Users of an Nvidia graphics card will soon have fewer performance issues while playing the PC version of Monster Hunter: World. The next driver update will include a fix; the culprits in Monster Hunter World have been identified.
What have the problems been so far? The PC version of MHW has struggled with performance issues since its release. These problems have primarily led to CPU overload and game crashes.
Capcom has been aware of the problem for a long time and there have already been several performance patches; however, the issues still occur now and then. You can also tweak your settings a bit to manually improve performance.
4 Keys Were to Blame
What will be fixed? Nvidia developers have identified several causes of the performance issues. The culprits were likely four redundant and unused keys that are to be removed from the Monster Hunter World profile:
- 0x0094C537
- 0x0094C538
- 0x00A25FC4
- and 0x105E2A1D
With the next driver update, Monster Hunter: World should run up to 20% better.
It is therefore advisable to get the update as soon as it is available.
The update is aimed exclusively at users of Nvidia graphics cards.
