It has been a week since the launch of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers in Early Access. We want to know from you: What do you think of the addon so far?
What kind of survey is this? With this survey, we aim to establish a rating for Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers based on the opinions and feedback from the community.
We have conducted such surveys in the past with games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Anthem.
With this, we want to give your opinion a voice and also provide a fair rating from the perspective of active players.
This is how long the survey will run: Shadowbringers has been available for pre-orderers for a week and was officially released on July 2nd. Since FFXIV is an MMORPG and many players will need time to look through the content, we will keep this survey open for another week.
There will be another survey in the future to capture long-term impressions of Shadowbringers.
This survey ends on July 12th.
What FFXIV: Shadowbringers aims to offer: The addon of FFXIV takes players into the new world of The First. It is said to bring as much new content as a full-priced JRPG, according to director Yoshida.
The new content includes, for example:
- Quests that continue the story of Final Fantasy XIV
- 8 additional dungeons
- New races Viera and Hrothgar
- Jobs Dancer and Gunbreaker
- 6 new large areas
- 2 Primal fights against Titania and Innocence
The development team will provide players with further updates throughout July, including the next 8-man raid “Eden”.

Let us know what you consider the most important innovations in Shadowbringers and how you found them. You can also do this in the form of a comparison: write down the pros and cons of the addon.
