The developers of Final Fantasy 14 recently announced a new outfit in the shop. However, it caused excitement within the community.
What shop item is it? The developers of Final Fantasy 14 announced on April 10th, among other things, on X that a new outfit is available in the shop for €9. It is the garment of the popular character Alphinaud Leveilleur.
The set consists of a total of 4 pieces:
- Crystarium top of the prodigy
- Crystarium mittens of the prodigy
- Crystarium pants of the prodigy
- Crystarium knee boots of the prodigy
However, this has caused excitement within the community, as the player base is convinced that the same item already exists for free in the game.
Why is the outfit already available for free? A large portion of the player base noted on X that Alphinaud’s clothing is already craftable. For example, the user roegamaniac points out on X with a screenshot that clothing is already available. This is the item “Brightlinen Gambison of Scouting”.
What particularly annoys players is that this item can be dyed in any color, unlike the new one. Therefore, many players rightfully ask why they should spend €9 in the shop for Alphinaud’s clothing.
