With Season 10 of New World, various adjustments for the artifacts in Aeternum have arrived. MeinMMO reveals which artifacts are currently particularly recommended.
What has changed with Season 10 regarding the artifacts? With the latest update, 2 important changes for artifacts have been introduced on the servers of New World:
- All perks of all artifacts have been adjusted to fit into the new endgame system. Artifacts have been redesigned so that new perks can either be equipped in slots or are fixed assignments, making them unchangeable.
- The attribute component of the artifact perks has been removed. Exceptions are the functions “+X to all attributes” from “Tuned Leather Pants” and “Old Crown”, which will still remain to preserve the uniqueness of these artifacts.
Additionally, there have been numerous detailed adjustments for various artifacts. Because of all this, the meta has naturally shifted a bit. Below we present the artifacts that we consider currently the strongest and that must not be missing from your collection. You can jump to the items that interest you via the table of contents.
Serenity – Greatsword
The artifact greatsword Serenity is a strong choice for both PvP and PvE fans due to its enormous damage. Even tank builds opt for it to efficiently generate high threat. The weapon can be well combined, for example, with a war hammer or a combination of sword and shield.
You can earn the weapon through the PvP reward path, where you need to complete 20 series to ascend to the bronze category and reach level 29 to potentially gain access to artifacts at the third checkpoint. However, you also need the luck to have the right artifact offered, which can take some time to grind.
You best level this path through the 3vs3 arenas or the faction missions in the open world. You pay for your desired artifact with the currency Azoth Salt. The alternative Scythe Wave has experienced a slight nerf with Season 10 but is also a good choice for PvP and PvE enthusiasts.
