The series will be available to watch on Sky and WOW like the previous seasons, but this time also on the new streaming service HBO Max, which launched in January. A new episode will be released weekly on Mondays.

House of the Dragon Season 3: Plot
What is House of the Dragon Season 3 about? The Targaryen war, the dance of dragons, is escalating further. But the war is not only within the family; other houses in Westeros are also taking sides in this conflict. A central battle at the beginning of the series is expected to be the battle in the Gurgle, a naval battle between the alliance of the Blacks and the Greens.
The first trailer for Season 3 not only showcases the many participants in the conflict but also already depicts quite bloody and fierce battles, with the dragons as a form of weapon of mass destruction at the center.
Season 3 will not be the finale of the series. As previously announced, the series is set to conclude with a final Season 4. One can assume that Season 4 will be released in 2028.
After A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Season 3 of House of the Dragon is the second series in the Westeros universe to be released in 2026.
