The mobile adaptation of the action RPG is not just a simple port of the sixth part of the series. It is an MMORPG based on the story of the single-player game.
What is the original Ys VI about? In the Ys series, you always take on the role of the hero Adol Christin, who travels through the world and experiences adventures. 800 years before these adventures, humans stole a powerful artifact from the winged Eldeen, the Ark of Napishtim. This is a computer protected by an AI. This artificial intelligence went insane and nearly flooded the entire Atlas continent. The Eldeen were able to create a new seal for the computer at great cost to prevent further disasters.
In Ys VI, the dark Ernst sets out to find this seal and use the power of the Ark for himself. Hero Adol must stop him.
From Single Player to MMORPG
How does the mobile game differ from the original? Instead of playing a pre-made hero, you can create your own. You play in the same world and at the same time as the original game. Whether you follow the same story is still unclear.
In addition, the graphics have been revamped. In the single-player game from 2003, only the environments were created in 3D, while the characters were 2D sprites.
