Baldur’s Gate 3 – Who is it worth for?
Why should I check out Baldur’s Gate 3? Baldur’s Gate 3 is a classic fantasy role-playing game set in the DnD universe, where you meet various characters with their own backgrounds and goals on your journey. You engage in numerous conversations with various dialog options, make decisions, and find new allies and romances.
Additionally, Baldur’s Gate 3 can be played both solo and in online co-op with up to four players. If you choose to continue your journey without friends, various NPC companions are available to interact with and will assist you in battles.
In turn-based combat, you must carefully consider how to proceed and which actions are best to play your turn ideally. You determine not only your actions but also those of your NPC companions, who can also die in combat.
If you enjoy fantasy role-playing games, Dungeons and Dragons, and turn-based combat, purchasing Baldur’s Gate 3 may be worthwhile for you.
For whom is Baldur’s Gate 3 not interesting? A decisive criterion can be the turn-based combat and isometric perspective.
If you prefer to play role-playing games like The Witcher in third-person or even in first-person perspective, while engaging in action-packed sword fights, Baldur’s Gate 3 might disappoint you. There are many pauses in combat where you plan your moves.
Additionally, Larian Studios’ role-playing game is less suitable for you if you like to skip cutscenes and only follow the dialogues sporadically. The interaction between the characters is an important aspect of Baldur’s Gate 3.

What is Baldur’s Gate 3 about? Baldur’s Gate 3 takes place about 100 years after its predecessor and leads you once again into the legendary city. It is currently being attacked by illithids, who among other things infect your character with mind flayers.
Mind flayers are parasites that nest in your head and use you as a host. They grant their host special power and allow, for example, the manipulation of other living beings. In return, they try to persuade you to commit evil acts.
You naturally want to remove the nasty parasite from your head before it takes over your body and mind and rescue the inhabitants of Baldur’s Gate from the threat – or succumb to the desire for power and the evil parasite in your head and become the ultimate villain.
What does Baldur’s Gate 3 offer? In addition to online multiplayer, a detailed character editor, and an open world, Baldur’s Gate 3 boasts a range of content and facts concerning the story of the game:
