved and played by puppeteers.
The way he moves and how it is staged makes him really look like a doll moving through voodoo. The voice of Chucky is Brad Dourif, who has voiced him since the original. Only in the terrible reboot of 2019 is Chucky voiced by Mark Hamil.
The combination of puppeteers and voice is especially a true feast in the murder and fight scenes. Chucky is small, but this allows him to move differently from other killers. For example, he moves under chairs or disguises himself as an ordinary doll.
The kills themselves are bloody, skillfully executed. Because of Chucky’s body, they are also creatively realized and enjoyable. It is never really scary, but as an element in a horror-comedy, these scenes work perfectly, without ever slipping into silly territories.
For fans of the film series, the show offers incredibly many recurring characters. These are not only visible in the background but also central figures in the story. They are reinterpreted in a new and modern way, while the entire history of the Chucky series is treated with respect.
I love the series. Sure, the nonsense with high school is not particularly exciting, but how Chucky deals with it is absolutely entertaining, and from the second season onward, we also move to a more exciting location.
Anyone who enjoys quality kills and absurd stories of a murdering doll with a loose mouth will have the time of their life here. But those expecting real horror should rather resort to series like these:
