Here’s how to find the cannon ships: The Gunships can randomly be found in Automaton territory. Keep an eye out for aircraft with red scan lasers or large buildings that represent their facilities. Here’s how you destroy the cannon ships: The Gunships can actually be easily destroyed with explosive weapons. Use tactical equipment like the Automatic Cannon, Single-use Anti-Tank, or regular primary weapons like the new R-36-Burster or Plas-1-Smoker to destroy the aircraft with targeted shots.
It is important not to forget the cannon ship facilities. These produce new Gunships at constant intervals, which can inflict further damage on your armor. To destroy these facilities, you need to call in a Hellbomb, but it is always destroyed by the Gunships.
So clean up the airspace above you and defeat all surrounding robots. Then call in a Hellbomb and destroy the factory of these dissidents to prevent further Gunship production.
Here’s what you should consider: The Gunships are aggressive units that you should not underestimate. They quickly realize when you want to destroy their factories and immediately focus on the called Hellbombs. It is therefore important to take care of them immediately and stay away from their lasers, as they can detect you that way.
