Due to an error, Pokémon GO temporarily distributed two sought-after legendary Pokémon: the black and the white Kyurem.
This is what trainers report: As players from the community report to Pokémon GO on platforms such as reddit and Twitter, it was possible to obtain the black and the white Kyurem in Pokémon GO for a short time.
They were distributed as rewards in the PvP battle league – despite the fact that these two powerful forms are actually not in the game yet. So far, only the normal but weaker form of Kyurem is available in Pokémon GO.

Of course, trainers were extremely surprised when they suddenly encountered the new Kyurem forms as rewards. But it became clear quickly: This was not planned.
Niantic corrects the error – This is what the developers of Pokémon GO say about Kyurem
This is how Niantic reacts: In a post on X.com (formerly Twitter), Niantic Support responded. They state that these two Pokémon were unintended and that the error has now been fixed. Accordingly, they are currently not available in the battle league or anywhere else in the game.
Furthermore, Niantic writes that they want to investigate the origin of the error, check further steps, and apologize for the “confusion and the circumstances”.
This is what the players say: In the comments, some players report that they wish that the monsters would just be released now – because they want to catch them too. Others write that this would have been a great motivation for them to participate in the PvP battle league.
But this is not surprising, since the two forms of Kyurem are two long-awaited Pokémon. In the main games, they emerge when Kyurem fuses with the other legendary Pokémon Zekrom or Reshiram. Kyurem belongs to the Pokémon with the highest attack values in these forms.
How things will progress with the two Pokémon remains to be seen. Also, what will happen to the specimens that trainers have already caught is still unknown. We will keep you updated as soon as there are further news.
