Since June 2023, players in Japan can play the new MMORPG Blue Protocol. While the West is still eagerly waiting, the game is now receiving interesting updates.
What kind of game is this? Blue Protocol is an MMORPG published by Bandai Namco, which is awaited in the West. The game is said to have an engaging, fully voiced story and offers both PvE and PvP content.
An action-packed combat system, dungeons, and raids await you. Similar to Guild Wars 2, the game world is divided into zones where about 40 players can gather.

Blue Protocol receives many new contents in 2024
What is supposed to happen in 2024? On January 22, 2024, a developer livestream took place, discussing the plans for around the first half of 2024. A new class is supposed to be introduced in April. Although the class was mentioned, no details are known about which class it is. So far, there have been 6 different classes to choose from in Blue Protocol.
In addition to the new class, new dungeons and raids are also expected. For example, the “Desert Eater” raid is supposed to be added in January. Furthermore, players will be able to explore the “Cluster Sandway” and “Sopra’s Trailway.” More raids, dungeons, and areas are set to follow.
Is the story continuing? The story is also continuing. In February, the maximum level is supposed to be increased to 70, and the classes will receive new abilities. Additionally, the storyline is planned to continue in Chapter 5 in February. In March, a new raid is expected to be released, continuing the game.
A new mode is supposed to take you down
What kind of mode is this? In March, a new hardcore mode called “Sudden Death Battle” is set to be introduced. This mode is particularly challenging; you must not be hit even once by an opponent, or you are finished. The objective is to survive until the time runs out.
This mode does not belong to the normal difficulty levels but is aimed at players for whom the game is still too easy. Work is currently being done on the difficulty levels of the regular dungeons and raids as well.
It is unclear in which version Blue Protocol will launch in the West and whether all classes will be available. Nevertheless, Blue Protocol is one of the most anticipated games for this year.
