The trailer of the action-adventure DokeV, which was released at the gamescom 2021, excites the gaming community. And although the material shown is rather “cute”, even professional grumblers like Asmongold or the macho Dr Disrespect are melting away.
What kind of game is this? During the Opening Night Live, which took place on Wednesday at gamescom 2021, the game DokeV presented a trailer. Originally, it was supposed to be an MMO, but the genre changed to an “open-world action-adventure” during development.
The colorful trailer impresses fans mainly through the visuals with which the world, attacks, characters, and monsters were designed. But gameplay is also an aspect that players praise.

Asmongold on DokeV
This is what the streamer says: In one of his livestreams, Asmongold watched the gamescom trailer of DokeV together with his viewers. After the first scenes, the Twitch streamer says: If he were 9 years old, this game would be just right for him. Then the trailer picks up pace – showing skateboarding and more action. Asmongold says “The game looks really cool.” When a character rides an alpaca, he surprisingly asks “Oh, are there mounts?”
Then he says: “This is kind of cool. It sounds crazy, but this game appeals to me more than many of the others I saw before. It’s so crazy, but somehow also cool.”
Asmongold is known in the community for his grumpy demeanor, often complaining about aspects of games. That he likes the trailer of DokeV and watches it with wide eyes and mouth is particularly remarkable.
Dr Disrespect on DokeV
This is what the streamer says: Dr Disrespect watched the trailers of gamescom 2021 on YouTube with his stream. Known for his macho persona, it took only a few seconds after the start of the DokeV trailer for the streamer to give his “snooze-fest” stamp. So a “yawning judgment”. But his chat disagrees and writes how good the game looks.
The streamer asks: “Yeah, you like that? Okay wait. Was I too hasty? That looked really good just now. Wait, I must have been too hasty”. Then he sees more gameplay: “I like the world. That looks pretty cool.” Then he summarizes “Okay, I change my judgment” and gives the game a “Hot Caka” rating.

Dr Disrespect says that some scenes in the trailer look like they have low FPS. They need to fix that. But he also likes how the character looks in the world.
