MG-206 Heavy Machine Gun
The gun fires large cartridges and has a small magazine of 75 rounds. You can also adjust the fire mode and switch between 450, 750, and 1200 rounds per minute. However, be aware that this will also affect your accuracy, as the gun already has a heavy recoil.

LAS-99 Quasar Cannon
The cannon is the bigger brother of the railgun but with unlimited ammunition. You charge a hot beam with this weapon and then unleash it on your enemies. However, after one shot, you need to let the weapon cool down for a long time.

Although the weapons are new, many players wanted a different weapon in the fight against the robots – the minigun. Previously, the head of Arrowhead discussed with his community about the possibility of a minigun, but the discussion was quickly shut down.

What do the Helldivers need? On social networks like Reddit and Twitter, many players exchanged ideas about new weapons and possible gear suggestions. Not only new weapons and backpacks were introduced, but also tactical equipment. A popular suggestion within the community is the minigun.
As mentioned, Pilestedt, the head of Arrowhead, also discussed with the community about the implementation of such a weapon. However, this is difficult as the gun would have such a large recoil that it would make proper use difficult. While fans continued to discuss possible solutions with Pilestedt, he shut it down.
Perhaps the new large MG was the reason why Pilestedt did not want to delve further into the discussion.
