Good morning! The server downtime begins in less than an hour. According to leaker Shiina, the downtime is expected to last up to 4 hours (source: x.com). So expect a big update with many leaks and possible login issues.
What happens during the server downtime? The servers will be shut down. During this time you cannot play Fortnite.
Server Down in Fortnite – from when? The servers will be shut down on April 22, 2025, at 10 AM. Shortly before that (about half an hour) the matchmaking will be disabled (via x.com).
When can I play Fortnite again? This depends on the size of the update and the duration of the downtime. It’s a larger update, so expect 1 to 4 hours.
When will patch notes be released? Epic Games now only occasionally presents patch notes for updates, usually only after the downtime. As soon as they are available, you can read them here.
