The Halloween event of Overwatch is now live! We have all the details for you.
Secretly under the cover of evening, Blizzard has now launched the Halloween event for Overwatch. The nearly 1.6 GB patch 1.10 (on PC) is now available for download and installation.
However, there is a special feature: Following the negative feedback from the Summer Games event, where skins could only be purchased in loot boxes, there is now a change. Halloween loot can also be purchased for credits! However, this loot is priced three times higher. A legendary Halloween skin costs 3000 credits, while an epic one costs 750.
More than 100 different items can be included in the loot boxes, which now replace the regular loot boxes. The event is expected to run until November 1, ending the night after Halloween. Use the time to secure all the rewards you want!

Aside from the new cosmetics, there is also a fresh brawl mode, the threatened attack from Dr. Junkenstein. We will report on the details of this game mode at a future point (as soon as we have played it extensively ourselves).
Cortyn says: Well, now WoW has disappeared for a few days. Don’t expect me in the next few days, because I have to play Overwatch. I certainly won’t miss this skin for Mercy. I also need to grab the new Symmetra skin. And Roadhog too. Oh, damn. How am I supposed to manage all of this? In any case, Blizzard has come up with some really cool things that massively promote collecting – I just hope I won’t have to spend any Euros for it…
