What does a CEO do in GTA Online? Since the major GTA 5 Online update Further Adventures in Finance and Felony, you can build your own empire with illegal operations as a CEO. You smuggle weapons, medicine, jewels, or drugs. To ensure these businesses are successful and profitable, there are important things to consider – because the competition is also active and wants a piece of the “pie”.
Become a CEO – Buy a CEO Office
To activate your CEO status and register in the game, you must first buy an office from which you can manage your operations.
Which office should you buy? The office you choose depends entirely on how much starting capital you have. If you prefer to save money, the cheapest office option is completely sufficient – there are no business disadvantages. What can you utilize? In the office, you also have a table with a large 3D map, showing the various warehouses (Green: Owned – Red: For Sale). Between your missions, you can sit on the couch with your employees and play “Don’t Cross The Line.” At your desk, there is a computer through which you can conduct new business and order goods.
At the reception desk of your office, your personal assistant is waiting and ensures that business runs smoothly by taking care of logistical tasks. Thanks to her assistance, your Pegasus vehicles are ready for you outside when you need them. She can also arrange a quick helicopter taxi for you, which will take you directly back to your office.

Register as CEO and Manage Warehouses
Once you own an office building in GTA 5 Online, you can register as a CEO in the interaction menu or directly at your computer in the office. Registration is not time-limited and is also free. To store the goods you demand as a CEO, a warehouse is needed – but they come in different sizes.
What size should my warehouse be? Warehouses come in small, medium, and large – which size is right for your warehouse depends entirely on your play style. The value of the individual boxes in the warehouse increases with the total number of boxes stored.
Example (made-up numbers): If you have 2 boxes in your warehouse, you can sell the contents for $8000. If you double the number of boxes to 4, you won’t get double the profit, but rather about $18000 (the double profit + bonus). A full, large warehouse therefore brings you more bonus profit than a full, small warehouse – but you also need a lot more time to fill a large warehouse.
In the long run, it is worth buying a large warehouse. To make “quick money,” you can opt for a smaller version. The purchase depends entirely on how much time you are willing to invest. Additionally, in your warehouses, you have the option to outfit the vehicles for your goods deliveries with weapons or armor to make the delivery trips safer.

Purchase Illegal Goods
The missions in which you procure illegal goods are not always easy and require coordinated teamwork with your employees. You will face police units, helicopters, high-speed chases, and surprise attacks. When you request goods, they are available in different amounts: 1 box, 2 boxes, and 3 boxes. Multiple boxes have a higher difficulty and cost more money to acquire – but fill the warehouse faster.
Goods deliveries do not always go as planned: Gangs, the LSPD, and even rival players are waiting for a CEO to order illegal goods. You should time these deliveries well so that competitors do not destroy these boxes and ruin your profit. Each player can only carry 1 box at a time, which is why employees in your organization are particularly important when other players are in your online session.
If something goes wrong during the job, your assistant will contact you on your phone to inform you. Additionally, each goods request has a specific time limit in which the boxes must reach the warehouse – here, too, organization and efficiency are required. After completing several missions and securing goods, you, as a CEO, have the opportunity to request a special item. This item is heavily guarded, but extremely valuable and brings you more money than the usual goods.
Selling the Goods
At your laptop in the warehouse, you have the option to sell the goods in storage. There are 3 options (4 options if you have special items in storage) for selling.
Selling in larger quantities brings you a lot of money but also more attention, increasing the risk of being attacked during transit – if you fail to deliver the goods, it can get quite expensive.
However, a trick in GTA Online makes your sales missions incredibly easy.
