The manufacturer LG has introduced a range of new televisions. The highlight is definitely the 8K television with 325 inches. However, at 1.7 million dollars (1.44 million euros), the television is not exactly cheap. This will primarily speak against a quick investment in a television for the PS5 or Xbox.
Some may know this: you already have a PS5 or an Xbox Series X, but you lack the suitable television and 50 inches just isn’t enough for you. After all, you want to play your PS5 exclusives on a big screen.
If that thought of “playing on the big screen” crosses your mind, then manufacturer LG now offers you the perfect television for this purpose.
With the “Home Cinema Display” series, they have now announced a line of televisions that you can also get in screen size if you think a projector is too small. However, not only the price of 1.7 million US dollars is likely to deter many users from making a purchase.
325-inch television targets multimedia and cinema fans
Who is this television for? LG targets individuals who do not want to go to the cinema and want to experience cinema right in their living room. This is also supported by the name of the new televisions, as LG calls them “Home Cinema Display.” By choosing this size, you are essentially bringing the cinema into your home.
Most televisions come with an aspect ratio of 16:9. LG offers its giant television in a 32:9 version. You could theoretically watch 2 videos side by side or watch a movie while participating in your raid in WoW.
If all of this is too big for you, LG also has an option: in addition to the 325-inch television, LG has also announced several smaller variants of the “Home Cinema Display” series. The “DVLED Home Cinema Display” from LG is available in various sizes (108 to 325 inches) and resolutions (HD to 8K). The smallest display measures at least 108 inches.
Those of you who now want to buy the device for your PS5 or Xbox Series X should keep a few things in mind. After all, the giant television is not only very large but also heavy and expensive.

What problems do potential buyers face? Firstly, the price is very high. At a time when you can buy PS5 consoles and graphics cards for thousands of euros on eBay, gamers may be accustomed to high prices. However, at 1.7 million US dollars, the screen far exceeds all prices of other high-end devices that you might usually find on the market.
Secondly, the television is very large. Even if many users would be tempted to buy it because of its size, very few users are likely to actually have the space to hang the television in their apartment.
As a third point, it should be noted that the television weighs 2000 pounds (about 910 kg) according to LG. You will need suitable walls or at least a structural engineer to tell you whether you can even hang the television in your apartment.
