In Fortnite, Chapter 7 Season 2 will end with a somewhat larger live event. Many are now asking when it will start and what exactly to expect from the event. You can find all this information about the time and start here.
What time does the live event start? The live event “Shattered” starts on Saturday, June 6 at 1:00 AM German time – yes, you read that right, this time the event is actually scheduled to take place at night and not in the evening at 8:00 PM. This is very unusual, but so is the event itself.
Note that Epic Games will provide a separate mode for the event. 40 minutes before the start, admission will already begin. If you really want to be there, you should log in beforehand, as there will be free items for participation, and as some of you may know, the servers can also be busy depending on the rush.
What is the event about? This time the event will proceed a bit differently. At the beginning of Season 2, players could choose which side to fight for – Team Ice King or Foundation. That’s why the groups will split into two camps. Depending on which team you chose, you will also be spawned in a different location during the live event – either on the side of the Ice King or the Foundation.
Of course, it’s again about the fate of the island and hence the reality. However, it is still difficult to assess exactly how the event will unfold. We will naturally be there for you at night and will follow the events with a live ticker. So if you can’t be there, feel free to bookmark our overview here to not miss anything!
What gifts are there at the event? Of course, you should not leave the event empty-handed. That’s why Epic Games has prepared two rewards for you. Not everyone gets these, as they are subject to certain requirements:
- 1x Sidekick from the Dark Voyager
- Complete the live event “Shattered” with a friend
- 1x Pickaxe from the Dark Voyager
- Complete the live event “Shattered”
