Dread Hunger is an upcoming game on Steam, inspired by the hit Among Us. Here, too, the goal is to survive and discover the saboteurs in the crew in time before they all plunge into ruin.
What is Dread Hunger? Dread Hunger is a survival detective game that resembles the gameplay of Among Us. Eight players are members of a 19th-century expedition in the Arctic.
While everyone tries to survive in the merciless icy wilderness, two crew members are nasty traitors who want to lead everyone to their doom through sabotage and other mean tricks.

What are the highlights of Dread Hunger? While Among Us has a space expedition theme and is more playful and humorous, Dread Hunger is much darker.
You travel on a steamship through the icy expanses of the Arctic and constantly have to search for coal to keep the boiler running.
Additionally, there are survival elements such as hunger, because those who don’t eat will starve. Meanwhile, the evil traitors can betray their comrades by poisoning food, stabbing people in the back, or bewitching them with dark magic. Bodies can, by the way, be dismembered and their remains used as tasty stew or even a weapon.
Besides human opponents, there are also dangerous creatures, such as wolves and recently also a fierce polar bear. Your characters have different classes, such as the marine infantryman, the captain, or the new huntress.
When will the game be released? Currently, Dread Hunger is in Early Access on Steam. For 20.99 euros, you can unlock it and start playing immediately. The game is expected to be out of EA in six to eight months, according to the developers.
On Steam, you will also find a roadmap with the updates already released and what the developers are still planning. More characters and customization options are expected to be available soon.
