The new MMORPG Abyss Online on Steam is starting an alpha test during the Christmas season. MeinMMO reveals what kind of game it is and how you can participate.
Abyss Online, a sandbox MMORPG, has caught the attention of players – especially with its focus on PvP and modifiable quests by the players. However, Abyss Online was originally conceived as a game focused on NFTs and cryptocurrencies.
When does the alpha test start? Now, Abyss Online wants to start the alpha test and invite players to explore the world of the MMORPG. This is supposed to happen around Christmas. It is a semi-closed
alpha test in November and December. A specific timeframe or date has not been mentioned.

What can you expect in the game? It is a new sandbox MMORPG from a small indie team. Abyss Online offers PvP battles in an open world and also in arenas in 1vs1 and 3vs3, with a ranking system. Exciting are also the large guild battles that are supposed to take place for control of areas. There will also be raids, dungeons, and world bosses.
Players are supposed to be able to modify their quests with the help of an AI in the main story, thereby slightly changing the storyline. The world should adapt based on the actions of the players

Through a flexible progression system, you will be able to gain experience through battles, exploration, and crafting. There are a total of 11 classes with 33 subclasses. In addition to the combat challenges, more relaxing activities such as fishing and farming will also be available to you.

The developers promise in the description under the trailer that there will be monthly testing phases and content updates. The game is set to enter early access in April 2024.
