Ghost Recon Wildlands – The best weapons – Sniper Rifles – MSR
The Remington MSR is a modern sniper rifle. The abbreviation MSR stands for Modular Sniper Rifle and denotes the weapon’s property of being configurable for all possible combat situations.
In Ghost Recon Wildlands, the MSR is one of the best sniper rifles, as it shows high values in almost all relevant stats. The MSR has high penetration power, deals a lot of damage, is extremely accurate, and has a long range. Only its handling and fire rate are less good, and it is damn loud, even with a silencer.
The MSR is a classic single-shot repeating rifle. You cannot perform bursts with it and must aim carefully to ensure that each shot hits. Also, consider the small magazine size of only 5 rounds. However, this can be increased to 10 rounds with an extended magazine.
Location – Where to find the MSR?
The MSR is not only a top sniper rifle, but it is also located close to the starting province. So if you want the MSR, you don’t have to travel far. Just drive or fly to Mantuyoc, the neighboring province of the starting region, and look in the far west for the village of Araca and the Choza-Padre mine. While there are plenty of enemies, the MSR is also there. In the embedded video from YouTuber StreamerHouse, you can see the MSR and its location.
