The tabletop hobby around Warhammer 40,000 is not exactly cheap. Old and rare miniatures can quickly reach high prices. Now, a lucky person has bought a figure that is really valuable and makes the community envious.
Which figure is it? The Reddit user sillygoose-1714 shared a post in the Warhammer subreddit. There, he shows pictures of a large, painted figure. He found it in a toy box in a second-hand store and paid less than 22 euros.
As a newcomer to Warhammer, he took the figure home because it simply looked cool. However, he was not aware of what kind of treasure he had found.
Why is the figure so special? Another Reddit user provides the lucky person with some answers about the model. It is the “Imperial Reaver Titan.” These were created by the company Armorcast, which was supposed to make some models for the larger scale of 28 mm instead of the small scale of 6 mm.
In the late 90s, there were two systems of Warhammer. The regular system refers to the game with a scale of 28 mm and is still widely used today. The so-called Epic system is played with a scale of 6 mm and was meant to depict huge battles.
According to the Reddit user, the Reaver Titan was sold between 1995 and 1998, which brings the age of the miniature to about 30 years. He also mentions that it is not a figure directly from Games Workshop, which means there is little information available. However, these models are very rare and popular among collectors.
The figure costs several times 22 euros
How much does the Reaver Titan cost? Of course, there was also speculation about the price in the subreddit. Some users write it could be several hundred dollars. One user estimates it to be $800 or more and links to an eBay item that sold in January 2026.
This was a similar Reaver Titan from Armorcast that sold for $1,053. This would be approximately 911 euros.
What does the community say about the figure? A Reddit user believes that this model belongs in a museum. Over 200 other Warhammer fans agreed with him (as of April 7, 2026, at 1:50 PM). Other comments also refer to the treasure the user found, saying that it is their dream model.
Of course, envy is not far away with such a find, and some users congratulate the lucky person, even though they would like to hold this model in their hands themselves.
