Final Fantasy XIV is undergoing maintenance for 12 hours to prepare for Content Patch 2.5.
The Patch 2.5 for Final Fantasy XIV will be a big deal and big deals are taken seriously at Square Enix. The servers are scheduled to be down for maintenance for 12 hours. This will take place overnight from Monday, January 19th to Tuesday, January 20th. The servers will be down from midnight. The maintenance work should be completed by Tuesday at 12:00 PM German time.
Patch 2.5 will also deliver three new instances. Two of them are “Hard Modes” of already existing dungeons and one is new. The new instance “Keeper of the Lake” will likely be part of the main scenario.
