New World offers several professions that you can level up to level 200. In this guide, we at MeinMMO want to explain how you can level the Armorer particularly quickly and what special tricks you should pay attention to.
What does the Armorer do? The Armorer crafts the armors – head, hands, chest, legs, shoes.
You can craft heavy armor at a forge, while light and medium armor can be made at the tailoring station.
How to level the Armorer effectively? The Armorer is relatively straightforward in the leveling process. Unlike the Weapon Smith, there are no whetstones to exploit.
You focus on the pure crafting of armors, which is relatively expensive. As a supplement, you can take city quests to earn a few experience points cheaply.
You can find city quests on the boards in the cities, and for these, you need to craft specific items, such as a bulwark armor made from primitive iron.
It’s important that you sometimes need the raw materials, such as Iron Ore, Fresh Wood, and Raw Leather.
For crafting these items, you get much more experience than for any armor. At the same time, your character gains good experience when you complete the city quest afterwards.
So, if you want to level quickly and effectively, you should take as many city quests as possible.
Leveling Armorer – Here’s How
From level 1 to 50: For the first levels, you can choose between city quests or armors. The most economical are the Raw Leather Gloves, as they only require 4 Raw Leather and 4 Linen. Alternatively, you can craft the Linen Pants.
For a direct jump to level 50 with the gloves, you need:
- 496 Raw Leather
- 496 Linen
- 124 Iron Ingots
The required raw materials, of course, decrease with each city quest.
Level 50 to 100: From level 50 onwards, Satin items become the cheapest. Here, you should craft the best option of 384 Satin Trousers. These have the best price-performance ratio at this level. At all other levels, gloves are stronger.
For the full levels, you need:
- 1,920 Satin
- 1,152 Raw Leather
- 384 Iron Ingots
Alternatively, you can continue doing city quests and crafting armors.
Level 100 to 150: At this level, Silk Gloves are the most effective method. For the full levels, you need 725 gloves and the following materials:
- 2,900 Silk
- 2,900 Raw Leather
- 725 Iron Ingots
Level 150 to 200: Here, it’s advisable to craft gloves made of treated silk. You will need 1,237 of these. That costs:
- 4,948 Treated Silk
- 4,948 Raw Leather
- 1,237 Iron Ingots
Additionally, from level 185 onwards, you can craft useful epic armors with specific names. It may be worthwhile to invest a bit more in raw materials to get an item that will help you in the game.
