Some fans of Call of Duty: Warzone are enviously looking at the new mobile version of the battle royale – specifically, there is one detail that they have long wanted.
What is Warzone Mobile?
- On March 21, 2024, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile celebrated its release and brought the gaming experience of the popular battle royale as a free-to-play title to Android and Apple devices.
- It features the same weapons and – with a few exceptions – the same skins as in Warzone for PC and console.
- It is possible to level the battle pass and the weapons from the regular Warzone in Warzone Mobile.
However, Warzone Mobile also has two details that some fans of the regular Warzone for PC and console are now envious of.

Mobile has more players and the community’s favorite map
Why are CoD fans envious of Warzone Mobile? In Warzone Mobile, the map “Verdansk” is available right at the game’s release. Verdansk was the map that started Warzone in 2020. However, in December 2021, the map was completely replaced by the “Caldera” map and left Warzone. Since then, many players have wanted Verdansk back in classic Warzone – so far in vain.
Moreover, some Warzone fans have noticed that in Warzone Mobile, you can play with up to 120 players on a map. In the PC and console version of the game, you are only on the battle royale map “Urzikstan” introduced in Season 1 of MW3 and Warzone with 100 players.
Players judge harshly: “Mobile is currently better than console.”
What exactly are players saying? Players are making it clear on social media that they wish Activision would give Warzone on PC or console similar treatment to Warzone Mobile:

Some Warzone fans are certainly considering whether to play a round or two of Warzone Mobile and compare the title with the console or PC version of the game.
