Henry Cavill returns with new information about his series related to the Warhammer universe. Yes, series. Live action seems to not be enough for the actor, as another series project suggests.
What has Cavill announced? Henry Cavill posted on Instagram with a lot of information about his Warhammer series, after there was a while of disturbingly much silence about the work. Here he confirmed himself that Mike Flanagan is involved in the live-action series, as well as the production company United Artists, with whom Cavill has already collaborated during Highlander.
Now the actor and tabletop fan not only provided a sign of life regarding his Warhammer series with Amazon, but also a further announcement that may sound like an early Christmas for many Warhammer fans: He is not only producing a live-action series but is also working on an animation project for Warhammer 40,000.
What will this animation project be? The animation project is specifically a spin-off of the already existing animation anthology series “Secret Level” on Amazon Prime. It consists of several short films focusing on existing game universes, where Dungeons & Dragons, New World: Aeternum, Honor of Kings, Pac-Man, and Warhammer 40,000 have already received an episode.
