With League Classic, Riot has launched a new game mode for League of Legends that follows different rules and brings a different balance. MeinMMO provides you with the tier list of the best champions in Classic mode.
League Classic is based on Season 3 of the MOBA with some adjustments, but champions have a different balance than in modern LoL. It’s even possible to win rounds in just three minutes.
If you want to try the mode, we provide you with the tier list with the corresponding champs, broken down by their roles and divided into different tiers:
- S-Tier: Champs that are so strong that they can win a game alone in the best case.
- A-Tier: Hyper carries that help a team to victory when supported appropriately.
- B-Tier: Potential carries that have more counters than champions in A-Tier; or supporters that rely on carries.
- C-Tier: Situational champs that work when they counter their lane or exploit niches in specific situations; not general carries.
- D-Tier: Champions for which there are usually better alternatives.
In the MeinMMO editorial team, there are many LoL veterans who have been playing since release and are really enjoying LoL Classic. The selection of champs in this list is based on our experience, coordinated with impressions from the community or data from analysis sites like Mobafire and OP.gg.

Note that some champions like Kassadin and Katarina may have the potential to wipe out entire teams, but are not so easy that they can do it on their own. You still have to master them somewhat.
