Baldur’s Gate 3 emerges as the clear winner at the Golden Joystick Awards, winning so many awards that the boss can hardly carry them all. MeinMMO reveals what it’s all about.
What are the Golden Joystick Awards? The Golden Joystick Awards is an annual awards ceremony for video games held in the UK. The Golden Joystick Awards were first awarded in 1983 and have recognized the best games and developers in various categories every year since.
The winners are determined by votes from players and fans. Voting occurs online and everyone can participate. This year’s awards ceremony took place on November 10th – and for the first time since 2019, the awards were held in person in London and broadcast live worldwide.
Baldur’s Gate 3 won so many accolades at this year’s Golden Joystick Awards in London that the boss of Larian Studios Swen Vincke
can hardly hold them all. We’ll reveal which awards those are.
