A data leak in Apex Legends reveals an enormous amount of new content. This includes the descriptions of the next 9 legends, new game modes, weapons, and maps. How legitimate this leak is and what content you can expect in the next 27 months, you will find out here on MeinMMO.
What kind of leak is this? While Apex Legends is currently in Season 12 and the game remains very successful three years after launch, a real bombshell is about to hit us.
For an unknown leaker recently released a data leak of epic proportions. It apparently involves an internal developer build of the game that was uploaded as a complete folder.
Among other things, 9 new legends with their skill descriptions can be seen. We also learn quite a bit about new weapons, game modes, and maps.
On reddit, the now (and very quickly) deleted information from the original upload circulated vigorously, and the community is completely in an uproar. Since Apex Legends releases a new legend each season and a season lasts 3 months, the leak may have revealed 27 months’ worth of future content.
Is this really real? Of course, such leaks should be viewed with caution, and no official confirmation from developer Respawn is available. We at MeinMMO have already requested an official statement from publisher EA.
However, the material shown looks extremely real, especially the video featuring the new legends and their models.
The community agrees that this information is indeed legitimate and that the content of the next 2 years has truly been revealed. The rapid deletion of the original data also suggests that an extremely secret internal build was uploaded.
But even if all this data is 100% legitimate, development plans can change at any time. So this leak does not guarantee how Apex Legends will proceed in the coming years.
The likely content of the next 27 months in Apex Legends
These are the new legends: The “highlight” of the leak is, of course, the 9 new legends. We know all their names, titles, and descriptions of their skills. Some of them even have more or less finished models, while most appear as placeholders.
According to the current state of the leak, the upcoming legends and their skills are as follows:
- Conduit (Support): This legend has the title “Empathic Shielder” and can charge shields faster and strengthen allies. As an ultimate, he can strip enemy shields and give himself one.
- Scryer (Recon): The title of this legend is “Haunting Stalker.” This legend is a recon character who apparently monitors his killer after his death. He is also said to be able to blind enemies and attach surveillance cameras to them.
- Newcastle (Defender): This legend is already well developed and bears the title “Mobile Defender.” It seems to be a mobile version of Gibraltar. He should be able to carry fallen teammates to safety while reviving them. Additionally, he can erect shields in one direction and actively rotate and move them. Moreover, he can jump into a target area and establish a fortification in one direction. Apparently, he also received Lifeline’s revival shield.
- Uplink (Defender): This legend has the strange title “Satellite Survivor” and possesses some truly bizarre skills. He can summon a satellite that follows and heals teammates and even revives them. As an ultimate, the satellite can even prevent you from dying.
- Vantage (Recon): This legend carries the title “Survivalist Sniper.” A rough model is already available for her as well. She can gather tactical info about enemies from a distance and seems to have a bird that functions like a drone. She can mark enemies, who then take increased damage, and as an ultimate, she has a unique sniper rifle.
- Catalyst (Defender): This legend is known as “Creative Builder.” He appears to be heavily inspired by Fortnite, as he can build ramps and towers from a substance called “Ferro-Fluid.” Additionally, he can strengthen placeable objects, like Rampart’s walls or Gibraltar’s shield.
- Phantom (Support): This legend is said to be an “Agile Assassin.” He can perform double jumps and swing along walls with a grappling hook. Furthermore, he can temporarily send enemies into another dimension with a grenade.
- Jester: This legend calls himself “Tricky Trapper.” He starts with a grenade and can lay it out as mines. Additionally, he is said to be able to summon combat robots that then guard specific areas. As an ultimate, he has a cloaking shield that makes everyone invisible for 6 seconds.
- Caliber (Support): This legend has the title “Apex Arms Dealer” and is likely a weapons supplier. He can carry a third weapon (!) and set up a turret that uses one of his weapons. As an ultimate, he can place an ammo crate that supplies everyone in the vicinity with free ammunition without needing to reload.
All this information is, of course, with no guarantee and may change before release.
What else is coming? Further information from the leak also shows the heirloom for Valkyrie, which receives a spear. There is also talk of a new map called “Divided Moon.” Additionally, there should be new arena maps and 3 new weapons. 2 of them are known by name, “Nemesis B-AR” and “Fanatic Energy Pistol.”
These are the reactions: On reddit, where the information has continued to circulate cheerfully since the deletion of the original data, the leak has sent all users into a frenzy. Particularly, the likely next new legend Newcastle has caused excitement:
- “Newcastle just became my new main. This ultimate is simply INSANE!”

Lastly, some users lament that the previously very popular healer Lifeline could become practically obsolete due to Newcastle:
Newcastle will be able to revive with a shield AND move at the same time, he can also deploy a new shield after the revival. Essentially, he can revive in the middle of a field. Meanwhile, Lifeline is still waiting for her teammate to crawl behind a rock (if there is one), just for the teammate to die before they can even get back up.
