Everyone knows this feeling: You wait for the release day of a highly anticipated game like a little kid. It can’t come soon enough. And when the game finally arrives, you want to play it as long as possible. We want to know from you: Have you ever taken a vacation or skipped school and university for a game?
Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally out. A game that thousands of gamers have waited for a long time. So it’s not surprising that some students may not be as diligent with their responsibilities and lectures on release day as they usually would be.
As an adult responsible person, you can’t afford to skip. Instead, it’s common for gamers to sacrifice a few days of their precious vacation time for the release of a game or expansion.
The long development time that a video game must go through before release increases gamers’ impatience and the urge to play it as long as possible. You want to see and discover everything right away, experience the story, try out the latest weapons and game mechanics, and test whether the horse balls really shrink in the cold.

Tarek says: We played Halo 4 at school during the release. Connected a projector to the Xbox during lunch break and just played. The teachers looked annoyed, but said nothing.
Patrick shares: One of my teachers played World of Warcraft. He was around 50 at that time and after the release of WoW: Wrath of the Lich King, he was “sick” for a few days. At that time, we all played WoW and naturally knew what was going on.
