It won't be long until GTA 6 is released. Until then, you should have decided which edition is right for you and whether you want to pre-order the game.
The pre-orders for GTA 6 started on June 25, 2026. You can choose one of two versions when purchasing: the Standard Edition for €79.99 and the Ultimate Edition for €99.99.
So you don’t have to decide which edition to buy a day before, take your time over the next few months. It’s not a small amount of money, so you should not make the decision hastily.
If you are unsure whether the more expensive Ultimate Edition is for you, take a closer look at the benefits and decide if they are relevant to you. If cosmetic goodies don’t matter to you and neither do some exclusive bonuses, then the Standard Edition can also be more than sufficient.
However, what you should decide by November 18: Do you want to pre-order or not? If you are certain that you want to play GTA 6 without exception, you have nothing to lose. If you want to wait to see how the game is received and runs before you invest your money, you don’t have to do that, of course.
Here again, the reminder: Even if you buy the open-world adventure just a day before the release, it counts as a pre-order. So don’t feel too pressured, as long as you keep the deadline in mind.
