EA has just published the new plans for the e-sports season of FIFA 22. We will tell you how the Global Series and other competitions will work.
If FIFA 22 is more than a hobby for you and you want to be among the best players in the world, you can try to participate in the FIFAe tournaments. Or maybe you prefer to watch and learn the techniques of the professionals?
We will tell you what tournaments there will be and how they will be run.
These competitions are available: There will be a total of three different e-sports competitions in the FIFA 22 season. One for solo players and two 2-vs-2 competitions. They are:
- The FIFAe Club Series 2022
- The FIFAe Nations Series 2022
- EA SPORTS FIFA 22 Global Series
At the end of each competition, there will be a big final tournament in the summer of 2022.
Who can participate? In theory, any FIFA player who registers and qualifies can participate in the various competitions. However, it will likely require a lot of skill to compete with the best players.
On which platform will it be played? So far, EA has not released any information about the participating platforms. However, the competitions are likely to take place on the next-gen versions on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, as only these provide innovations like HyperMotion.
An overview of the various FIFA competitions
This is the FIFA 22 Global Series: This competition is aimed at FIFA solo players who compete against each other with their Ultimate Teams to crown the best FIFA 22 player. The Global Series begins with various online tournaments in ten global regions and ends with the FIFAe World Cup 2022.
Registration can be done from October 4, 2021.
This is the FIFAe Club Series: In this competition, two-person teams compete against each other in various tournaments to determine the best team in the world at the FIFAe Club World 2022.
Registration starts on October 5, 2021.
This is the FIFAe Nation Series: The FIFAe Nation Series is a competition between countries, where two-person teams from different countries compete against each other. It starts with the FIFAe Nations Qualifiers, where only the best countries advance to the playoffs. The final will take place at the FIFAe Nations Cup 2022.
