Good morning! Today, around 10 AM, the servers of Fortnite will be taken down for the update 41.30. According to leak from @FortniteFNLK on x.com, this time it is a smaller update, so the downtime shouldn’t last too long.
Keep in mind that matchmaking will be disabled approximately 30 minutes before the server downtime, and you won’t be able to get in. We will keep you entertained during the downtime with all the leaks and new features. So stay with us while we wait for the servers to reopen!

- When will the servers go offline? On July 30, 2026, expected from 10 AM. Shortly before, usually about 30 minutes earlier, matchmaking will be disabled, and you won’t be able to get in.
- When can I play Fortnite again? For most updates, you can get back into the game after about 2 – 3 hours. The servers should be back online by 12 or 1 PM at the latest.
- When will patch notes be released? Epic Games only sporadically posts patch notes for updates now and usually only after downtime. Once they are available, you will read them with us.
What content will there be? The official Fortnite account has already hinted that the collaboration with the Simpsons will return with this update. So you can play in Springfield again.
