Just yesterday, a heatwave rolled over Germany, leaving us all panting and sweating. Today, temperatures beyond 30 degrees are expected. People flock to public pools, ice cream parlors, or beer gardens to enjoy the cool liquid, whether in frozen or tasty form.
However, some barricade themselves with lowered blinds and a plethora of fans in their own four walls and play a fresh game. Do you too?
Do you play less in summer than usual?
Summer – many first think of vacations or summer holidays. Tons of free time to spend as you please. But what does one do with all that time? Do you sunbathe? Go out with your buddies? Or finally play that game you never have time for?
For hardcore gamers, there’s hardly anything better than being able to dive into the beloved online world without interruption. No annoying work breaking the flow of the game. Finally, you can play through the night – you don’t have to get up early. Wonderful! Or?
On the other hand, now is the chance to stretch your head into the sun and get rid of that pale face. After all, you still have the whole night to roam the online world and cause a ruckus with your buddies. Or is the night too short for you? Do you use your summer free time to finally make progress in the game?
How do you prepare for gaming in the summer?
Sometimes, however, one struggles with a nasty sunburn or simply feels the urge to have a nice gaming session. How do you fight the heat so that gaming remains fun? Fans are a must in many rooms. Plenty of water or other cool drinks are also essential. Moreover, you are truly grateful for every piece of clothing not worn. If necessary, the ice tub must come into play.
Or do you laugh at this heat problem and play comfortably in air-conditioned rooms? Otherwise, there’s also the option to set up a screen in the garden and move the entertainment system outside. Maybe combined with a delightful barbecue evening?
There are definitely many ways to adapt gaming for the summer months. Completely giving it up isn’t necessary.
