What is Baldur’s Gate 3 about? Baldur’s Gate 3 takes place about 100 years after its predecessor and leads you once again into the legendary city. It is currently being attacked by illithids, who among other things infect your character with mind flayers.
Mind flayers are parasites that nest in your head and use you as a host. They grant their host special power and allow, for example, the manipulation of other living beings. In return, they try to persuade you to commit evil acts.
You naturally want to remove the nasty parasite from your head before it takes over your body and mind and rescue the inhabitants of Baldur’s Gate from the threat – or succumb to the desire for power and the evil parasite in your head and become the ultimate villain.
