What kind of event is this? The event “Into the Depths” starts on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM. It runs until Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 8:00 PM.
How do I get Lumispross? The rock and poison-type monster Glimmet is making its debut in the event. You can obtain this monster from Generation 9 on routes, in field research, as well as in both free and paid limited-time research.
With Glimmora, Glimmet has an evolution. Whether and how you can obtain the evolution at the start of the event in Pokémon GO is currently unknown.

What bonuses are there in the event? If you complete routes during “Into the Depths,” you will receive triple the amount of experience points. Additionally, there is halved hatch distance for eggs that you place in incubators during the event.
While you can encounter Diglett and Yungoos with an increased chance of being shiny (**), all monsters that we have marked with a * below have the regular shiny chance.
What monsters are there in the event? In the wild, you can also encounter the monsters Diglett**, Dunsparce*, Meditie*, and Yungoos**.

What other content is there? Field research is also part of the event. Here you can receive event monsters as rewards for successful completions.

For $1.99 (approximately €2), you can also purchase a ticket with limited-time research. Here you will receive double the amount of hatch candy until the end of the event. Additionally, you will get 2 incubators as well as encounters with Diglett**, Yungoos**, and the new monster Glimmet.
