In Fortnite, the automatic pistol was released on the evening of February 8. This new firearm not only shines in general, but even surpasses its older brother: the submachine gun. What makes it better and whether it is worth putting it in your loadout can be found out here.
What can the automatic pistol do? The new automatic pistol resembles the appearance of a regular Uzi. The new MP fires many bullets with an above-average large magazine in just a few seconds. With an empty magazine, no one has to run around for long, as reloading happens quickly.
So what makes the automatic pistol better than its predecessor, and can the new firearm compete with the Stachel-MP from Chapter 3?
Automatic pistol or submachine gun?
What is the difference? Both weapons have outstanding values regarding reload rate, rate of fire, and damage. However, the new model surpasses the old MPs with one important aspect: accuracy.
Every weapon has recoil, and with MPs, this is greater due to the fast rate of fire. However, looking at the automatic pistol, it has little to no recoil even during sustained fire.
With the relatively large range that the new model possesses, you can easily take down enemies from a safe distance. Therefore, this weapon is currently the best of its kind.

Comparing the values, one can see that the Uzi does less damage than the previous models. However, it scores points in reload speed and magazine size, allowing it to keep up with them. When also factoring in the non-existent recoil, the Uzi is the clear winner among the MPs.
Where can I find the weapon? The new MP can be found everywhere through chests, supply drops, sharks, or even on the ground. So keep your eyes open as it is hard to miss.
