Ninja is currently often found in Valorant and he is having a lot of fun in Riot’s team shooter. However, after top gamer ScreaM revealed that a certain agent gave him nightmares, Ninja quickly agreed and also admitted that he fears a particular hero.
Which agent is the problem? Among all the agents in the game, ScreaM from the pro team Liquid and top streamer Ninja are most afraid of Jett. The nimble fighter from South Korea gives both of them nightmares.
“Jett is the character that is currently the most OP in Valorant,” tweeted Ninja in response to ScreaM’s statement. He later followed up and said:
“Whenever I hear “Watch This” [Jett’s battle cry], I know that I’m about to get overwhelmed or someone will come over a wall with double jump that I didn’t even notice and take me out with a shot.”

These are Jett’s strengths: Ninja and ScreaM play Valorant at a high level. There, the skills of the heroes are particularly essential in conjunction with individual weapon handling strength. Often heroes with strong utilities dominate here, that is skills that help the entire team. But Jett is an excellent killer, showing significant advantages against her opponents in duels:
- She is extremely mobile with her dash and updraft abilities
- She can reach unreachable places
- She can jump over impassable obstacles
- Her ultimate is extremely deadly
This is how crazy her ultimate is: Jett can suspend a series of throwing knives in front of her as an ultimate and hurl them at her target with pure mental力. She is 100% accurate. Neither movement nor anything else lowers her precision.
Additionally, the weapons use a hitscan model. This means that the bullets land exactly where you aim. There is also no bullet deviation or similar.
This means that a skilled player – and we are talking about pro-level, where almost everyone is good at the game – can perform wild acrobatic maneuvers with Jett and still achieve precise one-hit kills with the knives while making headshots. Moreover, Jett can switch between knives and regular weapons at any time when her ultimate is active.
Ninja and Co have every reason to be afraid.
Is Jett really that OP? At the pro level, Jett is definitely a dangerous opponent. However, even this agent can spectacularly fail. European top gamer Mixwell from G2 remarked dryly, “Yeah, isn’t that beautiful? But when it goes wrong, it looks terrible.”
Also, keep in mind that this is about pro level in Valorant. In regular play, Jett is strong but by no means overpowered. Other duelists, like Raze or Reyna, are also very strong in their respective areas, and especially Reyna, you do not want to encounter her when she has her ultimate active.
