Which weapon will be nerfed? Call of Duty: Warzone will receive adjustments with the launch of Season 2 in Black Ops 6, including a nerf for the assault rifle XM4, which is currently regarded as one of the top weapons in the battle royale.
The XM4 is one of the most played weapons in the game and particularly excels as a reliable all-rounder that does not need to be unlocked but is available to use right away. This assault rifle has secured a solid place in the meta of Warzone.
However, in Season 2, the XM4 will be slightly nerfed so that it can no longer dominate at all ranges.
Meta rifle will be nerfed
What will be nerfed on the XM4? The XM4 will especially receive a nerf for longer distances, resulting in reduced range. Additionally, the damage will be lowered to over 48.2 meters.
Moreover, the damage multiplier for hits to the legs will be reduced from 1.0x to 0.88x, and the aim down sights time with the drum magazine will increase from a 15% increase to 30%. Lastly, the vertical and horizontal recoil control will be worsened by the weighted stock.
The weighted stock was introduced during Season 1 for the XM4 and XMG and reduces the recoil of a weapon at the cost of mobility and ADS speed (aim down sights time).
The official patch notes for Season 2 of Black Ops 6 are currently only available in English.
