A user on Reddit posted a find from his grandmother’s house. She supposedly hoarded quite a bit and over the decades has saved a very special picture from Disney.
What kind of picture is it? The Reddit user TNT_dog posted a photo of a painted cel in the AnimationCels subreddit. The image features the dog Lady from the animated film Lady and the Tramp from 1955. The Cocker Spaniel lady is being petted by her owner Jim.
What makes the picture particularly special is the golden sticker on the back: It verifies the image as an original cel drawing that was used in the production of Lady and the Tramp. Therefore, it is indeed a real piece of film history.
On Reddit, commenters are debating intensely: Should TNT_dog sell the animation cel or not?

gallery. They reassess the cel more closely: Specifically, this is indeed an original, and it could be sold in their gallery for $1,200 to $2,500. Additionally, this is a particularly beautiful and large picture of Lady.
Many voices, such as those of Comfortable_Job4970, Pikapetey, or even Affectionate-Yam7459, believe that TNT_dog should definitely keep the picture and simply have it framed in a high-quality manner. This is a family heirloom from Grandma and, moreover, something that should be kept and not sold. graffiksguru even suggests that the picture should definitely be insured for at least $2,500.
