Today, your patience is once again required, as Fortnite is receiving a fresh update to version 41.30 and brings all sorts of new features into the game. However, the servers will be taken offline, and you will not be able to log into the game for a while.

Good morning! Today around 10 AM, the Fortnite servers will be taken offline for the update 41.30. According to leak from @FortniteFNLK on x.com, this time it is a smaller update, so the downtime shouldn’t last too long.
Keep in mind that matchmaking will be disabled approximately 30 minutes before the server downtimes. We will keep you entertained with all kinds of leaks and new features during the downtime. So stay with us while we wait for the servers to be reopened!

- When will the servers go offline? On July 30, 2026, presumably starting at 10 AM. A short time before, usually about 30 minutes before, matchmaking will be disabled, and you will no longer be able to log in.
- When can I play Fortnite again? According to the official status page, the update is expected to last about 1.5 hours. So you should be able to log back in around 11:30 AM. However, this is an estimate, and the actual duration may vary. In most updates, you can return to the game after about 2 – 3 hours. The servers should therefore be back online by 12 or 1 PM at the latest.
- When will patch notes be released? Epic Games only sporadically posts patch notes for updates now and usually only after downtime. As soon as they are available, you can read them here.
What content will there be? The official Fortnite account has already hinted that the collaboration with The Simpsons will return with this update. You can play in Springfield again.
