What is Frustration? Frustration is a charged attack that your caught Crypto Pokémon automatically learn. Unlike other Pokémon, you cannot simply change the charged attack of Cryptos at will.
Niantic only allows these changes during specific events, which is why this opportunity is limited to a few days in the year. Due to the Rocket takeover, it is time again for you to free your Crypto Pokémon from the annoying Frustration attack and assign a new move.
How does it work? In order for your Crypto Pokémon to forget Frustration, you only need to use a Charged TM during the event period. As you probably know from other Pokémon, a random new move from the respective pool of the Pokémon will be assigned. Thus, it is random which move your Pokémon will get, and this may require several attempts.
If you want to assign a specific move directly, you can alternatively use a Charged TM. With this, you will get a selection window where you can choose the new move directly.

Why should you forget Frustration?
Here’s why you should take advantage of the Rocket bonus: The Frustration attack is a Normal-type attack. Overall, this attack is not particularly strong. If you want to use your Crypto Pokémon in battle, it makes sense to give it a strong moveset.
For example, Mewtwo, the legendary Crypto Pokémon of Giovanni, with a moveset of Confusion and Psychic is one of the best Psychic attackers in Pokémon GO. Therefore, it is sensible to give Crypto-Mewtwo and some other strong Crypto Pokémon a better moveset by forgetting Frustration.

This is how you get the Crypto Pokémon: To secure the Crypto Pokémon, you need to battle the members of Team GO Rocket. After the battle, you will have a special encounter where you have the chance to catch one of the Pokémon.
